You pay extra for the location. Average food. Decent experience considering the lake is nearby though.

Our visit yesterday wasn't as good. Booking for 14 at 3pm and some of the food had already run out. To be fair they did seem very busy the staff are very good there but we didnt enjoy it as of previous occasions, which was a shame as it was for a Birthday

Fast service for a busy time. Everyone seemed to be working very hard but not looking rushed. One item of dinner wrong, dealt with smoothly.

Lovely venue, great for the kids with a play area. The staff are friendly and welcoming and the service is great. Nice outside area.

Was served by Lewis who went above and beyond to serve our party which included a disabled person. Lewis was polite, professional and very friendly. The service and food quality were 1st class and a great visit was had. The staff were all busy with work related tasks and worked very well as a team. I will definitely return after this experience.

Great place. Plenty of tables available when we arrived about 6pm. Small queue at the bar to order our food & another lady came onto the till to get people served quickly. Easy ordering system and our food came out within 15 minutes. Food was great and the place was lovely.

Visited on a busy day just after lunchtime. Food as nice, served fairly swiftly. Air-conditioning inside was very welcome

Such a great find! summer holidays easy feeding hole for the kids food was really good well priced and quick. Good location as well not to busy in center but near to the local theme park ect. Will be back for sure.

Great family friendly restaurant, nice surrounding area for kids and dogs. Been here a couple times for food and has always been superb!!

Ordered food for myself and my wife. My wife's food came first, 30 minutes later I went to check my food, they first said that the chef didn't receive the ticket (but it was on the same ticket as my wife meal). They advised it would be another 20 minutes. I then asked for a refund and the waiter advised that the food was ready on the counter, straight after they said it would be a 20 minutes wait. Poor service and accountability for mistakes.

Brewers fayre has always been a good place to go for a pub lunch if you were looking to eat relatively cheap and with extremely friendly staff, have been there a couple of times and every time has been memorable. Definitely would recommend.

Absolutely dreadful. Rubbish everywhere. Including on all the public paths around it. Staff clearly don’t care about the pub or its local community. Dirty plates everywhere. Tables not cleared away. Steer clear. Much nicer pubs elsewhere.

What a fantastic family pub restaurant easy parkin by a lake a little kids park lovely outdoor area and the staff wow from the lady that's sorted are food as we had meal deal vouchers thru premier inn she was helpful and didnt everything right sorry didn't grab her name and then the server and so much more Lewis what a guy and so great with kids this place is a must .we went back for breakfast and was just as gd as dinner food quality gd too wish I lived closer

Great little pub! Very family friendly and the food was good, I especially loved the price! Service could have been better, it was very slow even though the restaurant didn't appear very busy when we got there, and the waitresses were a bit too keen in trying to clear out plates. But I would definitely go back

Short staffed and carvery meat was cold

Came in for breakfast and was not disappointed. The food was great and the service even better. Ciara was extremely attentive and served us with a smile. Thanks for making sure we were well looked after!

Went it to eat with the family, they said it was one of the best breakfasts they've had and the kids really enjoyed it too. Staff were helpful and kind

Food was mediocre at best. Highly processed and poorly cooked/prepared. I had the vegetarian lasagna… once it finally arrived (they brought food for all my friends but somehow the system said mine was done), I had to ask for it after initially ordering at the bar. The cheese on the lasagna was gummy, almost like glue/paste. The pasta was also over cooked. The butternut squash was good. The side salad was served without dressing. Also, the menu doesn’t say breakfast is only served until 11am. It says unlimited breakfast. I guess that means quantity and not time. Clearly not quality either. 😬

Me and my wife had a Date night finally with no kids you can't beat a good cheese burger chips and steaks plus the bottle of wine or 2 as were staying in the Premier Inn next door. Scottish fella that served as was ace. Even got talked into a dessert to share.. The atmosphere was perfect and the staff were very polite and working hard. Thanks guys will definitely be back.

Really enjoyed our meal here yesterday afternoon Hot food served promptly our server was really sweet and helpful. Nice and clean and a good view. Will definitely return. Summer holidays are coming up and this is prime location for things to do in mk. The breakfast is a great way to start the day amazing value for money x

Wow I am now a regular here as I'm always satisfied. Always Meeted, greeted and seated very efficiently. The location is pretty and the decor is nice clean and modern. The food was pretty quick during a busy lunch time. This is a bonus so as my daughter wasn't waiting long. Finally found a place that has abit of everything. Doesn't break the bank and has friendly efficient service. There getting to no me now too so theres always a friendly greeting and quick how are you which sometimes makes all the difference.

Food and drink prices are very good. Atmosphere is lovely all the staff are very friendly.

Great food and the wonderful waitress Ciara is always friendly, helpful and so kind! She is one of the reasons we come back every week!

Only rating 1 star because I can't rate 0. The table was sticky, me and my partner ordered the burger. The bun was hard as a rock and the meat tasted of charcoal and was so stale and chewy. They didn't offer cutlery and it was very disappointing. I wouldn't go back here if they offered me a burger for £1. Please go somewhere that actually prides themselves in the flavour of their food and in their customer service. I took one bite and spat it out and left, was my first time trying here and It will be my last.

This has been one of the best restaurants I have ever been to. The staff was amazing, very friendly and attentive. The food was good. Will be going back again.

Disgraceful encounter with “Nana O”. I visited at approx midday on 7/7/24. After queuing for a while with my two young children, as I was about to be served, a gentleman went to the top of the queue, and was served a drink. The queue was single-file. When I queried this , Nana rudely retorted “cos he just wanted a drink” , I asked , then, if I want an additional drink, may I go straight to the counter, irrespective of the queue. Nana took a brash, arrogant and disrespectful attitude, saying “if you want to do that yeah you can be that person , but life goes on “ I responded that I simply wished to understand the procedure, but she walked away as I was mid sentence, muttering something to her colleague. I informed the manager on duty , a red haired lady who was working as the host at the door, however nothing was done to remedy my experience. I was disgusted with this.

Great place great food friendly staff

OK, so this place is not too bad, but there is no tablet service you need to order everything at the bar. The only letdown about this place is we see a waiter eating a few chips off a paid customer dinner plate about to be served so bit naughty and very unprofessional. Apart from that, I may try them again. maybe.

Ordered 1 starter and 1 main to be sent at the same time. They weren't so went up to ask why. He said your meal will be 5 mins no apology from him after asking nicely. What has happened to manners

Had a lovely meal here today, visited with friends after a stroll around the lake. Staff very helpful. Food hot on arrival at table. Clean and tidy eating area. Will definitely recommend and will visit again.

Absolutely disgusting. Tried to eat there with family on Sun afternoon. All of the non taken tables (probably 20 or so) were extremely dirty with food leftovers and plates with nobody cleaning them. If they can't manage to clean the tables I can't imagine how it looks on the kitchen. Will never come back there for sure.

Very welcoming staff. Great service even though we were there when the restaurant was full. Carvery is as good as any you find and is great value.... Plenty of outdoor space if you want to enjoy a Beer in the Sunshine. Parking is free and right outside but remember to enter your registration into the terminal at bar to avoid a fine

Came too eat here last night. It was lovely. The service was fast and very friendly. Hot tasty food at a great price. 100% will be back again especially during summer holidays with the family.

I stayed at the attached Premier Inn for a couple of nights and had a couple of meals there. The food was nice and the staff were excellent. Only fault being Saturday evening the place was packed and they were seriously understaffed. Service was so slow that evening that I went somewhere else.

Eat as much you like breakfast with decent bacon, sausages and black pudding for £10.99, kids eat free, bargain

Sunny Sunday evening. Grossly under-staffed, meals sitting on the counter for 30+ minutes, not served. The kids had finished their meals before the adults meals arrived. Then they tried delivering a 2nd plate of 2 of the adult meals. Used tables not cleared when we arrived and still not cleared 2 hours later - yes, it took that long for a main course and a desert for 8 of us.

They do not have enough staff to cope with the volume of customers Staff were pleasant although under a great deal of pressure One person serving drinks and taking food orders at the bar is ridiculous Food was not that nice chips dry n burnt side salad mostly lettuce There are better places to eat don’t waste time money here.

No welcome at the door..just entered parking.i had booked table 45 and with friends just went there. Went to counter booked lunch .lady was helpful then... Very self service

Service is ok. Food very bland and uninteresting. The atmosphere a bit boring. On the whole, I won't be going back because the whole experience is forgettable.

We stayed in the Premier Inn next door and booked breakfast for next day. The bar in the evening gets very busy due to being next to Willen Lake. The food choice for breakfast is excellent but quality is very poor , the staff were very good and attentive, the evening food looked better. Parking fee is reduced if staying in the Premier Inn, less than £4 .

where we have been to many brewer fayres and always found the staff polite and professional, until now !! There was a group in front of us and the member of staff was rude and very unpolite, we just thought ok they must of said something wrong then he spoke to us , he was very aggressive in how he spoke to us clearly was fed up. He looked like he was the manager. But you should never take it out on your customers. As with out us you have no business. I have worked in customer service for over 30 years. Your member of staff there really needs to learn how to speak to people, we will definitely not visit willen lake dragon again, the member of staff in question is clearly trying run the place like a dragon. We regularly visit the one in Norwich and the staff are amazing.

Came here for the first time tonight 29/4/24. Food was lovely and hot . Staff were helpful and service was quick ... It's nice that the soft coke drinks are a refillable. xx Will definitely be back ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Great place to stop over and grab some decent food at a reasonable price. Ample parking, great atmosphere. Have to say it was a really busy restaurant tonight and could hear a few people moaning and giving staff a hard time....don't know why?. Staff were fantastic, warm , professional and courteous despite being ultra busy . Thank you to Vicky and all the staff working tonight who ensured we were comfortable, well served and well fed.... fantastic. For the record I had chicken and ribs combo which for £15 was well worth every penny! Thank you again and I can't recommend this place enough.

Really nice setting right next to the lake. Food was excellent, all 4 of us enjoyed it. Waiting time at the bar far to long, I waited ten minutes to order 2 drinks because there wasn't a drink only section so had to wait for people to order food. Nice friendly and helpful staff.

There were tables with dirty dishes on, for the whole time I was there. No waiting staff at all. Just 1 bar person, and the only person doing food was, I am guessing the managers wife. These were more cooks than front of house staff. Definitely has staffing issues there

Nice place to eat and meet. Has a kids outdoor play area, a bit of a rarity these days. Carvery was good but the desserts were a bit disappointing.

Very busy when we went for the evening. Not the best range of food on menu. Struggled to order as have to go to the bar and I was there alone with 2 disabled children. I asked for a quiet area - not possible but the person showing me to the table kind of snapped at me saying "I tried to find a quiet space..." They got our order wrong though a man did apologise which I appreciated. But almost an hour wait for food really isn't good. Breakfast was better for us but would like some cold meats and cheese to go with the cold selection.

I really don’t understand why restaurants don’t want customers. We are a family of 5 including a 2 year old. They had many tables of 4 that could have a child seat added! However, they wouldn’t let us sit and eat. It amazes me. The owner must be so not bothered about making money! We were not even given the option to sit outside!!

My partner had fish and chips and the fish was all batter and no fish.She returned it and was given another meal of her choice which was o.k. When we walked in at 11-45 am we were met with surly un helpful staff.

Had lunch here a week ago. Table of 5. Bit soulless in there and they put everyone in the same spot so it became very noisy. No table service for ordering food or drinks. Poor. When food came it was hot and as we had all ordered. Standard food. Would I go again. Probably not.

Went yesterday for a Sunday meal The service was horrible The greeter was apparently even a kitchen worker all dirty all over his clothes still greeting people with not very nice attitude.. too busy for that. The girls at the bar very unhappy serving you almost upset The food took 30min to come and not the best food Fish and chips was OK But I don't recommend the nachos and the vegan burger. The place is nice but it's not enough to come back another time.

Willen Dragon has a fantastic location right next to Willen Lake. With three hours of free parking, you can grab breakfast, and then you can walk it off around the lake. We normally go as a group for breakfast with six adults and five kids. We book in advance, and it is a great place to meet up and chat in a relaxed atmosphere. There is also the added bonus that kids eat free, and they also take Blue Light Card. What I like about this Premier Inn is that they have not stuck with the Covid format like some Premier Inns. You can actually go up to the hot counter and help yourself to hot food. They also have meat options first, then vegetarian. You can also order from the team vegetarian sausage and vegetarian bacon. They normally have two fruit juices to choose from. I mistakenly poured an orange juice without checking, and it was actually tropical juice containing pineapple. Silly mistake spotted quickly as we had someone with allergy to pineapples. Coffee is a machine and a miss the Costa coffee that some Premier Inns serve, but to be honest, it was OK coffee. Our last visit, the coffee, did taste a bit weaker, but for the price, I can't really complain. They have two of the rolling toasters, so generally, in peak times, not much of a queue to get your bread toasted. All set, so it has a good flow. Toast section with pastries and jams, etc. Then, the hot plate section with cereal, fruit, and yoghurt opposite. The team there are friendly and so helpful. We turned up one week with only four of us as the rest had to pull out at the last minute due to illnesses, etc. No judgement, no trouble, they fully understood. This is a good place to meet for families for breakfast, and I would highly recommend it.

I rang to check availability and was impressed with Brian, he was polite, professional and very helpful. We were taken to our table by Lewis, who was cheerful, polite, professional and very helpful. We were served at the bar by Rosemary, whose cheeriness was infectious. The food was absolutely lovely and came out promptly and hot.

Came in with my family for breakfast. Food was great. Was served by a lovely lady named Ciara. She was very helpful and happy and made our experience really lovely! Will definitely come again. Thank you willen dragon and thank you Ciara :)

Good food here, the issue I had was I preferred a meal deal and had a starter delivered to my table at 8.02 and the main arrived at 8.04. So I had the nacho starter and took 10 mins to eat so main was going cold. Staff are good but give us chance to eat please.

Went for a walk round the lake with some friends stoped in for breakfast, buffet style breakfast not overly busy which was lovely as it was mid week, Emma and Dee were very attentive to us breakfast really good hots off to the chef,

The food was really good once again and the staff were very friendly. I had their loaded nachos with chicken goujons and the 8oz sirloin steak which was cooked as requested. Their 2 for 10 cocktails are to die for. I really recommend Willen Dragon for lunch and dinner even with family.

I visited here again for some lunch with a couple of friends. As always service was great. My friends had fish and chips which they enjoyed. I ordered mixed grill and my steak was cooked to perfection. Will be coming again!

I will never come back to this restaurant again , I have ever had a bad experience like in this one , they cooked you a wrong order and the manager just told you to finish your food first , should she be sacked?

Nice place for a beer, the food was ok'ish not that hot. We went there mid week, so wasn't busy, i think ill give it another go and maybe change my rating then.

Team are very attentive and nothing was an issue. Food was delicious and came out very quickly.
