Starbucks in Wirral

Currently on a miserable no caffeine and limited sugar diet for medical reasons, treated myself to an iced decaf cappuccino and found 20 mins later when I sat down to drink it that it was topped with a ridiculously thick layer of sweet cream. What a waste of money and time waiting

Dirty place tables were filthy, sears were dirty. Wasn’t busy don’t know why staff weren’t keeping on top of the mess.Definitely wouldn’t eat in there

I just wanted to write as a mum thank you to your member of staff Charlotte who looked after a group of anxious and confused school girls today. She was more than kind and a went above and beyond to help them. It was the first thing my daughter told me when I picked her up was how kind she was and how appreciative they were of her help

Worst Starbucks ever. Goudcswful - soggy / very limited choice . No atmosphere. Furniture poor. Only 4 choices of cold drinks / no coke / Pepsi etc . Absolutely awful and cost £30 for 3 drinks and 3 hot sandwiches- for dreadful food

2 lattes 15 min wait no one in shop, 1 person wandering about not serving, my advice is don’t bother ! Go to Greggs or Costa better service.

Having walked in with our little dog and sitting at a table opposite the serving area we proceeded to place an order. The 2 staff behind the counter were obviously far too busy to notice the dog as they were busy in private conversation, we ordered coffee and food to a value of £27 only to be advised once we had sat down that as soon as we had finished that we would have to leave as dogs were not allowed in. NO signage on any window or door to advise of this. If the staff had shown more interest in the first place we could have gone somewhere else, service absolutely diabolical.

First time at Starbucks and I had cookies and cream the staff where amazing thank you .Starbucks is so good # #coffee

Not the best. Service is slow, fridge is display only - why? Customer service average. Mornings in particular are slow, sometimes only one member of staff serving . Needs a bit of looking at.

The staff in that place are totally inept and rude especially. ..young girl with glasses on face like a smack bum ....asked where my strawberry bits were in my drink just to be told very rudely we haven't got any ...not even given a discount on the drinks ...avoid this shop at all cost

Me and my partner went to Starbucks for Valentine’s Day and we ordered and once we got our stuff we sat down and the woman said to us you will have to leave boys with glasses can’t sit in here which I think is disgusting so we had to sit outside in the cold on the bench she kept giving my partner nasty looks then smiling and laughing to the other member of staff

This place is such a waste of time, you spend half your time queueing because the inexperienced staff behind the counter just time waste. Only to receive a Luke-warm drink made with no effort. Sour faced teenagers behind the counter when you ask a question. Will be back if i want to feel degraded.

Starbucks new brighton, Staff very helpful with allergies. And lovely hot chocolate. Nice environment and vey warm inside.

I had arranged to have coffee with a colleague following a recent devastating family bereavement. Whilst sitting outside, a man came over & said I had no right to be sitting there without drinks. I explained I was waiting for my colleague and hadn’t even been sitting down 5 minutes. There were empty tables inside so plenty of space to sit down. Jo (one of the Starbucks) staff members stepped in and politely asked the man to stop being so rude to other customers. Jo was so polite, caring & understanding. She is a credit to Starbucks New Brighton. Well done Jo ~ thank you to YOU for being kind that day. Remember, the person you are standing next to could be going through something you have no idea about. Be kind. Always.

So poor.... frustrating Ordered and waited... the service has has gone down hill rapidly. Girl making coffees one at a time, there are 2 machines and they don't need to be watched.... but still one drink at a time.... Waiting for drinks that are poorly made... such a shame... the place is in a prime location, but the management and staff have no care for customer service.

To whom it may concern I visited your store in New Brighton this morning as both myself and my wife have done every Sunday for the last 3 years.Today however was our last visit due to continued poor quality of produce and service. Today was the final nail per say....placed our order with 2 sets of customers ahead of us and 5 yet needing service. One girl behind the counter was making coffee and a second gent was on the till. A third team member was on the floor and the assistant Mgt was nowhere to be seen. 15min passed and we stilk have no coffee but we're given our toast and cake which we had ordered. The red haired girl making the coffee (useless) was making one coffee at a time, certainly showing no interest in reducing the time customers were waiting for their drinks. My wife's toast was now cold so she requested a fresh replacment. She was informed by another team member behind the counter that her drinks were being made. No acknowledgement of her request. At this point the red haired girl walked away from the coffee machine to BOH. She remained out back for the remainder of our visit. After a minute or two I asked the male behind the counter, was anyone making coffee! To which he replied we are under staffed. This is blatant rubbish as there were 4 team members on duty inclusive of assistant Mgt (Mike) who finally showed his face. I replied to the male behind the bar, that regardless of his point no-one was making coffee...He continues to serve more customers who are certai ly not going to get what they have payed for any 5ime soon. What a disaster.. I then requested a refund to which the male had to fetch the assistant Mgt from BOH. The assistant Mgt said hat he couldn't refund to card so refunded cash! Both myself and my wife recieved no apology but more a whatever attitude from the whole team, a disgrace. In the last three years we have spent an average of £12.40 per visit which has equated to a total spend in your business of £1,934.40. No idea why we keep coming back because it certainly isn't 5he coffee or the service, we'll never again and I will be encouraging all I know to also give your premises a wide birth. Thanking you for the worst customer experience I have had in at least 3 years.

This place could be lovely. Great location etc but it is not. It is dirty with cluttered, stained tables, rubbish all over the floor and overfilled rubbish box. Almost all tables were empty but we couldn't find a clean one. I had to clear and wash it with sanitiser and as it was not busy I was curious as to why the staff then just stood behind the counter chatting instead of cleaning up. Paying £7 for coffee should surely include somewhere to sit that isn't in other people's mess. Coffee just about ok but surroundings revolting

I come in here either before during or after work to grab an iced tea and I'm in and out as soon as I've ordered my drink. The staff are lovely and sociable and assure that you get the drink you're craving as soon as possible and give you a good atmosphere to enjoy it alongside some free WiFi if you have work you need to do.

Always seems under staffed, tables with cups and litter on them, sand and crushed crisps on the floor, stood in a queue for ten mins that didn’t move .. as no one was serving on the till with no explanation to the us of why, just lots of blank faces in queue wondering why the two girls behind the counter were making drinks and just ignoring the queue for such a long period of time. Ended up walking out.

I visited the establishment today, I asked if they did cortado she assured me that they did I asked for it very hot When it eventually came is was a very small shot of expresso , I asked where the milk was, he retorted well you can have milk if you wish I pointed out that milk was very unchanged part of a cortado. I tested the coffee and it was cold , I asked fora hotter one he put his thumb in and said sorry that is as hot as it gets. He then wasn’t happy that I wanted a replacement I did point out that he had just had his finger in the the coffee Two points I would like to make , please train staff on your product range and good hygiene practices, as I do not feel a customer is wrong to ask for a replacement when they have tested the heat of your coffee with their finger

Coffee was ok. Tables were dirty and cluttered. Toilet didn't look like it had been cleaned in a long time, and considering hand hygiene atm, there was no soap. Staff less than interested when this was pointed out.

A few months ago me and a friend who suffers from epilepsy visited Starbucks in New Brighton on the Wirral. My friend was feeling unwell and felt she was going to suffer an epileptic episode. So after we had bought our drinks we went to sit down. A supervisor approached us and told us we couldn't sit down as they were closing soon. We pointed out that the coffee shop was not due to close for another hour. The supervisor became very agitated and his tone intimidatory as he told us to repeatedly move because he needed to clean the area. My friend and I protested that we were only going to stay sat for about ten minutes and other people were presently still seated. The supervisor would not listen and not relent and instead kept up his intimidatory tone asking us repeatedly to leave, he was by now was becoming borderline aggressive. Eventually he agreed that we could stay for ten minutes,but then said we should leave and also stated we were barred from entering that coffee shop again.Yesterday 27th September we revisited the same coffee shop as other coffee shops were closed in New Brighton Wirral. We chose and paid for our drinks. As soon as we had the same supervisor approached us and said we were not welcome there. He repeated several times"you are barred, get out". His tone was as intimidatory and borderline aggressive as before. His attitude despicable. Eventually after protesting our right to stay we decided to leave. I have never been treated in such a bad way by anyone before. My advice to anyone do not use Starbucks Coffee Shop at New Brighton, Wirral. This supervisor is a disgrace.

This was our first visit to this particular Starbucks and I must say it was really good. The interior is nice,light and airy, good decor and furnishings including plenty of seating options spread throughout this cafe ,a really nice Starbucks indeed. We were here on a Saturday afternoon, we ordered a flat white coffee each, these were served steaming hot ,we just kicked back, chilled out and planned out the day ahead while sipping our coffee's ☕. The coffee served in here is excellent, from the first sip till the last sup you can tell they use quality ingredients in their coffee and take great pride in the coffee they serve. We really enjoyed our coffee's in here before we moved on and although our visit was only fleeting for a first time visit to here we have a good time. This Starbucks is easy to locate along Marine Point.

Only stopped in for a quick coffee, great service from the Barista, Hanna. Lovely atmosphere and good service.

Couldn't get into the Travel Lodge for an hour so visited Starbucks. Staff very friendly but when I ordered a Latté it was tepid. When I took it back the Barista didnt know what tepid meant. I was given another one which was hot. Other than that and the stained seats covers the staff were very friendly.

So we are in here all the time so I am obviously biasBut the management and staff could not be nicerThe coffee is always well made which in my experience can not be said if all StarbucksBut you can here, especially flat whites

This is my local Starbucks and my favourite The staff are lovely all of them, very friendly with the option to amend drinks in ways I hadn’t thought about.

Been coming here for years now, it can’t be beaten in regards to backdrop! There is nothing better than enjoying your hot drink and watching the world go by, the people outside, the changing seasons, rainy days, Autumn & Winter here are just so cosy. My 7yr old son has been a fan of this place for four years and he still asks for a Starbucks trip

I visit this branch of Starbucks quite often and am never disappointed. Lovely selection of cakes and pastries always immaculately set out and very appetising. Customer service is always pleasant, kind, friendly and approachable.

Lovely venue, always clean and well kept. Great service too. Only down side, toilets wasnt the cleanest but other than that great experience

Perfect spot for a great coffee with flawless customer service and a warm welcome. Staff are always friendly and accommodating. Despite it always being busy with families the staff find time to maintain the store and keep it clean. The perfect retreat for a pleasant hour watching the world go by or settling down with a good book.

Had intended to visit Starbucks on a visit to New Brighton but found to our surprise that dogs are not allowed in the cafe. Having vusited many Starbucks previously with dogs allowed this was disappointing. All the more surprising given the many folk who visit New Brighton with dogs.

Waited pateiently in line to be served for approx 5mins. 4 staff behind counter and not one asked if they could help, then served person behind me!!! Sort your customer servive out please! Very poor!! Shall not go here again!

Always super friendly welcome from Kelly and all of her staff ,Sophie and Anna and everyone else. Nothing too much trouble in preparing our coffee order to perfection. My local Starbucks and my favourite. Always kept clean and tidy inside too.

You can stand here forever and not have a barrista notice you. They are not aware of the drink specials advertised in the U.K. the excuse is they are an independent location or something. Standard drinks only here. Anything "fance" will leave you with a glare you need to dodge to avoid.

Went in for a drink yesterday, my husband's coffee was burnt and my signature hot chocolate was like water with a bit of milk added. Took my hot chocolate back, got another which was great, but it still only had the slightest taste of chocolate. On the plus side on a very cold day it was warm in there- usually it's chilly!

A typical Starbucks with all the usal stuff on sale. Coffe as per usual and bites as per usual - all good if not as always a bit on the pricey side. The place when I visited was very busy - Sunday - and with the few staff difficult to keep clean although the tables were cleared regularly. On a busy day an extra member of staff is needed to attend to table wiping cleaning and because of the loaction the floor needs regular ayyentiom. A very windy position. Other than that certainly ok and the staff were most pleasant.

Took my 11 year old son for a caramel cream frappocino. He ordered and asked for a large ( used the wrong lingo... English not Starbucks) big mistake. After paying, I questioned the price as I was charged £4.45,not £4.10 the most expensive price listed on the board..i was told he asked for large and that was bigger than Grande.... maybe an idea to explain to an 11 year old that there is a secret more expensive size than those advertised. Probably won't be hurrying back as bad customer service is not something I relish.

I don't know what's happening to Starbucks newbrighton when we have been a few times lately , we have just walked out as the place was scruffy and unclean and the staff just don't care,we were told that the dishwasher was broken and we would have to have disposable cups the place was full of dirty cups (it's been like that for a bout 2/3 weeks)

Visited here and unbeknown to us it had just reopened after being refurbished. It looked very nice, good bright decor, not sure if all the furniture was new or not! There are several plug sockets to connect to you phone, computer etc. We purchased our drinks which were nice and hot and 15 minutes later customers were invited to try an 'Espresso' and '3 Region' taster coffees and sampled cakes to eat with them all for free. There were also some cold drinks for children or adults. Some of the staff even had the Starbucks logo painted on their faces...... not the usual type of visit, but something a little different at which the staff appeared to be happy and customers enjoyed there freebies!

I have been to this one before and asked for the secret menu frappe and they give it to me but I went on Sunday 19th February 2017 and they said they don't make them and they can't do it but they did give it to the last time I went and happily made it for me but when I went they didn't make it and they said they don't have raspberry syrup and they haven't got all the ingredients and I hope if I do go there I will be asking for them to make a secret menu recipe and also I know all the secret menu frappe recipes and I wasn't happy and I was looking forward to trying a new secret menu frappe

It was very neat and the staff was very friendly. The atmosphere was very Christmassy. However, they didn't have my favourite: cinnamon roll, so we went for the cinnamon swirls. It's located in a nice area.

Having visited other coffee shops in the area we decided to give Starbucks's a try and we where very happy with the outcome, great atmosphere lovely friendly staff and great selection of drinks and food, will definitely be coming back to this one, well done to all staff

The drinks were exactly as ordered, slightly different to the regular menu. The staff listened and exceeded expectations. They should be commended by their employers.

It is a typical Starbucks with same sweet savoury menu across the UK difference here is the staff really know how to serve you well. They listen and make the chosen drink excatly as you ask for it, stark contrast to Ormskirik one and several service stations on the M6 all of which have been appalling and dont give you the order as you ask for it and simply cant be bothered, the manageress in New Brighton should train all staff as her staff are excellent and it is down to her.

Sat in here now! Really dirty and staff would rather gossip than clean! Asked for earl grey tea ... No Lemmon but not even given anywhere to dispose of tea bag and told "it will be on the side "!!!! Serious staff training needed! Won't come back here again, felt like I'd inconvenienced them 0:(

Starbucks autumn special the Pumpkin Spice Latte always something to look forward to. Worth a visit if you are in New Brighton.

If you like Starbucks, then this one in New Brighton is the same as all of them. Modern, different types of seating, stylish décor, smart counter, friendly staff here, above average price for food and drink.

very average staff seem to have a very laxt attitude not realy impressed with the place shall NOT RETURN THE PLACE REALY NEED TO BUCK THEIR IDEAS UP.

Introduced my friend to a coffee/ caramel frappe. She's never tried one before, I had one with out cream, she had one with cream, she said she really enjoyed it, and would like to have another.

Honestly just get a cloth out and clean the walls and doors in the toilet area! No hand soap in disabled loo. Not even that busy. Pretty quiet and tables still messy, asked for table to be cleaned, asked for a cloth actually, but she said she would come and do it - we waited and I did it myself in the end with wipes. Had a sandwich and the bread was wet! They replaced it but the bread was still slightly soggy but my husband was happy to eat it. Coffee was weak. We go to Starbucks outlets a lot and this is the most disappointing Starbucks we have been to.

Called in early evening - open late from June 16th apparently. Had a decaff cappuccino with an extra shot, takeaway. Really good, piping hot and very flavourful. Would go again

We only came here for drinks, I thought that £14 + for 5 drinks was quite expensive. The breakfast tea was vile! How can you stir tea and remove a teabag with no spoon? Two of us didn't finish our tea, it tasted like it was scented with something YUCK! The cappuccino and Mocha frappuccino was nice. There were no suitable drinks available for one of the children, so she ended up with a drink that she left. That was 3 drinks we didn't finish out of 5. The toilets are not that nice, no soap in the dispenser and toilet roll everywhere. We won't go back, it was one of the most disappointing coffe shops we have ever been to!

Love my large mug of earl grey and carrot cake. Nice surroundings and relaxed atmosphere in here. A little on the warm side though when the sun shines so many glass windows but great in the winter.

The person called Ben remade my frappe for me and also it was from the secret menu that you have at Starbucks and he was so nice and also the women who served me did say that we don't have that one and Ben knew when I told him that the drink was off the screen menu and I was so happy that Ben remade it for me and also I would like people on the tills to have more knowledge of the secret menu please

Don't go here if you expect good fast wifi. Almost none existent. Had to go across to costa where it was ok. Coffee ok though.

We have been to Starbucks several times. It is best to eat outside or on the roof when the sun shines. Inside is very tired and in need of attention. The food is OK but nothing to shout about. The prices are very reasonable.

The cream covered what was the worst steamed milk, it was burnt and tasteless. You could only taste the high amounts of syrup in the cup. Considering almost paying £4.00 for this I was very disappointed.

Always helpful, clean and its a great Starbucks. Located by the light cinema so you can get a Starbucks coffee and take it in to watch your movie. One of the best Starbucks I have been in.

I have visited many many starbucks all over the place but this one is different. Situated in a new development by the New Brighton Seafront this is a very bright and airy place, a good place to sit and chat with your friendsOne of my fav starbucks, more please

Possibly a little to busy for me come weekends (a good sign I guess) but when I come here on a quiet weekday and just chill on the couch with a tasty latte, looking out the big windows at a great view of beautiful old buildings, it's lovely! Especially during a rainy day.

We dropped in here to rest our poor old feet ! and found the place typical of the chain, however in saying that the staff where great, friendly and hard working as the place was very busy.Tables where clean and tidy and we have a few coffees to relax with, including a snack, top marks and we will visit again.Used my Starbucks card to pay no issues so easy.

I go to a few coffee shops here but this one has the best FLAT WHITE and the staff style is what you would expect of the Starbucks staff in Canada ... Cool, collect and polite.

Visited with family on a busy Saturday and it was nice to be able to sit outside with our drinks, which were delicious. HOWEVER a large mug for two five year olds? With a very HOT drink? The inevitable happened and her father was actually scalded, luckily not badly, but it could have been a lot worse.

Thought I would try something different at this friendly Starbucks. I tried the Chai Latte Tea, very good and very refreshing. Service very good, one of the better Starbucks, though not very busy on a Saturday lunchtime.

We arrived quite early around 9am. The single staff member I could see was taking orders, doing till, and making drinks. She was very nice and chatty and seemed to really enjoy her job and have a laugh with customers. She is a credit to your company and made our visit thoroughly enjoyable. Drinks were perfect too :)

On my first visit , i tried coofffee ,a large coffee, very very nice , place was full ,just what new brighton needs, a lovely tasty coffee shop, i will be a regular visitor, i know lots of my family love this place, i for sure will be back

Really has been the best thing that happened in the refurb of NB for me. Love Starbucks and having one on my door step is great. Always friendly staff, often really busy but never have to wait long and it is kept in good order. Some chairs starting to look worse for wear now ! Don't let it get run down Costa is only round the corner and people will vote with their feet.

Not as quick as a city Starbucks..but hey we are at the beach...what's the rush...and they still have free wifi...all good

The windows in this place are huge. As it was a sunny side we were blinded, they could do with some blinds or dark tint on the top parts. We both got cakes but tasted like they had been there a few days to be honest. Great coffee as always.

I am a coffee connoisseur and this place is one of my regular hangouts. There is no cause for me to criticise this venue or find fault.It is a real nice place. Today - Sunday 12th October 2014 at 5.55pm I was served by a fab lady with a delightful pink flower in her hair. Fab service, fab banter, fab coffee, enough said.Would be great if it was open until midnight every night.

I have tried Starbucks coffee over and over again for many years and it always tastes poor....no, I actually mean dreadful, compared to Costa Coffee and Nero. I have now decided to give up with Starbucks.

Called in with the BOSS and Nan for a coffee. It was a lovely sunny day but it was fairly empty. Service was quick and the coffee excellent. This was much better than our last visit and more typical of Starbucks usual standard.

This is a fantastic venue and look superb. But when I visited mid-morning there was only one member of staff on duty. This resulted in slow service and table waste not being cleared.The drinks were all to the usual high Starbucks standard but they really need to ensure they have enough staff on duty to maintain service.

Good Lattes as you would usually expect with Starbucks. There is there usual multi choice of coffees and Ice Drinks with yummie pastries
