Costa in Milton Keynes

they always forget to give a straw !

When I put my order in it at 09.19 said 20-30 minutes. I waited. It was delivered at 10.37! No way of getting hold of the driver to see what’s going on! No communication.. This is not great customer service at all…

What a shambles in this costa today. Not that busy but the young lad on the til should not have been on his own. He didn't charge for the coffee so I told him I needed to pay ( many wouldn't have) and the cake order was missed and when it came it was wrong !

Great service. Friendly, positive and enthusiastic staff makes me coming back.

It would be really helpful if costa in Kingston could let you know if a product ordered is not available so that an alternative can be chosen. My local costa coffee shop does this but I can’t order online from them at the moment because latte for some reason is not available to order online???

Ordered iced drink and there are no straws

Service a bit slow compared to other Costas I use, but friendly. Coffee great. Can be cold and draughty both in outside seating and inside near doors. Otherwise, usual great products.

Quite honestly, I'm not a massive fan of Costa coffee. Not that I don't like it. I just don't go very offenders and on there I put 3 for each one because I don't know so it's not fair to. I need to say either way why am I in the top 10% of people? Who anyway take a job?

The tortilla in the breakfast wrap was slightly stale and the bap around the sausages was like a brick. It needed to be replaced with our own bread!

Lovely and quiet. Must have been the time of day. Always good coffee.

I came in to get a coffee and something to eat. In a lot of Costas I’ve been to have the food covered. Mainly to prevent it from drying out. This place everything is open. And I witness flies on the food. It interesting that they don’t have their hygiene rating on display. I wonder why.

Staff too concerned with leaving promptly than providing a comfortable service. Walked out

Always seems to have everything Costa does, staff come across as helpful,keen and even if busy seem to keep things moving at a good rate. May not be the largest branch around but just has enough room to sit if you wish with some tables placed outside within the Kingston centre. Not a bad option if in the area

no fruit bread. brown bread. no tea. No Tea !?!?

We took our trainee service dog into the cafe and was made most welcome by the barista. Our dog did accomplish a settle and was quite happy. Thank you

Nowhere to sit as a two thirds of tables littered with past customers cups. Walked out and eat elsewhere. An hour later walked back past it and still unclean. Shoddy

Popped in here before the 5 hour journey home. Friendly staff. Cosy

Great place to buy a coffee and a snack as it's inside the Kingston Centre, it can get a little bit busy and noisy at the weekends - enjoy ☕🍪

Useless - 3 times in the last week we have placed orders for delivery from this store - we ordered mango and passionfruit coolers and instead got something completely different and items missing - either the staff in there don’t know what their own items are - or they think they can send something you didn’t ask for regardless. Needless to we won’t be wasting our money with them again

Fantastic service. The girl with the platted hair was amazing. I didn't understand how the app worked with the free item for a birthday. This girl sorted it quickly and effectively without a problem. She then assisted another customer without hesitation. I have not seen her before but she has great customer service. The other staff I have encountered before are also super at a fast paced job.

Very poor service. On the board tehy advertising bap for £2 with any medium or large drink, unfortunately I had to pay full price for my meal.

Ordered via Deliveroo. No issues. Came quickly and correctly as ordered. Food is nice as any Costa goes. Inside also found staff to be friendly and they have very good Wi-Fi. Lots of parking outside. Good place

Absolute S#@T 1st time in a Costa and the last! Coffee had no taste what so ever and the manageress was very rude and unhelpful. Want a coffee make your own

When I entered there was a queue of about 5 customers including myself. Was served quite quickly, ordering an Iced Cappuccino. Took about 5 minutes to get my drink. Was going to use their indoor seating, but the inside of this Costa was a bit to warm, for a warm summer's day, so chose to use the seating out the store (which is inside the Kingston Centre). Table was sticky, so didn't stay there long before leaving.

We were struggling to figure out what it was my partner wanted. The staff member was very rude.

I have tried this costa coffee quite a few times but sadly I won't be spending my money in this costa anymore.In the last few months,always a sign up dishwasher is broken,they will be serving in takeaway cups or you get told at the till. I'm sorry but I like my coffee in a cup not a takeaway cup,its just doesn't taste the same.Their has been several occasions where I have ordered a skinny flat white,at 1 point there were 3 different members of staff trying to get the coffee right,none of them succeeded, finally a manager made me one.1 member of staff tried to say you cannot get the consistency right with skimmed milk.If that the case,then why sell it.The staff always look unhappy apart from 1 member of staff I have seen now and then,another 1 of them just looks like she just can't be bothered.I don't have this problem in any other costa .Why is your dishwasher constantly breaking down ? They are always advertising for staff with would seem no one stays at this costa.I have paninis in this costa that are always over cooked.I have been a fan of costa for years but I will be using the other costa in MK,this is a review for the last 6 months which I have noticed about the place .In that time nothing has improved.

Used to go here for years but stopped now due to place being very untidy, last few years it’s just been going downhill, you sit on a table and it’s full of left over cups and rubbish left from previous customers but nobody comes to clean it so I end up moving it to the table along. Costa you’re charging £3 for a cup of coffee, you want costumers to queue up for up to 20min sometimes to order that coffee to then sit on a dirty table and let the customer clean as well? What kind of service is that? In Europe you sit on the clean table, the waiter comes to your table takes the order brings your coffee and then when your finished you call him over and pay them…… that’s the kind of service I want if you want me to pay for your rip off £3 coffee. Start offering table service or at least clean them tables. Shocking costa

This is our favourite local Costa coffee shop, Staff are always super friendly and welcoming. It’s very clean, we often see a staff member cleaning and sweeping while we are in there. It’s always well stocked for sandwiches and cakes. We really enjoy our regular visits. Thank you Costa Kingston staff for looking after us.

Now, I do like a Costa when out shopping and my son has begun looking forward to their Gingerbread cookies. We were there just before Christmas 2021 and they must've been over run by Christmas shoppers because they had no Gingerbread cookies and the outside tables looked like they hadn't been cleaned for a while. Other than that (slightly expected) let down the service was up to the usual professional standards you can expect from the Costa Barista's. They were cheerful and welcoming which is amazing at the later time we were there. P.S: My son enjoyed a chocolate orange muffin instead so he is still happy 😊

Waiting for ever! Think again! Wating in a Costa queue is part of my way of life and usually it"s worth it. It takes time and care to make exceptional coffee. But when the staff decide to completely stop service and work solely on "internet" orders (their word), including at least one order arriving after I had reached the till then something's wrong. Or perhaps fhey are just instducted to work that way., after all, maybe that"s the future.. I waited 15 minutes at the till to be served, the person behind me had already left the shop after 10 minutes. Come on Costa if prioritising internet orders is your planned future, tell us and we"ll make our own decisions. And in case you think this is from someone who isn"t a regular, I am, but maybe I'll rethink  that.

It's. Okay once you been to one Costa you been to them all. I don't get why the coffee is so hot. You can't drink it for 20 mins and if your in a rush it's hopeless

It's Costa. The brand is tight, whatever Costa you visit the product is the same, just as we like. The staff sparkle here.

Small Costa café within Kingston shopping centre. Girls are always nice and helpful. Bit too small choice of cakes and cookies, that's why 4stars only. But I still like it for the atmosphere.

Order was wrong, never get out receipt with loo code on as keeping one locked for staff, did open the 2nd toilet when asked but weren't happy about it. Pretty hostile.

Friendly staff, had some really nice cakes .

Arrived 5.20pm Saturday (shop closes 6pm) and found half the seating closed off by staff cleaning in order to close up the shop - see my photos. This meant you had to sit in the centre of the cafe making it difficult to social distance due to limited seating space. Staff behind counter were not a very happy lot and overall I found this Costa unwelcoming compared to happy Costa staff in Stony, Great Linford, CMK, and other parts of the city.

Vanilla coco lattes had no vanilla in them. Tasteless at £7.20

Coffee and the cake was nice, shame about the service tho. Unsmiling and abrupt staff without any please or thank you for the customer . I felt like I was a bit of a nuisance for asking for something. Totally the opposite to the Newport Pagnell branch who were absolutely marvellous last week, and I'll happily use them again. Kingston take note!

It is in a good location with plenty of seating. It has a good vibe and great atmosphere, the staff are friendly, welcoming and very polite.

I received the wrong coffee. I can except errors being made but it is disappointing. I am a diabetic and I always order non sugared drinks but I received a caramel latte and by the time I found this out I was back home. Very disappointed.

Always clean and the staff are friendly. Can't sit in at present due to the Covid restrictions, but the coffee was great.

Very disappointed looking forward to well advertised bacon or sausage bap, only to be told they is a shortage on delivery so not available. I said if you are out of this it would be a good idea to put up a sign or over the product unavailable at the moment. I was told this was impossible as it was part of their advertising. We had something else which was more expensive and not that good and we were wished a very over enthusiastic have a nice day which I can recognize a sicastic bye when I hear one .

Friendly helpful staff. Tables not cleaned properly between customers. Cakes were dry and looked old, tasty though.

I went in at 7:15 this morning and there were 2 customers in front of me and 2 ladies behind the counter. The ladies were busy doing app orders and completely ignored the in store customers. I waited over 10 minutes and I counted 8 people waiting behind me before the guys in front of me got served. WHY OH WHY couldn't one of the ladies serve in store customers and one do the app orders?? Makes perfect sense to me. Also please advise Costa staff to wear their masks correctly they should cover their nose and mouth 😷😷😠😠not just their mouths.

Don't go there very often, staff seem friendly, clean ,tidy. Just not always been a fan of the prices. Toilets available and plenty of car parking.

Really wonderful staff in here. When I visited the place was heaving with people, however all of the place was clean and tidy and the team in here was efficient and friendliness.. if that's what they are like when it's busy, I wonder how lovely they would be if they had more time.

I love the coffee. And the new seriously caramel and hazelnut cake has trumped even carrot cake as the best cake I have ever tasted.

The staff were so accommodating, ensuring that there was a table which would fit us all and high chairs..when the first table they set up for us got taken while we were ordering food they quickly set up another table for us all. No sandwiches were available when we went in the cafe so we had to have toast and croissants. The cafe was a little too busy and chaotic for me. Not relaxing at all.. Wouldn't visit again.

A Costa that actually serves filter coffee and made specifically. Shame the air conditioning was sooo cold.
