Friendly staff, nice real fire..Good food fAb

Had a roast dinner at the withy arms tonight and the lamb melted in my mouth. Plenty of gravy with a jug for extras. Even the veg was tasty. Made sure I saved room for the sticky toffee pudding which was delicious. The staff are great and very engaging. Lovely atmosphere and great music.

I've always had a pleasant time whether it's having a meal with friends or family or just enjoying a drink. Food is great N staff was very pleasant N made me feel welcomed n accepted my mobility scooter. Highly recommended 😆👍

Great local pub with great choices.

Walked in, got served almost immediately with a couple of cask beers a nice lager and a fruity cider, all in excellent condition. Made to feel welcome by some regular visitors. All in all a good experience.

Came in to try the new cocktails, Kieran smashed it. The chocolate orange martini & zombie were 11/10. Nowhere around the area to get cocktails! Great price to!!!

The food at the withy arms is absolutely amazing! I have never had a bad meal especially since Zoe became the manager! And she is an absolutely amazing manager and makes the place a fantastic place to go for a night out! Zoe is a fantastic manager and is fantastic with her staff and they have grown in confidence and they are amazing with all their customers!

Sorry but Not for me ! Found the pub to be quite dark and lacking in the homely feeling.

Most amazing place in the world. Feels like home and the staff (Jack Evan and jen) are absolutely incredible and make the atmosphere relaxing friendly and amazing. Always have the best time 🥰

Jack and Jen were both absolutely lovely and made the atmosphere with both the banter we could have with them and the jokes they had with each other!! They actually brought the drinks outside to us which was lovely and made the place feel really welcoming and a fab atmosphere for chilling in the beer garden on a Friday night!

Great service and food as usual. Although it was midweek due to the sun it was much busier. Evan and Mark did a great job of serving everyone.

First meal out in a while and it was wonderful!! Fresh, hot, tasty!! And didn't have to wait too long either! We will definitely be back

Beer prices are not bad at all!

Ok. Where to start. Booking - straight forward over the phone. Order on the app. Straight forward. Starters arrive - wings are good. Garlic bread could do with having garlic on it, important ingredient! Mains - initially delivered to another table - no communication of this. Resulted in an hour and fifteen minutes wait. Food ok. Deserts - ordered sticky toffee pudding. Was asked if we had ordered? Odd. What arrived was a very (microwaved) dry treacle sponge with custard. Drinks flowed - bar staff nice enough but completely disorganised and don’t seem to have a clue what’s going on. Fair to say this will be our last visit and can’t say that I would recommend anybody goes.

Lovely local bar Staff are very welcoming and friendly. I ordered the cottage pie off the special and can honestly say it was one of the best home made cottage pies I have had. Would definitely recommend stopping by for tea/lunch. Very good prices as well!

Food ok - bog standard . Says dogs welcome but doesn’t cater for families, no high chairs , no baby changing facilities , no one came to ask if our meal was ok, no one said bye to us when we left, perfect pub to drink with friends but not a family friendly place , wouldn’t go back

The staff were very professional and efficient, I was very impressed with their consideration e.g gave my dog a water bowl to drink from. The focus on cleaning tables as soon as customers left was reassuring and impressive. Food as always was yummy and presentation excellent.

I suffered a recent finger amputation which made life difficult. If it wasn't for these guys feeding me and my kids then I think I might have starved. Staff where really helpful and it's a lovely relaxed environmental. Well done to these guys. Food is also amaze.

Withy arms. Dad booked table sunday for half five. Got there no tables, rammed packed, no masks. Very disappointed.

As frequent users of this establishment & have eaten regularly without fault we are very disappointed in tonight’s meal. The food was cold & the potion of vegetable was quite shocking & the lack of concern by the staff & management was very disappointing. Only down to my persistence the manager did reimburse the meal but I still felt quite aggrieved due to his lack of concern. I would still eat at this establishment because 1 disappointed meal outways the service we normally get.

The Withy Arms is a nice pub but the only criticism is that the white wine is never served cold enough. Its not enough putting the bottle in an ice bucket if the wine is too warm to start with. This does not work.PLEASE ensure that your refridgerated storage area is cold enough to start with.A small but very important thing. Warm white wine is horrible.

Brilliant food and service Very helpful amazing staff

Went to the Withy Arms on a night out with family. We had a couple of drinks and a bite to eat, the food was delicious. We then decided to try other establishments in Bamber Bridge, this was a big mistake. We quickly returned to the Withy Arms and continued with our night out. There was a good atmosphere and very friendly staff.

Better experience when you can order at the bar, not enough staff for customers.

Went to try out the roast dinners as the last time we have been was in October 2018 when we moved to the area. Hannah was great on arrival, very efficiently sorted us out and showed us to the booth. The roast dinner was great, very good quality for the price you pay, £22 for two generous roasts and two pints. Rowdy behaviour was dealt with as best as possible by hannah as the football had been on, shame the other guests didn't have any respect for the staff. Keep doing what you're doing, it was a lovely experience, not a great dent on the wallet and we will definitely come back and try some more food:)

I arrived for drinks to be greeted by Zahra the barmaid insulting my personal appearance. Extremely rude. I made it very clear to the other bar staff that I did not want her serving my table again. After she kept ignoring that request and coming over, I spotted the owner leaving and told him what she had done and how disgusted I was. After reassurances it would be resolved I went back to my table. She came back to my table again and I told her to leave and that I had spoken to the owner. 5 minutes later the manager came and asked me to leave. He insulted me further by calling me a bully to Zahra by telling her I had reported her to the owner, and also disrespectful for going over his head to the owner. Absolutely shocking behaviour!

I love visiting this pub, the food is delicious. I absolutely loved having a Christmas dinner in May, an excellent idea. The staff were friendly and professional as always.

Refused entry cause of urban wear dresscode, yet I noticed people where already welcome in there sporting Nike and lacoste lol. Why would I dress like I'm going to the ritz just to go in there. It's nothing special just a pub lol never herd anything like it. This place just gives the impression it is very cliquey and rules only apply to unknown faces. Went to yew tree instead where the food was lovely and the staff where very welcoming to gym fanatics lol.

What more can I say? I ordered the fish and it was so fresh they must of caught it when I was at the bar! Best chips about as well! I’m from down south so I have to say the cost of the pints was a lovely surprise not a lot of places you can get a pint of Stella for under £3.50! I arrived to the Withy Arms soaking wet and in a bad mood but I left the place happiest I’ve been and floating!

Visited this pub for a meal after work. I ordered fish and chips but they had ran out - was disappointed with this. Therefore, decided to order the scampi and chips. As you can see from the picture, the food was not presented very well. The peas were cold and I had to request them to provide me with heated ones and they did this - thank you.The scampi was awful. it was just pieces of fried scampi nuggets, no taste and bland. and the chips do not look like homemade chips as described on the menu. frozen chips i am assumingThe price of the meal was reasonable £6.95. You received a meal and a drink too.

Booked a table from 5 for food and drinks for my brothers birthday. The Food and Drink ordering App was very easy to use. The Manager and staff were clearly working really hard to deliver good customer service. First time we've sat inside a pub and felt very comfortable thank you Withy Arms.

So today being the 16 the september.myself and my husband came in for lunch as we have always done .and was immediately stopped as my husband had ( trackies ) on it's never been a problem before . Were is the dress code listed or ever been used . Needless to say we left and went to the yew tree were dress code isn't a problem .and definitely now won't be going to the withy arms again .the place only had one set of customer in so you don't value any customers 🤬

Booked a table for a family meal,good service, excellent food my only complaint is that there is no Childrens Menu!and the plates should have been hot.small niggles but would greatly improve your eating experience.

Made to feel very welcome. Covid precautions more than adequate and strictly adhered to. The meals were excellent as was the range of beers.

Arrived 5 minutes before our reservation @ 18.15 to a bar full of dirty glasses and a bar person trying to find our table which seemed to be non existent.Opposite the bar was a reserved table for 18.00 but no diners.Eventually 2 chairs were taken from other occupied tables and we were shown to an empty table.Drinks were eventually brought but no menus so after 15 mins my husband approached the bar only to have our reservation checked for the second time and now told there was a 45 minute wait for food.By now customers were queuing at the door and a member of staff seemed to be running around like a headless chicken.As it was now 30 minutes from our reservation and a further 45 minutes before the possibility of food we left.I feel cheated that we weren't told on arrival that food was delayed and not given the opportunity to leave ,instead we were allowed to buy drinks and delayed in having any chance of a meal,pure greed on the part of this establishment.Finally during the 30 mins there no track and trace was offered,so no chance of being contacted in case of anyone being covid positive.Normally we would not vent our annoyance at the staff but they knew the situation was dire and honesty would have been the best policy.Poor poor poor one star is too much for this place .
