We love this local pub and hope the new managers make a success of it. We have eaten here and the food was nice pub grub but we will try the roast as they are getting great reviews. Our only criticism is that since the pub has been refurbished it really lacks warmth and ambience. The lighting is very bright and no pictures on the walls or lamps - it is no longer a cosy place you would sit for hours. Before they opened they had lovely hanging baskets too but not sure what happened to them.

We had a lovely time at The Three Belles today. The food was impeccable, so much to choose from and everything ordered was cooked to perfection and incredibly tasty. We all had full tummies and left very happy. The service was outstanding, Tony & Nicki gave us the best service, so friendly and inviting! Could not have asked for a better family Sunday afternoon. I highly recommend this establishment, you will not leave disappointed! They catered to my toddlers every whim and need which is so very appreciated. Thank you guys, we’ll be back to visit when we’re next up this way!

We took over half of the pub to celebrate our parents 50th wedding anniversary and it was a fantastic venue! The manger and staff really were amazing and couldnt do more to help us make the night a success! The Manager was great and they let us decorate the whole place and really make it our own. I couldn’t recommend the Eight Belles more!

Used to love it here. It looks untidy from the outside and grubby on the inside. I thought when the new owners established themselves they would bring it back to life. So sad. We are locals and would rather travel elsewhere - says a lot. Had to wait. While for the, to even find wine. Really gone downhill.

Recently refurbished, this is an even nicer pub now, whether you’re looking for just drinks or a decent meal. There’s loads of space inside with large tables for groups plus a sizeable garden area where you can also order food. In the summer it’s great sitting outside and despite being on the main road it’s still relaxing. Inside there’s plenty of screens for watching sport and everywhere is clean, including the toilets which are pretty nice. The range of drinks offered is good and the prices reasonable for the setting. Bar staff are nice, there’s never too long a wait for service and it’s got a friendly welcoming vibe. It’s a great asset to the area and I highly recommend popping by!

Now re-opened under new management, so I dropped in for a pint and a bite. Choice of three (draught) beers, but all similar to each other, so had two different kinds of Fuller's beers and both were well-kept and quite drinkable. For food I chose fish & chips with mushy peas. Freshly-cooked and quite pleasant - a good-size piece of fish, with crispy batter, though the fish flesh wasn't as firm as I'd expect; "proper" chips wre well cooked and very nice; mushy peas nothing special. Laurie Lee (named after her mother's love of "Cider with Rosie") was very pleasant and gave us quick service. A pleasant experience but nothing exciting.

Went on opening night under new management, pub was busy as had been shut a while for refurb.. Issues with electrics meant glass washer broke and rather than use disposables the decision was made to shut the pub at 9.00 p.m. Despite being really busy, bit of a waste of return taxi there and then onto another pub. Service slow but to be fair to the management they probably didn't expect it to be that busy as they had an opening event the following the night. Other than garden being a bit bigger and a lick of paint couldn't see much difference but didn't go right round to the lounge side as it was a nice evening.

So I went into this pub on a Friday afternoon to see a couple of mates and the car park was really busy so I just about found a space. A week later I get a parking fine of £100 because apparently you are supposed to go to the desk and put in your number plate to get free parking? One of the signs is high above the entrance one so you don’t have time to read it because you are pulling in off of a main road and the other signs in the car park are completely covered once cars are parked up to them which is what it’s like when it is a little busier! So don’t get caught out by this scamming place, clearly they can’t make enough money over the bar with there drinks and food because it’s all horrible so they have to try and make some money through the customers that aren’t regulars and will get caught out by this parking system!

Arriving at 4 PM and food not being served til 5 PM, the owner graciously offered to fire the kitchen up early. We had one of the BEST burgers yet on our trip in England. The Pub atmosphere was festive and neighborly; we felt right at home. He also recommended a Rhubard Gin and Tonic which was top-notch. He gave directions to where the special gin could be purchased and we will now enjoy that spirit back in the US. This is a 10-min walk from Bletchley Park and a better start or end to your visit than the somewhat ropey food at the Bletchley Park Museum. I would suggest park at Bletchley Park and walk to the pub, it's not too far. The food is pub-fayre but good and massive portions. Halloumi burger is great, but so is the regular burger judging from my colleagues verdicts. Friendly and helpful staff made the whole experience enjoyable.

Its a pub car park not a block of offices or residents parking. This is so sad. At no time did the staff draw this matter to our attention. It was April the 1st and Easter Sunday! My wife and I visited for Sunday lunch on 30th July and although, initially, we were the only people there we really did enjoy ourselves. Atmosphere is good with background music and friendly staff. We opted for two courses for £12-95 I think it was but we were not very imaginative as we both opted for Prawn cocktails to start and Roast Chicken. The other roast was Beef today. The prawn cocktails were the best we have tasted since visiting this establishment for some reason and does show they are always made fresh. The chicken roast dinners are what I would term 'home made' as look like my Mum would have made with lovely vegetables. home made roast potatoes, yorkshire puddings and gravy served separately in a gravy boat. We absolutely loved the food and will be returning again very soon.

We decided to come here for lunch as the food looked like it could be good from previous reviews. Our Party of 6 consisted of 2 teachers, a PLC Finance Director, Accountant and 2 children. After a bit of a walk from the train station we had arrived a bit before opening (mid-day) . As we were a bit early we sat in the 'beer garden' which is wooden tables next to the road (fenced off), and a television in a protective cover. The staff were bobbing in and out preparing etc and then they opened up at 12 noon. At this point the landlord refused to even let us in, with the pub literally empty. We were told to "get out and go the pub down the road under the bridge". We ended up getting a cab and going to the Red Lion in Fenny Stratford which was like chalk and cheese (friendly landlord and landlady and a much better location by the canal). What a way for a business to treat people. Apalled.

Had heard about this event via social media and was excited to try it. The hype led us to believe the place would be packed and pies in short supply. What a joke. The place was empty when we turned up for our booking, which is just as well as I dread to think how BAD the service would've been if our "waiter" had had more customers to serve. As it was, we never saw him, and had to go to the bar three times to get any service while he walked past us talking on his phone with his coat on, clearly in a hurry to leave. All this could be forgiven if the food was amazing, but it wasn't. The pies are tiny and barely filled, the mash is unseasoned and lumpy, and don't get me started on the grey slop they had the nerve to call liquor.Dude, your chef needs a trip to a real cockney shop ASAP.

Went for lunch recently. It's a nice pub for a drink and they should be commended on the renovations but the food is not of a high standard. We were served by a very friendly lady. It's okay for a drink.

I've never eaten such a tasteless & bland pie in all my life. The pie's are fairly small with not that much filling and what filling there is was utterly tasteless, not even the pastry could make up for the total disappointment which was also bland thinking about it. I honestly couldn't find one thing to like about that meal. The so called liquor was also tasteless, having not tried it before thought i would give it a go... big mistake that just totally ruined an already dreadful pie, the mash was really lumpy which i didn't mind really as it gave the meal some substance. The staff are friendly however and the beer is pretty good. I could be tempted to try eating off the main menu but will stay away on Pie & Mash nights, get yourself a Pukka pie & chips if that's really what your after.

Went on the day of the burger and ale festival and they were cooking up a range of very cheap burgers with some exotic options like zebra from only £4. Fairly standard pub with plenty of TVs showing football, including one outside.

I love the 1940's feel of this pub with the decor and music aimed at tying in with the history of Bletchley as the home of the Codebreakers. This is a really clever move and so different from some pubs in MK and this area. This pub would definitely benefit from more events that fit with that theme and to not lose that distinct element of its charm. Food great. Only thing I would say is perhaps more events that are tailored to Bletchley's history i.e. jazz or Lindy hop events and also some local ales on tap i.e. Station X that was produced for Bletchley Park.

We popped in for lunch on a quiet weekday and ordered a ploughmans and bangers and mash, both of which were very good. High end pub grub rather than gastro pub, which is what we prefer. We were shown to our table and served drinks without having to go to the bar. Very friendly service without being intrusive. The 40s decor is well done in that it isn't over the top and the eating area was well furnished and clean. The music wasn't too loud, so we could happily hold a conversation. This pub is now definitely on our (short) list of places we will be returning to.

A few days ago we visited Bletchley Park and afterwards checked on TA for somewhere local to eat. Firstly we went to The Inn on the Lake but our party of five were put off immediately by the brusque and off-hand manner of the proprietor; he obviously feels he has enough custom not to bother being polite so we made a quick exit and checked the next place on the list which was The Eight Belles. Thank goodness we did as we had a fabulous meal. We skipped starters and went straight into mains which were two ribeye steaks with herby fries, one fish and chips and two enormous burgers which are home made and one of which must have been nearly six inches high! Our steaks were cooked to perfection and had a gorgeous flavour and I agree with Deborah S., the fries were lovely. Don't be put off if you enter from the car park and you are faced with a crowd of loud men playing darts and a television on one wall, we nearly turned round at this point but being hungry we looked further round the other side of the bar and found a cosy round table tucked away in a little alcove where we weren't bothered by the noise in the bar at all, it was like a little private dining room. Dan (one of the owners) couldn't have been more helpful and attentive without being obsequious. He was friendly and funny and made us want to come back, such a shame it's a bit too far to just pop along to.

We went yesterday , a day trip to Bletchley Park followed by a visit to this lovely wee place. I'd checked before on Tripadvisor ( as I always do) regarding the reviews and we were not disappointed !The staff were so friendly and we were well looked after from the moment we walked through the door. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble either, a rarity nowadays. We had the best Halloumi stater that Ive ever had and I could have eaten it twice given how tasty it was , however as we had opted for the Ribeye and herby fries , we waited expectantly and sure enough it was awesome. Lovely and chargrilled on the outside and fell apart on the inside - delicious ! and the herby fries were the best my partners ever had in a pub restaurant so high praise indeed !.. We followed that with a very luscious and gooey warm chocolate brownie and mint choc icecream and then waddled back to our car ready for the trip home :-)I cant recommend this place highly enough - lovely decor, very attentive and friendly staff and the food was an excellent standard. We wouldn't hesitate to go back . Enjoy ;-)

We thought we would try somewhere new as our local has been having staffing issues recently and we had read the Eight Belles was making an effort. Very glad we went, the bar is well decorated, the beer (while not a big selection) was fine, the staff were all extremely pleasant and the food was very nice. It's surprisingly hard to find places that do an omelet so we both had one and they were very good, the rest of the menu looks good so we'll try something else next time. And we will be going again.

We held the after celebrations for our daughters christening here and it was fab! From booking to the day it was easy and relaxed. We booked on the recommendation of a friend and after having a look ourselves. Having lived in Bletchely for 8 years we know it hasn't always had the best reputation. But lately it has had a great one. I'm so glad we considered it. The function room is the main dining area which was shut of for us with a lovely vintage type screen/doors. Which meant the area was just ours, with own section of bar, own toilets and entrance/exit doors. Free of charge! The decor is lovely especially for a pub. It has a very warm yet vintage feel. The staff and owner are stars! The owner had a bad week himself yet still gave us his full attention and ensured everything was perfect for us and our guests arrival after the service. We had a buffet done and it was fab. Even with me notifying 2 days before that I had a guest with a severe nut allergy, this was no trouble.A friendly, warm and genuine place. Amazing food and lovely genuine staff. I literally could not fault anything. It's just a shame the garden area isn't bigger if I had to be picky.Thank you!

Went for lunch to try out the new menu today, went with some work colleagues, I had the beef hotdog with brisket not something I've ever had before, I am really fussy with meat but having eaten here lots of times I knew the standard of meat served is excellent and true to form it was amazing, the hotdog was huge and extremely tasty, overflowing with meat, that big I gave my colleagues a taster and they will be ordering next time as it was a big hit with them . The herby fries are an excellent accompaniment and are great for mopping up the lovely juices from the brisket, had planned to put the homemade slaw into the hotdog but it wouldn't fit. Definitely recommend for lunch or dinner, staff are friendly, service is great and nothing is too much trouble, keep it up guys

Have visited on two occasions with my sisters. Once on a Monday evening and once on a Tuesday lunchtime to enjoy a childhood favourite meal of Pie and Mash. It did not disappoint and it evoked many memories for us. On both occasions the Staff were very friendly and efficient. The Manager could not have been more helpful and enthusiastic about his Pub and what they are trying to achieve. My Son has been with his friends and really enjoyed it. My husband is now very keen to visit. Will let you know when we have sampled the other meals on offer. Do call in advance if you are ordering Pie & Mash.
