Great pub with a large selection of drinks. Staff very helpful and a lovely garden to sit in if the sun is shining . Also have tv and entertainment stage outside

Avoid avoid avoid. Order a ‘big’ Puccini which is meant to be 16inches and it was atleast 13/14” but that wasn’t the worst bit. Every slice was black and burnt. Terrible!! Won’t be returning here ever again.

The place to go if you want to flash your cash or feel like Dick Turpin has just robbed you!

Not tried the food yet, but went for a few drinks and watched a singer. New owners seem very nice, had a long chat with owners gf who is lovely(sorry can't remember her name). Very busy but a lovely atmosphere, much better than with previous owners

This was the second time I popped in to the hall but had my breakfast first I ordered the same as last year egg Benedict it was just as good as last time your chef certainly knows how to make it I was served by Janet and Megan made very welcome by both will return again soon thank you for a pleasant morning ✌️👍

Great customer service from the young girl behind the bar(she mentioned her name was hannah) she was very talkative and welcoming, I will definitely be returning :)

We decided on a chicken burger meal each from the website along with a garlic bread and cokes- all via Just Eat. The website is fairly extensive which should suit most tastes. You can pay with most major cards via Just Eat. Fair enough it all arrived within the fairly short stated time frame by a smart friendly delivery driver and piping hot too. The meal itself was " okay" and had to be said filled a gap. Chips weren't too bad although the garlic bread gave the necessary carbs on its own. I don't think this takeaway deserves a 5 star rating although in comparison to the other national competitors like Dominoes Darione is a lot better. Would we order again? Yes of course!

I ordered the chicken finger plate. It's basically a chicken patty slit into slices with a serving of fries. I'm fine with that but at first was expecting the typical chicken finger type shape. So I still give 5 stars for food because it tasted fine. The bench outside, to sit on, was leaning to the left and I almost didn't see it ahead of time. That can be an accident waiting to happen. But other than that it was cool so I'd recommend it.

Food was OK nothing exceptional. The staff behind the bar where great however the young man serving food had long hair some tied back but thd front and side not. He walked wuth his head down so his hair was hanging in the food 🤮 absolutely disgusting

Potential to be a great pub. Had a good band playing. But £14.50 for two single vodkas and 1 can of red bull is enough to stop me going again

I’m currently on a global tour of experiencing a wide range of recommended places to dine! 6000 miles later, from the East Coast of America, I arrive in Leyland and was urged to pay a visit to The Morrison’s Cafe as I would not be disappointed and it would almost be a baptismal welcoming to British Cuisine! I’m not quite sure where to start, but after experiencing all of the mixed & cultural cuisines of California to New York, this place caught me off guard. Never in my life have I eaten such a well cooked and well seasoned sausage! The beans were exceptional and the bacon almost brought me to tears! Bravo to everyone in that kitchen that brought a tear to my eye! I live in California but I’ll be back next year and I’ll be bringing back my family, as they need to experience what I just have! Thank You Morrison’s, thank you! 🥓 🍳❤️

I had booked several weeks in advance for 6 people. We arrived on the Saturday night 10th May to be told they'd run out of potatoes and chicken and if they'd known we were coming they would have ordered enough food I have the emails to confirm the booking, plus the day before our meal i had an email asking if we'll be there which I answered as yes we'll be there. I can't believe they didn't have any food. We then had to try to find somewhere else on a busy Saturday evening, which fortunately we did. I'll never ever go to The Oak again and certainly won't be recommending it to anyone.

I came for a friends birthday for the first time. One of the staff members was extremely rude, tried starting a fight which I thought was very unprofessional as I have previously worked in hospitality. Very rude woman with brown hair, get her gone. Don’t visit here if you can’t deal with rude RUDE staff!!!!
