Food was lovely and good portion sizes. The tables and chairs are very tired.

Very good and very consistent. I've been coming here every so often over the last few years, and only once in all that time was I not completely satisfied (it was very busy and I had to wait for a long time for my meal). The food is delicious and there's enough variety on the menu so that different people can have something they enjoy. The food is also relatively simple and unpretentious, and cooked skillfully. Service is normally quite good with friendly front of house staff. The inside of the restaurant is also nicely decorated and with a nice atmosphere. I would definitely recommend this place.

In Druids as a stopover on way to London. Great real ale at very reasonable price (4:50). Quite empty as weather is awful but still made to feel welcome. Always a good pop in pub for me.🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺👍🏻

Went in for lunch on a Sunday, excellent food and portions, great value for money, very friendly and accommodating staff.

Well presented food with a fresh selection of vegetables. Polite staff and good value too. Note, the puddings are also very agreeable,, but a bit more costly.

The red lion hosted my father-in-laws wake thet were accommodating friendly and kind .. we had a buffet which was really nice .. nice clean pub that still has an authenticness about it even though it has been thoroughly modernised

Overall the rooms are lovely however the service could be improved, I wouldn't not stay here - however I would also consider alternative options for a similar price point in the area
