Now known as QUAYSIDE. Great restaurant, we had a beef and ale pie and a lamb shoulder, both meals were excellent! Service was great too and the restaurant itself is nicely presented. We'd been here the previous evening for drinks and it was a good atmosphere. Been here previously and I'm sure we'll be back.

If you're in the area you must try this place, the flat iron steaks are delicious. Service is fairly quick and polite and the atmosphere is good... it's a good idea to book a table because it's very popular with the local people....This restaurant did close down and I'm not sure if it's still closed.

We Stayed at the bridge house which is lovely.. service first class, however part of our package was a meal included. This is served at the inn in Grasmere. Food mediocre, same menu day after day… ?? However, my main complaint is the service, bordering rude and then ask if you want to add service charge.. really.. this is an appreciation of good service, in this case the bar was not met !

Lake Districk expensive.. 20% more expensive than at home but it is what it is I guess. Pub feels a bit clinical, lighting needs toning down, loads of downlights, no atmosphere.. a bit of social club vibe, which is a shame for such a great building. The attached (?) restaurant, Enzos feels the same. Standard cafe tables, harsh lighting. Lacks atmosphere, I wanted to eat and get out tbh. Service was really really good. Nice staff, friendly and efficient

A grim February day, rain whipping in from the fells. Hungry, cold and miserable, we trudged through Sedbergh looking for lunch and at the Dalesman found just what we needed. A friendly welcome, the warmth of a real fire, great local beers and sensational food. They do an amazing hotpot, and the pie… that pastry! Thank you Dalesman. Looking forward to the next time.

Came here for the swallows and Amazon afternoon tea with my daughter and friend. The quality of the food and tea was excellent, the view from the dining room stunning, facilities and decor lovely and the staff in the restaurant who attended to us were wonderful. We considered it good value.

If I could give zero I would. Dirty, crap quality food. Kids hotdog was ridiculously small - where it was 1/4 of a hot dog bun and a small hot dog for £10! Tables sticky and drinks fridge sticky too. Adult hot dog smelt funny like it was off. All in all grosse. Avoid and go to McDonald’s over the road!

Disappointing. Ideally located on the main street but not somewhere we'd go again. Ambience was non-existent, toilet facilities unsanitary and the waitresses having to deal with being shouted at (unfairly) by whoever was in the back. Food took a while to arrive and was expensive for what was on the plate. There's much nicer cafes to spend your money in, don't waste your time in here.

Loved this place! Great location with excellent views of Lake Windermere and the marina. Friendly, professional and attentive staff - a little wait while they were busy but we just look in the views and our delicious cocktails (pomegranate daquari and espresso martini) arrived in no time! Highly recommend!

we were staying at the hotel so had dinner and breakfast here first thing to be are of is DOGS, not one or two, but everywhere, there is dog friendly and a dog hotel... this is the latter...on entering the bar to get to the restaurant you have to go through a narrow part of the bar, here there were dogs at every table, and each time a new canine friend came in we were greeted with barking, growling and owners making a vain attempt to control them, that was , all except the one dog who was seated on a chair, feet on the table having his dinner. disgusting and unacceptable We were seated in the restaurant and again surrounded by dogs I went to get drinks, a pint and a port and lemonade, six cask ale hanpulls, only one in use, I asked for a taste, dreadful, cloudy, old and sour.. the glass was left on the bar for the rest of the evening , not cleared away along with an ever growing number of dirty glasses.. Port and lemonade I had to explain that one, and at £2.70 for a dash of lemonade , what a rip off So, to ordering dinner, choose what you want, take tour order with your table number to the bar and order, simple, nope, not when there is only one ,member of staff taking orders and serving drinks and coffees as well..andy way three attempts over 30 mins and the order was in Chowder starter was good, as were the black pudding crumpets, we waited for out mains to come out, but desserts arrived... not ours, then the main arrived, again ok, the steak was small but well cooked Breakfast, more dogs , buffet style, plus extras fresh cooked, eggs royale were good, all good and served well Check out was lovely, the lasting memory of our stay But please Inn Collection, review your dog policy, tone it down, some of us, whilst dog lovers ourselves, find it unhygienic and intrusive

Tried the drive thru...waited and waited was nobody home?, Was it closed? Reversed out and entered the shop and waited at the counter and waited and waited....3 or 4 staff just chatting away oblivious to customers. 17:00 pm on Saturday. Outstanding service.
