Went in there in the morning for a coffee the queue was getting bigger and instead of making coffees there where to people there by the coffee machine and catching an attitude when customers asked for their drinks to the point of one of them saying you will get your drinks when you get it got so annoyed asked for a refund the guy at the till tried to fob me saying that the machine was not working and I was waiting for 5minutes for a refund declined to refund me for every because he had made the sandwich as a customer if I don’t want the product and didn’t touch I should be made to bug it awful experience do not recommend not going back there again the two guys in the morning very disrespectful to clients and full of attitude arrived there at 8:16 to order a drink left there 8:30 with no drink and a bad experience. There is a picture of the items I could not return cause he freshly made them

Cold hot drinks which were disappointing

Friendly but unapologetically slow staff. It appears they're only equipped with one steamer. Usually takes 10-15 minutes for a takeaway latte. Not great when so many people are rushing for trains.

i got a strawberry cream matcha, which i loved. the staff were also lovely. the only thing is that there was a long wait time, and the process of ordering on the screen was unnecessarily time consuming.

Wide range of matcha latte flavours. Great opening times, open late compared to other cafés.

Black Sheep Coffee has overcomplicated the simple act of ordering coffee. Their clunky pre-order screen, with the touch sensitivity of an LG Cookie, had me stabbing at it repeatedly just to get a response. On top of that, the coffee is ridiculously overpriced. Oh, and the really long wait time for my flat white didn’t make things better. Though the coffee tasted OK, my overall experience was very disappointing.

My first visit to Black Sheep Coffee in Manchester was fantastic! 🤩 The blueberry matcha( I love matcha) I tried was incredible, and the service was top-notch. Julia, in particular, greeted me with a warm smile and was extremely helpful and cheerful too.♥️ I’ll definitely be returning and highly recommend this spot to anyone who hasn’t been yet! *Next time I’ll take a photo and add to google☺️

I’ve been coming into this coffee shop for a couple months now, everything from the coffee, atmosphere and the staff make it one of the best in Manchester, especially Julia. She always makes you feel at home & I’ve always get my order right without fail. She’s extremely helpful and class at her job. This shop is always clean, the service is fast and a perfect place to stop before the work commute. I would highly recommend this shop over the others in the station.

Let down by my regular coffee shop and decided to pop in for a coffee and I think I’ve found my new favourite coffee spot! The vibes are great, the staff are friendly and welcoming and the food and coffee are brilliant quality and taste amazing! I was served today by a lovely young lady called julia, she was super warm and welcoming, very helpful with menu suggestions (I can never decide what I want🙈) and on top of that she makes a fantastic coffee! I can honestly say this was the best customer service I have experienced and if the rest of the staff are even half as lovely and helpful as julia was today then I will absolutely be back on the regular!

Nice enough for a quick coffee. Staff seemed use to just processing people so felt very impersonal. Drinks were nice but had to ask for a cup for the tea, then milk. Attention to detail lacking.

This coffee is amazing, the service is first class, the young man kieron was very informative about suggestions on coffee, we will definitely be back.

Coffee is good, has a very nice sweet touch and the place is comfortable to be and even be able to work with a computer. The only problem is that they take a long time to serve you

Genuinely the best coffee I've had in a coffee shop. I'm not a big fan of coffee especially made with a machine but this one was amazing. They also have lots of alternative milk options. The food was also pretty good but it is pre-packed and they heat it up for you.

Popped in today for the first time and had a brilliant experience. The shop was very clean and my pistachio latte was delicious! A special thank you to Meg for her amazing service. I’ll definitely be returning!

One of the best spots in Manchester for a coffee. I’m always greeted with a warm atmosphere thanks to Julia🙏🏽. Not only is the atmosphere cosy but the coffee is the best I’ve tried so far. Julia is my go to barista for the lions mane latte, always made perfectly. 100% recommend.

Nice place, with a great staff, the shop is smart you order by a tablet and collect it abd sit, two floors, with a lovely balcony, and heaters to keep you warm outside I recommend it to everyone

What fantastic staff! My daughter was taken ill on Saturday as she passed the shop, and the staff looked after her until I arrived. Not something everyone would be prepared to do and certainly something we were grateful for.

There’s so much competition on Piccadilly Approach for beverages but Black Sheep must be enhancing its reputation with the brews it’s serving up. First class service from the barista (Olivia) who was so helpful and knowledgeable about this business. The triple shot, soya Latte was a delight to drink 👍🏻

I ordered a vanilla latte, hot chocolate, and Nutella waffle. The waffle used to taste better and was reasonably priced, but now the price has increased significantly, and the quality has dropped. It arrived cold. The vanilla latte was delicious, but the hot chocolate was just okay.

Got there in the end with a macchiato and croissant, both of which were fine, but took ages to be served. Staff worked quickly enough, but there were too few of them. I find the self order system slower than Prêt's queues.

Slow service, waited 15 minutes only to be told the food ordered was out of stock

Went bc I wanted a bagel and look at the size of the coffee in the bagel deal 😭 wtf is that. downed it in 4 sips. Also barely any choice of bagel. Overall pretty shocking tbh

This Piccadilly station blacksheep coffee is a really enjoyable place to with some coffee.. lovely atmosphere and also amazing staff, specially the most lovely beautiful friend Sophia ❤️ She is not only beautiful but also elegant and very kind woman a wonderful human. Love and respect 🥰❤️

Popped in with a friend after work, Sofia and Julia were very pleasant and provided us with excellent coffee

Nipped in on my break from across the road and Sofia and Julia sorted me out with an absolutely banging mocha, defo recommend if you’re on your travels!

There are two places in Manchester, that I end up going back to - probably more in hope - to see if the service has improved. One is Ducie Street Warehouse the other is this branch of BSC. Before i continue, I'd like to say the actual staff are nice people, however each time I go the service is haphazard and so, so, so slow. Even if there's only three or four people in the queue. They always seem to be on edge. So weird. Doesn't help that it's on the parade to the station, so generally people are in a rush. Oh and on this occasion the guy serving kept saying my name to another brown-ish guy with the assumption it was his drink. Never assume, fella. The other BSCs are great, BTW.

The staff are fantastic. Special mention to Felix who replaced my drink after I clumsily spilt it. Recommend the upstairs balcony area for a coffee and observation of daily life

I am a regular at this coffee establishment. Always a great atmosphere with a warm, professional and friendly approach by all members of staff. A particular mentioned of Jordan, who seems to work very well under pressure alongside continuously delivering a good cup of coffee!

I was told I had to try Black sheep coffee and when I called in yesterday for a flat white on my way to the train it did not disappoint! Also the place is so cool! Spotless and such a nice environment. Got a great vibe from the place and the staff. Megan served me and she was so friendly and helpful. I'll be back to sit in next time and soak up the atmosphere!

Absolute BEST coffee I’ve ever had. It’s always such a great atmosphere and staff are always friendly and extremely helpful. Megan went above and beyond for our family when we visted, so lovely to see staff that love their jobs!

Just stopped by in the rain, wasn't expecting this to be as cosy as it was! Comfy atmosphere and warm lighting. Kiosk made ordering ezpz especially with so many choices for extras, staff were really upbeat too :) Waffles were amazing and fresh, will absolutely get them again. Partner enjoyed the coffee, hot chocolate was lovely but a little neglected - cup was half-filled (too frothed up?) so not much for £4. Overall really nice experience, definitely will come back to stay longer next time!

Good spot for coffee and snacks. Touch Screen Ordering system can be a little confusing especially when it's busy. Minor gripes however. Service was excellent and good chilled vibes on a Sunday.

Lo visité ayer por la tarde (domingo) después de un gran día viendo el desfile de Halloween en el centro de la ciudad. A la llegada cada mesa (estaba vacía) tenía los clientes anteriores bebidas y escombros en la mesa, así que tuvimos que ordenar antes de que pudiéramos sentarnos. Tienes que pedir las bebidas a un precio excesivo a través de un ipad en lugar de un humano. Pedimos cuatro bebidas calientes que no estaban listos para 30 minutos y eran tibias en el mejor de los casos. No había ambiente en el piso de arriba parecía una oficina compartida con los jóvenes sentados solos mirando las pantallas de los portátiles. Lugar sin alma ¿cómo es que sigue abierto.

La falta de servicio de mostrador es un problema, hecho un pedido. Un tiempo significativo después dijo que un artículo no estaba disponible, nuestro pedido de bebidas se eliminó. Luego pregunté de nuevo tiempo después y le dije a nuestras bebidas borradas. El personal era muy agradable, pero claramente insuficiente y abastecido.

Great coffee with amazing balcony upstairs! Julia was amazing and helped me out with the menu. My new favourite coffee now is the black hoof! 10/10 would recommend!

Come out of the station and keep walking past the mega chains and find a great little place in a new build that feels like it's been there for decades. Also you can order without having to deal with humans. Bonus! Nice food snd staff.

The downstairs floor needs upgrading. Walking in it felt like a second rate establishment. Upstairs was lovely however. The coffee and cake was lovely as were the staff however, and this was a real problem, there aren’t enough staff and it took forever to get served. The business is losing a lot of sales by scrimping on staff.

My favourite coffee shop in Manchester, perfect vibe for chilling and doing work or going on a date with friends. Friendly staff and great atmosphere. Dog friendly too! Amazing place.

The servers are incredibly lovely and accommodating, the biggest downside was the lack of covers on the food. Wouldn’t recommend eating any of the food here.
