Cafe V76 in Sefton

Askin, the owner, is one of the nicest people I've met in Liverpool, I want nothing but the best for her and her family. Also to Charlotte, Amy and Sophie who kindly helped every customer with a smile. They'll go far. The customers themselves had an excellent behaviour. The drinks are untouchable and the food is flavoured with the heart and coziness of the café. One of the best in Crosby

What a find. Popped in whilst visiting crosby for the first time. Had planned on visiting another cafe but they were full so popped in here across the road. Hadnt read any reviews. Bella our dog was allowed in which was a great start. Cafe itself and staff create a very walm welcome. Wasnt expecting much from the menu but boy were we all massively surprised. My salad which i assumed would be basic was anything but, my husbands bagel looked so good and very generous portions. The fruit scone looked home. Made and was very much enjoyed by parents in law as was the toasted teacakes. Bella was kindly given water bowl. The staff are absolutely lovely very friendly. Cannot fault this cafe. So glad we popped in on a whim. If we were going to crosby again we wouldnt hesitate to return. Top class!

As a “MANC”, I thought the best thing in Liverpool was the road out to Mcr, but I have to admit that the BLT I had at Cafe V76 opposite Marine’s football ground was fantastic. I look forward to having to visit Marine FC again, purely to have one of their excellent BLT sandwiches! The large cup of coffee served was equally of good quality! Thank you ladies, I don’t usually write reviews, but my experience of your food and service deserved much credit and a recommendation for others! MANC Dave x

This is the first time we've been here and our initial impressions were that it was beautifully decorated, clean, spacious and welcoming. The lady that took our order was really nice and friendly. Good choice of breakfasts and bagels with assorted fillings. Wide choice of drinks (including wine and prosecco). We chose the Chicken Bagel and Club Bagel with 2 pots of tea. Omg it was absolutely delicious! We would definitely return.

Met my friends here this morning for breakfast. Delish poached egg on toast, perfectly cooked. Friends were all happy with their orders. Great atmosphere and lovely staff. Defo go back! 👍👍

Everything was as it should be. We were very satisfied. The full English breakfast was amazing. If you're on your way, be sure to stop by. The best in town.

The key strength of this café is its general attention to detail. When I arrived and sat down, the table I was sat at had a menu laid out for me, cutlery on the table as well as a little pot of sugar if you were to order tea. I know that this may seem a minor point, but clearly, this place has immaculate attention to detail and knows how to get the basics right. There is no 'counter' to order from, however the staff were on hand to take my order as soon as I wanted them to. I ordered the tuna crunch sandwich and a pot of tea, which I got for just under £10, which I thought was extremely reasonable. When I got my pot of tea, the staff had filled the teapot FULL of hot water (again, attention to detail!). The tuna crunch sandwich was lovely and fresh and the tuna especially tasted delicious. The only thing I would point out if you order this is that the sandwich is served deconstructed, if you know what I mean, so you need to eat it with a knife and fork. As all the flavours you would expect are there, this wasn't so much an issue - just something to keep in mind! The final thing to say is the customer service was absolutely excellent. The staff made their customers feel very welcome and the place was absolutely spotless. Overall, there is very little to complain about with this place. The only thing is there aren't loads of tables here so at peak times, you may be struggling for a seat (when I arrived, there weren't many tables left - a sign of a good café). I would definitely recommend a visit to Café V76 if you're in or around Crosby!

The Cafe V76 is one of the best cafes that I've visited around Liverpool. The warm, cozy and friendly ambience could only be on a par with the delicious food!! Thanks to all the staff for the nicest welcome and service💕🥺

Nice little cafe but you get very little value for the food. The waitress was great and the set up was fine so I give 3 stars but based on food alone I would give 2 stars. Extremely overpriced for very basic meal, mostly just a few bits of veg on toast.

Wow what a disappointment called in for breakfast, I was greeted with what only I can describe as a “dirty look” we were served quick but a total lack of customer service awful The waitress then went and sat with 2 very loud builders who were in for breakfast the waitress seemed enjoy the attention from them that she missed 2 sets of customers who came in and then walked out as they were not acknowledged again awful service The food was fine and no complaints about that however it’s about the service just so bad I have never felt like walking out of a place before like I did If this just a waitress she needs a hell of a lot more training if she was anything to do with ownership then I suppose she can do what she wants, I’ll vote with my feet both my sister and myself will never visit again

Hands down this is the best cafe in Crosby and surrounding areas. The freshly made bread is just unbelievably good, service is friendly and helpful each time I visit - please open a larger venue as it’s getting harder to get a table!

Nice cafe with good coffee and friendly service. Had the avocado bagel - £9.95 - which was tasty and interesting but extremely skimpy on the humus and avocado, especially for the price. Shame as spend a few pence more on the ingredients and this review would have been a 5!

Poor service, no one at the front to greet customers. Not attentive at all, I had to go to the kitchen to make them aware they have customers at the front and again to get my bill. Food is basic

Firstly very cold no heating in evidence took my coat off then had to put it back on again quick - it was the beginning of February so why no heating? Ordered a ham salad which was poor just a tiny bit of cucumber a few tomatoes, leaves and a slice of poor quality ham chopped up to look more! The cost was £10. Where was the sweetcorn, red or green pepper, a little coleslaw, a sprinkle of cheese, a crouton or two? No bread roll or just bread! It was so lacking in imagination as to be unbelievable. It was the dearest thing on the menu and I cannot for the life of me think why it cost as much as it did. Coffee was ok but over priced for the area.

Had a lovely brunch here t'other day. Very friendly service, nice large drinks, and the food was good; reasonable price and very tasty. The Turkish meal I ordered wasn't sure what I was expecting (quite dry compared to how it sounded on the menu) but really nice nonetheless.

Just been to this restaurant no paninis.. opted for what i can only describe as two slices of toast with what appeared to be a half a cheese slice on each slice melted to nothing then drowned in cherry tomatoes no side of chips or salad or coleslaw £8.95 the worst lunch i have ever had ...wont be visiting again ...gone home for cake im starving

Went to this lovely cafe after park run this morning with Widnes running club. The breakfast I had was amazing and the staff were really friendly and accommodating. Will definitely be returning.

Been here a few times, always had a good experience. Had the full English today, I asked for 'no beans' and the waiter asked me if I would like anything else as a replacement. Might seem a small thing but not many places do that these days. Had some lovely grilled cherry tomatoes instead. Service was friendly and attentive, food came out quickly, all good quality, very well cooked, portions were just right and good value for money. All in all a definite recommendation.

Been meaning to try this place for a long time. Had a coffee and tea cake to give it a try and will definitely be going back to try the lunch menu. Nice mix of clientele and owner made us feel very welcome. The place in general has a nice feel about it.

I came in for breakfast with my boyfriend and we both ordered the bacon avocado. Staff were very friendly and nothing too much trouble. The food came within ten minutes and was incredible! Will definitely be coming again.

Me and my partner came here 29th January for a little sit down.We sat near the window and enjoyed the scenery outside.We ordered a 2 vegetarian breakfasts and was amazing,staff was great and friendly! Would definitely recommend to anyone!

First time visit today and definitely won’t be the last! Opted for the small fry up with a latte. Man, the quality of the ingredients couldn’t be faulted. Nice thick bacon, gorg sausage, toast was perfect as well! I would have preferred tinned toms instead of beans but that’s just my personal preference. Staff were spot on, friendly and polite. Can’t wait to try something else!

Staff and decor is lovely and place is very clean. Ordered the avocado, bacon and poached eggs on toast. Bacon and toast were lovely. Not enough avacodo and it was just in plain slices and not mashed with a little seasoning or chilli and the poached eggs were sadly overcooked and had been cooked in one of those pan poachers. Shame. Please get the eggs right. Coffee was 10 out of 10.

Best place in Crosby for lunch or breakfast. Staff are so accommodating to any and all of your needs and its a really friendly place.Great place to work from too if anyones looking for a place to do a bit of work from home from! Coffee is fantastic and the owner is very helpful to any and all awkward changes and requests for meals! Owner makes even simple meals like a chicken wrap really tasty with a real Mediterranean twist- the vegetarian full breakfast is beatiful. Always our first choice for a breakfast.

I always come here for breakfast or brunch when on my visits to see family in Crosby. Very friendly and efficient service. Lovely food and good tea and coffee. Decent-sized servings too. This café also gets the seal of approval from my teenagers.

Stopped by after a short walk from Crosby Beach. Anywhere that serves the breakfast menu all day is alright by me. Fantastic bacon and avocado on granary toast (with herbs - unexpected and welcome touch!) and excellent paninis too. Definitely recommended

Visited this cafe on Saturday with my friends and had such a lovely, accommodating experience. Brilliant waitress (young, blonde girl) made us feel welcomed and provided great customer service! Would really reccommend the bacon avocado on toast, cooked and served perfectly by another young brunette!Definetly returning soon...

We went here for the first time and waited 20 minutes before we was acknowledged and we decided to give 5 more minutes and they came over to ask us if we would like drinks and food. The food was lovely when it arrived , we really enjoyed the food we ordered and they did accommodate for our daughter who asked for something of the menu and they done it without a bother.We would go back again and would reccomend it to others.

After trying another place nearby and leaving we found this little gem. Lovely clean bright and friendly place, I had the best scone ever and will be back for more when I’m in the area.

Went for a delicious full English breakfast this morning at this lovely cafe. The owner and staff are all so friendly, nothing is too much trouble for them. The cafe is warm, welcoming and extremely clean, good service from start to finish. Would recommend a visit and we will definitely return.
