Pret a Manger in Maidstone

Healthy food, organic coffee ☕️, spacious seats and not to loud noise for a moment to rest when shopping in Maidstone & Fremlin walks. Good price is a plus🎏

It’s very expensive and overpriced. The tea I was given it was very clear the tea bag had exploded all the tea leaves were floating at the top but they still served it to me. I asked for it to be changed which they did no problem. The sofas are well worn and cushions are all ripped. Clean baby changing facilities are provided.

Ordered from a coffee shop and didn’t deliver the coffees. Time for delivery changed many times…originally for 9:10am delivery but received at 10:23

Really poor experience, order 2 rolls and 1 drink. 45 mins after order driver still at restaurant. Finally arrives nearly an hour after order. 1 roll missing, 1 roll burnt. Check again and they have now switched the missing roll to unavailable. Didn’t even have the decency to call and ask if I wanted to swap or anything, and were happy to charge for something they didn’t have. I had to request for the refund. Very poor service

none of the food ordered cane with the order the delivery driver said that I was to ask for a refund. all I received was a cookie and hot chocolate after paying over £30 delivery and service charge included. this shouldn't have happened if they weren't making sandwiches etc. it shouldn't have allowed them to be ordered waited 45-60 minutes for hot chocolate alone having no idea we weren't going to receive the food we ordered.

Pret A Manger has been my go-to spot for my daily coffee for a while now, and I can’t recommend it enough! The coffee is always spot on, just how I like it, and the food is always fresh and tasty. But what really makes this place special is the people. The staff are so friendly and always greet you with a smile, which really brightens up my mornings. You can tell the manager has built a great team here because they all work so well together and seem genuinely happy to be there. It’s not just a coffee shop to me—it’s a place where I feel welcomed every day. If you’re looking for a cozy spot with great coffee and even better people, this is it!

Incorrect order delivered. £40 down the drain.

Awful environment to work in. You feel secluded and exploited by the team leaders on shift, and some staff members. Racist and uncomfortable environment.

I order from here most days..they are consistently good with few exceptions. They try their best to be accommodating with my iced coffee, usually making it strong as requested. Don’t know why they don’t have better reviews..I would always recommend them…much better than other places that are similar.

It's my favourite place to get a coffee ☕,it is the best coffee around, I f you haven't been there before please try you will love it, food is very good , enjoy 😊😊

Nice place for a coffee. Quick service. Bit pricey though.

Staff are friendly and welcoming. The food is very good and drinks are ok too. The only thing is the music sometimes is too loud. It's supposed to be background music but feels like your in a disco. This doesn't allow for conversations on the phone or face to face. If the music was quieter it would be better

Hi I’m Flo, today I came to the one in Fremlin Walk. I was having a chat with my Nan and one of the staff members came over in the middle of mine and my nans chat and then she raised her voice and said “get your feet of the table!” And then walked away, my feet was only the slightest touch on the table. I am very disappointed as this coffee shop was one of my favourite in my family and I’m very sorry to say but I will not be returning for a while.

Great choice of drinks and snacks. Staff were very friendly and helpful. This Pret is very close to all the shops with seating both indoors and outside..

Both coffees hadn’t had their lids put on properly so everything in the bag was soaked in coffee and inedible. The biscuit was mush, the wrap had soaked up the liquid and was disgusting as was the hot wrap. Can’t afford to order twice so I guess I’m not eating. The driver was very apologetic and pointed out that the lids were just laying on top of the cups, not pushed on, he had to wait while I got a tray to carry the bag inside…it was pouring coffee, went all over my shirt and trousers before I realised the extent of the damage. Very disappointed.

I ordered a salt beef roll and it came and the roll was only cut less than half way through sideways which meant I was getting half the filling I paid for. Photos enclosed. Terrible value.

Pret rang to say they didn’t have the sausage roll…they still charged me for it though! Told me to get a refund from just eat…thanks a lot…how about not charging for an item you don’t have? Revolutionary idea I know…but it stops your regular customers getting really PO!

Quick easy brunch to eat in or go if you're in a hurry!

The staff are always friendly and the drinks are done so fast. The Pret Club is an excellent value.

The food was absolutely fine but the serving staff were so busy talking to each other we just about got to get our order in. RUDE!! You should always engage with the customer.

Sadly, Pret has lost hhe plot. Really watery coffee out of push button machine I couldn't drink it. You've lost my custom. Such a shame.

Friendly staff, good coffee and food but I can say food a bit overpriced for the area.

I use the Fremlins Walk Pret once a week and find the staff, atmosphere and products great. With my mind on other things I recently had a senior moment and walked out without collecting my toasted sandwich. One of the staff (Agnes) ran after me down the Centre to give it to me. So a very special thank you to her. Tim

It's great having a Pret in Maidstone, and this one is a great representative for the brand. It has a warmer, more relaxed vibe than a lot of the London locations, but the consistent quality and broad selection of food and drink is still there. The indoor and outdoor seating is very pleasant, the premises are clean, the staff are friendly and it all seems well run and organised behind the counter every time I visit.

Great coffee and delicious sandwiches or croissants.

I like Pret. Good quality food, not bad prices. This one is quite large and airy.

Finally a clean bright well maintained cafe serving consistently high standard coffee and snacks. A welcome change compared to the dingy poorly maintained Nero & Costa groups. Great ethos, helpful, efficient, queues minimised, free water provided & clean cleared tables. Enjoyable. 👍

I went here last a couple of days ago and it was alright. I ordered tuna sandwich and peppermint tea. One complaint I do have is the chairs are really close together.

A typical Pret: clean, airy, quick service. Range and pricing standard. Sandwiches were predictably enjoyable. Plenty of seating. In-house toilet facilities.

Unbearable heat in store due to not working AC. Don’t know how the staff cope as as a customer I can barely stand ten minutes inside.

Called in here for a snack lunch. Lots of choice and comfortable seating. Only one toilet on the ground floor unfotunately.

Rude and pretty brash member of staff as I tried to order. I wasn't actually given time to ask for anything else before I was cut off to pay. I asked for a Mocha Frappe £3.95 BUT charged £4.45? When I queried it I was snapped at: 'because you wanted cream!' So...if you want cream make sure you take into account this mark up! It isn't shown anywhere either? Think I'll skip the dirty tables next time too!

I went into Pret to try their £1 filter coffee... it was not the best I have tasted. But what could I really expect. They where extremely quick to serve me and take payment, so would be ideal if you where in a rush.

Always a great quick lunch when out and about. Coffee is always great quality.

Changes not for the better, coffee in paper cups, heated sandwich had no plate, the only way of cutting the sandwich was with a wooden knife, which might be OK for cake, but for a sandwich with and melted cheese and ham in, not very efficient. The experience was a very messy affair. Shame because for the wife and I it used to be our favourite place.

There’s a big sign in the window saying their food isn’t made ‘miles and miles away’. So where is it made? I’m guessing not in the back of this location. Over priced little sandwiches and mediocre coffee. If you can, walk round the corner to someone’s caff and eat some real food cooked just for you, right there.

Love this pret. The staff are lovely and the coffee subscription is well worth it. Always clean and organised and happy staff. They could maybe use a ticket order system or something due to fairly often, drinks are forgotten or take a long time, forming queues of people waiting. The iced drinks could also be stirred better as there is 9 times out of 10 a lot of clumping powder at the bottom.

I have been coming to Pret A Manger for a few years, since I started working at Fremlin Walk in the past. Whenever I pass through town, coffee is always on the agenda. Conveniently placed, the location is always so vibrant, with plenty of seats available and toilets for customers too. The quality of drinks is one reason I continue to return. The main reason is pace at which the staff work. I've never seen anything like it, especially after lockdown with how many people now have subscriptions. The cohesion the staff have, and the way you feel when you've received your order definitely makes you want to return. Lot of respect to them all! Clean and tidy place, fast service and nice atmosphere. Kali, Sarita and Federica have amazing customer service skills. They bond with the clients, always smile and are willing to help! The manager sometimes gets in bad moods which can affect her communication with the customers and can be considered as rude. However, I always take my coffee from here!

Great place! great fiod and drinks a bit expensive but for regulars they have good deals check the app!

Kali is so friendly no matter how busy it is in there she always has a smile 0n her face and makes a great coffee which is handy as we are all in there 3/4 times a day. thank you from Gary and everyone at KTS

I come here often for a drink and snack on my break, as do many of my coworkers. I was experimenting with something new and the barista/host Kali (apologies if I got that wrong!) was so helpful, explaining what the drink was and cheerful! The drink I got was delicious and I will definitely be returning.

I love this place, its very covid safe, you have to sign in via the code on the tables if you want to eat in. The staff are very friendly and polite and they keep the place clean and tidy. The food and drink are delicious and freshly made that day. I know this because I've seen them bring it out from the kitchen.

My wife and I really like Pret generally but Maidstone Fremlin Walk Pret is a particular favourite. We can run along the river bank from Aylesford and look forward to a nice lunch here. The outside seating is a bonus. The staff are great. We see a lot of the same faces behind the counter and they have always been helpful and friendly.

Yum! I went to the cinema and before that we went to Pret a Manger before that for a sandwich and a bag of crisps! Special treat!

Great spot for a quick coffee. Love that you can help yourself to a glass of water. The staff were very friendly and came over with a biscuit for the children. What a lovely thing to do. Pret your staff are a lovely bunch here.

Although I generally prefer independent cafes, Pret can be relied on for tasty food and tastycoffee every time. It is my favourite chain and I've been here countless time and yet to have anything other than a 5* expereince.

Pret is ways a safe bet. Whenever I want to support a local provider I do I have to revert to pret t to get a quality cup of coffee. Thank you.

Always good, fresh sandwiches, priced still reasonably eventhough not cheap. Kids sandwiches, free tap water easily available. Good coffee.

I'm from the states and come to the UK about 5 times a year. Anytime I'm here Pret is on my list of places to stop. The espresso is nice, the sandwiches are absolutely amazing and the staff is always friendly. I recommend a vanilla soya latte and Posh cheese and pickle sandwich.
