Pret a Manger in Maidstone

Sadly, Pret has lost hhe plot. Really watery coffee out of push button machine I couldn't drink it. You've lost my custom. Such a shame.

I use the Fremlins Walk Pret once a week and find the staff, atmosphere and products great. With my mind on other things I recently had a senior moment and walked out without collecting my toasted sandwich. One of the staff (Agnes) ran after me down the Centre to give it to me. Unbearable heat in store due to not working AC. Don’t know how the staff cope as as a customer I can barely stand ten minutes inside.

Called in here for a snack lunch. Lots of choice and comfortable seating. Only one toilet on the ground floor unfotunately.

Love this pret. The staff are lovely and the coffee subscription is well worth it. Always clean and organised and happy staff. They could maybe use a ticket order system or something due to fairly often, drinks are forgotten or take a long time, forming queues of people waiting. The iced drinks could also be stirred better as there is 9 times out of 10 a lot of clumping powder at the bottom.

I come here often for a drink and snack on my break, as do many of my coworkers. I was experimenting with something new and the barista/host Kali (apologies if I got that wrong!) was so helpful, explaining what the drink was and cheerful! The drink I got was delicious and I will definitely be returning.

Yum! I went to the cinema and before that we went to Pret a Manger before that for a sandwich and a bag of crisps! Special treat!

Although I generally prefer independent cafes, Pret can be relied on for tasty food and tastycoffee every time. It is my favourite chain and I've been here countless time and yet to have anything other than a 5* expereince.

A regular at Pret in Maidstone. Good cheerful service and nice food. My only criticism is by 2pm much of the shelves are empty. If you want afternoon tea and sandwich you could be disappointed.

I usually go here for a coffee and croissant with my family and the staff are great. There seems to be a low turnover of staff here, and they really seem to take pride in their work. Been here for years and it must be good, as I prefer to support the "one-offs" for coffees.

I visited for coffee and lunch. As an NHS employee, I hold a Blue Light Card, which offers discounts in some chains. I was unsure if my card was accepted in Pret so I asked my server. He was unsure and called the Manager. They were also unsure, and hadn’t heard of the card before. The Manager said she would investigate for me, but told me that my lunch was free on that day as a gesture of goodwill! So kind! And also - they’ve got an awesome vegan range too! Win Win!

Stopped for a quick bite, good tasty wrap and coffee really good price recommended for a good break and food

I enquired whether Pret could offer me any vegan cakes, to have with our coffees. A lady, called Gita, appeared with a large file containing tick charts of all dietary categories within their products. Gita explained that they could offer me two options. She showed me the two products and checked the details again on the back of each one. I opted for the chocolate coconut bar, which was very tasty. Thank you, Gita, for looking after me.

Staff were pleasant and helpful. Coffee wasn't too bad..beats most chain coffees other than Cafe Nero. Choice of food good, but early morning range of sandwiches is limited

Enjoy going here for a coffee and love the Almond Crossiants find the sandwiches limited for me as do not eat mayo if l have a sandwich have to chose the children's as they are straight cheese or ham

This is near the main shopping area and has both a large inside and outside seating area. Always good service and has a large selection of food and drinks.

This is oone of the best outlets for a healthier meal option. The choice of food is good and it is always fresh and looks very appealing. Coffe is good as no extra charge for soya milk. Well done!

They had around 20 vegan options including desserts!!! Such as: Avocado, rocket and tomato baguette , chocolate chia pot , mango yogurt bowl , vegan 🍪 cookie!! 😁 Truly the best vegan coffee shop in maidstone!

Good choices of soup, sandwiches, salads and drinks. Fast service, nice seating, central location, average prices.

Unfortunatelly just 3 stars. Me and my husband love to come to pret and manger for breakfast but last few times we had to eat what was that time on the shelf not what we really wanted to eat . Not sure how is later but in the morning there is too small selection so even if i prefer to spend money in pret i have to choose costa because of that. Hope this will be improved soon.

A favourite spot for lunch. Although Pret is usually busy (and deservedly so), the staff are remarkably pleasant and helpful. Tables are usually cleared and wiped down as soon as they are vacated - always a good sign, I find. The sandwiches, baguettes etc are claimed to be freshly made with good ingredients - and they are!

Cleaning is not great only used this place for coffee although nice to sit and drink. The attitude in ordering was not nice and then to see disabled people can not use downstairs toilets unless they only want to wash there hand.... they had to climb 40 steps to the toilets. I was met by a soiled nappy. Shows they don't check the toilets as been there over 1 hour. And urine around the floor.

always coming here to grab sandwich for my manager and other work mates, today ive grabed some cookies for myself was so nice, also coffee is not to bad, i will start visiting this pace for myself to.

We met at 1pm, which is probably one of the busiest times, but there were 4 staff serving so there was little waiting. You choose your sandwich, wrap, salad, dessert and cold drinks from the cabinets plus any food you want heated. The staff heat what you want and do the hot drinks.

Great coffee, I had a vanilla latte, with a small chicken and rice soup we sat outside as it was a sunny afternoon

Coffee is always good, service 99% of the time is exceptional. I like this one in the afternoon, as it's usually quiet for wetting the whistle. Who could ask for more? Oh & bring back the old lemon cheesecake!!!

great spot just by the fremlin especially in the sunny weather when you get a seat outside, good coffee but also interesting range of teas, found staff to be attentive and switched on

I love Pret. It's buzzy, the staff are fast but fun, there is something for everyone. Kids, grans, office workers etc. I really enjoy their chilled coffee in the summer and their hot soups when it's colder. The choice is sanwiches and salads is varied and it changes with the seasons as does the soups. If you just want a coffe and a nibble have a pastry. They are delish.

I love preys, their Pan au raisins are to die for. Great place to,people watch . Clean and inviting .

Never understood the concept of serving half a wrapped sandwich for full price or charging more if you consume the food on the premises contrary to paying less if you take out. The food is fresh and tasty but on the occasions I have visited the tables always required cleaning.

Just wanted to say it was a great place to enjoy a quick lunch. And they had a good variety of salads that were gluten free. Good selection of teas also.

Love the selection of the tasty/healthy food, and is always a popular choice for me when I'm in town and looking for some lunch. This being said the food is well expensive for what it is.

Good place for a coffee and a sandwich to break up a day shopping. This cafe is always spotless and the staff are friendly and efficient. My husbands favourite is the Tuna Melt toasted sarnie with a skinny late while I tend to have the chicken and bacon salad sarnie with a sparkling water. All very fresh as always, which is part of Pret A Manger's policy....all the food is freshly made from the kitchen that day, nothing is kept over from the previous day. Any food they do have left over at the end of the day is given to homeless charities. What a brilliant idea, meaning very little food goes to waste - top marks
