Had a wonderful meal last night. Service was immaculate start to finish. Jelani and his team went above and beyond to ensure our anniversary meal was 1st class. Shout out to M.H who looked after us with amazing service throughout, thank you! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

I've eaten here a few times now. I really wanted to like it given its fantastic views from the 14th floor. But the food is just so disappointing. On my last visit the burger was so dry it wasn't edible. I get this is a bit dramatic, but I didn't eat it and at £14+ I expect some level of moisture. If you want to go here, just for a drink and enjoy the view.

Visited Fourteen for the first time on saturday night with 3 friends. Incredibly slow service right from the start. Pre dinner drinks took 25 - 30 minutes for every order. When we got to our table we waited over an hour for our food. Our last drinks of wine to enjoy with our meals arrived way after we finished eating. We tried to cancel them in the end but accepted the offer to have them taken off the bill. Food was very nice but service really was diabolical.

The service was impeccably the food was the best they altered our meals perfectly to suit our individual needs great place to have a beautiful meal or just drinks also very clean

On our arrival we where told to wait In the bar for our table. We end up waiting 1hour and had a phone call from the restaurant saying we are running late but we said we have been waiting 1hour for a table. In the end I went up and told the bar staff and we was them seated and the gave us a free bottle of wine and we was served by Mohammed and we can't thank him enough for his time

When I arrived I waited a long while before anyone noticed I was waiting, a polite young man Alfie Green noticed I was waiting, he was the first person to acknowledge me and proceeded to get the person that would seat me to my table unfortunately this is where the experience was let down. The woman arrived and spoke to me rather abruptly then she proceeded to seat me. The rest of night was lovely Alfie served us and was very courteous helpful & charming he’s an asset to the staff at Fourteen. The food was delicious & the view was beautiful I will return although I hope the woman that sat me to my table will be in better spirits when I return.

Came here for dinner only and wow, impressed. The food was to die for, and so filling we had no room for dessert! The views of course were gorgeous, and the staff were attentive and friendly. It was such a romantic location for dinner. I would definitely recommend for date night, if you're looking for a bit for fancy and formal!

Service and food are great, the view is a bonus

Stunned by the 5* reviews. Arrived at 8pm for an 8pm dinner reservation. No staff to greet you, you have to find your way through the rowdy bar which felt as glamorous as the waiting area in Luton airport. Announced our arrival to a disinterested waitress with a laptop who told us to go and wait in the bar area and get a drink and she’d come and get us in 10 minutes. Sat at a table in the bar as a child on the next table received a plate of chips, the aroma of which was less than delightful. After sitting there for 5 minutes a waitress took our drinks order. Not that they arrived. At 8.20 the waitress from the restaurant came over and said our table was ready - I told her our drinks hadn’t arrived so she went in search of those and then took us to the table. A monosyllabic waiter handed us the menus and the returned 2 minutes later and said “ready to order?” I ordered a glass of wine when we ordered our food. I had finished my starter and it still hadn’t arrived so I asked where it was. Food was average. Service and quality of the staff were appalling. Bar was awful. The restaurant area was quite nice. We won’t return. Rowdy people celebrating a wedding throughout the hotel and the ambience of the whole place was very downmarket. Avoid, avoid, avoid.

Such an amazing location and view completely ruined by waiting staff who are untrained and a bar service which is a joke… Ordered a glass of red during the starter to eat with the main course, it arrived AFTER the main was finished!

Mahamed was a great host, showed brilliant charisma. Very polite helped us to pick a great meal the Shepards pie recommended by him was class.

An 18th Birthday celebration ruined. Took the 18th celebration cake. Max (18) not allowed alcohol because he had no ID - only a copy of his Drivers Licence on his phone. We asked for the Manager and asked why would they not use common sense and accept Max with his parents and Grandparent wished to celebrate his 18th. He could have a glass of wine with his meal. What is acceptable about that? And not allowed Champagne or a cocktail - with his parents. If you want a celebration to be ruined - book this restaurant. You will not be disappointed.

Pros: good food, well presented and all tasted good though not exceptional. Nice atmosphere. Cons: very slow service, had to wait to be seated, then waited another 20 mins until our order was taken. The starters arrived before they brought our drinks, which I reminded them about in the end. Staff were all very pleasant, just seemed to be on the go-slow and needed some customer service training.

I booked a table next to the window because my missis had the 30th birthday.The tall manager said it's not for everyone. We got a table far away from the window. It was minimum 4 empty table till we finished.If i book next to the window and spend more then £120 pounds and there is a lot of empty space why i can not get a table there? The food was delicious.The waiters was really nice expect of this tall manager who is an unprofessional rude person.So don't waste time with the booking next to the window.Maybe he kept the tables who can pay some extra cash in his pocket.

Lovely afternoon tea today! Brilliant selection of sweet and savoury. Tea selection was also great. All good portions and no doubt you’ll find some bits to take home with you to have later on! Service was great, all staff very friendly and approachable. Just a little suggestion, I feel as if the sweet selection could do with a break down on what some of the things are? Such as the gateau opera. There was a gel type liquid in a chocolate shell which we had no idea what it actually was so a little mentioning of what it was in the menu would be nice? Maybe a little booklet explaining what each item is, what flavours etc, make it a bit more interesting as there was other flavours that I would have love to know what was in there.

My partner booked a table to surprise me for my 30th birthday. He called the restaurant, asked if its possible to have a seat next to the window, and he has been advised that would not be a problem. After arrival, the manager escorted us to a table that was far away from the window. We have asked him if it would be possible to sit to another table, as it a special occasion and it has been booked. He said thats not possible tonight, but they are trying to sit customers next to the window most of the times. We have seen a table completely empty next to the window, but we have been told that we cant move there. This is not down to availability, its down to how you treat other human beings. I dont think we will be back here. Serving was very slow too. We can spend our money elsewhere…i wish we have walked out when he didnt let us sit elsewhere.

Fabulous views of MK from the fourteenth floor, which is taken up by a restaurant and bar. The restaurant side has the better views of open countryside, whilst the bar overlooks the imposing MK shopping mall and its (ugly) car park. There is a good selection of cocktails (priced at £14), wines and beers. We visited on a Sunday so the menu in the restaurant was roasts, plus a few other options. The portion sizes were very generous and the ingredients were of good quality. After a hard day of retail therapy, it is the perfect place to relax with a cocktail and then have a decent meal before heading back to the M1 and home.

Our lovely waiter Mohammed gave us a premium dining experience, although it may seem a bit pricy, the views and experience you receive make it well worth the cost. Next time we come we hopefully will receive the privilege of such an amazing waiter again. Another thing to mention, the restaurant kindly offered us a free dessert after mentioning it was our daughters gcse results day. I love this restaurant with all my heart, and would rather end up here after death over heaven.

Went to the first day of afternoon tea Stunning surroundings and found Two minor moans - had to wait quite a while to be greeted and seated on arrival when the restaurant was not very busy Good wise beautiful but the salmon wraps were a bit chunky and out of place among the other delicate sandwiches and rolls But overall a thoroughly enjoyable afternoon

Greating was warm and welcome services bland after that had to poor own wine knives forks not polished music inappropriate definitely hadn't been thought about food bland peppercorn sauce was gravy didn't tip as £20.00 service charge shame

I’ve had dinner with my boyfriend celebrating 4 years together. The staff gave us a table just next to the window to enjoy the beautiful view from above. The food, the drinks and the desserts were great. And the best part was when the lady bring us a plate with “Happy anniversary!” written on it. I would definitely recommend. It’s a nice atmosphere.❤️

We celebrated my mother in law’s 60th birthday here, expecting a luxurious and welcoming experience, but was deeply disappointed by their attitude towards families with young children. My 19-month-old daughter, like many toddlers, has her own preferences, including her favorite homemade pizza, which we brought along. To our surprise, the restaurant refused to warm it up for her. This small act of kindness would have gone a long way in ensuring a pleasant dining experience for everyone, but instead, we were met with an unyielding policy. As if that wasn't enough, when my daughter became understandably moody due to hunger, we tried to soothe her with a show on our phone. Within moments, Sonia approached us and asked us to turn down the volume (which wasn’t even that loud. I think it was at 50). While I understand the need for a peaceful dining environment, their approach felt unaccommodating and out of touch with the realities of dining out with a toddler. For a restaurant that brands itself as "luxurious," I would expect a higher level of customer service and flexibility, especially towards families. If they wish to enforce such strict policies, they should consider making the establishment adults-only. As it stands, I would not recommend this place to anyone with young children. If you value a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere, look elsewhere. I also have to mention that the food was average. The cocktails were very nice and the fact that we were allowed to bring our own cake.

Amazing experience at Fourteen. Our server was Dominick and I couldn’t have asked for better service! Recommended lovely wine to pair with the mains with great knowledge. Will definitely be back soon!

Visited this restaurant, lovely atmosphere, great ambience, lovely food , the highlight for me were the staff…they are so amazing, very friendly, eager to help, so patient, always smiling, customer service is 100% I RECOMMEND!!!!!

We have had many wonderful dining experiences in this restaurant but today we were very disappointed. To begin many of our drinks choices were unavailable. The starters were variable, the beetroot, goats cheese and walnuts was a plate of beetroot with a few crumbs of cheese and a couple of walnuts, the prawn cocktail was very basic with small flavourless prawns. The mains came in bits, they were all luke warm, two of the roast chickens had no stuffing one did, we waited ages for the horseradish sauce, they said they couldn't find cranberry but it did arrive later. A Yorkshire pudding got dropped on the floor and we had to wait for another one. My son had three what appeared to be stones in his meal, they were rock hard, luckily he didn't break a tooth, we were told they were lumps of garlic cooked with the roast potatoes and should not have been served with the meal. We were given a reduced bill but by that time we really didn't feel like desserts, and my birthday meal had been spoilt. We have enjoyed so many birthday and anniversary meals at this restaurant and the view is wonderful, but I not sure I want to go back for a meal there.

Food is always 10/10 when I go here, staff are so incredible friendly and just positive energy all round. Always going to be coming back for sure !

The view from the window is absolutely stunning. The atmosphere is casual and fun. The food is also delicious. The only bad thing was that when I first ordered champagne, it took a long time to cool down. Chill the champagne in the refrigerator.

View and ambience is amazing, as good as you will get in Uk. Drinks are slow and messy, not much better than a teenage club but priced at London level. Food is pub standard charged at sub-London prices. The sharing starter looks like it’s from Avanti train food coach C. Meat is dry. Salad tastes worse than Tesco. Service staff seem disinterested as the night gets late. Our coffee was cold by the time it got to us. It stood there and no one wanted to carry it over

Have visited here twice First time everyone was dressed up Atmosphere was sophisticated Food was tasty Service was lovely Second time Got fleeced with a £5 bottle of water at 750ml before I could verbalise TAP she was gone and back and had opened bottle and it was for my mums birthday so did not want to make a fuss The food was poor second time round and in my opinion its massively overpriced and in my opinion the burgers at harvester are far superior and tastier Paid over the top for a cheese and tom pizza for daughter and dough was tough Wine is expensive Tables far to close together , could have adjusted my seat slightly to the left and I would have been with the 3 women next to us! People no longer dressed up smart but dining in trackies and sliders so no longer felt like a bougie place to be but a dressed up pub Sorry sky bar but this is honestly my opinion I would not recommend

Food was tastless and bland. We booked fine dining for 2 and the table was squeezed between other tables, difficult to get in and out, and was able to overhearing conversation. Lacks hospitality and felt not being welcomed.

incredible staff!!! so kind, really amazing food and drinks but service is very poor sadly :,( i understand they can get busy however we were waiting for sauce until our meals were cold :/. again lovely staff just unfortunate it can be a bit slow (it gets busy)

Went there for lunch during Traditional Sunday Roast. There was relaxing live music and great views during spotless weather. Food was high quality and enjoyable. I'll be visiting again to try different dishes.

Everything was perfect during my lunch at the Fourteen sky bar. The linguine was divine and the views are just magnificent. The waiters, although quite young, were very professional and hospitable.

Set amongst the panaoramic views, we had an absolutely fabulous birthday lunch in the restaurant here recently. Staff are marvellous, the Champagne is excellent and the Steaks are good.

We were looking for a place serving brunch. The restaurant unfortunately don't serve brunch but they offered us to sit in the bar instead so we can have drinks and desserts. The view is amazing. You can see all Milton Keynes from the four sides of the restaurant. Sitting area is comfy and staff are friendly and welcoming. The cake i had is not great however, my wife's and daughter's desserts was really delicious so overall experience deserves putting ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I had such a good time at this restaurant! My waiter Mohammed was so nice and accommodating and gave me the best service. The food and drinks was also very nice, and my lovely waiter Mohammed recommended the fries which were amazing! I highly recommend this place if anyone wants to experience fine dining in Milton Keynes.

Cocktails are amazing! Food is fresh and plenty to choose from. As for the views, amazing!

I took my Mum here for a late Mother's Day gift before we saw a show at the theatre. The view from our table was lovely and I could not fault the food at all. The onion and cider soup to start was amazing just needed bread to go with it but luckily my mum had plenty with hers😁

I had a lovely time at the lounge served by Lovely Karen her customer service is top notch.

I didn't eat there, but it's a great bar, with fantastic views over Milton Keynes. Bit pricey at £6.90 a pint, but nice place to visit now and again. If the beer came down to £6 a pint I'd go more often.

Excellent dinner at 14. Very 'big city' feel for our little MK. Great views over Cambell park and beyond. Food was very good, as was the service.

I recently visited Fourteen Restaurant and Bar in Milton Keynes and had a great meal and dining experience. Situated on the fourteenth floor of Hotel La Tour, it boasts a beautiful viewpoint of the surrounding county. It was busy, usually a good sign, but the view alone is a big drawcard. For entrees, we ordered the mackerel and terrine - the presentation and flavours in both were clever and well balanced. They do a Beef Wellington for two, a dish now synonymous with Australia’s Erin Patterson, and given we were talking about the case on the way to dinner, we put the ominous convergence and sinister synchronicity aside, it leapt off the menu and so we decided we had to try it. I am pleased to say the kitchen and staff don’t rely solely on the views to impress, the food and service were great. The staff were incredibly friendly and efficient, gave good suggestions and were mindful we had a theatre show to get to. Their wine list could do with some better selections, but the range of beers, cocktails and spirits was more than adequate - and I’d suggest a better choice. On the whole - it was, a great place for a memorable view and dining experience. After dinner, we headed to the Theatre across the road to watch the hilarious Frankie Boyle. I was glad to return later for some delicious cheesecake and a few yummy shots while looking out over Buckinghamshire and Bedfordshire’s nightscape - it was a perfect end to the evening.

Amazing views, food and drinks. Fantastic service. Only one small recommendation, the trees would look so romantic and classy with a few fairy lights in them during the evening. Honestly, one of my fave restaurants in Milton Keynes. I'll be back 😎

This is a great venue. Located on the 14th floor, the whole of MK is underneath you with such a fantastic view. Food and service were great.

My husband and I popped into the bar for a drink, we hadn’t been before and decided to book a table to have some food. Nathan served us and was absolutely super, he was attentive, informative and very personable. The other staff working were also very helpful and polite, we haven’t experienced such wonderful service in a very long time. The steak was really well cooked and chicken dish tasty, fresh and seasonal. We would most defiantly recommend and think Nathan deserves a BIG well done for being a great waiter :-)

The quality of the food was poor for an expensive price tag. You mainly pay for the veiw. But fyi at night, you really cant see it either. Ordered a mocktail that was not very nice. Returned it back but they brought it back with added fruit pulp and not a lot had changed. Had the turkey with was nice but the vegetables weren't cooked very well. One of the servers we had was quite rude and wasn't very accommodating. Disappointed after paying over £100 for 2 of us. Would not recommend.

Came for an early Mother’s Day lunch. Was really lovely, was a bit worried after reading some reviews but surprised by them as I could find no fault. Great table with a lovely view, I had braised ox cheeks for main, spiced pudding and chocolate torte for dessert, all generous portions and all very delicious. Great bottle of Malbec, followed by coffees. Waitresses were polite and not pushy. We didn’t feel rushed. Will definitely return

Had a fantastic dinner at Fourteen. This is one of only a handful of restaurants in Milton Keynes offering such a sophisticated grown up ambiance with quality food and drinks and was great for Date Night. Our waitress Rebeka looked after us so well. We will definitely be coming back

The food, service and atmosphere were (mostly) excellent. Just a couple of improvements. 1. Stop nagging to confirm my booking. It's rude. 2. We had one waitress. Why when we got the dessert menus did we have three separate members of staff ask us if we wanted dessert in the space of about a minute? 3. The cheese board needs to come to room temperature. (you could also do a smaller portion. That was a lot of cheese) 4. Why when there were empty tables by the window, that were empty for the whole 3 hours we were there, did the table behind us get told they couldn't sit in the window? So, for the most part it was excellent. Just a couple of tiny improvements to make it perfect. Also, the El Coco Margarita was sublime.

You’re paying for the views to be really honest. Food was average, service wasn’t wonderful. We had a waiter called Nathan who was absolutely lovely! Went above and beyond. However the manager Victoria, had such a stink attitude, and even when we tried to address it, she was rude and dismissive. Probably not somewhere to return to but worth the views!

Amazing view and atmosphere, food was good. Service was good but mistakes were made on my bill to include more items than we ordered. Particularly unfriendly attitude from Victoria which made our overall experience unpleasant.

London prices and worth it! Superb restaurant on the top floor of the LaTour Hotel. Beautiful inside with fabulous views, top notch service with sumptuous food. We had fresh breads and olives to nibble, fillet steak (medium rare) with parmesan fries, turkey paupiette. A large glass of wine, bottle of beer and service charge came to £99.

beautiful place, nice atmosphere, friendly service. a table decorated with rose petals, champagne, chocolates and a rose. The food is very tasty, the menu is not very extensive but there is something for everyone. I recommend it for a romantic evening or to go out with family or friends

Only went for drinks so can't comment on the food. £14 a cocktail in a roof top bar isn't bad but it's still in Milton Keynes. However the cocktails we tried were a little disappointing. Staff are friendly, but it doesn't feel particularly special, short that fact you're high up.

First time visiting for a birthday meal. Very nice atmosphere and lovely meal. Lovely menu, didn’t make it to desert, but were given a lovely chocolate brownie as a birthday treat. Excellent waitressing by Sophia. Have booked to return for our anniversary in June. Now I know how lovely it is, will return before June as close to home. Thank you

Me and my girlfriend went here for Valentine's Day. From the moment we got there the atmosphere and lighting was perfect. It is well decorated we arrived early and had a drink before our table was ready talking in the view. I got a rogue option being a fish pie to have something different for a change and my misses got the steak. The fish pie was outstanding one for the best I've ever had reminded me of my childhood. The fillet steak was cooked medium rare just how she liked it and was the best she's had in a long time and she loves steak. Unfortunately we filled up on bread and alcohol so couldn't make it to desert but there's always next time. Will definitely revisit The whole experience made it one of our favourite valentines to date. The young waitress with blondish hair (I didn't get the name) that was so attentive to us and was very down to earth so thank you to her also.

This is invariably a coveted spot providing one of the best views within Milton Keynes. On a clear day you can see beyond the pyramid over to the canal and beyond. Although I only stopped in for a coffee the service was friendly and very professional which encouraged me to visit again. The atmosphere was relaxed and surprisingly laid back. It was nice to see a range of people from diners and those having coffee to those celebrating birthdays.

Such a lovely and welcoming evening,first time coming here. Madona was a brilliant waitress and helped us very much especially recommending a very good quality wine. Amazing tasty food and steak, Amazing service, very friendly will definitely come again& recommend to friends.

visited twice, once in August 2023 and the other last night. The location is lovely but the service is shockingly poor. There are several staff who just walk around, and fold napkins constantly, they are unaware of the tables and who is waiting to order. On both occasions we were sat waiting for a long time to order, could even see our drinks sat on the side of the bar for over 20 minutes. Such a shame because it’s a lovely location and the drinks are nice!

Amazing service with Madona, Amazing starters with truly well balanced Gravelax and out of this world main of Filo goat cheese and red pepper etc.. one of the truly memorable experience for someone who has travelled the world over and fine dinned in the best places. The dinner was a triumph. Keep the good work for next time around.

I had was the Salmon and berry blush drink and that was great lastly me and my friends loved our waiter Loannis! He really made the experience much better

A lovely evening with wonderful cocktails and amazing food. We had the steak and oxcheek and they were both delicious! Our waiter, Ebin, was very friendly and made us feel very welcomed. Looking forward to coming back again soon.

I had the duck to start with followed by Ox Cheeks (melted in the mouth) it was an amazing meal 😋 will definitely go back.

Broken display screens, drink tables not cleared, drinks waiters who won’t leave the bar and take your order. Food orders being delivered at the same time (nibbles and starters) and our table was so close to the desk that we were under the bright lights and my “magnificent” view was just the folders and their computer screens.

We had dinner here many times and we enjoyed everything. Highly recommended

Came for a couples night out and was served by Bobby. He was excellent all night! Couldn’t fault him and he was always attentive. We will definitely be coming back.

Firstly the food, we had tasted absolutely amazing, and the service was also incredible, they even surprised us with a little cake saying happy anniversary which we didn't need to ask for, it just cane up in casual convo with one of the workers.

Horrible customer service. This is my 3rd time visiting this restaurant and for every time I have experienced bad customer service from the staff! We had made a reservation here months prior and for unforeseen circumstances were running late, we tried to call to advise...

Wonderful place to stay for a few days. So convenient for all the Milton Keynes shops and surrounding points of interest.

We were staying here and went up to the restaurant for food and drinks, it was amazing!! We were served by Nathan and he couldn’t do enough for us, he was so welcoming and so lovely, so genuine it made our evening that much better...

We came in for some drinks and were served by Dom. his customer service was excellent and he made sure we were okay at all times.

We have a lovely time and we’ve been served by Ebin. He was very polite and helpful despite the food wasn’t as good as expected(been there in November and they’ve changed the menu). Service by Ebin was exceptional. Well done!

Very good place, the menu is fairly limited however the items offered are all great so in terms of food that’s being offered no complaints , just the variety.
