Four Clocks Centre Cafe in County Durham

Pleasant friendly reception staff here. The centre is home to various community groups, alongside the citizens advice office. There is also a tea room here, serving hot and cold beverages alongside quality fresh home made meals, with a good selection of sandwiches, wraps cakes and pastries. They also have daily specials. Are open Monday to Friday and have pleasant and friendly staff.

Seems to be a great place for meetings etc. There's also a café. Very easy to get to.

Excellent service all round. The staff are accomodating and friendly. The cooffee shop is lovely place to sit and mingle for a while after a busy shopping expedition on the high street.

Lovely food , lovely staff , lovely setting , loved the coffee , I asked for a coffee and got a fresh brewed coffee without twenty questions . Give this cafe a go you will not be disappointed, shop local and help save your town . Use it or lose it folks .

A quick lunch here reminded me of what a lovely cafe this is. The menu has expanded considerably since my last visit, and offers something to suit every appetite (and pocket!) From light snacks to full meals and hot puddings, everything is superb value. My cheese and pickle panini was a little heavy on the pickle (see pic) but it suited me nicely, and the homemade chips were delicious. Friendly staff and customers make for a warm and welcoming atmosphere. I wish I lived closer, as this place is a delight!

Great little cafe inside I believe its called time for you cafe. I had a full English breakfast a large one. A cuppa Tea and it was lovely. Very nice and welcoming cafe with a big portion. I will be going again on a day off.

Lovly staff and very good price the food is lush

I dined here with two old vagabond companions at noon recently. It was fairly busy & to my disappointment only accepted cash but despite this we soon found a table & ordered cheeseburger, chips, salad & cappuccinos for a very reasonable £6 each. Our lunches took longer than expected to serve & only warm based on the longer than expected waiting time but there may be a shorter wait & hotter food which we may consider trying again during the cafes less busy periods.

The staff are very friendly and the food is beautiful it is all home made and fresh presention good the prices are very reasonable

There's a cafe in the four clocks and the food is lovely it's open Monday to Saturday and if you need advice you can go there to.

Fantastic little cafe which deserves to be better known, not least for its incredibly reasonable prices! Husband and I had a coffee and a sausage/bacon and egg bun each, both delicious, all for £5.00. Friendly helpful staff, spotlessly clean eating area. Will definitely return next time in Bishop.

Staff were very friendly, the cafe (Set in a converted church); was spotless. The food was "home cooked", - everything was preperaded in the kitchen by the staff. The wife and myself had the wraps with chips and salad, we can highly recondmend it, nice. Cost was surprisingly cheap for what we had. All in all a very nice cafe with good food, freindly staff and at a reasonable cost.

This cafe has good friendly service, with very generous portions, and low prices. The food is well prepared, and very tasty. With free parking for 3 hours, just a minutes walk away, bus stops nearby, access for wheelchair users, what more do you want?

Not at all as I expected no one available you give any advice or guidance as to what what I could find to do in Bishop Auckland I was informed that guidance regarding courses and training was available here apparently that is incorrect and they don't offer anything else

Have just been to the cafe for lunch and what a surprise ordered coffees which arrived straightaway we decided to have some lunch ordered toasties had we wait a short time as the cafe was busy and as food is cooked to order when they arrived what a surprise the toastie had salad cole slaw and crisps and was delicious and so cheap all the meals people were ordering looked lovely We will definitely be returning

I stopped in here between work meetings and had a cream scone and coffee and am so delighted that I did! Both my scone and coffee were prepared with great care and served with a smile, and I couldn't help but feel myself unwinding in the midst of a stressful day... I nibbled my sweet treat (overflowing with jam and cream) and sipped my rich coffee, then strolled around to study the original artwork on display. This, together with the warm orange decor creates a cosy and creative vibe. The magnificent stained glass windows are a reminder of what a special place this is. Look up and you'll see a magnificent Miners' banner hanging above you, and step out into the corridor for a display of local history through photographs, information panels and artefacts. Friendly service, great prices and a unique setting make this my 'Go To Retreat' when I need to withdraw from the world for a little while... Thankyou everyone.

It's is like a visitors center an nicefood

This cafe in the Four Clocks Centre, an ex-chapel, is very welcoming and friendly, you don't feel "odd" being on your own. The food is very good and the servings are large. Nothing fancy, just good food at a sensible price. Pictures for sale on the walls and in the corridor beside the cafe there are some archive pictures of the Railway Station as it was. Oh yes, mustn't forget the NUR banner which is displayed there.
