We had meal platter with full chicken with Perry Perry chips and rice on side. The food was excellent. The service was also good.

Used EAT regularly. About a month ago they had no sandwiches and thought nothing of it. A week later they were closed. Yesterday still closed and the cafe has totally disappeared. There has been no explanation and it is a shame as staff were very professional and the baguettes excellent.

I don't usually review places but I regularly go to EAT at the Trafford Centerto buy my lunch and I am always happy with the food and service. I love their soups - Goulash and Chicken Laksa are my favourites. The staff is always friendly and the food is quick and tastes good.

A good selection of nice sandwiches, cakes, hot and cold drinks. Plenty of seats and handy if you want to avoid the queues at the food court

Always made to feel welcome by the staff. Coffee & Hot Chocolate drinks are great. The cake selection today was not up to normal choices, but those we had were lovely. It is a great place to visit when half way through you Trafford Centre shopping trip. Highly recommended.

We have been to several branches of this chain, and are rarely disappointed. Most often, we go to the one at the Trafford Centre. I always look what their daily soup options are and when I see coconut chicken soup on offer, then I can no more resist than can a moth a flame! Other times, I enjoy the bacon and avocado baguette. The food is always fresh and tasty, the prices a bit above average, but not unreasonable. As I say, there is usually a mismatch between available seats and people wanting to eat there at the most popular times, but that is the price you pay for success and, in all honesty, turnover is quite quick.

First time vising an EAT and was quite impressed. Shopping at the Trafford Centre and needing a drink and a snack, popped in her as it looked bright, clean and well staffed. There were plenty of tills and we were served by friendly staff in an efficient manner. I had a crab pasta pot and it was very good. The tables were cleared quickly and the surroundings were clean and bright.Definitely use an EAT again in the future.

A lovely man served us who had all the time for us even though he'd had a long day. Other staff were cleaning the place & making it looked good. A lovely place to sit down for a cuppa & cake.

I often come into EAT on my lunch at work, the food may seem a little pricey to others but it's definitely worth it. All the staff are so kind and always give the best service. The soups are by far the tastiest I've had at a cafe before. I would recommend to have a try if you're passing by. Mmmmmmmmm :)))))

Very kind and chatty staff, but not overly so. Food was delicious and would definitely reccomend getting a soup and sandwich during this cold weather. Only problem was messy tables when it got quite busy, but otherwise a great place for a quick bite

The menu looked great, if a little expensive. Unfortunately, there didn’t appear to be any option other than to use disposable cups etc. Because of this, we had our lunch elsewhere.

I have just paid £9.45 for steak and ale pie, mash and a cappuccino. Would have preferred the option of a plate! Eating from a box proved a little difficult. It was delicious, plenty of steak and smell the ale. Mash perfect. The staff very pleasant. I gave it a 4 because i thought the price was a little high. Definitely come again. Thank you EAT

Staff didn't take too much notice in us and were talking to each other, drinks were served to take out even though we were staying in. Most of the tables had rubbish on them. Drinks were amazing and as we sat there someone came and cleaned up when there was no customers ordering.

Visited lunchtime expecting to have soup. oops, that seems to have been a mistake. The broth was not hot so not ready. Seriously, at lunchtime? For an eatery known for soup is this not just a little strange ? Also, the empty tables were all dirty

Its big - there is plenty of space and the choice is vast. Does that make it good - I dont think so. Nothing remarkable but good for a fast bite and drink. Would hate to stay long

Eat is true to its name, you purchase your food, find a table then EAT !!. Always enjoyed the food here , be it salads, soups or sandwiches, far better value than some others you may see.

Better than average, but not "very good". Eat here quite a lot. Good choice of sandwiches and other hot items. Probably a bit overpriced really. Sometimes an issue with where to sit, it's ok if you get a booth seat, but there's only a few of these. Often the tables need a clean. One thing that is inconsistent, sometimes they give you paper cups, other times proper ones, even when sitting inside. Not sure why they change it so much. After all you pay a premium on your food to sit inside. Staff usually friendly and quick to serve.

Dropped in on a Saturday lunchtime. General perception of chaos with what tables were available needing cleaning. This is a basic so sort out cleaning schedules. My noodle broth failed to impress. Felt I'd bought an instant version from supermarket but paid £5 for the pleasure.Have to say taken with general state of the place I'd not bother dropping in next time passing.

I always get a soup here. They have a wide variety of soups and different sizes. They always taste great and you can get bread rolls to go with. They always have a very normal soups and then some more exotic ones such as hungarian goulash which i had yesterday.

Had a short break from event in the event city and needed a quick snack. Table were not cleared and the shelves half empty. Ended with a boring sandwich. If we hadn't been in a hurry we would have gone somewhere else, but it is right across from the covered walkway to the event city, and it was quicker than going to the food court. Not worth it.

I have never been in this place before and took a bit of a risk but as it was so busy in the Trafford and there were no queues at this restaurant I decided to have a go. The selection of food is quite wide ranging if you are looking for a snack to keep you going as I was. I think the place has only just opened as I haven't seen it before and it was lovely and clean inside. There are no proper plates, all food is delivered in packets and eaten from them at the table. I had a toastie on brown bread with cheese and tomato. My friend had the same. It looked great but when it came to it, the bread was really only warmed through, not really cooked or 'toasted' so that was disappointing for me. Perhaps another minute on the toastie maker would make all the difference. All in all it was Ok and it kept us both going until our evening meal later on but I was disappointed in the toastie and therefore wouldn't rush back. It did seem to be a popular choice for people to eat and the prices were very good , so I do see what the attraction is but for me, just a little more time on the cooking and it would be a nice place to go for a snack

O dear o dear what a cafe to dine for dinner. Completely the wring choice. Ordered the fish chips and peas and for the high price it wasn't up to standard. Cold plate to start off, frozen chips not cooked in the middle and soggy batter on the frozen undercooked fish So disappointed as it was nearly empty so time was on there side to get it right The staff were nice front of house but sadly definitely won't be recommending this cafe and will never return.

So poor, overpriced. Really rude staff, young brunette was rude to us. £15 for a chicken sandwich too that was incredibly greasy. Avoid.

I ordered a sausage and bacon sandwich, was appalled to find out this only consists of a singular sausage and a single piece of bacon, on a considerably large bap. i was basically eating a butter sandwich. they then had the audacity to charge £3.20 for this
