The best restaurants serving Other cuisines food in North West

Awful. Walked in spent 15mins stood at an empty bar waiting to be served and decided to leave. The clientelle there that night were scary to say the least, we were approached by a very drunk, angry girl as we walked in who seem to want to fight with everyone, she knocked a hat off someone's head and hit my friend in the face. This seemed to be the norm in there that night. Not a good experience wouldn't want to go back.

Visited this cafe a couple of years back and the food was really good, value for money and the place was clean and well run. To say my lunchtime experience today was different is an understatement. There were lots of tables that had not been cleared it cleaned. I felt sorry for the two young girls who were trying hard to take orders and keep things ticking over. At least 3 tables walked out whilst we were waiting to order. I had a tuna mayonnaise sandwich with cucumber, the cucumber was extra. When the sandwich came it was clearly on value brown bread, a tiny bit of side salad and a teaspoon of coleslaw for £7..95 is not value for money in my eyes! The coffee was good but that was the only positive. Such a shame as this used to be a nice place.

The worst food I have eaten at a wetherspoons. I returned the steak as it should have been medium but was cremated. When they replaced the steak it was raw and the rest of the food cold. Clearly they had not replaced the whole meal. My husband's chicken was awful too. Dry presented very poorly and the coleslaw missing . We would certainly not recommend this Wetherspoons. Awful.

Today I joined a friend at the pub for lunch and I ordered a cold chicken wrap and accompanying coffee. My order was politely taken and the meal quickly prepared and it tasted fine. No complaints at all. Thank you.

Good food and reasonable size portions, Very enjoyable ! only minor downside was the free item (coke) never arrived.

Having visited Grange River Cafe, I am at a loss to reconcile the poor reviews which I have read. I have visited this beautiful cafe on several occasions over a number of years both with my family/ children and as a solo walker, at the end of many a walk in the Borrowdale area, I have always looked forward to ending my walk sitting having tea and scones on a fine day or one of the excellent homemade soups on a wet one. I have spent many a good conversation with both the Lady and Gentleman owners who have always been not only courteous, but engaged in good conversation.

Have visited this cafe previously and had no complaints and had a good experience. Unfortunately when we visited today it was disappointing. We both had the Sunday Roast dinner we have had before on other occasions but this time it was lukewarm even the gravy and it was not enjoyable. The roast potato was watery and looked insipid, the mash potato watery and lumpy. The peas served were out of a tin and the meat which was turkey was cold. The person who served us at the till was not engaging and since we paid £27.45 for the two dinners I feel it was poor value and would be reluctant to go again.

Had 2 pints £4.40 each paid cash Then had another pint exactly the same but paid card this 1 was £5.50 absolutely disgusting

Love this place. Just so sad that it is temporarily closed. Here’s hoping that it reopens soon…………………………………………………………………………….

Excellent place for food and drinks, been here a few times and never been disappointed, friendly staff and great service. Last night I ordered a sirloin steak and I can honestly say it was the nicest steak I've had in a long time, cooked to perfection, medium rare just as I asked, compliments to whoever the chef was on 9/11/24 👌

Hoped to spend a chilled Saturday afternoon with friends drinking cocktails and sharing some delicious food . We would usually always go to Wills across the road but decided to give this place a go . Never again!!! The two members of staff on duty were rude and incompetent and lacked even the basic customer service skills . I would like to say that it was because they were so busy but there were only 4 other customers in the place so absolutely no excuse for such poor service . Really disappointing

Dreadful rude service! As a regular will NOT be visiting again and will advice others not too! Moved from place to place so staff could clean… AT 5.25!!! Outside to inside to front of this very small coffee shop…. WHAT HOURS DO YOU KEEP!! IT SAYS OPEN TIL 6PM!!! WHY ARE STAFF MOVING CUSTOMERS AND CLEANING AT 5.30??? Manager needs to sort! No wonder many regulars no longer visit, this is certainly one who DEFINITELY WONT AGAIN! Steep downhill path from the nice original coffee stop. LOTS of friendly alternative choices in West Kirby luckily!

Absolutely hate complaining. ( feel like a karen) Bought dog in and had a sit in coffee. About 30 mins later , went for 2nd coffee ( sit in ) and to get pup cup , was given a take out cup. Me " sorry I asked for a sit in cup . " Lad " you have a pup cup no dogs allowed " Me " there are 6 other dogs in store ? Are you going to ask everyone to leave ?" Lad " no dogs aloud ! " So I did ask for the manager . The manager said to me dogs are not allowed. Me " I understand that but there are 6 other dogs here and no sign to tell us other wise, people come to this store thinking it's a dog friendly place " Manager " no dogs are allowed we are not asking anyone to leave , there is a small sign behind you " So I just dnt understand why I was given a take out cup but others with dogs were not ? . Let people know nicely there are no dogs allowed . ? .

Charles is amazing, such a gent. Gave great advice to us as we had no clue where to start with our planters. Also, helped take our purchases to the car. I can’t give enough praise for this place.
