Called for coffee and cake having enjoyed a nice walk with the dog around the park. This is dog friendly and allows them inside where there are plenty of tables as well as outdoors. There are two rooms which are airy and have tables well spaced out.. A delightful selection of meals, cakes, drinks and more, they sell ice cream and dog ice cream They provide Vegan, gluten free and vegetarian options.

The owner and her assistant are lovely, welcoming people. Had the best cheese and tomato toastie I’ve ever had. Soooo tasty. We had to wait a while for the food but we weren’t in a rush, and the drinks came very quickly. Very good lemon drizzle cake too.

Brilliant place to grab a coffee on the go on sit in and do some work on the laptop, friendly staff, excellent coffee and tasty food

Just nipped in to grab some lunch. Skinny omelette was tasty with absolutely loads of filling, including big chunks of chicken. Excellent value for money. People were lovely too. No complaints at all.

Tea time local...We have eaten here on several occasions in the last few years and are happy to recommend the food as its really so delicious offering the usual pub favourites as well as regular food special events. It's a small 'no fuss' local with customers of all ages. The chef works hard and the food is always full of flavour...we particularly enjoy the Sunday roast. The meat is always perfectly cooked and gravy to die for 😋. The service is friendly and very helpful and if you nip in when it's chilly the log fire sets a really cosy atmosphere. They also have a good choice of beers at great prices as well as having some drinks offers. If you've driven or walked passed on many occasions then next time give it a go - you won't be disappointed in the food 👍🏻
