Good Turkish food, the durums were nice, chips were nice also. Drinks were nice and cold when it arrived. Rice was a little small for £2 but it was good tasting. Apart from that the taste is nice and the food was perfect, but I wish they’d include a bit more food overall in the portions, or it might just be myself who found the portions slightly smaller than usual. But apart from that it was really good food highly recommended.

Best kebab wrap & fries I’ve ever had! Staff were friendly & attentive. Indoor and outdoor seating provided. Nice little find.

I recently visited Sultan Turkish Grill with my sister and our children. Seeking recommendations, we opted for the chargrilled lamb mince mixed with fresh peppers, parsley, and spicy chili flakes, served with rice and salad. We also chose the Tavuk Sis, marinated cubes of chicken on skewers, served with rice and salad. Additionally, we ordered a Margherita pizza and chicken burger meals for the kids. While the service was good, and our order was sent out in a timely manner, the food was quite disappointing. The kebabs were very chewy and lacked the authentic flavors we expected from the reviews. The portion sizes were small, leaving us unsatisfied. Although the customer service was nice, the overall food experience was bleak and did not meet our expectations.

Came here before a concert with my mum as it was close to the car park and we had just travelled 2 hours to Manchester, great food and the presentation was great also, the owner was very friendly and chatty. We ordered 2 kebabs, two chips and two drinks and it came to £18 which is a bargain!

It's OK. I have been to many Turkish restaurants and this one in great ducie Street Manchester I would rate at average or slightly below. Nice tidy little restaurant, the food is average priced for manchester. Food was OK, although I expected better flavours and more thought to the dishes. I ordered a diced chicken wrap. It was quite small with loads of fries splashed across. No Dip or sauce? - which restaurant does that? Any dish with fries surely must be so accompanied with a dip, So the dish was dry but palatable. Also ordered by friend was a lamb schwarma, the meat was vert dry and hard and could not be eaten the sauce in this dish was just tomato based unlike other Turkish places that used a more red Pepper based sauce to give a better flavour. Mentioned to the staff and I half expected him to offer part refund or offer alternative but nothing, paid the full for the 4 meals ordered. The other two meals were also OK. Nothing to massively shout about or brag about. There maybe better options nearby, so the restaurant really needs to consider its competitors and its offering to stay in Business. I do like local businesses and prefer them over big chains, in fact I purposefully came from the Popeyes up the road wanting to spend in a more quieter localised setting, but this Turkish place really needs to up its game. So overall three stars I have to give.

Really disappointed considering 4+ star reviews here. Food extremely average. I had lamb skewers. Tasty but very fatty. My husband had a mixed grill type, lots of his food was over cooked and burnt. The rice tasted like washing up liquid and un edible. Usually can’t go wrong with Turkish food but this place I wouldn’t recommend. No atmosphere either and the place was cold, I had to wear my coat.

AVOID this place if you want good food and a lovely evening. The food is below average with no taste whatsoever, you're guaranteed to get charged more than the prices on the menu and the atmosphere is completely non existent, this place is a ghost town and it will stay this way unless the unfriendly service is not what anyone deserves. BEWARE

This place is great!! Came here in December with my mum before a concert. The staff were great, food tasty, place is spotless, and the music they were playing was fantastic. The chef even gave me the recipe to this special sauce since I'm not from Manchester. Overall 10/10 experience, highly recommend! Baklava was delicious too!!!!

Ordered 3 Turkish pizza on the phone for pick up got there wasn’t even busy but didnt start cooking untill I got there ao had to wait that’s not really do issue the fact the out of 3 pizza two of them was undercooked and spent £25 for it

From one Turkish person to another. the food was not authentic poorly made certainly with no love. You are not using authentic ingredients. Dry over cooked meat that certainly is not fresh as you stated. Borek simple dish made terribly soggy and not enough feta. I was hoping for more with the reviews.

There food is great. As someone who works in catering and loves to cook at home. This food is amazing for a cheeky take away. That is made with real care for quality. Please keep it up

Very disappointed with the food , we had the mix grill , some lamb as just fat and bone no meat at all, chicken was not great either.Very expensive for what it was. Did wonder when we were the only people in on at 7pm . Shame as we love Turkish food and were looking forward to our meal.

Not worth any penny don’t waste your money here that is all I want to say

First of all it isn’t a restaurant it’s a sit in takeaway so was disappointed as soon as we entered, it was freezing cold the entire time and the radiators weren’t on. No-one greeted us and none of the staff (including kitchen staff) were Turkish and that is really clear when the food arrives. I had lahmacun but the dough was so thick and it was sliced up, more like pide. It was stone cold by the end as the place was so cold. My husband paid £16 for a mixed grill that was just chicken and two solitary pieces of meat (one of which was just fat). It wasn’t even cooked in a Turkish marinade it was yellow and tasted like a curry sauce, plus the rice was undercooked and didn’t have any sehriye just plain white rice. We ordered soup for our child and it wasn’t blended properly there were sharp parts of thyme in there which was also disappointing. Avoid if you’re actually looking for Turkish food as they don’t know what they’re doing and overprice their menu

Cheap, dry foods which has been overly priced. Even in London with similar price ranges you can get so much better food.

We ordered the Hummus and vegetarian vine leaves for our starter. Both dishes were delicious and the bread was sensational and fresh. Hummus the best I've ever tasted and the vine leaves were delicious. For our main we have the Adana kebab and the vegetarian platter. The selection in the platter was amazing and generous, we also ordered an aubergine that I can't remember the name of, but it too was delicious. The Adana kebab was delicately spiced came as two large "sausages" with wafer thin flat breads covered a beautiful spice paste and a lovely fresh salad, though next time I'll ask for more of the red cabbage and chilli pickles and some fluffy Turkish long grain rice, my friend ordered the chips which were good too. We finished off with two Turkish coffees flavoured with pistachio nuts, which I'd never tried before but was really sensational. The service is very good but relaxed and the atmosphere is lovely, but no matter how exceptional the food is here, it is the friendliness of the staff that keeps me going back. Subsequently, I've been working my way through the menu and haven't been disappointed. The lentil soup and lamb chops are particularly good and the kids menu looks good and definitely isn't an afterthought. It seems a little bit out of the way of the centre of town but it's only 5 minutes walk from Victoria train station and is more than worth that.

100% Recommended, staff are amazing, kind, chatty and considerate, go very regularly and food is always at its best and cooked at its best standards. My son is very picky with food and it is one of his favourite places to go for food and he loves the milkshakes also, Hygiene is 10 out of 10 very clean place.

A terrible place to have a meal, a proper shame for turkish cuisine. A waste of £50 on that disgusting platter. The whole meal was atleast 1 week old which was served to us, when i mentioned it to the waiter he gave me a cheeky smile and took the platter back in the kitchen and tried overcook it. Never ever visit this place absolutely a no go!!!

Ordered a Deliveroo take away from here for £64 and we were really disappointed at the quality of the food. Sorry to say I'll not be ordering from here again and I honestly cannot understand the 5 ⭐ eat-in reviews. Maybe the quality of takeaway/delivery good is worse than the eat-in food? I don't know.

We decided to try this restaurant today due to amazing reviews. I must say it is very welcoming and staff is nice - that's what the stars are for but food was disappointing. Mixed platter was undercooked (chicken wings), some things even raw (lamb cubes and chicken cubes), kofta was ok. I won't be returning I'm affraid.

I would say one of the best restaurants I came across in Manchester!!! **** we had the pleasure to celebrate birthday of my daughter here, from beginning till end stuff was really polite, responsive, friendly and everything what would you need from a good running restaurant!!! Not even asked them for any special birthday treatment but they all sang for birthday and give us the most welcome treatment in there. Plus food soooo delicious!!! I do really recommend and will be definitely be back. Keep it up 👍🏼

Fresh, fast, quality Turkish food for a decent price. 5 minutes from AO arena if you're looking for some nice food before an event. The place wasn't to busy to fit us in without a booking. Great quality food. We had the mixed grill for 2 and were stuffed after eating. We also had some Turkish desert which was absolutely delicious. The staff were very polite and friendly. Would go again of we're ever in the area.

Chips was cold the wrap was the smallest I ever seen and I payed £2.5 for a large drink and they gave me a can. I can not recommend this place sorry

Absolutely disgusting con artist.. don’t LISTEN to the old guy who comes to recommend .. says will throw in hummus other starters but then charge you.. asked for cans and gave bottles so that they can charge you more.. make sure you confirm every item price before ordering … don’t let them railroad you..

We visited last night, early doors. Booked the car in a car park round the corner on Julia Street, had a meal at the Sultan and spent the evening at the Arena. Perfect! Beautiful food and excellent staff. We would thoroughly recommend this authentic Turkish cafe.

2nd visit this week. What a find after a recommendation from a friend. A true Turkey experience from the fantastic food to the warmth welcome from the owners. I can’t recommend enough. Highly recommended and please sample the homemade bread….

Visited here yesterday. My husband and I needed a little reminder of Turkey, as not been there for nearly 2 years due to covid, and that's exactly what we got. Beautiful, fresh and tasty food. Service was excellent, friendly and efficient staff, and Turkish radio playing in the background was lovely too. Will definitely go back 🙂
