Quattro in Newcastle upon Tyne

Absolutely horrific experience. We had to wait an hour for a cheesy chip wrap, and when asked after 45 minutes where our food was we were told it was in the oven? Confused? We weren’t offered anything as compensation, absolutely will never be coming back here

Great food, great selection of drinks and brilliant atmosphere. Definitely the best place to watch the football too on Osbourne Road

Rude, obnoxious and high handed bouncers on the door. Would not accept a Citizenship Card as a valid form of ID, despite it containing a PASS hologram and being endorsed as a valid form of ID by the government, police and trading standards. Only having to temporarily use while waiting for my replacement driving licence. Unacceptable experience that management needs to address.

Dogs allowed in and found the staff friendly and helpful. Place is central to jesmond and nicely furnished. Would definitely go again 😁👍🏻

We were told to leave due to us being apparently too drunk but actually it was because the member of staff wanted to close early and proceeded to kick out every customer an hour before the actually closing time. Do not ever go to this bar!!!!!!!

Great little bar to have a drink wit friends

A nice bar to visit on Osbourne Road.

So unfortunately I went to quatro tonight, not a usual destination for myself, and the bouncer was incredibly rude. Despite having about 2 drinks, he told me to leave for no reason. Clearly an unfortunate state of small man syndrome. He could not explain to my sober friend why we were being kicked out. Never again to a bar that’s already struggling, I feel bad for the managers.

Visit Quattro regularly with my friends , great prices and venue for students,and will always carry on going, but have had bad experiences with male manager before and had a worse one most recently. He is flippant and rude, we have all wanted to leave because of the way he has spoken to his staff and us as customers. Always try to avoid going to him at the bar as the pints are never filled to the top and never know how he is going to act.

Stayed in the Kenilworth hotel which is in the same building. Only had a few drinks in this bar. Judging by the number of students in this bar it gets very popular. Great staff very welcoming

Does the best food, is open the latest and has the best deals on drinks. Always a queue out the door on a £2 Tuesday!

Service through COVID was awful. We got checked on every now and then and once we were checked for drinks got told off by a frankly offensive bouncer. I don’t expect to be shouted at when paying for a service of drinks and she was just rude throughout

I was sat happily enjoying a few beers at Quattro, lovely service. Then I dared to enjoy England scoring a try against Italy in the 6 nations. This resulted in me being told it was my last warning for being too loud. In all fairness to myself it was a reasonably quiet cheer of “yes!” In the result of a try.

Ordered through Uber eats, the burger bun was soggy and cold, the entire food was cold and soggy, the cheddar cheese bites burnt and some of them just empty crust. Total disappointing, never ordering from them again.

If I could give this no star review i would what a terrible terrible experience I had in there to be perfectly honest ! Considering I was man handled by the thug bouncer and beaten to a pulp on the street by an absolute bully It was by far the worse experience I had in Newcastle and maybe my whole entire life to say the least while visiting newcastle upon Tyne and living in the jesmond area while visiting an aunt , all because I asked for a refill after my drink was spilled by an extra bar mat by pure accident That was unnecessarily placed where I was standing at the bar. It's diabolical the treatment I experienced and will be reporting the assaulter to the police authoritys in charge of the local area in which a court case will soon follow stay well clear it's run by unsavoury folk and comes well below the par while out in a so called nice part of town and a well to do area like Osborn street
