Lovely meeting place for catch-ups , lovely coffee as always but need to offer some healthy options with food.

Delightful place to call in for a drink. Charming outside area right by the River Coquet, just down from the old bridge. Friendly staff, glad we stopped by.

Lovely inside, plenty of seating ,loads of parking,wheel chair accessable, dog friendly. Lots going on all year round.

Nice enough place and good reviews but the food was terrible. Had a sausage and bacon roll and asked for the bacon crispy. Sausages were barely hot and a bit pink in the middle, bacon could near enough be revived, had been half cooked on one side only. Hash browns were the only good bit of the meal.

Absolutely outstanding. The service is amazing, run by the loveliest people. The food is just beautiful, and the menu has a very good selection. I will most certainly be visiting next time I’m in Durham on business. And I’ll be recommending as the place to go for the rest of my colleagues too.

We went to this bar because of the Side A band. The foods are terrible!!! The worst Pizza we have ever eaten! The serving size of their food, like the fries in a small plate with a price of ₱400++. Their food and drinks are very expensive! The prices are acceptable as long as the foods are great. Thankful to Side A for making our night memorable and enjoyable.

Awful pub. Unfriendly service, grubby and unpleasant surroundings. Cheap beer though, surprisingly.

Booked a table for mother's Day, 2nd year in a row and was so impressed last year. Excellent service and excellent food. Going to make in an annual thing.

Just stopped off for a snack and coffee. Lovely airey cafe space with an excellent choice of meals/snacks/salads. My wife and I shared a portion of fritata with was lovely and had really flavoursome coffee.
