The Coffee House in Liverpool

Went to get breakfast today (menu online says serve bfast til 2pm). Arrived to find they don't open until 3pm most days!! Need to update times on menu. Will try to visit again when it's open, on another day!

Went for a Sunday roast, excellent service, beers, and food. Even the dog got a roast dinner!

Great place and reasonably priced.

A little gem when you have a doggo. Just had food. Fish and peas very tasty. Not keen on the chips as appear oven chips. Large portion of chicken for my doggie 😁 Great selection of beers, spirits and wines. Also a singer thrown in.

We have started to call into The Dog House more regularly as it has a lovely atmosphere and it's very chilled

Nice environment, good choice of drinks and helpful staff. But the food was poor quality and not good value for money. Had to send stuff back as it was a cold. No usual bread for the Scouse so presented with cheap sliced white bread. Everything very salty. Not worth the money, would rather bought crisps. Go for a drink but defo not for food.

Always enjoy coming here. Staff are great and always look after us. The wine tasting evening was really good with an excellent buffet. Valentines quiz was great fun too! Couldn't have a better 'local' 😊

Had a lovely night at the Wine Tasting event, met so many nice people and had a really good laugh.... Paula laid on a lovely buffet to go with the wine. She was a great host and the night ran smoothly.....we will definitely be returning ......

Busy, slow food service but otherwise okay.

Lost out on a star because the bartender mistakenly poured a half of Guinness when it should have been a full pint. He then proceeded to amend this mistake by pouring the half into the full glass, and topping it up. Anyone who knows Guinness knows this is an absolute sin!

Atmosphere is so warm and friendly, the staffs effort for halloween was excellent. Amazing costumes and even sweets on the bar! Staff are amazing with our dog, puppicinos and treats are a special touch.

The best pub with the friendliest staff. Paula is the heart and soul of it. The only issue I have, is that once you go in there it’s impossible to get out - that’s until Julie kicks you out at the end of the night! Get down there and experience the warmth yourself.

Staff are warm and welcome ,food is amazing and the effort for Halloween 🎃 was incredible,well worth a visit

Atmosphere lovely and very welcoming and dog friendly. Staff are lovely. However the food today was awful, had the buttermilk chicken burger and the chicken was extremely overcooked very hard and chewy.

This a decent place to have a drink. I would prefer to have more local beer on keg, Brewdog and Tiny Rebel are fine, but there are loads of local breweries doing beers of similar styles.

Great find. Absolutely packed, but I still found a table 6pm on a Saturday. Took the dog and the staff were great looking after him and us !

One of the best bars in Mossley Hill, not only does it welcome dogs, it encourages their attendance... All goers are dog keenos! Live music, great beer selection although cider options can be improved. Lots of staff, never waited more than 30 seconds to be served and the place was heaving.

What a gorgeous bar and fabulous atmosphere! Sadly, the bouncer took a very keen dislike to one of our party. I am acutely aware of bouncer regulations and I know all about when to remove people and when to give warnings. I’m completely disappointed in one of the bouncers who decided my friend was “too drunk” and said they would kick him out “after he finished his last drink.” As we all know, if you feel a client is causing immediate harm to themselves or others, you would remove them ASAP. It seems the bouncer took a dislike to him and more of the group, accusing others of “bumping into other guests.” When other guests were queried on said “bumping into them” they had no idea what the bouncer was referring to. I understand being a bouncer isn’t the easiest job, nor is the clientele. However, had a removable offence been committed, it would be expected the culprit be removed with immediate effect. This didn’t happen and it seemed the bouncer was acting on a whim rather than professional conduct. I would expect a lot better from what seems to be a wonderful and welcoming establishment otherwise.

Lovely red wine here! Great atmosphere. Can get a bit noisy- the acoustics need sorting. Maybe some more soft furnishings to soak up the noise. Just a thought 😁 All of the above was written a long time ago. Now, although the live entertainment is great and welcome, why do the artists insist on amplifiers? The place is far too small for that amount of noise. It's uncomfortable now. We had to scream at each other to be heard. Not recommended 😕

Really really top bar with excellent and friendly staff and absolutely delicious vegetarian options. Highly recommended, especially the popcorn cauliflower.

They allow dogs and is such a lovely place to sit in. Always has a good vibe. Wednesday night is such a relaxing night here. Just a lovely place to go for a drink.

Really recommend! Cocktails are well made, the food is delicious with a reasonable vegetarian range, and the service was brilliant, Ben on wait staff was attentive and lovely! Thanks The Dog House, we'll be back!

Amazing food and really nice, clean and cosy atmosphere. All dogs are kept on a lead!! The only place amongst the restaurants/pubs around serving food after 7:30pm on a Monday night!

You can eat dinner even after 8pm!!! Not like the places around. All the dogs were on a lead! Good food, different kind of tasty beers and other alcoholic drinks.

Absolutely loved my evening at the Dog House, Liverpool. The cocktails were fast, good and reasonably priced. I am putting this on the top of my list for places to go. You can even hire a beer van to come to your house. We'll done guys🍹

Visited for a late lunch and had a vegan hotdog with fries and shared some halloumi fries with my partner. He had the currywurst and fries as a main. We both enjoyed the food, the decor was nice, and the service was quick.
