Creo que el café debe haber hecho algunos cambios desde las revisiones anteriores, fuimos a última hora de la tarde, sí hay que quitarse los zapatos, pero tienen zapatillas que se pueden usar. Hay un gran “árbol” con plataformas en el medio de la habitación, camas de iglú y una zona no accesible por los clientes para que los gatos tengan zonas que puedan esconder , el café estaba limpio sin olores. Había una joven de turno que era amable y obviamente se preocupaba por los gatos, se alimentaron mientras estábamos allí 8 gatos con 8 cuencos algunos con diferentes alimentos, ella los observó y se aseguró de que todos comieran, había agua y galletas secas disponibles. Uno de los gatos esfinge tenía , tenía un estómago molesto por lo que envolvió una manta alrededor de él , ella interactuó y jugó con los gatos, el menú es pequeño pero vas por los gatos no por la comida. Tuvimos un buen rato acariciando a los gatos y observándolos, y charlando con la encantadora jovencita.

Weird place, went this morning, there was a man sitting on his own no food, no drink just sitting, with his coat on his knee , 2 tables along from us. We were asked what drink we wanted and what food, gave them our drinks and asked for a few more minutes for food, nobody came back so I had to catch their eye. I asked for a breakfast and my partner asked for avocado on toast. Quite a while later they came and apologised and said no avocado. My partner asked if she could have a smaller version of the breakfast as it was to much, the waiter said it should be ok, asked someone else who seemed to direct him to someone else who said no it. Any be done. So I cancelled my food (which didn’t even seem as if it had even been started) and said we would just have the drinks. One staff member went an whispered to the man on his own about making a smaller breakfast, they had a whispered conversation, she went back to the kitchen then a different member of staff came back and said, we have spoken to the manger and you can have a smaller breakfast, but we had already decided to finish our drinks and leave so said again ‘thank you but it’s ok’, within seconds we were handed our bill and the card machine put in-front of me and I was asked if I was paying card, my only just emptied coffee cup was removed and we were left feeling like we were supposed to leave immediately. I did say ‘oh I guess that means we have to leave’ but no response. I have never been made to feel so uncomfortable. Absolutely weird atmosphere, only a table of 4 having drinks so not as if it was even busy. Really put a dampener on the rest of our day.

Muy bien diseñado y muy ocupado bar de café en el borde de Gosforth El servicio, la comida y el café son excelentes, personalmente no creo que los precios estén tan lejos de Costa/Starbucks Gran ambiente, recomiendo

Good old typical pub, very traditional on the inside and a great selection of beer 🍺

Staff were extremely helpful when I asked for a gluten free hot chocolate, and brought out allergen guide, and thoroughly cleaned the machinery and gave me brand new cutlery and glassware. Felt very accommodated for!

Place was chocka block. Got served quickly and staff were spot on. Always a good atmosphere. Price is OK for the toon.

Josh is the most amazing host! Celebrating our best friends Hen Do and made us feel so welcome and looked after us!

Popped in yesterday afternoon with my wife for quick pint on a wet and windy afternoon before heading into town for a concert. This place is an absolute gem. Good beer, friendly staff, old fashion and rustic and great views up the River Tyne. There is nothing fancy about this place it’s just the way a pub should been.

A good selection of ales and very friendly staff. Unusually quiet for a Tuesday evening (possibly, something to do with the Easter weekend).

Cracking pub. We always call in here on magic weekend and end up staying for a good few hours. Cracking pint of guinness, great staff. Brilliant doormen. Bloke with the long beard is a legend and always having a good laugh with punters

The refurb has done wonders, the terrace and beer garden is a game changer

Sat in right now on Tuesday the 13th of march 20:42pm got a steak and it more chewy than a car tyre more fat than steak and don’t get me started about the pizzas granted they used to be good the toppings used to actually on the pizza when you picked it up however now when you pick a slice of pizza up the toppings sag of the pizza like a old hags breasts there is more water than tomato sauce on the pizza as well the chips aren’t even cooked should of just served me frozen chips may as well of just went to the family food bank to get some biscuits because they would of been nicer

Absolutely horrific experience. We had to wait an hour for a cheesy chip wrap, and when asked after 45 minutes where our food was we were told it was in the oven? Confused? We weren’t offered anything as compensation, absolutely will never be coming back here

Once upon time, you were the best nowadays I think it's better you shut the place down.
