The best restaurants serving Other cuisines food in South Lakeland North West

Awful! We have been here quite a few times to have lunch in the garden. Always been good. Not on our final trip. The food we received was not what we ordered. Seeing as we were the only ones there I found it confusing how they could get it so wrong. We were asked to pay for the meal before we were served it. We complained and said we will go elsewhere as they were so slow. We asked for our money back and we got rude comments muttered under their breath. We will never go back which is ashame as it was once really lovely and the food yummy. Not any more. I've given one star for the carpark chap who was very pleasant.

Fab little cafe. Really friendly staff, especially young man who offered food left over when closing. Coffee great too. Do go.

Staff really good super quick and food was super good definitely going to come back here soon easy to find as it’s tucked away in the garden centre but has signs that show where it is

We had Sunday lunch at the Red Lyon Inn, I had the pork which was delicious & my husband had the beef again his was delicious. Despite the pub getting busier we didn’t have to wait long for our meals. The staff are lovely and friendly too and can’t do enough for you. We will definitely be going here to eat in the future. Thank you Red Lyon Inn.

Very down side is no dogs allowed. I have caravan close by and most my neighbours have dogs but they don't visit the pub. Shame

stayed here for 4 nights really nice welcome young man showed us to room helped up with cases room clean house keepers in every day toping coffee towels etc beds really comfortable residents get 10percent of food and drinks food really good nice hearty breakfast always served with a smile would definatly go back carry on the good work all the team

Upon walking into the pub,I was met with a female shouting from behind the bar”how old are those lot”I had not even got to the bar at this point,I then told her they were 17 and 18,she then shouted “well get out”they are not old enough,this was approximately 6.30pm,this person clearly needs to work on their interpersonal skills ,very poor attitude from someone who is customer facing.

Outstanding food, really friendly staff, cozy and nice atmosphere with a Woodburning fire. One of the best steak and ale pies I’ve had!

In desperate need of a sit down, & a cold drink, on a hot day, I called in here for a milk shake. I`ll be honest, I never use any Costa outlets, I always try to use independent outlets, but this was handy, & as I said, & needed a drink. You wouldn`t think a milk shake could be spoiled, would you? Well this place certainly can, It was supposed to be strawberry, but it was basically coloured milk. So sadly Costa lived up to my expectations, they have no idea how to serve a proper drink. Avoid this terrible place.

Filled up with petrol, went to the toilet in the petrol station, I have never seen anything as disgusting at loo , I could not use it . Went and reported it to the 2 staff members who was to busy chatting instead of maybe doing a bit of house keeping when it quiet, fo r the price you pay for fuel, clean toilets are a minimum you should be getting. Disgusting.

We stayed for 2 nights B&B in the wonderful friendly and cosy "Ye Olde Fighting Cocks" at Arnside, with views over the estuary for our 55th Wedding Anniversary. Comfy bed and shower, are our main criteria, and both were great. Staff were open and friendly as well as super efficient even the customers were open and friendly. To cap it all the food at both breakfast and Dinner were superb. I would recommend it to anyone especially walkers, because there's so much to see.

Unhelpful staff. Items quite dear. Full of children running around without parental control. Unsafe for a Visually Impaired person.

Vape,Vape,Vape, thought it was illegal to vape in pubs in England, not so!!! Just visit Churchills in Boness & vape to your heart’s content. You couldn’t make it up, twinned with the slaughterd lamb!
