Great experience! Our server Vaso looked after us throughout our meal. The food was delicious and we were made to feel so welcome whilst Vaso was so accommodating for our 4 month old baby - making this a great family meal.

Went for birthday meal. Our waitress Vaso was very friendly and attentive. After briefly mentioning that it was a birthday meal, she decorated the dessert plate herself!

We had booked to eat at 21.00hrs as we were unsure of our arrival time, however we got there much earlier than anticipated and the staff were very accommodating. The food was very nice and no complaints, the staff were very attentive and professional. Thank you to Vaso, Matty & Michael. We will be back

Great pub. Really nice decor inside. Food was top notch, had the signature burger. Served by Josh who was a top fella, had a good laugh with him, he definitely went above and beyond, made it all the better.

I got a chicken pie which was lovely, portion size was good and reflected the price. My husband pork chop, the portion size was extremely poor, possibly 6 chips and a very small cut of bacon. This did not reflect on the price. Very disappointed as the prices were quite high.

The food was amazing nice, perfrct pub grub. Arrived, with an extra person to my book. Even though it was massively and over booked, they managed to solve the problem. The service was amazing, friendly and attentive. Nice to feel cared for even when the place is fully booked.

Our family of 4 guests chose, chicken parmigiana, ribeye steak, signature burger & wild garlic lamb skewer all very well cooked and tasted delicious. Gorgeous place. A little on the pricey side for pub food but the quality is fantastic and well worth it. I had the signature burger, it was cooked to perfection and the pulled brisket on top was delicious. The decor is wonderfully cosy and the staff are polite, attentive, friendly and helpful.

Went for lunch as not been for a while, slow cooked belly pork for me, fishcakes for the other half. Purrred the whole way through it. It was amazing. Will be back soon

This is our 4th time coming here and the service has always been amazing. Lovely atmosphere with fire lit. Cosy feels and fast service by Vado and delicious food by chefs Abigail & Danielle.

Absolutely lovely experience! We visited here tonight (27.03.24) We visited with family who came from Germany. We were served by Vaso, she was a total angel. So helpful, funny and personable. She was helpful explaining some of the menu due to the language barrier, spoke to my children, let them order their meal themselves. Really lovely women. Food was grand as well! We all had something different from the menu and everyone loved what they got. Got deserts and a few drink. No complaints at all. Chefs were Matty and Michael, they did an amazing job! Vaso was very attentive and friendly

Excellent service from Libby. She was cheerful, friendly and efficient Lamb was cooked perfectly. Turkey and Lamb dinners were delicious as was starter. Apparently Alex and Marty B were chefs today.

Ate there Friday night 22/03 with my wife and 3 adult kids. Excellent service from Vaso and the other staff. Food was superb could not recommend enough. Lovely relaxing feel to the place.

Nice atmosphere, unusually wide-ranging menu for a pub and well-prepared food. Our service (from Vaso) was friendly and helpful. Only negative is that the food is pricey for what it is.

Where served by Natalie who was amazing very friendly and welcoming and made sure our meal was perfect. Our chef Danielle makes the most amazing fishcakes and cooked a perfect poached eggs and the veg was cooked but not mush would highly recommend.

We come to the Falcons Nest often and we are really pleased with the service and the food and the ambience.

All round excellent. Brilliant table service especially from Vaso. All 3 courses for the 5 of us were perfect. I would highly recommend you eat here . It was my daughter's birthday and they even gave her a card and when they brought her dessert out the plate was decorated with a happy birthday message and her brownie had a candle in it. Thoughtful. If I could score higher I would.

**update Dec 23. It's our local so we go a fair bit. Working our way thro the menu as we go. Not been disappointed yet. Prices aren't too bad, but by no means cheap. Decent selection of drinks and the staff are always nice. If it was maybe 15 mins nearer home and 15 mins further away from the A1, it would be even better. So far we've had; Fish n Chips - 💯 Burger - 💯 Duck Pizza - 💯 Belly Pork - 💯 Sea Bass - 💯 Chicken Burger - 💯 Curry - 💯 I'm going to say........ the belly pork wins the 🏆 for best thing on the menu. It's amazing. 2nd place to the Sea Bass - It's very, very nice. Can't fault the place or the staff.

Absolutely delicious ribeye steak cooked to perfection and a Singature Burger. Highly recommend anyone to visit.

Table for nine at 1230pm on a race day. Great atmosphere. Served by Joshua. Nice chap, chatty and a good sense of humour. Food wasn't bad, everyone appeared to enjoy it. Most of the plates were cleared. Have been before and would go again.

Visited today for the first time with friends-very pleasantly surprised ! The decor is lovely light and cosy,the food was really nice hot and tasty and the service was so pleasant ! Will definitely return -even the coffee was nice !

The food was excellent although starters were not great, service was also superb.

We love coming here on special occasions and the food is always top notch. We were disappointed with the service today, as normally spot on, but felt the waitress had other things on her mind and we were forgotten a few times throughout and had to wait a while before ordering? The young lad who seemed to be the barman, was the only one that apologised. Otherwise, a great meal as always but will probably book in the restaurant again, as had never had a problem with service in there.

We usually have Sunday Lunch which is normally excellent however our last Sunday lunch was let down by the fact that the meal was not hot. Food taste was still great. Our visit on Monday was 2 x fish and chips and 1 x chicken it was only so/so so probably only visit on a Sunday from now on. Staff were all friendly.

We visited The Falcons Nest last night for a meal with our friend. Our server was Abigail and she was amazing. Her communication skills were very good. She was friendly and welcoming and extremely professional. She was attentive without being intrusive. Our food came quickly and was perfectly cooked and delicious. Thanks to Abigail and chefs Matty B and Michael we had a lovely evening and as regular customers we will be back again soon.

A perfect location to meet our family for lunch. An immaculate pub and welcoming atmosphere together with professional and efficient staff makes this our go to when we want to treat ourselves and the family. We have to mention Romalli by name for her excellent service, she’s a proper diamond. The food quality is excellent and the menu caters for everyone.

Had great hospitality and catered to our needs thank you Vas. Had 3 people with learning difficulties and different types of food required for all of us. Server was amazing at understanding.

Just had a Valentines meal here. The food was excellent, I had the belly pork with the apple sorbet...wow, what a combination. The Pork was cooked to perfection but add on the tart apple sorbet and the flavour just pops. Perfect chef, thank you. Service was also great, so friendly and quick. Still thinking about the porkl and sorbet the next morning. Give it a try, you'll be surprised!

Lovely pub not too far from the racecourse. Service was great, the food was lovely although the 'king' prawns that came with the salmon were tiny. I guess they ran out of the big ones

Ate in here four nights in a row, was staying in the Grand Hotel next door (don't eat in there!).. Comprehensive pub menu, everything I tried was excellent, staff were friendly and professional; a great pub!

Vaso, Natalie, and Ram provided impeccable service throughout the evening, ensuring every detail was taken care of, on top of that, the exquisite cuisine expertly crafted by Chef Matty.
