To start with the staff are awful, Untidy, unclean, shirts and clothes, (un ironed, and just look all un professional) Asking for anything was like asking a teenage to clean their room, huffs and sighs. What seemed like the manageress lady didn’t care, What a great experience - stay away and find a different bar

Our first time and we will come again as it is a good menu. However, you need to invest in some more floor staff. Have a proper meet and greet, you shouldn’t have to go searching for a food menu (we didn’t want to use qr code.) tables need clearing and cleaning more efficiently. But in saying all this the staff who were on service are very pleasant and friendly.

Absolutely amazing... The service was really good. Also ege is a really nice lad and helped me with everything. I couldnt connect to free wifi but ege shared his internet with me which was really nice of him Amazing👏👏

What a fabulous experience! The manager was amazing and the bar lady was superb. We were recommended a breakfast choice and it’s one on the menu at home now. Don’t go upstairs in T2 but visit this gem

We had an early morning drink at the bar at Manchester Airport, it was such a lovely place to sit at the bar and relax before our flight . The bar staff were great! especially a young gentleman called Cam ,he was very pleasant and gave us great service.

Surly staff complete with eye rolling. Ridiculous waiting times and shockingly overpriced food and drinks. What's to like? Nothing.

Staff are first class. Karina went above and beyond to be helpfull. Food arrived quickly and was tasty. Good selection of drinks

Had a couple of beers at the bar. Johnny the bartender was above and beyond excellence. Great vibe with excellent staff.

I have an autistic daughter who will only eat ordinary toast. No other location or aspire lounge were prepared to assist, but the staff and manager here were. Making a special effort just to get some. So grateful

Great experience. Staff were great looking after my gluten free daughter. Especially Corrinna who really looked after after us.

On entering apiary we were greeted by lovely woman with a big smile. But oh my word I wish she would show the rest of the staff how to smile and interact with the customer, I have never seen so many miserable faces behind a bar at once. At the prices these bars charge you would think they would make sure there staff served with a smile. Ps more training on cleaning glasses required.

Not a smile on the staff's faces. Had a drink of my beer to find lipstick on the glass. Took it back and asked for it to be replaced. No apologies but given a new beer minus the amount I had taken out my original glass! Shocking staff attitudes!

Arrived at Manchester airport very early in the morning & needed a quality breakfast & hot coffee!! Went into Apiary on the spur of the moment & was served by Lechelle who was very bubbly & cheerful. What excellent service and she help brighten up and gave an early boost to what is going to be a long long travelling day. Thank you Lechelle (& the team at Apiary), we’ll be back.

Absolutely disgraceful rude staff behind the bar, front of house also just cba. No hot drinks available apparently after 1 pm. Girl rude behind the bar. Wouldn’t use clean glasses for fresh pints. Made us go to the till to get served. Absolute disgrace.

Front of house lady and gentleman were excellent. Funny, welcoming and very engaging. Staff behind the bar (Jordan and a guy with a beard) were terrible and let the FoH staff down. They were chatting and laughing amongst themselves ignoring 3 customers waiting to order. When Jordan came to take the orders his smiling, laughing face changed immediately to a grumpy face. He was not good. The big guy with the beard then struggled to make two cups of tea. No cups and he didn’t seem to know what to do about this problem. Food is very expensive even for an airport. Quality was Ok.

Our flight was delayed and we spent a relaxing hour having a couple of drinks here. Jordan made THE best espresso martinis and was the perfect bartender!

Lack of staff and total lack of service. The staff that were around seemed to be wandering rather than serving. While waiting for our drinks, there were staff stood behind the bar putting glasses away. I eventually went to ask for the drinks which were sat on the side and was told ‘yeah they’ve been there ready for a while’…? Shambles.

Staff need more customers service training. Disappointing service from the gentleman who greeted us.

Had a lovely coffee here, great options for dairy free, all the staff were friendly and the service was quick, couldn't ask for more!

Liam is a true credit to your team. He was very up beat and professional even in the early hours if the morning when the bar was busy. He made us feel welcome, prompt service always with a friendly approach which is sometimes rare within the airport experience.

Absolutely disgusted in the service we received just before we go on our Christmas vacation the staff are unbelievably rude and as for the manager Leoni to be told she doesn’t want to do her job anymore and she’s tired due to being on shift since early hours I find this unacceptable and has tainted our mood to go onto our family vacation the staff are all tired and can’t be bothered with you and once finished collecting our dirty plates dropped tomatoes all over my wife the floor and our bags Someone needs to look into this as I’m a frequent flier and not at all happy with this service

We didn’t eat here but had a few drinks before jetting off, Cam and Lechelle were polite, friendly and weasel sure we had an excellent start to our holiday. We actually left the lounge which was so poor to come here. What a difference it made

I ordered the flaked salmon with avocado & boiled egg on sourdough, excited for all the gourmet topping and basil oil. Was delicious, although they forgot/had run out of capers. Had I known they weren’t to be added, I may have ordered something else as that was what sold me on this particular item on the menu

Bought 2 drinks and was told that my contactless payment had been declined. I therefore paid again using chip and pin. Once back off holiday I checked my bank account and both payments had been debited. I have lodged a complaint but have not yet had a response - let's wait and see. Reading other reviews it looks like I am not the only one!

It’s a restaurant in an airport so yes it’s expensive. But we’ve never been served quicker. Seated immediately. Pleasant service. There was a sign at the door saying order to food is 6 minutes and they weren’t lying. Food was really good. Longest wait was for my coffee as the order before was a big one. The atmosphere here is nice; chilled dance music, cool decor. We’d come back here for definite.

Not impressed at all we have been charged twice for the breakfast we had We were told payment didn't go through so we had to put through again and on checking with bank 2 payments taken out So not a great experience

Asked if we could sit at the bar, shown to our seats and could see the bar was horseshoe shaped and looked really nice. After 5 mins of trying to get served tried to attract the attention of a member of the bar staff who just stared at me and ignored me. 2-3 mins later a grumpy male member of staff came over and said ‘we’re not serving this side of the bar you’ll have to walk around to the other side’. What’s the point of a horseshoe shaped bar with seats all around it if you don’t serve the customers who’ve been shown to a seat where there is no service. Went to a bar upstairs which was just as busy but had staff who couldn’t do enough to help you. Not saying to avoid this place but you might have to miss your flight to get served.

Not the best breakfast I've ever had for £13.50 , nice bar and staff let down by the food.

No stars for service. Despite it being fairly quiet, it took ages to get served because although people were mostly queuing the server randomly took orders across the bar, while two of his colleagues chatted to each other. Placed my order and went to pick up my coffees at which point I was asked what I’d ordered again. Should have said double what I’d ordered, they probably wouldn’t have cared. Finally, when the food turned up one of the items was randomly replaced with something else because “they should have said we didn’t have any when you ordered”. Clearly the staff have had no training, and the manager seemed oblivious. One to avoid.

A conventional airport bar, away from the noise. Surly bar staff where you have to go to them, rather than them coming to you, much to the annoyance of the patrons.

Service at the bar diabolical. Staff more dedicated to cleaning up after the morning rush, than serving people waiting. Prices astronomical. £52 for a bottle of Chardonnay. £13.75 per glass !

Bar was 20-30% busy, plenty of seating. Nobody available or visible to advise on seating, so sat at the bar next to existing customers, plenty of seats available. 1 member of floor staff wandering around aimlessly and what appeared to be a “manageress” busy chatting to other bar staff and faffing with glass trays, ignored us for over 10 mins then came to till next to us, faffed on the till for ages then announced that if we wanted serving, we needed to not be sat where we were and had to move to other side of the bar. Now, forgive my 25 YEARS working in hospitality, but if you have seating areas open, at the bar and staff are available, why would they not just serve the customers; especially when sat next to an operational till and the Manageress of all people is so rude as to ask us to move? Left without buying a drink, went upstairs to Bridgewater Exchange, service 100 x better and drinks more than half the price. Avoid Avoid Avoid. Rude staff, terrible management, zero customer service or experience, do not bother wasting your time or money here. The Mangeress needs a word or a job she actually enjoys doing. Zero Customer service skills for what should be a “Premier” bar here. Terrible.

Atrocious!!!!! Poor service, lady who served me had zero customer service skills. Served a terrible coffee and a flat Moretti in a cider glass. Blackcurrant and Lemonade £5 even though you had no lemonade!! Waited ages to be served. Beer just slammed on the counter. Dreadful. Sort yourselves out

Food well presented and reasonable prices ..tea and coffee huge..i had eggs florentine my only negative is slightly under cooked hence 4 stars..staff super efficient and friendly 😁
