Called in for drinks. Stayed for a couple. Really enjoyed it.

Great for a quick drink and catch up with friends! We came here to catch up with some family friends and it was a great pub with reasonable prices. Staff were welcoming and friendly. Definitely would recommend this pub.

Not a very welcoming place. I'd suggest not going here if you are a member of the LGBTQ community I didn't feel welcome

The food here has changed since the 4.5star review. They used to have fabulous food from various pop up kitchens. Since the new management, a new kitchen is cooking permanently. The menu is limited and barely edible. We ordered several dished. One word to describe the food would be cardboard. The fish and chicken was like deep fried cardboard. The chips tasted days old and refried to within an inch of its life, limp and dark brown.

We popped in for food and drink, however found the menu rather limited and based on this we decided to just have a drink. Having walked in, it felt very much like a 'locals' pub.. contrary to other reviews and the Pride flag.. we did not experience a welcoming or inclusive vibe. We visited many pubs in the area and this was the only one that we had this negative feeling about. The pub benefited from quite a large beer garden, which was a lovely sun trap... we were pleased about this, as we would not have felt comfortable staying inside. Personally, if we returned to Nantwich, we would not return to the Oddfellows Arms.

Nothing personal. But no other flag should fly above your countries flag. Under it is ok.

Lovely relaxed friendly environment! Nothing is ever too much for the staff and they are very LGBTQ+ friendly.

Wow what can I say. 2nd time here, for a Sunday roast. Excellent. Would highly recommend this place. Excellent food. Friendly staff. Dog friendly. Lovely ambiance to the place. Such a cosy and friendly pub, would definitely recommend it to friends and family. Good choice of beers, wine and other drinks. Coffee and tea also available. Outside garden area to chill and unwind with friends. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐🥰🥰🥰🥰

Bar staff amazing landlord needs to be removed. came from upstairs telling me to be quite as he was unwell and it was his home Then please explain to me why the public house was open for myself and husband to have a drink nothing said about staff playing the piano oh It was only 15.00 in the afternoon wishing we had just walked past as I completely lost it

Nice friendly pub out of the town but all the better for that, landlord and staff are great and always friendly, well worth a visit with lots of choice on the drink front so won't be disappointed.

Great pub and newly re done garden is fabulous (great sun trap too). With a group of friends, we spent a very happy Coronation Sunday afternoon and evening in the garden. Kevin was on BBQ duty and the food was excellent. Good selection of beers and always a welcoming atmosphere.

Absolutely! One of my favorite pubs in Nantwich is the Oddfellows Arms. The staff is always friendly and welcoming, making each visit feel like coming home. This is an excellent Pub. Fully recommend a Visit.

Wow, what a superb find on a Sunday afternoon. Keeping it simple. No starters (you certainly don’t need any), just a choice of about 3 or 4 roasts and another 4 or 5 dishes including steak pie and cheese pie to name a couple. We ordered our roasts and were amazed at what was served after a very short wait. Our plates were so full of large, thick slices of meat, roast and mashed potatoes, yorkshire’s and gravy that the veg was brought on another plate, again served fresh with plenty of choice. Roasties even tasted home cooked. In fact, we’d say this was the best roastie dinner we’ve ever tasted that wasn’t cooked at home. Coupled with a lovely atmosphere in a cosy, friendly pub with attentive staff and background music/videos to entertain. The owner/cook/chief bottle washer himself personally came to check everything was ok for us. All for a very welcome cost of £10.95 pp. We will certainly be returning. Word of warning, only 20 covers are currently offered for Sunday Lunch, but this will no doubt change when their new bistro is built at the back.

Proper pub atmosphere with good San Miguel on draft

Called in here today whilst driving around. Not a huge menu but it does the job. Hot chilli con carne and a lasagne. Crikey what a portion. Very tasty and the chips were nice. Excellent value for money. Polite barman when entering. Sat watching the darts and just chilled with a nice moretti. Would call again. Edit: new Easter menu coming in so look out peeps.

Good local pub, beer and staff always up to scratch, and toilets perfectly cleaned which is appreciated. 👍

One of the best pubs I have been to, very friendly staff, willing to take time to talk to you and the customers also talk, unlike many other pubs. We have only used the oddfellows in nantwich and can't see any reason not to. Even the guys who are landing scaping the rear garden are friendly, very good atmosphere.

Great Pub. This establishment is just a short walk from moorings on the canal. Tried Wainwright and Old Empire IPA real ales both are well kept. Kevin the landlord works hard to make this a great friendly and relaxing pub. Food offering is simple pub food at realistic prices.

Drinks only at the pub last night it’s very nice inside and clean nice staff give us a warm welcome it’s was the first back in the pub for around 30 years ! We hope to get back before then next time.

Came for the quiz and really enjoyed it, even though was the hardest quiz I have ever been too! Very welcoming team and locals!

I absolutely love this pub. The hospitality is brilliant. The owners and staff always go above and beyond for their customers. The food is always great and is a reasonable price too. I have recommended this pub to many of my friends.

I called in yesterday for a pint. It was a nice old pub with a wonderfully traditional interior. The atmosphere was good and they serve a decent collection of real ale. They also have Moretti and Coors on draught, too. I don't know what the food is like but it seems like a pleasant sort of place. A great place for a quiet, relaxing drink.

Wow! Had a fabulous night here last night. Everything a pub should be and more. Drinks at pre-Pandemic prices, too. Makes me want to move back to Nantwich after 35 years!

Wet fish landlord. Drinks not too bad on price but my god the landlord has the personality of a wet fish. Needs to work on that being behind a bar!!!

We wanted to sample the new landlord's cooking (Kevin) and we were not disappointed! We had roast beef with all the trimmings, it was superb and great value for money. We will be back, but top tip, skip breakfast or you will struggle!

It's a pub nothing more nothing less. Drunk people waking and disturbing neighbours. Patrons complain about no WiFi I thought the entire purpose of a pub was to be social not sit with ya head in a screen

Very good traditional pub, with popup food options, occasional live music and a good choice of real ales.

They might be odd, but they are great fellows! Amazing cozy and comfortable pub with insanely good musicians on their open mic night! Our family decided to drive an hour just to be able to go again! While they didn't have food at the time, they recommended we get take-out and bring it back. They even happily provided us with cutlery and napkins. Really great people and friendly locals! Highly recommend going to their open-mic night!

Okay little pub but the beer is a bit expensive for what it is

I've visited this establishment several times with my wife and children over the years and it pains me DEEPLY to say what was once a family friendly, sociable, dated yet also modern 'Gastro-brewery' has become another dog and duck. If you want cold food and expensive drinks this would be right up your alley.

Good selection of real ales. Although on this visit the kitchen was closed, it being January 3rd. The music playlist is a private compilation collected over the years by the landlord who I spoke to on my last visit, it's amazing, completes the visit.

Lovely old pub. Great atmosphere. Friendly staff. Dog friendly. Just one possible downside. If like me, you are 6ft 3ins, you will have to be careful due to the low ceiling and beams!

Nice cosy pub with fantastic beer garden. Good staff a great beer. They still have covid screens over the complete length of the bar. Therefore sitting at the bar is not a great experience.

After a hard days work fitting some new doors on the boat, I was hoping to treat my dad & I to a pint.We got turned away from every pub we tried bar this one.We were welcomed with open arms.The Italian girl was so pleasant too.After getting turned away from other pubs , it felt amazing to sit in this brilliant old cosy pub after almost giving up on the idea.So thankyou for our lovely pint and a bag of crisps each, you made our night complete.

Really great pub. Friendly staff and great music. Definitely one to visit with the big beer garden at the back. Staff are very attentive and theres really good atmosphere inside and out.

Came here for a few drinks and managed to get seating outside under their massive marquee.. Great beer and good and friendly service, by Isabelle. Hope the outside marquee is kept after we are let back inside the pubs.

Went in with my housemates. Showed proof of us living together. Barmaid shouted across the pub she worked for Cheshire Lamont and didn’t think it was legitimate. Said we could sit outside and started pouring us drinks. Told her to stop as we’d sooner spend elsewhere which we did. Imagine thinking you could talk down to someone because you work for Cheshire Lamont. Oddfellows, Oddlady.
