Usual trip for weekly shop at Morrisons in Leyland. Breakfast first. It was wonderful as usual but made even better by the service of a young lady called coralea. She went above and beyond with some customers. Greeted at the till with lovely smile, her interaction with everyone really lovely . Nothing too much trouble. Wish there was more , coralea s in the world.

We have had some great breakfasts at Morrisons Cafes around the country, but this wasn't one of them. The bacon looked like it had been briefly threatened under the grill, and one hash brown was cold while the second one was hot (which takes some doing). All in all, it was a very unapetising presentation. One to avoid in future.

Absolutely disgusting quality of food, the fish fingers were burnt and the tables were dirty, I cleaned my own before the food came. This place needs new staff or shutting down .. don’t waste your money

Me and my husband visited the Morrisons Leyland cafe today. We regularly visit the store/cafe. I would like to give credit to Daniel Cuerden the member of staff who served us this afternoon. He looked to us to be managing on his own even with this he was a friendly, helpful pleasant young man. Thankyou Daniel i hope this thanks reaches you. Alan and Kathleen

I tried to order at the table via my mobile as there was no one to serve me The website was so slow and halfway through the order it would move on. The website to order in the cafe is useless, it's supposed to save you time, rubbish, I had to go to the counter Please fix the cafe website

I don’t really know where to start with what I can only describe as a cafe warranting being closed and cleaned today. We went for late lunch, the cafe was absolutely covered in dirty plates , every available table covered in mess, there were no clean cups, no clean cutlery. I still can’t explain why, but we stayed, 🤷‍♀️, it was literally only because we were both hungry and there was nothing else available to eat other than driving over to McDonald’s, in hind sight we should have. The coffee machine was filthy, absolutely covered in old coffee and stains, another customer was going around taking photos of the cafe inc the coffee machine, tables were filthy too, in fact eventually when a young girl started ‘attempting’ to clean tables I had to finish it off with paper towels as it was still dirty and dripping wet through. An older man behind us also cleaned his table, and a lady further down the cafe came and got the staff squirty cleaning spray and their cloth and cleaned another filthy table. Then, to top off this, my daughter wanted ‘ultimate fish and chips’, if it hadn’t been so vile and dow n right disgusting it would have been funny what was on the plate! A frazzled cremated fish! But inside it was 🤢 a large yellow blob of what had been white fish and gone 🤢 bad. I asked for the cafe manager, to which the only working person in there said there was no manager today, he got another supervisor/manager from a different department of the store to come over, who then proceeded to apparently not ‘know’ if the fish was dodgy, and offered us another meal, obviously no chance, once was quite enough! I said I wanted a refund, of which they did for the fish and chips, but when I asked where my receipt was as she’d taken it, she then rolled her eyes before saying the cashier had it. Geez, a filthy dirty experience, given bad revolting fish and eye rolling. We definitely will never eat in there again, and as I was not the only customer complaining I’m assuming they’ll be receiving a few more reviews online and to customer services. We go to our local Morrisons quite regularly, never seen anything as bad as this cafe. The only positive was the poor lad running around like a headless chicken who was trying his best, which is very difficult when he had very little help.

Rude counter assistant. No smile, curt, rude, no word of thanks, didn't check I was happy with price, no goodbye. Think she's a one off as a colleague did smile. Awful customer service. Won't be hurrying back.

Easily the best breakfast I've ever eaten. Incredible value and top quality. Staff were friendly and cooked everything to my liking

Called in for an all day breakfast, disappointed to say the least breakfast arrived burnt sausages, under cooked runny white egg, bacon was also under cooked slimey fat, baked beans came in a separate bowl looked like they had been microwaved several times that day had to scrape them out of the bowl solid lump on my plate, toast came separate in a metal bowl, the whole meal was very cold the only thing on the plate that was a little warm were the hash brown's, I can't believe that Morrisons could ruin food so badly. Keep away and find another cafe I will never ever return to Morrisons cafe I'd sooner go hungry.

Went with my Granddaughters to the NEW morrisons cafe, its now near the entrance and replaces the one original part of the big cafe. We were served promptly by a lovely lady, I couldn't catch her name , but she was polite, really nice to my grand daughters too. We ordered Coffee, baby chinos and a cake each. The price was super at £6 . The seating area is stylish and has a great ambience and is modern chic. Loved it will go again. Well done morrisons.

I was recently visiting some friends in the area and needed to pop somewhere for some breakfast. After seeking some advice from a friend of mine, whose judgment I trust completely, as I know he has a remarkable palate, his advice was to visit Morrisons. Well, what can I say. I was blown away by the service, the quality of food and the bargain price. I opted for the large breakfast and it lived up to the hype it was given. Thank you to my friend for recommending this place and thank you Morrisons, top notch food.

Stopped into the Morrison’s Café Leyland with time to kill between important meetings expecting to find a box ticking breakfast of average fayre.. I COULD NOT HAVE BEEN MORE WRONG. I opted for the standard breakfast…it was anything but! The sausage, egg & bacon were all cooked to perfection! The beans (tho served in a ramekin) were piping hot and clearly NOT microwaved. My one quibble was that the breakfast came with a grilled tomato, which I don’t like but there was no way the staff could have known that in advance. Fortunately there was a small man on the adjacent table who was happy to take it off my hands…socially distanced of course! Finally, the kicker… the breakfast was HALF PRICE!! I almost didn’t keep the receipt to claim back from HR…. Almost. All in all a wonderful experience and in the future if passing, I’ll be sure to call in again to the Morrison’s Café!

After a wonderful experience on our last visit I was hungry and alone so I decided I'd visit my fav cafe. Yet again I was blown away with my experience, the choice, the price, the service and the ambience of the cafe. Its the staff that make it all worth while for me always courteous and polite and always smiling It may be a supermarket cafe but its more than that for me. Its an experience.

Just to update from my earlier review… Me and my partner were at a loose end whilst in Leyland, after our previous excellent experience visiting this restaurant, we decided to visit again. Wow… our first experience was blown out of the water with what we experienced this time.. When we walked in the atmosphere was electric, ambiance was overpowering, then the food arrived. We were blown away, once again with the efficiency and attention to detail. We both agreed this was the best coffee we have had this side of the pennines and have vowed to return often

Well I have to say my son and I were just simply blown away by the level of service, competence shown by staff and how safe we felt in Leyland Morrisons cafe. We ordered our food by a big television screen as an elderly man my son did the ordering you could actually touch the screen and it did things. Almost instantly after he clicked some buttons a member of staff ( fully masked ) came to check how we wanted to distribute the extra sausages, black pudding and hash browns we had ordered. I mentioned to my son thats the level of competence you want, I felt assured my breakfast was going to be right. In all my life visiting this cafe I have never been able to eat all fresco so we did. Its was like a summer morning in magaluf. Our food arrived within minutes and the lovely ( fully masked ) young man came to check what sauces we wanted as he delivered our food. I asked for horse radish sauce, but he knew straight away there was none so he offered me tartar sauce as an alternative, again I marvelled at the competence shown. Food was spot on, the bacon perhaps a degree or 2 too cold and I always question is there really a place for a tomato on an English breakfast. In the end as walking out full and satisfied I used not 1 but 2 hand sanitising stations on the way out just to make sure. Bravo Morrisons Leyland cafe you made an old man and his son happy.

Me and my partner just had a wonderful experience visiting this cafe. We were let down by the local Wetherspoons not having any breakfast, so we decided to make our way to Morrison’s, upon arrival we felt very “safe” and compliant. Upon finding the cafe we ordered our food on a fancy digikul menu and decided to go alfresco. It was a wonderful experience dining outside in the sunshine, i could only liken it to my trip to Benidorm. It must have been a matter of minutes before the pleasant young man brought our food out (masked, again for our safety) all in all we had a fantastic experience, only to be marred by getting stuck behind a very slow Morrison’s delivery wagon.
