Brilliant spacious bar to pass the time in, we were served by Katie today and she was lovely, full of smiles. Screens above the bar show train timetables, so no need to constantly check anywhere for updates.

Didn’t have food, just a quick pint before going home but chilled place, perfect for pre-train journey.

I did not have the food on this occasion but I am under the impression the food would also be as lovely as the rest of the bar such as the service and variety of drinks.

Made the mistake of stopping in for drink whilst waiting for a train - over priced drinks in an empty bar with no atmosphere . Wasn’t told they were about to close when we ordered and then told with a 2 minute warning that they were about to shut without time to drink up. Won’t be returning

Great service by Tony! Super helpful, and served with a smile on his face. It was also very funny that our round came to £33 and he had to say it in his very northern Irish accent which was a good touch! He also played happy birthday for my daughter because she had 18th balloons with her, without asking :)

Perfect place to wait for a train or if you are early for the AO arena. Staff are always quick and polite, drinks are quite expensive but that's probably due to the location of the bar.

Food looked great on posters and 3 for £10! But kitchen closed when I got here so can't comment on food, but lovely atmosphere, skylight is gorgeous!

Great happy hour from 7pm. We were here before concert at the arena. £4 for a double with a mixer and it wasnt house stuff. There was other things on it aswell and they did food offers but we didn't eat. Great few cheap drinks before the expensive drinks at the arena

Walked in hoping to find something to eat before moving on, pleasently surprised by the descent food and very friendly service. Very nice and convinient for those passing through Manchester's Victoria Station. Recommend the mozzarella sticks and veggie nachos.

Always come here before a concert. Food is tasty and always fresh. Drinks always nice. Staff very friendly and happy to serve. Reasonable priced drinks for the location.

Very expensive. £7.20 a pint. There is no need to rip people off but I suppose thats why it’s never busy.

Just popped in for a quick coffee and sandwich on route home on the last leg of a journey of planes, boats, taxis and trains. The guy behind the bar was engaging and genuinely friendly. (Tim, I belive) We ordered a sausage and bacon sandwich and 2 large coffee. The coffee was large and strong, the sandwich was a taste of England, fluffy bread and tasty bacon and sausage. The decor is pretty with a dome ceiling and is extra grand for the station setting. We would definitely visit again if passing by the station. Come say hello to Tim, the pints look cold!!!! Cost £19 Experience 10/10 Good old fashioned hospitality

Was at a trade show at the AO Arena, didn't fancy paying £12 for a piece of chicken and so went for a walk and stumbled across the Beer house. Nice location in the station, lovely looking, old building - nice place to sit and watch the world go by for half an hour. Service was ok, a little slow but nothing to be disappointed about. Food was pretty poor; granted it was only a panini and crisps but it was a pretty poor excuse; no salad and a pretty tasteless panini. It also cost me over £12 for that and a small coke... All in all, ok but not great. I wouldn't necessarily recommend, but if you have a 20 minute window to grab something quickly, then it'll do the trick.

When i got served I got a pint of cider and a sprite lemonade and it came to £9.30, absolutely ridiculous,I went online and looked and the prices were a lot cheaper, I asked the lady who servede and I got told that the prices have gone up but not changed it on there site, rip off.

Had a nice time at the Beer House, nice calm atmosphere and Katie was lovely, as was everyone who I spoke to! Gorgeous roof detail too. Recommended.

Called in for a quick drink going home staff was very helpful but a little expensive

We went in for a coffee, because all the other coffee shops were queuing and found it much better than the outside seating, especially as it was quite a cold morning. They also serve breakfast , which next time we will order. I would recommend this place while spending time on Victoria Station, for whatever reason

Beautiful building, with an excellent dome in the ceiling. Staff are fabulous, come for your train early or meet arriving friends here to sit and enjoy this place for a bit.

Me and my friend popped in for breakfast got a bacon and sausage sandwich £6.25 each for some shoddy bread with the worst bacon and sausage ever it was so over cooked and dry had to cover it in brown sauce massive let down for the price

This is a place we used to use quite regularly and always enjoyed our time there. This last visit wasn't great though and it appears the place needs to up its game if it's going to compete with the new Victoria tap bar at the other end of the station. we arrived in there and had to queue up for quite awhile as there was one person serving. This was mid evening on a Thursday which seemed a strange thing when customers were walking out and going to the other place. They have a good range of drinks but they don't seem to be Very well looked after and we just drank up and went to the other bar. Hopefully this place will get its Mojo back as we used to love it so time will tell.

The venue is nice but not looked after. It’s a lovely building that could look fantastic. The selection of drinks was reasonable but very expensive. The wine I had must have been open a lot time as it smelt like eggs. The 2nd one I got was much better. New staff were training so could have been this. Very pricey for very basic drinks I x lager = 6.40 1x white wine = 9.40

Great little place for when you're waiting for your train. Decent prices for a station pub and service is always brilliant. Served today by Sophie who was really friendly and attentive but all the staff who have served me whenever I have popped in have always been exceptional.
