Icestone Gelato in Newcastle upon Tyne

Cheese sauce was just melted cheese, delivery wasn’t to my door had to go chasing the man up the street to get the food

Overall , great food. It got knocked back again and again , originally it was set for 7:30 pm. And it ended up delivered by 7:50-7:55. Don’t get me wrong , it’s a Sunday and I understand it would be busy. But , it’s abit of a faf on. Anyways , lovely food , just the lateness.

The pancakes were clearly shop brought the delivery time said 20 minutes this went up 3 times to 25minutes. Order was stone cold by the time it got to me advertised as kinder bueno pancakes but in reality it was store brought pancakes with chocolate sauce and 4 pieces if kinder bueno not worth the money and certainly not worth the delivery charge

Cookie dough was cold and ice cream had melted not happy with order

Would love option to tip driver via app after delivery, lovely sweet woman came to door with my delivery x

Ordered cinema cheese sauce on nachos and they came with normal melted cheese on! Cheesecakes weren’t great especially the lotus. Will not be ordering from here again!

Food was decent only complaint was how small the cookie dough was for the price paid and the packaging was a bit squished. Main issue was the driver who was sat around at a different location and then complained to us at the door

Been here before and was okay last time. Arrived 2.5hrs after ordered, cheesecake was liquid and the nachos were stale, with barely any salsa. Was not worth the wait, wish I had cancelled the order when they kept putting the deliver time back

Delivery driver decided to sit outside my property for 15 minutes before I had to go out and see where he was. Food was cold due to this

I had a great experience when I visited Icestone Gelato in Newcastle! Manager and staff were very friendly. The cookie dough was very tasty, they had a lot of options to choose from

Very friendly and courteous staff, they cleaned our chosen table immediately. Lots of choice of desserts, hard to choose! Very generous portions and more than fair prices for the quantity. Clean, non-noisy and served with all amenities. Super recommended!

One of my favourite for a local dessert kids love it too but not happy with recent service they say open till 11 but not allowed to sit in when I arrived at 10!!! Had to change plans! Not happy they could have been more lenient!!!

They took more then 1 hour for ice cream and a smoothie witch they forgot.

The crumble was perfect and plentiful but I have to deduct a star because the custard was cold, it all tasted lovely

Ice cream Sundays were very good.... It took 30mins for them to make ours however... The biggest issue was that the toilet had no running water for washing your hands?!? Yuck.

Was three years since we were last in.and u left a good impression the first time the staff and service was excellent.and the young girl who served us surprised us with a box of donuts. We came down from east Scotland to have our deserts.thank u all once again

No spoons or straws with order. Falooda was approximately half spilled out from glasses in paper bag.

I need a refund. The milkshake was delivered but had been completed been spilt on the inside of the bag meaning i was left with no milkshake. The delivery driver blamed the restaurant and the restaurant wouldn't take any responsibility.

fast delivery and order came correct. Nothing was ruined in delivery very good.

quality of the items from icestone itself were very disappointing I ordered 2 waffles and they came with hardly any toppings and looked nothing like the photos and they weren't cheap either

I've been to this place twice, and both times they told me they were about to close when I arrived at 10:00 p.m., even though they say they close at 11:00 p.m. The service could be friendlier.Staff is very rude.

Delivery was estimated 20-30 minutes, turned up after over an hour. Hot food was cold, cold food was melted. Restaurant was unapologetic and said it wasn’t their driver, but why make the food if they driver isn’t there to take it?! Last time we will use this place

Wasted 35. Waffle had no chocolate on just strawberries tasted like straight up chewy dough not enjoyable at all. The cheese was disappointing and the ice cream looks like mash potatoes. Waste of money can go somewhere for cheaper and nicer

It took them an hour to make 2 milkshakes my delivery driver literally got 4 delivery's done by the time my order was ready and the milkshakes just tasted like pure milk with ice on top you could barely taste the chocolate absolute waste of money I won't be ordering from here again

Food took ages. Had to ask multiple times for a couple of things to arrive. When it did one item was wrong. There was no water in the bathroom so no one could wash their hands before eating.

Milkshake was lovely especially making your own. We made our own sundae which was lovely but I expected more toppings than I what I got but it was still really tasty. The Nutella and strawberry waffle delicious. Quick service.

I ordered The Royal Waffles and Falooda.. waffles were really good. Soft and crunchy.. fresh and delicious but… Falooda should be banned from their menu! The Tukh malunga and sewaiyyan were not soaked thats why they were tough and raw! And the rose water inside didn’t compare to the Falooda back home at all!

We ordered 10 different desserts, overall taste and presentation was OK. The portion size for waffle dessert was smaller than other dessert places... considering the price. Free parking is available on the road. Ambience was fine.

Lovely late night ice cream for a sore throat. Packaged very securely which is usually hit and miss for delivered frozen treats, but not here! Driver was very friendly and helpful, thank you so much!

The worst shop I have seen and dealt with in all of Britain, Bad service, Unjustified delay I asked for my money back which I paid in exchange for what I asked for so the aleged manager rejected what a misrable shop my mony will be colected in some day.

Shocking communication, driver took over an hour to deliver food from a restaurant that is ten minutes away . He continuously stopped for ten minutes at a time and food ended up being freezing.

The delivery didn't arrive and was sent to a neighbor. The driver rang and said he was outside but no one turned up. I rang the shop and the young man was helpful on the phone said to talk to just eat and recommended I use UberEats in the future.

DO NOT GET THE FROZEN YOGURT. PAID £10 for disgusting syrup to be put on top of cardboard like substance. Portion is also terrible for what I paid and they claimed it was free from artificial flavouring and colour but clearly from the look and taste it is not. HIGHLY do not recommend!!

Friendly and nice atmosphere. Nice deserts. However, the waffle was too havy.

Not good. Ordered a waffle / ice cream for K and a hot dog for me. Dog showed up first, it was one of those crap microwave ones you can get in Poundland. Bun had clearly been in the microwave, the cheese sauce was a pre-made foil pot job, as were the crispy onions. I know this because they arrived still in their sealed pots. For a fiver, that's lousy. Twenty minutes then go by before K's plate comes, and to be fair she really enjoyed it. But - serving up microwave rubbish and bringing the two plates 20 minutes apart means I won't be returning.

I didn’t even receive my order. I was told from the restaurant that they can’t do anything about it as it was not their driver.

I'd recommend this place if you're craving some heavy sugar! A quiet and cozy dessert place.

We love this place. The customer service is very friendly and they are always consistent with their food. The introduction of hot food has been great, my kids love the hotdogs and I like the chicken burger. The sticky toffee pudding is amazing.

Very rude behaviour. Closing time 11 and we reached at 10 but staff and manager both told as we are close. We requested them for takeout but they are not ready. Never ever ever ever recommend for visit.

Tried to cancel once it got to 1hr 30 late but was no option and when i rang the restaurant they said they couldnt do it there. Wasted as kids were in bed by the time it arrived at nearly 10 pm. Ordered at 8pm.

Missing half my order and when I rang to tell them they asked me to come and collect the the missing items from store because they couldn’t deliver them! Shocking service!

Ordered a snickers milkshake and it had multiple peices of plastic in it.It was only till half way through I realised it was the wrapper of the snickers bar and it wasn't peanuts.

Everytime I visit from Birmingham to see my kids even though they are grown, I always bring kids here ... I love this place.... Even I visit the gelato place back home in Birmingham to that's how much I love this place..

Do not order waffles or pancakes from this place, unless you like cold pancakes or waffles. I complained about the food and the little waitress was extremely rude. The staff try to have a go at me when I said it was cold? All I wanted was a hot dessert, not a refund. If I wanted a cold waffle or pancake, I would’ve had one at home. One waffle is approx £9 and is tiny. Will definitely not be returning

I had the banana and Carmel pancakes I added extra strawberries and nuts but it's nice even with out it the pancakes where cooked well light and soft had the milk cake was really nice service is good deco is good nice place staff are helpfull

I have visited this Icestone Gelato a few times. I love how extensive the menu is, there are so many things to choose from. The atmosphere is always nice and the seats are comfortable. Parking isn’t ideal but it’s close to a bus stop so easy to get to from town. The desserts are always delicious and I cannot fault them. The milkshakes are my favourite part, they are the perfect consistency. I would definitely recommend this Icestone Gelato.

Waited an hour and a half for my order to then be cancelled !?? No reason for this , as I spoke to them on the phone about my order Aswell . Terrible

Really good for 10 out of 10 for every thing. Not sure about service, nice friendly staff but very slow at getting food out. Took that long we had to get a takeout box. Only 2 other people in so don’t know what went wrong. Will 100% go back
