Your chicken tikka is absolutely mouthwatering! The flavors are perfectly balanced, and the tenderness of the chicken is just divine. The spices used in the marinade are so aromatic, making each bite a delightful experience. I could eat this dish every day without getting tired of it. Definitely a 5-star rating from me!

My wife and I always make a bee line for the Talbot due to the food after a day out in Cheshire. On the odd occasion we just travel there.."Why".. because they serve the best Steak pie around,and after a busy day, what a way to relax and chill. Highly recommended..cheers

Could do with a good hoover,foods ok if you like freezer/ microwave food then young lady behind the bar is helpful and pleasant otherwise hardly any service to speak of

The place and atmosphere is brilliant would absolutely recommend and go again without a doubt! The staff are fantastic and very polite they helped out and even recommended food! Food was served brilliantly and very good servings!

Brilliant food..Steak was cooked to perfection. We both like it well done, yet it was still juicy inside. Portion size was perfect lovely chips, but not too many, so clean plates went back. The staff are friendly and the pub is always clean and tidy. Excellent.

One of our favourite pubs and the food is superb. We came for steak night. Steak and a drink for £12.75 with the option to upgrade for £1. We had sirloin steak and we both like ours very well done. It was cooked to perfection just how we like it and still very juicy. The chips were, I think, triple cooked and the onion rings didn't disintegrate when bitten, always a good sign. We have eaten here before, we had the mixed grill last time which was just as good, and we will return. Josh and Josh do a brilliant job and Jade is a great barmaid. We definitely recommend it.

Me and my family came to the talbot on Sunday 21st of April 2024, we had an amazing experience the Sunday dinner was amazing and certainly worth the price, the service was perfect. 5* will be returning

What an absolute hole! The beer garden is absolutely covered in dog waste clearly hasn’t been cleaned in a while. Absolutely stinks 💩

I was looking for a real ale pub and another local pub suggested this place. On arrival there was only one on offer: Marston's Pedigree, that I ordered. The pub was nearly empty. Also I needed to use the men's toilet only to discover that there was no toilet paper. So I spoke to the barman who was chatting to the only other customer and he apologised but quickly rectified the issue. The lock on the cubicle was damaged so I used a foot to keep it closed. The damage appeared to be long term so needs to be addressed. The beer was okay at best plus after settling it was not quite a full pint. Not an issue as I only wanted one beer.

Staff very friendly really enjoyed working the door there over bank Holiday food looked amazing the landlords josh and josh are really nice guys too and I would work there on the door for them anytime

Been visiting regularly since the new management have taken over…. What a breath of fresh air! Always a warm welcome, fab and filling food and great priced drinks! Huge bonus is that the place is dog friendly and they are welcomed with open arms! Wishing you guys all the best and can’t wait to see what else you bring to the business! Well don!

Called in whilst in town and decided to try the food! We had the hunters chicken which was really tasty, the service was excellent. Met the new management who took the time to talk to us and tell us about their future plans and all the hard work they’re putting in to make your visit a fab experience. We have eaten at the Talbot for many years. When it closed an re-opened under new management we had concerns about the direction it might go. We needn't have worried, it is still a great place to eat and have a few beers. There is a marked improvement in the atmosphere, and I understand the managers have plans for some special events. Customer service is excellent. I would recommend everyone gives it a go, but then I might have trouble booking a table. Haha

Popped into The Talbot today at lunch time. Lovely welcome from staff. The new management are obviously working hard to create an amazing atmosphere and enjoyable experience for their customers. Had the southern fried chicken burger and chips which was really nice. The service was very efficient and the pub lovely and clean. Will definitely be back when in Nantwich. Thank you for a very pleasant couple of hours.

New management are really working hard to turn this place around, which is coming off the back of a bad reputation. Great news to hear food is returning, and initiatives such as Quiz Nights are a really good idea!

I visited the the talbot tonight and the atmosphere of the pub was amazing! It’s was clean and welcoming from the staff. The bonus was how welcoming they were to the dogo they asked before and they give him a treat, and provided a fresh water bowl for him. Very dog friendly pub if you’re around town and fancy a pint definitely stop by. I was told food is coming very soon so can’t wait to stop by for it when it arrives.

We had a great time here. The barman was friendly and we had a good chat with him. Can't comment on the food as when we visited they weren't serving. It was very quiet so somewhat lacked an atmosphere but that wouldn't put me off going back.

The staff member on (Adam) was incredibly friendly and happy to chat with us. Decent prices and a good environment. I'll definitely be returning.

Brilliant family friendly pub we had a lovely beef and onion baguette with a side of fries. The barmaid Donna recommended some drink I went for the Stella that was a really nice pint

We called in here as we were shopping in Nantwich, called in here about 4 years ago 4 Breakfast Baguette. We were well impressed when we visited again this Time.It was still a Lovely Tasty breakfast baguette, and the Latte coffee was lovely 2.. Thank u.

Spot on place to come to for food. Large portions, quality food and excellent service. The waiter was a respectfull young gentleman called sideshow, to whom we gave compliments to the chef. Recommended place to eat and drink and will definitely return soon.

We attended a family get together at The Talbot on Saturday 29th July. I have to say what an excellent experience we all had great atmosphere, a superb buffet and excellent staff that need to be congratulated on their service with a smile approach. Nothing was too much trouble. The place was clean and spotless including the toilets. We all had thoroughly good time. Thank you to The Talbot and your team.

Came in on Monday for some food and a couple of drinks couldn’t fault it in any way food and drinks were absolutely amazing bar staff and waitress were very welcoming and friendly even gave me recommendations on what to drink as there is so much to choose from. Definitely be returning great place

The food was excellent the atmosphere was fantastic. There is music playing throughout the pub and it plays outside the the front of the pub too. There is a jukebox just next to the front door in which you have a wide variety of music to choose from. The staff were lovely and friendly to us. Happy to inform us about the current offers they have on. They have a lovely display of all their spirits and the seats were very comfy. I will be comming again soon

The talbot is a great atmosphere with lovely staff and all the sports channels it’s a great place to come down with the lads for a pint but not only that the food is incredible and great place to spend quality family time

Really lovely place we were greated as soon as we walk in with a smile and hello. The food was great we couldnt eat it all there was that much we took a doggy bag home. Also my husband loves guinness he said it was a fab pint the girl behind the bar even put a shamrock init the kids were facinated we left feeling so happy 😊

We had the beef Sunday roast delivered yesterday. It was on time and super tasty. Great price and easy to pay by either cash or payment link. The food was hot. All fresh vegetables and the gravy was delicious! The picture doesn’t do it justice so sorry about the presentation.

Popped in for lunch as recently moved to the area with my family & was greeted by a lovely guy who couldn't do enough for us & the food was great but could actually of fed 2 of us & the manager Christopher offered to box it up for us to take home & we really felt welcomed thank you we will be returning again & too add the cheesecake was beautiful X

Myself and a group of friends arranged to meet at The Talbot late last week. As we arrived we realised we were unable to get a table on the front of the pub however whilst at the bar the staff informed us of the beer garden to the rear. They had a great selection of drinks available, however we opted to make the most of ‘fizz Friday’ so we ordered a few of bottles of Prosecco and headed out the back, and what a lovely hidden gem! We decided to have something to eat, as there was a large group of us I was a little apprehensive service maybe a little slow as we have experienced previously elsewhere, how wrong was I. We had a mixture of homemade meals & snacks, they arrived promptly and we were left with clean plates all round. We would just like to say a massive thankyou to the girls behind the bar who were fab and we will definitely be back!

What a pleasant surprise to find this pub tucked away. I have to say the food was amazing!! I had the cottage pie with cheese topping with chips.(home made) While my friend had a curry. The presentation itself was great, but the food was excellent!! Then the puddings, yummy,yummy. I had the jam sponge with custard and my friend had the waffles with chocolate and cream. (think it was that). Again presentation lovely. Tasted so nice really great food. The staff were ALL very polite and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. The atmosphere in there was electric, football was on the tv. But people were not loud and rude. It was a great experience for our first visit. Can not wait to go back again. Yours Michelle
