Propaganda in Bury

Awful. Walked in spent 15mins stood at an empty bar waiting to be served and decided to leave. The clientelle there that night were scary to say the least, we were approached by a very drunk, angry girl as we walked in who seem to want to fight with everyone, she knocked a hat off someone's head and hit my friend in the face. This seemed to be the norm in there that night. Not a good experience wouldn't want to go back.

5 of us went for works christmas meal. Booked about 6 weeks in advance. Meal booked for 4.30 pm. Waited an hour for food, after asking 3 times. When it arrived it was all cold. Even drinks orders were forgotten. We paid for the drinks and left.

Booked for the bottomless brunch for my friend's birthday as when I came before it was really good, unfortunately this visit was awful. We arrived early so bought a drink we were then seated placed our order for food and got more drinks, we had to keep asking for refills and after waiting an hour for food we told a member of staff, the girl was lovely but then a man came with food but it wasn't the right order when we told him this he became very rude shouting that he knew we just wanted a freebie when we walked in,,this was not the case and when we told him this he snatched the drinks and shouted for us to leave. We was in utter shock but to make matters worse we were then told this was the owner, surely he should be setting an example to his staff on what customer service should be not what it shouldn't be. Will not be returning

Felt really sorry for the staff that actually tried! Constantly had to ask for refills, sat for a whole hour waiting for food and then the owners response to our complaint about waiting was well your here for 90 minutes anyway. He then proceeded to snatch drinks from the table very aggressively and Insist I had turned up for a freebie anyway (his own words). Very unprofessional and may I add the place is very dirty my feet stuck to the floor the food is served in food caddies where the staff bring out the plates right next to bins and if that’s how the general areas seen by the public are kept I dread to think what the kitchen is like. On the plus side I had 4 vodka cranberries that there was no charge for I will not be returning that’s for sure.

Food cold. Service colder Atmosphere -poor. Restaurant prices for what is Frankie and Benny food at best. Part of the order was wrong. Told the waitress to which the reply was “okay”. Then never saw her again! Won’t be going again. That is all.

Was such a good night, the staff member Maisy was incredible, so friendly and constantly checked up on us. Brill night

Went for the bottomless brunch which I had loved on a previous visit so rebooked for my birthday. Bad experience as we had to wait ages in between drinks and was a long wait for food, we were a large booking of 10 so I assumed they would be prepared.

I visited on a Saturday lunchtime and was well greeted by the waitress. She was very pleasant and accomodating throughout. I had "The Rock" burger which was great. Thick patties with plenty of pulled pork and crunchy coleslaw. On the side I had the popcorn chicken which was okay really. Not much flavour to the breadcrumb coating but it was a generous portion at least. My sweet potato fries arrived 5 minutes after the rest of my food for some reason but the waitress was apologetic and they were piping hot when they came. And it wasn't like I didn't already have enough food to get stuck into! The place had nice vibes with lively music playing (not too loud) but it was quite cold. The nice warm food proved a perfect distraction though! Overall it was a very enjoyable meal and I'd highly recommend it.

Arrived last night for a bottomless brunch, rude man seated us didn’t tell us what we had to do about menus/ordering etc just told us to “sit there”. We’d never been to a bottomless brunch before so wasn’t sure how it worked. My partner ordered a beer asked for fosters and got told it’s only Amstel included (doesn’t say that anywhere on the menu) then when he didn’t like it they told him he couldn’t change to another drink and had to drink that? We said we were never told this so the waitress after being quite rude and telling us no we couldn’t change said that she’d honour it this once and let him change seen as we wasn’t told. So when he finished his drink we asked the other waitress for a pink gin and she point blank said “no” so we said oh no we’ve spoken to someone and they said we could change so she rolled her eyes and walked off to get it, came back and slammed it on the table. We were all in shock at how rude she was. My partner asked where the toilet was and the same waitress (rude again) said “there right in front of you” she just had a terrible attitude. The table we got sat at wasn’t great, the place looked run down and the toilets were absolutely disgusting.

Went in for a bottomless brunch at 2pm on a Saturday and there just was not enough staff to cover tables, they were perfectly nice enough but we had to constantly ask for refills, I asked for a drink I never ended up getting and we had to ask for the bill 4 times before someone eventually brought it over. Ordered a bottle of prosecco, waited 15 minutes for the glasses. Had to ask for a portion of fries missed off the order, pretty sure I ended up with someone else's (sorry to whoever that was) as they came in a basket, not on a plate like the rest of the table. To top it all off there was a large service charge, we asked to be taken off. Only given a two and not a one because other than the salt and pepper mushrooms portion being quite small, the food was pretty nice, just not enough to make up for the service being so poor.

Bottomless brunch Visited Thursday evening for bottomless brunch, 90 minutes of unlimited drinks (have to stick to same drink throughout) and 3 small plates of food for £35 each; reasonable value. We chose pornstar Martini; these were free flowing, didn’t need to ask once for a top up. Food was delicious too. The cocktails are in a smaller glass than if you were to buy them and you don’t get the added shot of prosecco on the bottomless brunch offer!!! We did however stay for a couple of extra drinks after the 90 minutes and these were lovely

To start off with the doorman was horrible!! Very weird and refusing entry for no reason, can tell he was just being off for no reason to everyone that came .. after dealing with him we didn’t even want to go in. Then when we were seated it took over half an hour every time for someone to come over for us to order drinks and then food and then the bill and then to pay.. each time I had to shout someone over and it wasn’t busy at all. Multiple times someone came over after being called to take the order then we had to shout someone else over when it had been over 30 mins to ask where it is (for 1 drink) to be told the order never went through and on another occasion they had ran out of the drink!! You can tell everyone else was getting equally as annoyed and frustrated with the service. We waited about an hour and a half for our food too which then all came at different times and we’re given someone else’s food! Won’t be going again

The food was good, service good, staff very attentive and making sure your drinks topped up before you even had to ask. The lady that waited on us for majority of the time we was there was exceptional, Donna, thank you, you were great. Propaganda are looking to have you as an employee

Came here for drinks with friends and ended up getting some food too. Waitresses were lovely and cocktails were amazing. We ordered lots of starters between us and it was delicious! Salt & Pepper prawns were great and portion sizes were perfect. Will definitely be doing the bottomless brunch next time. Thank you

We visited here on Saturday for bottomless brunch and it was absolutely fantastic. The drinks were flowing and delicious (porn star Martini) and the food was so delicious with generous portions. Excellent value for money. We cant wait to return. Considering the current circumstances they are doing a wonderful job of keeping people safe whilst providing great service. Really recommend!!

Just thrown out for being served an absolutely rubbish burger. Don't criticise food or you might get the same treatment. Better off going to Wetherspoons.

We visited here on Monday 31st. I am really not that fussy or hard to please but OMG - do not go here for food! They have hardly any staff on, I saw 4 front of house and to be honest I felt sorry for the ones serving food - the bar was dead so the girl behind the bar had it easy in comparison. Nobody really seemed to know what was going on, the table next to us was dirty, and it was only cleaned as we were finishing, didn't fill me with confidence!We sat for about 20 minutes before we had a drinks order taken, about 40 minutes for our food order to be taken. We were lucky (we thought) to get what we wanted because we heard them telling other customers that they had run out of a lot of the food due to a problem with the delivery that day (not their fault I assume so not marking them down for that).We ordered beef skewers and mozzarella stick for starters, prawn salad, Cajun Chicken Hanging kebab and a hotdog for mains. After about an hour it all arrived together "because you had been waiting so long we brought it all together".The starters were actually quite nice, but you can't go wrong throwing a mozzarella stick in the fryer! The prawn salad had luke warm prawns (I thought they should have been hot), a bit of iceberg lettuce and that was about it. My Hanging kebab was not, in fact hanging but just on a plate. The Cajun marinade was just powered Cajun spice, clumped everywhere, so if you took a big mouthful it made you feel sick - to the point where i had to leave it (didn't want to risk waiting another hour for them to sort it out) The worst part was the mushrooms off the "kebab" as they had lot's of dry spice stuck in them, nearly threw up. I would have loved to down a cool diet coke to wash the taste away, but sadly we had run out of drinks - we were not sure if we were allowed at the bar as nobody told you the new rules due to COVID.My son left some of his hotdog - which was quote nice so I ended up eating that instead of mine.We were sat on a table against the wall, half way through they sat another party on the table right next to us - barely a metre away. Made us feel uncomfortable as they were that close - they soon left anyway when they were told about the lack of food available.Looking at the other reviews it looks like it has gone down hill over the last few months, I wish I had looked before we went. Probably more of a drinking bar now. I was annoyed at paying half price for the food - I would never had paid full price, probably the worst meal out I have ever experienced.

Arrived for bottomless brunch booked for 4pm, I arrived first at around 3.50pm. Confused waitress didn’t appear to be able to find the booking and asked me to take a seat at the bar. Couple of others arrived at 4, the table was cleared and cleaned and we were seated at 4.10 ish. The rest of our party arrived at 4.15. After around 10 minutes being sat with traditional menus we approached a waitress and advised we were there for bottomless brunch ‘no problem’. It clearly was a problem as 5 minutes later (presumably) the manager stomped over and started to chastise us for being late as the brunch finishes at 4 ‘I will honour it on this occasion but it’s now half past 4 and it finishes at 4, next time can you make sure you’re on time’ When I raised the query that I was actually early and nothing was ready, I was ignored. Rest assured there won’t be a next time. If you’re going to honour something, why are you being rude about it? It makes no difference to me - I’m still getting the food and the drinks so what’s the point of making it an issue? It just leaves a sour taste before we’d even started. Customer service appalling.Food was average, drinks topped up timely. Waited an hour for the bill without anyone checking if we wanted any further drinks etc... looks like I’m not alone in this opinion glancing over other reviews.

Me and my friends came for bottomless brunch and I thought it was really good value for money. It was a Saturday afternoon at 4pm. 3 plates of food with bottomless Prosecco for 90 mins. You could also choose from Amstel or porn star martinis but once you chose what drink you wanted you had to stick to that for the 90 minutes.The staff were great and kept filling our drinks up and were very attentive in looking after the table and making sure everyone had their food. We all had a nice time and stayed afterwards to have some drinks.

Nice staff, but we paid 300 for a meal and gave a hefty tip and they still had the cheek to ask for us to pay for a wristband once the meal was done to stay for drinks. Jokeeeeeee

I visited with my partner on the Eat Out to Help Out night, we had booked a table for 7pm and we got there early, we was seated straight away but then we was left for a long time, we asked if we could order and the waitress told us “Not yet.” She eventually took our order and then we waited, we asked two different waitresses about our food and they said they would find out, an hour and 15 mins later a waitress came over and said “I’m really sorry but the kitchen lost the order and they are just starting to make your food now.” So all in all, from first sitting down to finishing the third course it took nearly 3 hours! Eating really late on a week night when we both had work early the next day is not something we wanted. So I will not be going again. When it very first opened I had the same problem and they said “we’ve just opened and it’s teething problems” but I gave them another chance, but I won’t give them another chance now.

Terrible. Felt a nuisance to staff who couldn’t be bothered. Worst service I’ve ever experienced. Food was awful and drinks served warm. Wouldn’t bother going!

There was 3 of us who went to eat on the eat out to help out scheme (me, my partner and my sister, we were staying within our support bubble), we booked a table last week for yesterday. We got there and were told even though we had booked a table we couldn't sit in the restaurant section as they had, had too many walk in customers. This didn't really matter as we were put on our own table away from other people. It took a goo 10-15 minutes for a drinks order to be taken, we ordered 2 cocktails and a soft drink. The cocktails came and looked good but it took another 5 minutes after the cocktails had been delivered for the soft drink to come. We then ordered our food. We were planning on using they currently had on (any starter, any burger/hotdog, any dessert and a soft drink for £10), after about 15-20 minutes the same server (Kieran) who took our order came and asked what starters we had ordered. This happened 3 times, 3 times they asked what we had ordered for starters. Some starters were brought to our table however, these were not what we ordered. After another wait we finally got 2 of the starters we ordered, being told the the 3rd was being made due to a mistake. How they made a mistake after asking us 3 times I do not know. The 3rd starter came after me and my partner had finished our starters. The lady which seemed to be in charge came over and apologised about what had happened and gave us some drinks on the house. This was a lovely gesture (the poor girl looked beyond stressed, forgot to get her name), she also double checked what we had ordered for our mains as to assure us this wouldn't happen with the mains. The first main meal came (my sisters exactly what we ordered), mine came and my partners came, we had both upgraded our fries however, we just got the normal fries (at this point I had, had enough). Kieran our server came to ask if everything was ok, I told him that we had got normal fries and not the upgraded ones we had ordered. He apologised but as we were over 1/2 way through our mains I didn't want new fries. After this we just asked for the bill as we just wanted to leave. The young lady who had given us a round of free drinks offered us another round of drinks (which we declined but was grateful for) and said that there was no manager or owner around and that she was beyond sorry for the mishaps (she looked so stressed and I felt sorry for her as it seems she had a lot to deal with). We paid our bill and was told sorry again by our server (Kieran). We said thanks and left.This may of just been a very bad day for the restaurant (being busy due to the eat out to help out) but this experience means I won't be rushing back any time soon. We chose here on the basis of good reviews we had heard off our friends and people we know. However, we didn't get the same experience.

Whilst staying a couple of days in Bury with my partner July 2019 we decided to go for a few drinks around town and stopped by here for a couple. The bar staff are nice and friendly and there was a good mix of people including families eating and the place had a really nice atmosphere.

My daughter went here last night with all her friends and as I am aware she isn't 18 till April and the management and door staff have a job to do, I would like to know who in there right mind thought it was acceptable to put her on the street by herself at 2 am (we are talking centre of bury) and not let her get her friends she had been in there since 11 pm and they had let her in then. worse still was told to step away from the door ON HER OWN ITS 2 AM, luckily for my daughter, someone inside had seen this going on and went to get her friends otherwise I dread to think what could have happened.DO NOT underestimate how dangerous this could have been, make sure to let your young adults know about this placeand advise against them going.

Went last Saturday as had 50 percent off food offer on, just had mains of burger and fajitas, despite only being 3 tables eating did take quite a long time to arrive, fajitas had good choice of fillings sauces etc, burger was quite dry and well overcooked, overall it was OK but don't think will go again especially at full price.

Myself and my best friend decided to come for a mid week Wednesday date night! We ordered the sharing bath cocktail, prawn starter, halloumi starter, 2 portions of ribs, onion rings, more halloumi, a chocolate brownie, an ice cream and 2 normal cocktails in the time whilst we were there and every single item was amazing!

Once again the bar staff let the place down, the singer was brilliant , waiting that long for a drink and still had not been served we ended up going to another bar, there are a few bars in Bury to go to, and really should do all you can to make sure customers want to come back and have a memorable experience, such a shame.

Came here for a quick bite to eat in between shopping. Food took 40+ minutes to be served and we had only ordered 2 meals. When the food arrived it wasn’t the warmest. Sharing platter was clearly for the borrowers as wasn’t a great amount even for one person. Food wasn’t great or full of flavour. Wouldn’t come here again.

Excellent event organised for Bury Hospice with some really good bands, and great atmosphere, Propaganda bar staff let the event down by charging what they want for drinks ... same drinks going up in price by nearly £2.00 this is naughty at anytime, but when you have a organised event which is close to a lot of peoples hearts, it is so wrong.

Me and my son Finley went for lunch we both had the big daddy burger and fries very nice and big would recommend 8f you like burgers proper ground beef staff and service good

Nice bar, good music and done up to a decent standard. But sadly the young lads behind the bar kept ignoring me and my friends when trying to buy drinks because they were too busy serving girls and chatting them up instead of serving all customers fairly and equally. I hope this improves as it isn’t good for businesses.

The food is fab the salt and pepper fries are amazing great value and portions this place has now moved and is so much better now it is on silver street

Went to eat here on a Sunday evening and was surprised to see how empty it was. There wasn’t much of an atmosphere and you could barely read the menu under the dim lighting. The menu itself seemed far more limited than last time I ate there at the previous location. We did wait a while for our food, but I don’t mind, so long as it’s fresh. The food we ordered was mediocre and It didn’t come with my upgrade of bacon chips which I asked for, which considering at this point we was the only two eating, you wouldn’t think they would miss it. To be fair the waitress offered to rectify it straight away. The cocktails where nice, but for the whole experience and the atmosphere, everything seemed over priced. It felt a shame as I never had any quibbles at the old place. The new place just feels flat.

We only had a few drinks in this bar/restaurant, but was approached by a member of staff and was told we had to move from our seats as the area was reserved for a party! There was no reserve sign (apparently it had been reserved a few hours prior to our visit), the staff member did not care for us to remain there until we’d finished our drinks, and felt we were being kicked out!!

Would definitely not recommend eating here. The burger meat smelt rotten and the chicken was a strange texture and slimy.

The food here is disgusting!! Burnt over cooked and greasy.They seem to have tried to rip off west ivy which is sooooo much better!!!!.Awful food awful experience avoid folks it’s just not nice

Lovey meal with friends.. In a new location which is great in the centre of Bury cocktails 2 for £10 was an added bonus too.. will be visiting again..

Had one of their 'sharing cocktails' - a large jug containing very little rum for £15. A rip-off! Do not bother!

Mid afternoon visit for Burgers and drinks with a great choice of Burgers. The staff were attentive and friendly. Some of the clientele can leave a bit to be desired but the staff dealt expertly with the unwelcome behaviour (drinkers not diners). The ping pong table is a welcome diversion for the kids too whilst we got to finish our drinks in peace.

Really enjoyed the food, cocktails well made really good. Music was great until DJ turned up then vibe changed. Staff attentive. Reasonably affordable. Will return.

I had the wings & the chicken strips the wings was great but the batter come off the strips n they tasted a bit bland everyone elses food was fine

Watered down drinks food swimming in grease and others very bland left hungrier than went in awful in and out with the hour

We ate there on the 31 aug, on receiving the drinks the coke was flat, we then Had an hour to wait for the meal to arrive, the burgers where over cooked and dried out, and the fries cold on all the meals. It appeared to me that there wasn’t a manager in house directing the operation and the accent was more on serving people in the bar area with cocktails. I’d also like to add that there where only 3 table that had ordered food so an hour to rustle up a few burgers is a stretch.

Fantastic food burgers are mouth watering chicken wings are lovely a hidden jem in bury massive thanks to the staff for making our visit great especially kez the waitress who went above and beyond with my family thanks

Brilliant place, great music, food & staff are so friendly, couldn’t go to a better place. Me and my friends and family loved visiting here.

Decided to take our 18 and 20 year olds out for a meal and cocktails. Although quite for Sunday night we got a seat easily and the staff were very attentive. Lots of food to choose from and delicious too, I would deep try this place 5 stars.

after reading good reviews and photos was looking forward to visiting .. servers were fantastic and very welcoming can not fault them at all!

We booked here for a meal for three whilst my younger daughter went roller skating nearby. I don’t know what I was expecting but didn’t expect this.

Having decided to have a small intimate wedding day and then flying off on 2 week honeymoon , we wanted to have a wedding party on our return what would be the essentially our evening reception !! We hired Propaganda out exclusively for this event and what an excellent , successful choice this turned out to be !!!! Fantastic food !! Great music ! With sax and bongo player ! Drink prices more than reasonable !!. The staff and management went over and above to ensure we had a fantastic night !! 100% recommend

It's not often that we fancy going out for a burger but today we did, and it was decent. All of the food was tasty and not greasy, we had a few starters and milkshakes too, also really nice. The floors a little sticky but we weren't eating off it so wasn't an issue. We also got 50% off food for checking in on Facebook. Will definitely be back, much better than Solita, which were the reason we stopped having burgers out.

Arrived just after 5:30pm, waited 10 minutes to order drinks. Waited a further 15 minutes for them (3 cokes and a milkshake). I worked out the delay was down to several cocktail orders made before us. Ordered food 17:50 by walking over to waitress stood at till and asking if we could place food order whilst still waiting for drinks. Food arrived 6:35 with an added hair in my fries! To be fair the food was alright on par with the usual Manchester burger bars. I used a Tastecard so paid 241 on food so reasonable bill and one I was just about happy to pay despite the slow service and hair! Bill further reduced due to the hair. I wouldn’t have been happy to pay full price as it wasn’t worth it. Unfortunately I won’t be returning, slow service and poor hygiene standards aren’t high in paying diners priorities. Sorry!

Really enjoyed our lunch here which we hadn't planned we just decided to go in. 4 gorgeous burgers and lovely cocktails and special deal of you checked in on social media. Only negative is the glasses weren't totally clean I had to wipe lipstick reminents off two glasses. Will definitely be back

Had a fabulous burger and steak skewer with 2 cocktails on a Groupon deal. The food was fabulous, cocktails really high quality and a vibrant atmosphere. We will definitely be back.

Whilst the food at propaganda was just average, the young girl who served us was fabulous. Hence, the award of a very good.

My daughter chose to come here as it was her 19th birthday as someone had mentioned it was a good place to eat. We live very close to Middlebrook in Horwich and have three or four of these American themed restaurants on here, so making the journey to Bury needed to be worthwhile in my opinion and sadly it wasn't.

Came with quite a large party on a Thursday evening, apart from is there were two other tables, one of less than 10 and one of 2. Our pre ordered food took over 40 minutes for everyone to receive after being told it will just be a 10 minute wait. I ordered BBQ chicken wings that I didn't eat because they tough and tasteless. Many of my work colleagues had multiple complaints about their food and the service. We were not asked if our meals were okay, and when we tried to complain that some of the portions of fries were missing we were brought complementary ribs but no fries.......bad food bad service l. I'm really sorry but I wouldn't recommend

We went at lunchtime on a voucher deal which gave us two burgers and sides and two cocktails for a very reasonable price. The food was fresh and delicious and the drinks came with very generous measures. The only negative was that there were very few diners so there was no atmosphere. Definitely worth a visit if you are in the area and especially as they have many great offers on.

We ordered burgers for take-away because we don't life far away. The burgers are really delicious and have a great size. Unfortunately, they only sell one vegetarian burger. I hope they will add more in the future because it was really good. The staff is also really nice.

Great food can not fault the burgers we had. The cocktails weren't as described on the menu and the service was slow. The venue itself looks like an old rock pub it's grubby and needs either a good clean or a complete refurb. I don't like sticky tables or sticky menus. Don't think I'd go back which is a shame because the food was really good!

We went in as a family on a random Sunday afternoon. 2 Adults, 2 Kids. The staff were welcoming, wasn't sure if Kids would be welcomed but they were.

After specifically asking for a dish with no peppers or tomatoes as a member of the party is allergic and would go into anaphylactic shock if to eat one we were then served food with this in!

Saturday lunch. Food excellent, cocktails divine. Great find. Decor quirky. Service good. Worth a visit xx

Used a wowcher voucher for burger, fries and a cocktail, Very friendly helpful and happy waitress, food was quick and very good quality, not greasy and food all delivered hot. Didnt have cocktails as was with my son and it was lunchtime but it was no trouble changing the drinks, we would definitely visit again.

Really tasty food, amazing cocktails and great atmosphere. The cocktails were delicious, espresso martini and zombie. The burgers were delicious and cooked to our liking, although a few of the ingredients were missing off my game changer burger, however I didn't notice until after the meal. The atmosphere was really chilled out and relaxed. All of the staff were really friendly and helpful. Will defiantly be returning.

If you are thinking of visiting Propaganda you won’t be disappointed! The food is amazing and really well priced, The atmosphere of the bar was welcoming and friendly, helped by the DJ playing the right music all night plus we also discovered a ping pong table in the bar that was free for anyone to play. All in all it was a really good night! Even the doormen were friendly! A visit to Propaganda is Highly recommended

Chose to go to propaganda for my partners 21st birthday meal as we have been a few times before and always rated it highly. I had earlier took balloons and bits in which on arrival the staff had put up in the VIP booth for us. The staff were so attentive and accommodating. Have my partner a free cocktail for her birthday and in general we’re just superb. The food as always was so tasty and plenty of it. Cocktails were amazing we had quite a few of them and when receiving the bill at the end was shocked to see how cheap it actually was. Would recommend this place to everyone. One of our favourite places for food and cocktails.

I can actually say I had the best burger on Sunday evening, falafel and hallumi, was great! Cocktail we have had before so was looking forward to them, we love the zombie that comes on fire, didn't not this time and did not taste as great as it usually does, maybe an ingredient missing... will be back hopefully no missing ingredients

Have been here before but not for a while and fancied somewhere with big portions! The food was tasty as usual and I highly recommend the milkshakes! The waitresses were lovely but they did make one mistake on the bill as there was a 50% off hotdog and burger meals if you checked in on Facebook and we had 2 check ins but they only took off one discount but we only noticed it once we'd left and didn't want to go back. So just double check your receipt. Apart from this though we were very happy with food and service.

Called here a Saturday lunch time with a young child in tow. As I have eaten here before I know the opening times etc so when we arrived just after 12 & the shutters were not open we decided to call in some nearby shops & wait. Called back at 12.15 & it still wasn’t open. Again decided to wait. Called back at 12.30 & it still wasn’t open. By this time my child was cranky & we had to go elsewhere. As I have eaten here before I know this isn’t the usual way propaganda operates but I was disappointed.

Have to say their cocktail are better than Manchester been here twice now in one month and got to know the staff grace and poppy great service from them and friendly

Great cocktails especially on happy hour deal great staff amazing drinks and great music the food looks fab but we didnt have any on this occasion

Booked a table for Friday night (Sept 29th) - I will be honest our first choices (Clarence & Automatic) were fully booked so we went along with a little trepidation. We were very pleasantly surprised. The staff were top notch, greeted us as we entered, took us straight to our table but changed it as a better one became available. We ordered a small portion of Nachos to share and a burger each, together with a cocktail and a couple of other drinks. The Nachos portion was huge, and very tasty. The burgers were exactly what you would expect. Cooked very well and as described on the menu. The best thing again was the staff. We were served by 3 different people but they all worked seamlessly together, a really good example of team work. There was always someone on hand if we needed anything and everything was delivered promptly. There was a large group in at the same time and it didn't put them off their stride. It made for a great experience so will happily go again. Well done

Came Here September 17 - with a few friends - great vibe to the place - New York inspired Decor ,nice ambience .I have been to several places that replicate American Food and been dissapointed but Propaganda have got it right .Had Stuffed Cheese Jalapeno bites to start with very nice salsa 10/10 , my wife had Avocado Smash which she said was very tasty - friends had Halloumi Chips with dips .I had a Pulled Pork topped foot long hot dog which tasted great - lovely fries, salad and coleslaw , My Wife had a Cajun Chicken Kebab swinger , a friend had similar and mentioned a great portion of chicken well cooked .Dave had a Big Daddy Burger which he enjoyed . Looking forward to coming back and trying the rest of the Menu as this food is best titled as Authentic American Comfort Food , very creative and inventive Menu .My Pint of Becks was Ice Cold and Cocktails other guests were having looked amazing . Will be returning with our Daughter who is 26 as she loves cool new places .Staff were very friendly indeed and made for an overall great evening .

My fiancée brought me here for a date night. Never been before but I really enjoyed it, the food was lovely & the drinks where divine! A little over priced and not much options for a veggie like me. Still lovely & the staff where great.

Just back from visiting Propaganda in bury.

Food was ok. We shared jalapeño cheese bites for a starter which were very tasty. The birt gets were just ok. I had the Big Daddy and my partner had The Game Changer. The beef patty didn't really have any flavour to it but it was edible. We had a couple of cocktails which were very good. This is their speciality in my opinion. My biggest gripe with this place and other new burgers places opening up is that they think it's acceptable to add tax onto the menu prices. The Big Daddy was priced at £14.99 on the menu and the game changer was priced at £13.99. These prices are expensive in themselves but to then add extra tax on top of that is ridiculous. If there was any mention on the menu that they add tax onto the menu prices I would have walked out at the very beginning but there wasn't and this is why I feel so annoyed about it. It really makes you feel like you a being gipped. On this basis I won't return here and won't recommend to others.

Me and the misses wanted a night out from our local and have some food so we called in the place was nice didn't have any really decent beer on draught food was not up to scratch from what I have heard maybe chef was having a bad day might call back in and have another go

Me and my daughter went to propaganda for lunch we first arrived then was told to sit wherever as it wasn't that busy. We chose the corner the waitress brought over menus then disappeared she returned about 10 minutes later with oh yeah do you want to order some drinks! Our drinks came and I ordered my meals I chose the chilli nacho starter and cheese burger on mains with the salt and pepper chips upgrade. My chilli starter arrived it looked nice but was just about Luke warm so I told the waitress and she took it away to be rectified it returned 5 minutes later still not piping hot I'm guessing it was microwaved for it to lose its temperature so quickly. My burger came quite quickly after my starter was cleared and it wasn't anything special it was under-seasoned and the salt and pepper chips were quite greasy I asked for a chilli sauce the waiter brought me out a sauce and said it's a habanero chilli sauce great I thought then to taste it was ruined by too much vinegar it wasn't nice I asked the waitress to take it away thinking she would return with a new one or explanation of what it was because I did ask but that never happened. Overall quite disappointing it would have been nice for the manager to be around to see what food coming out of the kitchen looked like because it never should have been served like that I'm afraid. And to wait a good 10 minutes for my starter which was fine for it to be served just warm is a little bit unacceptable it was covered with cheese and wasn't even hot enough to melt it hopefully something changes very soon

Propaganda burgers are just that...propa. Lamb burger was excellent as were the skewers on a previous visit. Excellent food, excellent service!

Me and my friend went for tea on a Friday night and the food was faultless. Our burgers came within about 15 mins of ordering them and they were exactly as we ordered. The pizza chips are a great side! Also, the young lady that served us was lovely and made us feel really relaxed. The only thing was there was only one member of staff on the bar when we went in so we had to wait 10mins or so for a drink. But when we did get served he was lovely. Would definitely recommend.

Tried Propaganda on a whim, and discovered an absolute gem hidden in Bury. The mozzarella sticks were delicious, the double propa' burger is one of the best burgers I've ever tasted (the seasoning in the burger meat is fantastic - seriously, go and try it yourself), and the Cajun chicken skewered kebab was super. The sweet potato fries had a light dusting of cinnamon on them, which to my surprise, is insanely tasty. The lass who was serving was also really nice and helpful. The price was also very reasonable. This place is excellent - definitely worth a visit. (Oh and they also do Deliveroo!)

I've been here a few times and it never disappoints.

I've been twice now and both times it has taken over 45 minutes for a starter. Only one staff member looking after 7 tables and we didn't see any food leave the kitchen until ours was ready.

Came in for a little spot of food. Waitresses were lovely and had some quality banter which went down nicely with the quality food and service provided. Highly recommend

Amazing food, music atmosphere and even better staff, especially Polly and Amelia. Will definitely come back soon! Great cocktails would highly recommend the frozen strawberry daiquiris.. Mmmm!!!

Had a flat tyre and had to go to Kwikfit on a Sunday over the bank holiday whilst staying in our caravan. Had to wait to get car fixed and this was the nearest restaurant for lunch. Lively atmosphere even though only about four tables dining, unfortunately ribs were off so we had a chilli burger and a hanging steak kebab. Pleasant friendly service food was piping hot and delicious, thick meaty burger cooked properly and not overpowered with chillies, very tasty kebab and lovely fries. I opted for Mac n cheese instead of fries, this was OK. Nice looking cocktails but we had a big pot of tea and a coffee. Shame that the coffee was spoiled by using steri milk. This passed the time very pleasantly before we could pick up the car. We were especially pleased ad I had asked the bloke in the garage where we could get lunch and he suggested a fish and chi shop or a place you could buy pasties. Thank you Propaganda!

Went with a party of 9 family and friends for a joint birthday party

I was slightly sceptical from the outside but the menu looked good so we went in. There is a slight stickiness to the floor and the toilets are quite grim. It just doesn't feel as clean as you would like.

I often want a burger but a fresh one, and we were not dissapointed fab menu great choice lovely food plenty in the portions we were stuffed we have a taste card so it's 241 great value though without as well, it's like a bespoke diner you see on diners drive thrust and dives. Cocktails were good as well, I recommend the calamari but all the starters were lovely the pizza fries so wrong but sooo nice I had ham and one apple fries sounds minging but they were great, would go back again also they do live music at night but we went lunch time. We saw a chicken wing eating leader board and our friends name was at the top lol

Just ordered food from here on Deliveroo! The burgers were juicy and really good quality. The starters were also scrummy. Had hot dog and cheeseburger bites. Not cheap but worth every penny. We will definitely order again or even go to the restaurant.

Went here a few weeks back, and I can't fault the place. Service was brilliant, didn't get the waitresses name but she couldn't do enough for us. She was on her own waitressing on a fairly busy evening and all drinks and food were brought over with great service and in a good amount of time. There was 4 of us, and we all ordered different meals and each one of us didn't have a single complaint. Great atmosphere, environment, service and food. Will definitely be back.

First time here for mates birthday. Staff very friendly and polite. Service was a bit slow bit worth the wait when the food arrived. Food was delicious 10/10. Parking is free after 6pm located rear of Wilkinson Shop. Less minute walk from Car Park.

Called in for lunch with my son having passed this place a few times. Was astonished at the size of the place - really space and stylish. Ordered various small dishes - reasonably priced, goon size portions and very tasty. Staff were friendly and service was good. All in all, a really unexpected surprise.

Visited yesterday with my partner and the place completely exceeded expectations. The food was a cut above any American themed restaurant I've visited before and was absolutely delicious. The service was also absolutely brilliant and we will be visiting again in the near-future :)
