The best restaurants serving Other cuisines food in North West

Stopped by late afternoon. Nice selection on the menu, opted for a Bounty Shake, and it was delicious 😋🥥🥤. Shop is on the 1st flood of a small shopping centre.

We had heard that the pub had been refurbished so decided to give it a go on Father’s Day. The first gripe was that there were no draught real ales on sale. I know we have left the EU but does that mean we must drink fizzy tasteless continental lagers with no choice of English beers and ales. Good job I had already had a pint in the Golden Monkey. The starters were good, but then we had the long wait. Almost an hour. Didn’t they realise that there would be heightened demand on this particular day! When the main course did arrive, there was disappointment all round. Small portions of fish and chips was one complaint. I had steak and ale pie. It did not appear to be homemade and contained little meat. It was accompanied by French fries, three small florets of broccoli, and three slivers of carrots. The whole ensemble was not so much swimming as drowning in gravy.. It was not a meal to remember. I doubt that any of the adults will be returning in the near future.

the staff were rude as my husband is hard of hearing and they were making a fool of him i went back to counter to change my tea to one without sugar and they were trying to say he ordered 2 with sugar when i clearly heard him say one with sugar and one without i will never go back there attitude as appalling

Went for a bite to eat Sunday afternoon and was not over joyed with what we had. Salt beef and there wasn’t much beef just a bit in the middle of the bagel.

Y ciertamente es cierto en este lugar. El pub, está un poco anticuado por dentro pero nos recibió un camarero extremadamente agradable, acogedor y activo con acento del noreste. Este tipo es lo que nos hizo quedarnos en este pub la mayor parte del día y, aunque inicialmente estábamos un poco cansados de la comida, esos temores eran completamente injustificados cuando vimos y probamos la deliciosa comida. El barman realmente hizo todo lo posible para saludar a todos con el mismo nivel de entusiasmo y bienvenida durante todo el día que habíamos empezado a pensar que se había puesto, pero no era completamente natural. . . Esto marcó la diferencia y, a pesar de que tenía algunos clientes más difíciles y exigentes que querían ser atendidos frente a otros que habían estado esperando. . . . El pub se llenó y fue un día agradable y fabuloso. . Hice algunos buenos amigos mientras estaba allí también. Definitivamente regresaremos cuando volvamos a Windermere. La camarera que llegó a levantarse recogió con este entusiasmo, en general, fue una experiencia muy agradable y económica que había pasado el doble en otro lugar el día anterior y no tuve la mitad de un tiempo agradable.

Disappointing. Ideally located on the main street but not somewhere we'd go again. Ambience was non-existent, toilet facilities unsanitary and the waitresses having to deal with being shouted at (unfairly) by whoever was in the back. Food took a while to arrive and was expensive for what was on the plate. There's much nicer cafes to spend your money in, don't waste your time in here.

It was such a treat to enjoy their music while sipping on our delicious drinks. 🥂 I just wanted to give a big shoutout to the staff at Bar 42 for creating such a memorable night last Sunday. 💫👏 Thank you for your exceptional service and for providing us with a great time. Absolutely beautiful. Definitely recommend it. Had the curry and game cottage pie. One of tbe best meals in the lakes Sat in the garden .

Lovely little cafe with lovely assistants

I was served quickly, but that’s where the positives end. The staff seemed uninterested, and the drink was rather poor quality; quite flavourless, watery consistency and ridiculously hot. It burnt my mouth and took over 20 minutes before it was cool enough to drink. The cup also felt quite light, and when I opened it, it wasn’t fully filled. This isn’t the first time I’ve experienced this at this branch. The quality of drink is far superior at every other Caffe Nero store I’ve visited, and this store feels like it doesn’t deliver the same standard of product. I don’t think I’ll be returning.

Went to get some shopping, no staff on checkouts, I had to ask for one to be opened, after some excuses they opened one. straight away another customer joined the queue. Staff member said Kim the manager did not want customers to use checkouts to keep staff numbers low in the morning (9am). A third person joined the queue and was told checkout was closing due to management and use self checkout.

Terrible service waited 35 minutes before being asked if we wanted a drink nearly an hour for food which was tepid and really small portions, no one checked on us no one asked if we wanted another drink sadly disappointed and will not be returning. Thankfully the cookie given to us at check in was delicious and will keep us going until we get breakfast In the airport

Popped in for a takeaway order sandwich and was not disappointed by the variety of choices available. Reaching later int he day there were still plenty of sandwich options to choose from including hot and cold options. Great little place really enjoyed the food!

On an incredibly busy weekend (the Vintage by the Sea event and glorious weather) there were 2 young staff on; one was school age and both had only 2 months" experience they told us. The queue was long and continuous and they were really struggling. To cap matters off the lattes we had were pretty awful, worst I've had from Costa. Not the fault of the young staff but where was the duty manager who should have been there getting stuck in to support them? Wouldn't be surprised if they quit after that day if that's the level of support they get.
