if you want half-cooked food then this is the place for you. Lasagne hot around the outside, cold in the middle. nice way to give someone a bad stomach. partner ate breakfast meal here too, then was on the toilet a few times with bad stomach

Clean , tidy , polite girls , consistently good every time. I drive out of my way to use it . If your looking for quality instead of a load of chips and beans this is your sort of cafe.

We popped in to Lea ‘N’ Tel’s Diner for breakfast before going shopping. All the food was piping hot, the bacon and sausages were very tasty and the fried eggs were perfect – no hard yolks here! The staff were very pleasant and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. All our breakfasts were very reasonably priced and they also do pies, chips and baguettes. Lea ‘N’ Tel’s is definitely worth a visit if you are in the area. The place was spotlessly clean and you can choose to eat in or have a takeaway.

Really good, fast, efficient, friendly service - lovely food, great choice on the menu, even for a veggie and good coffee.

There are two Costa Coffees at Hempstead Valley Shopping Centre (one inside and one outside). This is a review of the one outside as it was the first one we saw after parking the car. It it a light, airy establishment with friendly, helpful staff. There is seating both inside and outside and the tables were cleared as soon as the customers had left. The usual Costa drinks and snacks were available and our coffee was up to the usual good Costa standard.

I Googled Rochester restaurants as we were visiting family in the area we chose this as liked the look of the menu. We arrived a little early and were told they were happy to serve us in the bar as mum has mobility issues and resturant table were further. The staff were lovely the decor nice and fresh. We had a bit of a wait as a problem with the oven, they were very apologetic and reduced our bill. We had mussels, garlic mushroom, and crayfish cocktail as starter. Lamb shank and shin of beef for mains. Despite the oven problem it was all cooked perfection we will definitely be back.

It's good, just don't get it confused with the other Ship Inn in Rochester like I did!
