We've been into Gracie's a few times, we are finding the service getting worse. Never told there is a wait for food and we waited 40 mins for a sausage muffin and bacon muffin. Coffees the same wait. It seems they are running two businesses, a cafe and takeaway, more takeaway meals being given first to taxi drivers than atuall meals served in the cafe. Only one lady taking orders, doing drinks and clearing tables. I heard two people complaining to her while we waited.Sadly we won't be going again.

Honest and helpful staff is what i would call the staff at this establishment. This is due to my partner losing a bracelet in the toilets on our night out on Saturday 4th of May. I rang up and the staff had the bracelet in their lost property . We received it back on the following Sunday. Thankyou to the staff and the person who handed it in to them. Its nice to know there as still some honest and good people out there.Thankyou

We’re in town from North Carolina and we enjoyed this restaurant thoroughly. Mike is extremely hospitable and was able to give each of us a laugh. Every entrée each of us ordered was cooked to perfection. The music was great. The scenery was beautiful, and we even had some pretty drinks on the side. Can’t leave out the dessert!! The Biscoff cheesecake is amazing. Mike wears many hats!! Definitely marking Cheshire Grill as a local favorite !! Cheers

**Update** from my below Covid lockdown review. With Covid well in the past when I first wrote a review, the pub is back to our favorite go to place for a pint and a meal. It has something for everyone, family, socialising or a works meeting. Wouldn't spend my money anywhere else. (**Old review**)....Staff are overwhelmed at times which is not there fault. Seems to be the same amount of poor staff waiting on, no matter how many tables are booked. They are always welcoming, even though they are run off their feet. Management need to give their head a wobble during busy periods and provide back up staff.

We did not stay here but went to the restaurant for food. The menu is only Sunday roasts on a Sunday (not sure if they will make anything else) but would really recommend the roast. We each had chicken, lamb or beef dinners and all were very good. Food came out quickly and they will cook the meat to your liking. The paid extras of pigs in blankets were good but the cauliflower cheese was a bit watery. They also have a good range of drinks to choose from. Staff are very friendly.

We (numbering 14) had our pre-Christmas social at Café Bar 26 last night (10 Dec) - and the whole experience was brilliant!! The seasonal main course was absolutely great - and the chocolate & orange cake was superb!! While the mulled wine was so good I had 2 glasses! Even the non-vegans amongst us were blown away. And the Café even managed to cope with 2 last-minute arrivals. So I'll definitely be voting for us to return for all future socials.

Visiting the UK from Canada with my husbans and decided to stop into this little bar/restaurant as we were walking passed because we noticed what looked like a poutine on someones table. We walked inside, and low and behold there was a sign for poutines. Sceptical, because we werent sure how authentic it would be (as you need squeeky cheese curds for it to be a REAL poutine.) We decided to order it as we were informed the chef is Canadian, and he sourced the real stuff! YUP! It was delicious, and squeeky. Good price as well. Nice small beer on tap selection. Lovely staff, very attentive, polite and they seemed to be enjoying themselves, which is nice to see! Recommend you stop by for a drink and a poutine! Great Job to The Cornerhouse!
