Great customer service from the young girl behind the bar(she mentioned her name was hannah) she was very talkative and welcoming, I will definitely be returning :)

Had a drink in the beer garden/ outdoor area mid week, lunch time. The whole area was absolutely saturated in cigarette butts, covering all areas. Front of the main entrance, and the side grassed area. There was over flowing ashtrays on some of the tables, even though it was only 12.30 in the afternoon? Looked like they had not been emptied for a while. I could also see empty cigarette packets on the floor too. What a turn off ! The quantity of the butts made it obvious they had not been swept up for sometime. I only wish I had my phone with me to take photos of how bad it was. Overall the impression was not good, and the smell was awful. It made me think if the management don’t care about the cleanliness of the parts the customers see, what could the cleanliness of the parts of this establishment be that the customer doesn’t see? Surely if you had any respect for your business/customers you would make sure this simple task would be taken care of.

Nice place to eat. Child friendly. Staff are polite & quick with your food orders. Dog friendly too.

Booked a table for.december for lunch arrived and told kitchen closed then it would open at 2 then at 230 lol got up and left got the impression of chaos

Booked for luch today with my step daughter. Both of us agree the food was absolutely lovely (my step daughter is a picky eater so that's quite an achievement). We both had fish and chips and they were cooked to perfection, great size portions and value for money. To top it off the staff are lovely, friendly and helpful. Highly recommended 👌

Visit here at least once a fortnight if not once a week and we continue to come back every time. Food is amazing cannot fault especially for the price!! We ate today 7/12/22 for lunch and everything was polished by all so compliments to the chef 👌🏼 we will be back as usual. All the staff are very welcoming and helpful. Myself and my family came for a birthday meal on Friday, and all 8 of us was impressed with the quality of service we received, all our food was delicious and hot, it was even better when we was told we received a free drink with some of our meals. We will definitely recommend this place, well done guys my husband was really impressed and he’s a fussy sod. Keep up the good work and thank you X

Me and my husband came in for Sunday night tea. We ordered 6 of the small plates and they were all amazing! Absolutey love the new menu and the staff are brilliant aswell! Thankgod this is our local pub, we can pop in all the time.

Been in here twice - first time - really good - now new menu not so good - should not have changed. Having said that prices are very reasonable.

We visited for some Lunch. The menu was extensive with plenty of choices and was very great value for money. I had the mixed grill and my wife had the gammon. The portions were huge and the steak on the mix grill was superb. All of it well cooked and flavour full. The drinks menu choices again were extensive and reasonably price. Staff are very friendly and I would absolutely recommend.

I don't know what all the bad reviews are about on here for this place. must be jelousy or somthing, but we came here last night for a late tea and i cant fault it at all, the fresh sunday roast are amazing i had the beef and my fiance had the chicken it melted in our mouths, will definatly be back next sunday, cant complain for just £6.95 with a free pint or soft drink.

Went in for a quick pint after work and it was full of sweary chavs at the pool table which was a bit disappointing as the rest of the pub is really nice. The landlady was very friendly but it seems very much a free range dogs and kids sort of pub which isn’t really my style.

This was my first visit to the pub and will definitely be returning. The food was great (and plentiful). Service was quick and the staff really friendly. Would definitely recommend.

Cheap beer, good music and lovely food. Nice friendly bar staff also. Love this pub. Loads of places to park also which is a bonus in bamber bridge.

Everything started off fab with communication, they said they'd be able to accommodate 17 people for a surprise 60th (taking into account they knew we'd never ever been a whole family together before). Checked every so often that all was ok,sent menus out to family to pick what they wanted beforehand as it's what they wanted us to do. Everything picked , cake ordered, birthday extras ordered. Sent message to check what time we had booked and no reply. Left it few days left another message, no reply. Tried phone number, tried mobile, left email, left messenger message. Nothing! Panic set in and had to find somewhere else at short notice. No chance was I letting anyone ruin what we had planned. Even had my auntie try to get hold of them.

Trying to get a drink and place an order was a trial. Staff seemed not to notice how many were waiting and one waitress thought it more important to stack glasses than serve customers. The food was reasonable and very good value. It was very noisy with loud music and the loos were dirty

After moving to the area quite recently the Bream and Brycg has become my local and I drink in here and watch the football quite regularly. I have eaten here 3 times now and the food is fantastic value for money, especially the 2 main meals for around £10 which we have taken advantage of each time. However I was a little disappointed on my last visit when they didn't have any chicken goujons for starters as they're really quite tasty, even the salad and dressing is far better than what you usually expect from this kind of pub (cheap and cheerful). 2 out of the 3 times I have eaten here I have had the chicken Tikka Masala which is very tasty served with a naan and half and half or one or the other, chips or rice. My mum had the steak pie which was a great portion size and again incredibly flavorsome. All in all a decent clean pub with friendly staff and plenty going on sports wise offering numerous TVs showing all the latest games.Would recommend.

Not enough staff front of house and the one person on the bar in a busy pub never gets out of first gear. They have no idea of who came to the bar and when and quite frankly don't care. If I was the manager I'd clean the deecks and start again. Shame because the food is very good for a affordable price

Went to eat one Sunday afternoon/teatime. The pub was absolutely packed with people dining or watching football on tv. We had to wait a while for our food but when it came it was hot and tasty. Excellent value for money with pub grub meals at reasonable prices with good selection of beers and lagers. It was nice to see the old pear tree busy again with children and adults enjoying themselves. Well done!

Visited for Mother's Day and both the staff and the food are amazing. It was almost a different story this time however as the brewery have decided to remove the Fisherman's Platter... WHY??

The atmosphere is relaxing the staff are very polite the food is excellent, the prices are very competitive on Friday and Saturday evening's it's probably advisable to book as it can get very busy

Visited on recommendation and wasn't disappointed at all. Lovely decor and furnishings with friendly welcoming staff. The menu is typical British pub style and very reasonably priced.
