I really enjoy coming hear. The staff are super friendly and the food and drink are lovely.

Had a lovely meal, we are locals but had family over for a few nights and they enjoyed their food and time at the devonshire, we would like to say a massive thank you to danielle the waitress everytime we come she can never do enough for us, she's always so polite and so helpful but most of all no matter how busy it is she's always so happy which helps us relax and enjoy or time there. Thank you guys for making our family feel welcome.

Had to wait for the food but it was very busy the waitress was great and looked after us no complaints at all just bad for parking

Booked a table for Sunday roast lunch as advertised. When we went to the bar to order was told they do not do Sunday roast lunch.

Food is always great but can get a little bit too busy for me at times so we tend to go when we know it's not so busy. But the food is always lovely

I had gammon egg and chips from here today and it was so delicious. The service was speedy and the quality of food was perfect. I cannot believe the standard of food for the low price, definitely recommend. I'll be back here soon that's for sure. The chefs really know what they're doing. Thank you for such a overall pleasant experience.

Pop in for lunch 2x fish n chips , scampi,macn cheese lovely food well served very quick service nice pub with a good serving of beers.coffee was good as well

Just had a beautifully cooked skillet steak, medium rare as I like it. Although it was on a skillet and still cooks the chef delivered it cooked just enough to be still cooking to my liking. Great hospitality, the landlord is friendly and helpful with any requests. With using my sizzling app I received a 25%discount on my food order.

Really enjoy coming here to eat with the family for food, usually on special occasions like birthday meals or Mother’s Day. Always had a positive experience with friendly, helpful staff. Food is great quality for the price and portion sizes are good. Nothing is too much trouble and we look forward to having a family meal again soon. Really enjoying the live music that has recently been put on and other events held at the Devonshire arms! Great family friendly little pub, with 3 different rooms for all different atmospheres, a family room that’s quiet and a main lounge for eating and also the back room for a livelier atmosphere with music/sports and pool & darts. We live local so often visit the Devonshire arms.

Not my usual local but was up that way and we nipped in for tea, really enjoyed it, the best pub food we've had in ages and the staff were wonderful when we had some dietary requirements needed. Will definitely visit again soon and recommend to friends and family.

Fantastic staff very helpful and all smiling. The food was very nice (compliments to the chef) I also had a nice chat with the Landlord Dean.

Service was quick and efficient bar maid was very friendly food was good it took 15 20 mins to arrive at my table. It was a nice meal and visit to the pub. We stayed for a few drinks after the meal which where very reasonable price would visit again.

Unfortunately quite a disappointing first visit to the Devonshire Arms which is a shame as it was a birthday celebration for my 6 year old. I ordered alcohol and when brought to the table got asked for ID (I'm 27 and my 6 year old was sat with me) unfortunately I don't carry my ID as I don't usually get asked now. All their signs said 'challenge 21" I definitely don't look under 21 certainly not with a 6 year old daughter so was confused. Anyway, the girl that was on the bar (also who bought the drinks and refused to give me mine) took my drink, didn't offer me a replacement just brought me my money for a refund. My partner came back from having some fresh air outside to be told I'd been refused my drink and was quite frustrated so offered to nip home (thankfully not too far away) to get my ID. Once I'd got my ID I went back to the bar to reorder my drink, she checked my ID went to the back where the kitchen is and bought my drink out so wasn't made fresh, that's fine it just wasn't very cold when I'd got it. Her whole attitude during our visit really ruined what should of been a nice meal. The food was mediocre, some meals weren't upto standards so again added to the evening. The supervisor Graham was lovely, couldn't be more apologetic for everything and said he'd relayed the information back to the kitchen manager and then onto management, free desert was offered but as we had birthday cake we politely declined, Graham then said that when/if we visit again then to ask for him and he will be our server throughout the whole visit.

We booked a meal here for my grand daughters 6th birthday, I dropped off her birthday cake earlier in the day to the supervisor Graham who was lovely and told us he would be happy to bring over her surprise cake. When we got to the pub our table had been rearranged....not a problem, we took to our table and ordered on the app. The bar maid brought over the drinks, took a look at my daughter in law , asked for ID, but she didn't bring any as she is 27, never mind challenge 21....the barmaid took away the drink, no explanation and no offer of I will bring something else perhaps. My son had stepped outside and on his return and of hearing this , went home to get her ID. My daughter in law then went back to the bar and was given the drink that had previously been poured some 10 mins earlier which was now warm. When the meals came they were not cooked to how we had requested (steaks)..., no one came to ask if the meals were OK. We had at this point decided to go home...the supervisor was clearing tables and we explained how it had soured the celebratory meal.....he kindly offered us free desserts which we declined as we had birthday cake to eat. We collected her cake and came home. He was most apologetic and gave my grand daughter some small plush toys, but unfortunately the evening had already been spoiled...such a shame , especially as you're only 6 once.

Just moved into the area over the weekend so thought I would take my daughter here for tea last night 6/8/24, we found a nice spot in the corner, service and food was excellent however it was ruined by a gentleman behind us who spent the majority of the time vaping, after being told to stop by his partner as there were children around he responded with “well she looks about 14 anyway” my daughter is only 12 which is irrelevant her age anyway as vaping indoors is not allowed. It ruined the experience and I am rather disappointed that a member of staff did not go over and have a word with him as there was a few walking around. I will not be in a rush to come back which is a shame as the food was lovely.

Only went in for drinks with friends nice atmosphere. Can't really add anything just called in for a quick drink with friends.

Thankyou to Dean, Louise and all the team on Saturday, for my 60th birthday party, the buffet was excellent enjoyed and complimented by all who attended, Thanks for a great night.

So, as a local resident, I've visited a few times, but when arriving tonight, I was told they shut at 1945 like always!!! which isn't true. I was told a load lies by the barstaff about since covid bla bla bla what a load then a manager backed the madeup story all I can say is what a load I'd like to hear the real managers story about this. I suspect a lack of staff

Deary me what's gone wrong.starters came out with part of main course.waitress didn't seem to know what a main course was .then said she would keep it warm on hot plate.was like an ice land take away .couldn't see any popular pasta on menu.dissapointed..Will stick with local restaurant in future. There was no serviettes .cutlery.or side plates..

Randomly decides to stop servicing food without telling anyone.. was sat in the bar for an hour enjoying drinks saying we would have a couple of drinks before food and at 7:45 was told they don’t want to take orders anymore.. says on their website food is still serving (and I could even go online and place an order to collect), but they want to get home early. No apology or anything when they knew we wanted food. Terrible customer service. Spent over £100 on drinks between 5 of us and was going to spend a lot more but now we’re having to go elsewhere for food and drinks. Will tell everyone to stay away.

I do like this pub and find it family friendly in general. Great menu and I've always found the food cooked well and to a high standard! Compliments to the chef :) The only thing that lets it down is the service at the bar. There is a larger lady with dark hair who has always been consistently sullen and non engaged with the customer when serving. Not sure why that is but a smile and a thank you does go a long way. Only thing that puts me off. Otherwise a lovely establishment

Nice place, picked the wrong night to drink in there. Seems like we disrupted the room where the three people taking part in the quiz had camped.

The food previously was very good and good value. This time however I ordered the large mixed kebab with the steak upgrade. It came in a huge plate but the contents were far smaller than the plate suggested. It was the first time I'd had a mixed grill without any eggs. I thought there was a mistake but there was no mention of them on the contents. The Gammon was nice, as was the steak. The mushrooms (4) were nice but rather more of a garnish. The chicken was overcooked and hard but the taste was nice, just too chewy. The sausage was nice but the chips were a kids portion in size. Far too little compared with the size of plate and the meat ratio. If it was more proportioned and included eggs or would have been an extra star.

Food and service both fantastic a lovely welcoming pub

The food was quite nice and looked well when served however there were 5 of us and we waited for 40 minutes for 3 meals to come out. Then another 20 minutes for a 4th meal to come and after waiting a further 30 minutes for the last meal to come out we cancelled it. There was only 1 member of staff serving behind the bar so 2 of us waited about 15 minutes to get served. 3 of us ordered drinks on the app and we had to ask for them twice. 55 minutes later we got the drinks.

Food is absolutely beautiful and very tasty, the staff are really lovely and helpful, the toilet are always clean and tidy, would definitely recommend and prices are really good 😃 10/10 from me

Booked a table for a work function (5 people). Myself and one other person ordered 1st on 2 separate tabs. The manager somehow seemed confused which burger we were trying to order according to menu and when we asked to upgrade to spicy fries he seemed clueless, ordered my own meal on the 2nd tab but before he served me I attempted to double check no one else standing at the bar had been waiting longer to which the manger snapped 'do me a favour? Are you ordering off this table? Then order your food as I have all these customers to see to and im on my own' the manager then seemed oblivious to the upgrade option on chips as my friend ordered spicy chips and he was beyond clueless ..once ordering food I made it clear I wanted my own tab to which he replied 'I might as well put it on her tab, just easier to split the bill (meaning put it on my friends) taken a back i made it clear that i wanted my own tab, was obvious he was finding any easier way of serving us. Anyway i ordered a burger and the rest of our table ordered on the app. We were only given 2 sets of cutlery and when a member of our table made her way to ask for more she was told by staff ' well we are short staffed!' Within 10 minutes most of our tables orders arrived apart from mine and 1 other guest. 40 minutes passed until we mentioned to the 1 only food runner we explained we were waiting on 2 more burgers, she apologised and disappeared. Another half hour passed before 1 more burger arrived (baring in mind we ordered 2 complete different burgers) the waitress arrived no apology and said 'burger?' Had to guess which one it was. Yet another 20 minutes pass and steal no burger for myself! In the end I asked for a refund again rude manager commented 'well its on a tab so you haven't paid yet' thankfully enough he took it off as well as a drink, regardless ruined the whole experience and was all excused by being short staffed, appalling service and won't be back. Further note manager needs to learn bar etiquette and basic manners

We came on Mother's day also my Sons birthday. I booked a table for 4 for 7pm its a place my partner & i live to eat at. When we arrived the place was quiet there was no table reserved but plenty to choose from I asked if possible cud we sit at the big oval table I was told no, as they were expecting a group of 6 people although it did not say it was reserved,not long after we were sat at out small table a couple came in on their own & sat at the table I had asked for. We then went on to order our food my sons girlfriend ordered double chips with her fish we both ordered the fish wen they came out the fish was burnt to a crisp ive had fish here many times but this was bad it was embarrassing she has the same amount of chips I did, i did complain but the man said it was all correct & walked away I called the lady who brought out the food she agreed that the chips on the plate was not a double portion that i had paid for so she went to get more chips we made the best of our evening that we had looked forward to but my son & girlfriend said it was their first & last visit very disappointing as me & my partner often eat there but on this occasion was not worth the £75 spent.

Been in a few times, the service and food has been top notch each time especially today the food was piping hot and really nice...the only thing that let it down this time was the waitress that just didn't make us feel welcome at all. Don't expect a song and dance but no check back on food...and no table manners what so ever but was happy with other guests and completely ignored my thanking her on leaving...it won't stop me from coming back but I just couldn't look past the service this time.

We have a table for 7 plus 1 highchair, everything was ready on our arrival. The waiting staff were friendly and efficient. The food was amazing and well worth the 30 min wait as they were so busy and I can understand why.

Was my first time there today and I like it because there are different rooms you can choose to eat or drink. My husband and I wanted a more quiet room to relax and glad there was one there but other rooms can be busy but it's all good as you have a choice. We got burgers and chips and it was nice and the price is right. I definitely recommend this place to chill around the area.

What the hell!! Popped in for a change and bloody hell what a surprise! Popped in on a Wednesday just after 5pm for a drink and ended up having food as the price was reasonable and food coming out looked good. Yes it was! Hubby had clucking hot stack and I have a burger and chips. Very very good food for the price, tasted great, nice portion of chips and reasonable too. Now then, what surprised me the most - 2 cocktails for £8.25 ! What a bargain...more to the point 4 shots for £6.50! We have been frequenting another popular well know cheap chain and the Devonshire Arms is offering cheaper prices and still good quality food. We were so that surprised that this Friday we will be visiting and giving it a try for a night on the pop rather than our usual places. Barman was bob on as were the waiting staff and it didn't feel clicky like it has last time we came (over 6 months ago). Place was also clean and toilets clean too. I'm gobsmacked! Not what I thought it would be like.

All good but the young lady on the bar had an abrupt cold attitude,dont know if she'd had a bad day but its not in our interest and shouldn't reflect to customers in that way,if she don't like her job she should get another she's letting the pub down

It was very cold inside, the fire was not lit and it seemed like a cold breeze was coming down the chimney. There were just 2 people behind the bar and one of them was taking food out when needed and when people left tables they were not cleaned away for a long time so it looked a mess

Service was so slow and the pub was quiet,so after 40 mins I had to leave and come back. Staff arguing over who was working at Christmas and how little money they had. And when we got the food it was average at best. If you're going to argue, don't do it in front of families trying to eat

Lovely, friendly, cosy pub with lots of seating for food with music and festive tree and lights. Also a back bar for adults only.We had a family meal, which was really nice and amazing value for money. Would highly recommend.

Had a great dinner tonight, early start at 5:30 easy to get served before the rush. The food was delicious. We were made very welcome by the staff and it was just a great night out. After our dinner we met some old friends and reminisced about times past. Thanks to the landlord and staff for a great night Ps the bar was spotlessly clean, beer cold and we look forward to seeing you again soon 👍

If you’re looking for something nice to eat in Blackpool, (that is a hard task in its own right) or just a drink in a pub that isn't rough. this is the place! Staff are very friendly, service is absolutely great and the food quality is 10/10! Couldn’t recommend it enough,

Had a great experience here today, i came this afternoon with my partner and our 2 year old daughter and our experience was great. My daughter wanted a drink she seen off the cocktail menu so the girl behind the bar (think her name was Jenna) put her orange fruit shoot in a glass with some oranges in it to make it look like the picture (minus the alcohol) 🤣, our daughter was very happy with this 😊 good clean establishment and the food was delicious. This was our second time here now and we was very happy from start to finish we will definitely be back. Thanks again Devonshire arms ☺️

Went here today for the 1st time thought it would be Nice!, Wow how wrong was I! There was 3 of us we waited 40 minutes for food we were starving & looking forward to it & when it eventually arrived it was Cremated we ordered 2 Hunter's Chicken Meals & Burger & Chips, Chips were cold! Won't be back anytime soon!

We like this place. Nice food at prices to suit the pocket, not a loud rowdy place but a nice place to go for a pub meal with the family. The staff are great with us which is one of the reasons we keep going back.

My husband and I have just had steak for tea. He had sirloin mine rump it was excellent and well presented, very pleasant lads one delivered the meal the other served our drinks .. all tables immaculate and all very clean been plenty of times before never had a bad meal yet thank you .. see you again soon

Below average, service shocking.

I did send an email regarding our visit and how horrendous it was. We spent £80 almost. The food took a long long time to arrive and when it did it was all cold with lots of items missing. Also for infection prevention policies and procedures under bo circumstances should the chef be going to ghe toilet wasting his kitchen apron. This is disgusting.

This is on Google has dog friendly. Walked to the pub. Then told no dogs. Make it clear!!!!!

Apart from children and workers it's OK.

Whenever the regular landlord is away the place falls apart. Scampi, chips and peas all overcooked. Lasagna with barely warm cheese on top, salad with no dressing which was literally lettuce, 2 pieces of cucumber & half a tomato. Ordered as a side dish but received 2 as no garlic bread. Very slow service - took over 30 minutes for this. Didn't have the wine which is on the drinks menu. Next time we visit & the landlord is away we will stick with a bag of crisps!!! Music so loud you can't have a conversation, which might be ok during the evening but not at lunchtime.
