Sweet Delight in South Ribble

Ordered today at half 3, order came at 5. Cookie dough was cold and had spilt everywhere. The worst cookie dough I’ve eaten, I only had 3 spoon fulls before throwing it away.

Always my fave place! Baba slush is my fave! Never disappointed! Except with strawberries and sauce they need more sauce, or to be drowned in it😀

Took my granddaughter for pudding. She enjoyed her ice cream and drink as did we. Staff were pleasant. Would go back.

Took 1.5 hours to come. Cookie doe was stale and cold. Wrong drinks was sent and to top it off they had mould in the bottom of the glass bottle.

i ordered food from here tonight and all i can say is utterly disappointed it has been multiple times where i have ordered a waffle and wanted to add strawberries to it however i have had to go out of my way to call up the restaurant and ask them to add them on because it wasn’t an option on Just Eat or Uber Eats, 4 times after this still having to do the same thing after being told repeatedly that they were going to sort it so there was an option to add strawberries. we ordered two waffles they took over an hour to be delivered and they arrived stone cold and my chocaholic waffle was as hard as a rock… having also called up to ask for the added strawberries and being told they were going to be put on the waffle they were not added to the waffle. we have ordered from here multiple times and have never been disappointed however will not be ordering again unless these things can change

Fantastic visit! Loved the shop. Fantastic selection of waffles and pancakes. Brilliant customer service. I would definitely recommended.

Avoid at all costs this father and son business is a front for their illegal activities, they tried using my card details to buy credit cards dumps I would give it minus stars but unfortunately that's not available, won't be going there anytime soon

Food was very late around 3 hours, called them and asked where it was and they said the order had to be changed, we changed an item on the order then got a notification shortly after saying it’s on its way but waited a long time up until after the shop was shut, it then arrived with items missing and very cold!

Rude staff, no apology for my order not turning up, no refund on my order. Would never order from them again or recommend anyone to order from them

ordered my food and after 1 hour of no show i called up. Had to ring the number 3 times before i got an answer and when i finally did they said they had run out of the food i had ordered and that they would send me something else. Came up with an excuse about a car crash and a very busy night but sounded completely quiet too me. Then proceeded to tell me the food would be at my door in half an hour, one hour later and still no show. Tried to ring to cancel and got no answer so i gave up trying. Overall awful customer service, food not delivered and i will not be ordering again.

Were the only two customers in the store and had to wait 45 minutes for two cookie doughs, two walk ins came in and were served before us even though we should have been the priority. Kept being told it would 15 minutes and then it was 6-7 minutes and overall 45 minutes, we almost walked out multiple times. The staff gave us a lot of excuses about why it had taken so long like how they had so many online orders etc which is not my problem and no excuse, we kept being offered free drinks and food which we didn’t want and then to add insult to injury we got offered 10% off the food when we complained, given that if you collect you get 15% off anyway! The lady did seem nice and had she been rude in any way we definitely would have walked out. The food was alright, wouldn’t have it again tho and after this being our first time trying this place we definitely would not go back.

Absolutely disappointing! I placed my order on just eat for virgin mojito, mango lassi, exotic escape sundae and Mexican gourmet burger. This order was placed at 2.10 pm and was meant to be delivered between 3.20 and 3.40. Then I get a call at 3.20 from the shop to say that due to certain issues they would be able to deliver the order only at 4.20 pm. It finally gets delivered at 4.50 pm! And what’s worse, none of it was good. The virgin mojito was just 7.up or lemonade with lemon in it and no mint! The mango lassi was sour to the point of being not consumable. The exotic escape sundae was supposed to have mango and vanilla icecream. Instead they gave me another sundae with strawberry icecream in it! The burger was alright! In brief, not worth the money or time, unless you have lots of both to spare! The best part is nobody picks the phone if you want to check on your order or even raise a complaint!

My flat mates and I ordered quite a lot of food haha! It was all so delicious and we’ll delivered. The delivery lady was so sweet and the food was amazing. Deffo ordering again!!

Ordered at 9pm still hasn't arrived by 10:27 and counting, should of read the reviews before ordering because this is shambles! Rang the restaurant several times and it's always the same thing "oh the drivers just left 2 mins ago" well it only takes a few minutes to get from the restaurant to my house, I think he's got lost along the way

Really disappointed, waited over an hour for just 2 icecream sundaes not to arrive. Rang to be told they've closed and that it's coming now. Then to be told they're making it now. To then be told that I can have the money transferred onto another order tomorrow. Which one is it exactly? No thankyou. 1st time trying here and won't be trying again.

The desserts are delicious and the service is great. Lovely place to eat with family and friends.

Decided to eat in the cafe. A, mistake. Poor service and staff that almost.made you feel an inconvenience . Both of us ordered waffles served 10 minutes apart. Staff not familiar with menu. Food good but will not go back.

Hate having to give a business a bad review however the service I’ve received tonight was appalling. Food arrived over an hour late past the expected time, actually took 2 hours from when the order was placed. Food arrived pipping hot so the obviously forgot about the order. Quality of food was average for the price they charge. Wouldn’t recommend and would advise spending your money elsewhere

I came today with my friend and the food took a while because we was the first people there but the menu was massive and the food was amazing I deffo recommend

I went into the shop to pick mine and my granddaughters dessert yesterday, I picked a banana knickerbocker glory and a waffle with fresh strawberries. I didn't wait long, he put it in a bag and off we went excited Haa! When we got home there wasn't a banana in sight! He'd made something with chocolate and vanilla with weird chunks of chocolate cake. The waffle looked nice but hard and not what we ordered. Won't be going back again for £13.,it would be useful if they hired someone who could speak English!

I was with my Wife just on random trip becouse We was in Leyland and find this Lovely place in Google and trust me, the place is amazing and all what We trying was absolutely delicious and owner is a nice man who I was ever meet👍👍👍Highly recommended this place and is very cheap compared deferent desserts places

I waited 2 hours for 3 small items and last time I orderd I waited an hour and a half absaloutley couldn't get worse customer service its awful food is really good but when I get to you it cold and batterd and fallen apart avoid this place

The prices are too high for what you get, there was no fresh air inside, we have waited for too long.. Do not order "The Empire"... 15,50 for that awful dish we had is ridiculous.

Best dessert in Leyland had it 3 times in a row 3 times the food was perfect I recommend this to everyone to visit or get delivery friendliest service and good service you will ever get

What can I say about this place! It’s amazing, clean tidy, fresh and it serves a full menu of vegan food. I had the vegan waffle with strawberries and bananas and it was so tasty. I would highly recommend this place for anyone that just loves all things sweet.

Taking orders when there not open scamming people because there refund button does not work so if they read this would love my money back thanks awful company !!!

Never open. It says online they're open, then exactly on the expected opening time they move to 'closed'. Huge shame, and means us as customers can't make plans for it - will move to the competitors who do announce their opening times. EDIT: Glad to see them back open, and I'm sure the quality will be good as usual!

Vegan dessert place! Really I thought someone was joining but oh my word I have to say, the food was so fresh, ordered for 650pm and it was ready. Lovely service and not badly priced either. Can honestly say the portion sizes too are not shab! You go and you will not be disappointed

Ordered for delivery at 7:50, it said it would be here at 9pm. We recieved a call at 9pm saying there was a delay of about 10 minutes which we were fine with. At 10:40, a whole 3 hours after ordering, we had a phone call so say the driver didn’t want to drive that far even though we live within the delivery distance. Absolutely disgusting to wait for 3 hours to be told they couldn’t be bothered! Do not recommend and will not be returning.

Ordered milkshakes for delivery for 8.30 for my girls before they went to bed, 9.15 and it’s still not here my girls are now asleep in bed, paid upfront on card or I would of just gone to bed! Won’t be using again it’s a shame really as it’s really good

Calling all local Vegans!! This is a must visit, there is a newly created Vegan menu which I've uploaded. I had waffles and mt daughter had the banana split with honeycomb pieces. Absolutely delicious!!!

Make me laugh these ‘new’ places that open, and don’t except debit card or contactless. It’s 2020 not 1982. The tiny little ice cream van that tootles round the estate takes debit card. Move with the times.
