The Druids Arms in Maidstone

it's OK. drinks are a bit pricey.

I asked for a new drink since they mentioned the drink they were serving was "the bottom of the barrel", referring to a cider that was kept within a bag in the fridge which was too cloudy for my liking. They then proceeded to tell me the drink was fine. My drink was very cloudy and tasted bitty. I do not mind sediment in my drink but this was unpleasant. They simply said I was wrong and refused to repour. My friend then said it was sedenmenty and I wasn't happy. They then started to pour a new drink in a pint glass full of ice. My friend then complained stating that the server was being unreasonable filling a beer glass full of ice and then they proceed to pick out pieces of ice. The whole experience has left me not ever wanting to return to this bar, there are plenty of others I can visit for a cheaper price. I was at the bar at 18:00 on a Saturday night (15th march to be specific), with the male bartender with brown hair. I would not recommend going here. Awful experience pandering for locals only. A complaint to green king will be made.

Not eaten here but it's always got a good atmosphere and staff. Good quiz and when they have a band on it's great.

what a night, visited here a few times but last night was amazing,the band was fantastic.Katie and the team was busy all night but continued to keep everyone spirits going and the drinks flowing.Next time will try some of the small plates they have to offer

I go here for the speed quiz on Tuesday evening's. Very enjoyable, great host, brilliant bar staff and lovely food.

Lovely spot for lunch after a heavy day of Christmas shopping. Food was delicious and staff member on shift was lovely. Quite a small pub but very homey! Will return again

Good place for live music on Fridays evening with your drinks. The food is also decent. They have the crispy onion rings. They have lunch menu options on weekdays which is a saver.

Nice town centre pub with a wide range drink selection on offer and a food menu to keep every member of the family happy. Friday & Saturday are band nights and has such a great atmosphere! A very attentive and welcoming team, will definitely be returning.

The restaurant was busy but service was very good server Rhys was very progressional constantly tidying tables asking if all was ok happy to let us try a beer before we bought food was delicious and importantly dogs very welcome

Another great meal at The Druids Arms. I chose the steak pie with chips and peas washed down with a pint of Peroni. The pie was one of the best I've ever eaten and the gravy was super nice too.

Lunch time visit and we were greeted by friendly bar staff. Food cooked fresh to order, Fish and chips was delicious and my husband enjoyed his burger. Definitely worth a visit.

Brilliant tradional local pub in the middle of town.

1st time we visited. Amazing place, really friendly. The awesome live band played in the courtyard too. It really made the night special. Great wide selection of beers wines and spirits. The crowd seemed much older and fun. The punters were all friendly an we had a chat with a dude who was well into his Ska music about music while we quaffed bottles of Argentine Malbec from proper wine glasses. The band was well awesome and rocked us all with some pretty awesome covers. Great fun place to chill out on a Saturday night. 1000/1000 from us.

Rude bartender, shoved the card machine when it didn’t work and overall poor attitude. Shocking customer service considering local businesses are struggling to survive these days. Drank our drinks promptly and left. No atmosphere in there other than the awkward one the barman caused! Won’t go here again.

Good pub. Staff are always very polite and have good customer service. When we visited a party were in which included kids. The noise levels were incredibly high, and the parents seemed oblivious to what the kids were doing (being very loud and blocking space in front of the ladies toilets). It wouldn't put up off visiting again, but on this occasion, it did prevent us from having a nice quiet drink.

Had 1 drink then went elsewhere. It was just a stop off but will return.

Amazing visit , we were welcomed with such a friendly manner by the 2 guys working , Ron and Liam. We paid a visit Saturday afternoon as myself and my husband were meeting friends , we are so glad we chose this as our meeting spot. Liam and Ron were very attentive, always making sure we were all OK and if anything else they could get us. We will definately be back :-) .

Stumbled across this pub on an unplanned stop off in Maidstone at lunch time today. What lovely, dog friendly place. We received a very warm welcome and great refreshments shame we don’t live close by!!!

Flippin’ greeeat service - barkeeps with both speed and smiles. I especially cherished that they have good selection of beers, good food (for their price range) - our nights were graced with good live music both our visits.

Two friends and I visited for lunch as I have never really eaten here. The Druids Arms has a small menu with a good selection of fairly priced food available, staff were friendly and food of good quality. I would have rated this 5, but considering Green King are known for their ales, there were 6 ale pumps and no ale on any when visited. I would recommend eating here if you have a chance and will myself (hopefully ales available next time)

The Sunday lunch was reasonable and good value for money. Had a fab time.

Popped into the druids after a bit of retail therapy with my stepdaughter. Opted for some lunch and a couple of drinks. I want to say the staff here are amazing! Both Ron and Katie looked after us fantastically. Food was gorgeous, I had the chicken burger, and my 13 year old had the mixed small plates. Oh and nachos to start 😊 lots of food, great value, fantastic service! Will be back very soon 👍👍👍👍

Really friendly bar man who chatted to us whilst serving customers, made a great suggestion for chicken katsu burger which was amazing. Compliments to the chef! He suggested coming back for the live music on the weekend which we will definitely do. Will be back!

Always had a good time at Druids, but unfortunately one bad experience clouds the rest. Pub was quite empty and I was having drinks with my family but the kids went to Wendy's and Taco Bell for their food as they didn't fancy the pub food(which I always enjoy). When they came back we were told that we couldn't have that food in the pub, which is fair enough, but the kids had already started eating so I asked them for five minutes so they would finish off, which the server than agreed. A few minutes late a very rude bar person came to us and asked us to finish our drinks and leave. Now I thought this could've been handled a lot better, as we were spending money on drinks anyway. Its their policy I won't argue about that, but the way staff treat their customers was very poor. Lost me as a customer, for sure.

Town centre pub, hit and miss service. A few mediocre beers no cask marque certificate available... staff dismissive. Much nicer pubs in the area.

Very good selection of drinks to suit all.Had a couple of sharer snacks, a Greene King pub, but definitely a cut above. Would not hesitate to recommend a visit 👌

We were recommended this pub for lunch when we were visiting Maidstone. Absolutely fabulous salmon and cheddar fish cakes, I would definitely recommend. My husband had the 3 cheese toastie, which he said was delicious but would have been elevated even further by the addition of some onion. Great choice of beer and some very good value wines. Dog friendly too, what a find, thanks

Visited numerous times over the last few months and the service is always great. Tend to visit at lunch time during the working day. The food has been very good, the service however is what sets it apart. Used to come here regularly for nights out many moons ago... but nowadays lunch time only but it doesnt disappoint.

I visited this bar and the lad was kind of helpful but never offered anything the problem was I asked for a well.done staek and was given pink I.asked this not what I ask.for said no problem and waited 10 mins and still wasn't compensation by a drink to say sorry for the problem and left my mate on his own eating all I say is I have been to other green king pubs and they go out for the customer let down but a nice pub .

Typical English pub. Nicely refurbished with good food (take note when the kitchen shuts though). Would be better if they actually stocked the non-alcoholic alternatives advertised in the menu.
