Cafe V76 in Sefton

As a “MANC”, I thought the best thing in Liverpool was the road out to Mcr, but I have to admit that the BLT I had at Cafe V76 opposite Marine’s football ground was fantastic. I look forward to having to visit Marine FC again, purely to have one of their excellent BLT sandwiches! The large cup of coffee served was equally of good quality! Thank you ladies, I don’t usually write reviews, but my experience of your food and service deserved much credit and a recommendation for others! MANC Dave x

This is the first time we've been here and our initial impressions were that it was beautifully decorated, clean, spacious and welcoming. The lady that took our order was really nice and friendly. Good choice of breakfasts and bagels with assorted fillings. Wide choice of drinks (including wine and prosecco). We chose the Chicken Bagel and Club Bagel with 2 pots of tea. Omg it was absolutely delicious! We would definitely return.

Called on for lunch. Great place, fab service and food.

Eaten here a good few times & never been disappointed! The menu, in particular the breakfast options are great. The owner & staff are also super friendly.

Met my friends here this morning for breakfast. Delish poached egg on toast, perfectly cooked. Friends were all happy with their orders. Great atmosphere and lovely staff. Defo go back! 👍👍

I come here with my wife on a regular basis and I must say this is a lovely cafe. It has a great atmosphere with excellent food and service. I highly recommend this cafe to anyone visiting the area or any locals.

Nice little cafe but you get very little value for the food. The waitress was great and the set up was fine so I give 3 stars but based on food alone I would give 2 stars. Extremely overpriced for very basic meal, mostly just a few bits of veg on toast.

Best avocado and poached eggs in Crosby.

Poor service, no one at the front to greet customers. Not attentive at all, I had to go to the kitchen to make them aware they have customers at the front and again to get my bill. Food is basic

Had a lovely brunch here t'other day. Very friendly service, nice large drinks, and the food was good; reasonable price and very tasty. The Turkish meal I ordered wasn't sure what I was expecting (quite dry compared to how it sounded on the menu) but really nice nonetheless.

Great little place.. Great food.. Lovely staff and service.. Only thing I would suggest is for staff to inform customers if card machine broken when ordering food rather than poor notice on the entrance door.. Will be going back as lovely place😊

Went to this lovely cafe after park run this morning with Widnes running club. The breakfast I had was amazing and the staff were really friendly and accommodating. Will definitely be returning.

Been here a few times, always had a good experience. Had the full English today, I asked for 'no beans' and the waiter asked me if I would like anything else as a replacement. Might seem a small thing but not many places do that these days. Had some lovely grilled cherry tomatoes instead. Service was friendly and attentive, food came out quickly, all good quality, very well cooked, portions were just right and good value for money. All in all a definite recommendation.

Been meaning to try this place for a long time. Had a coffee and tea cake to give it a try and will definitely be going back to try the lunch menu. Nice mix of clientele and owner made us feel very welcome. The place in general has a nice feel about it.

Delicious breakfast with good selection of items. Flat white excellent very hot and strong just as I like it. Friendly staff and clean, pleasant atmosphere.

First time visit today and definitely won’t be the last! Opted for the small fry up with a latte. Man, the quality of the ingredients couldn’t be faulted. Nice thick bacon, gorg sausage, toast was perfect as well! I would have preferred tinned toms instead of beans but that’s just my personal preference. Staff were spot on, friendly and polite. Can’t wait to try something else!

Not happy. £9.95 for a full English breakfast. It was cold the brown sauce wasn’t nice. Nice place great service just cold food puts me off.

Staff and decor is lovely and place is very clean. Ordered the avocado, bacon and poached eggs on toast. Bacon and toast were lovely. Not enough avacodo and it was just in plain slices and not mashed with a little seasoning or chilli and the poached eggs were sadly overcooked and had been cooked in one of those pan poachers. Shame. Please get the eggs right. Coffee was 10 out of 10.

Best place in Crosby for lunch or breakfast. Staff are so accommodating to any and all of your needs and its a really friendly place.Great place to work from too if anyones looking for a place to do a bit of work from home from! Coffee is fantastic and the owner is very helpful to any and all awkward changes and requests for meals! Owner makes even simple meals like a chicken wrap really tasty with a real Mediterranean twist- the vegetarian full breakfast is beatiful. Always our first choice for a breakfast.

I ordered a ham sandwich and it had a pubic hair on it and when i asked for my money back the Muslim women told me to F off I was very disgusted please do not come here also the staff are milfs

I always come here for breakfast or brunch when on my visits to see family in Crosby. Very friendly and efficient service. Lovely food and good tea and coffee. Decent-sized servings too. This café also gets the seal of approval from my teenagers.

Stopped by after a short walk from Crosby Beach. Anywhere that serves the breakfast menu all day is alright by me. Fantastic bacon and avocado on granary toast (with herbs - unexpected and welcome touch!) and excellent paninis too. Definitely recommended

The Cafe has a wonderful atmosphere. Friendly staff, food was excellent and fresh. The coffee is the best in Crosby. Highly recommended. Very quick service and effecient.

I have visited this lovely cafe on many occasions, each time it has been perfect, food, service and always with a smile. I have had the full English breakfast, and lots from the lunch menu. Each time has been delicious, the coffee is the best I’ve ever had, always love to come here and recommended to all my friends and family.

I visited this cafe for a quick bite to eat for breakfast, on Sunday, and was greeted by a polite, young gentlemen who served me a exquisite all day breakfast.

This has become my favourite cafe in Crosby. So clean, friendly service from the owner. Food is tasty, great portions and such a nice atmosphere. Good vegetarian options too. Very personal service.

We've been meaning to go & see this area, stopped on college road, found this lovely cafe by chance. Glad we did....had a lovely lunch with great service ...vegetarian food was best I’ve had in a while. Nice decor too!Some customers were unlucky & couldn’t get a table, as one man , sat at a table for 4 on his own with his computer...what was that about ? !

Visited this cafe on Saturday with my friends and had such a lovely, accommodating experience. Brilliant waitress (young, blonde girl) made us feel welcomed and provided great customer service! Would really reccommend the bacon avocado on toast, cooked and served perfectly by another young brunette!Definetly returning soon...

We went here for the first time and waited 20 minutes before we was acknowledged and we decided to give 5 more minutes and they came over to ask us if we would like drinks and food. The food was lovely when it arrived , we really enjoyed the food we ordered and they did accommodate for our daughter who asked for something of the menu and they done it without a bother.We would go back again and would reccomend it to others.

Enjoyed a lovely brunch of bacon and sausage on wholemeal bread.Lovely coffee served in large cups by a very helpful young lady.Highly recommended.

After trying another place nearby and leaving we found this little gem. Lovely clean bright and friendly place, I had the best scone ever and will be back for more when I’m in the area.

Went for a delicious full English breakfast this morning at this lovely cafe. The owner and staff are all so friendly, nothing is too much trouble for them. The cafe is warm, welcoming and extremely clean, good service from start to finish. Would recommend a visit and we will definitely return.

Go here on a Sunday after training.. great little cafe... very clean and warm and welcoming ... great staff... Food very fresh and tasty.. always have the eggs avocado and granary bread.. delicious

Myself, husband daughter and my parents went here for our lunch. It was busy but a lovely bustling atmosphere and not too loud. Nice decor and tables aren't too squashed in together and loos were nice and clean.

We visited Cafe V76 this morning following a recommendation. We had a look at Tripadvisor before going and to be fair was a little resistant as currently it has only one review which wasn’t outstanding. We initially did a drive by then stopped to have a look at the menu which certainly ticked the boxes for both of us so went in, it wasn’t cold at all, it was immaculate and well designed and laid out inside. I had a veggie breakfast with perfectly poached eggs, avocado, mushrooms and peppers in granary toast topped with hollandaise and my husband as a full English. Coffee and tea was also good and staff were lovely. The quality and standard of the food was a true reflection of the recommendation I had been given. Definitely worth a visit and no doubt as more reviews are left this little gem will move up the ranking in Crosby quite fast.

First time in this local café. Nice interior but was surprised as soon as I walked in at how cold it was. On looking around I noticed there were no radiators so when waitress came to take my order I complained it was too cold in there. She went to ask owner/ management only to return with ‘its broken’. I was offered to move table nearer to kitchen where it appeared warmer but I declined. I had already ordered my lunch so decided to stay until at least having had this. Food was really lovely, 2 granary toast, 3 back bacon & a perfectly cooked egg. My friend arrived & agreed it was uncomfortably cold in there. We did stay for 2 drinks each (both nice coffees) but I won’t return until the weather warms up! I have my suspicions that the heating wasn’t broken more like the place doesn’t have any. If heating was broken the least they should do would be to put temporary heaters in there, most places would make some effort to warm the place using alternative sources.
