Although it was really busy, the service was excellent and the bar staff had a great sense of humour.

Queued 20 minutes only to be told no decaffeinated coffee. Why not write it on a board by queuing point. Do they expect people who get palpitations or have high blood pressure to drink caffeine at a whim?! Ask for extra hot, but it wasn't even hot - just tepid. Two girls in charge a bit ditsy imo.

Had a seat outside for rugby. My friend who booked the table was expecting it to be inside but seemingly wasn't told we would be outside. TV provision was a few suspended every few metres. This worked out ok but could have been better. Service was great and quick. Unsure what the beer selection was like, but the Guinness was a good pint.

Astoundingly bad hospitality. Want to order? Scan a QR code and then *download* an over complicated app full of unnecessary buttons and options. Want to use WiFi to download the app? Gotta give your email, name, postal code, and birthday. Staff acts like you are a burden when you order in person. Croquettes fall apart when you pick them up, food is expensive and takes a long time to arrive, as do the drinks. Finding an employee to help is near impossible. Finding one that seems happy to have you as a customer is fully impossible.

Fairly priced. Good food. Lovely garden. Friendly staff.

Second Monday eating here .Chips cold on both occasions and not cooked properly. Strangely food was perfect on other days of the week.

Love this place food is excellent good quality staff are friendly and helpful will definitely be visiting again soon. Reasonably priced also

I recently hired the upstairs venue area of Tree house Croydon for my 40th Birthday and I must say from start to end the service was 100% The communication with the Events Manager Aaron was clear and detailed throughout he gave us a tour of the venue which was very spacious , plenty of seating areas and a perfect room division with A fully stocked bar. Also Aarron asked if anything needs to be changed or removed.to make the space adequate for the number of guests I had attending which was a nice touch. Not just myself but family and friends were all impressed and commenting on how nice the venue was. I would most definitely say anybody who is looking for the great space and Staff that comes with it Then look no further .

We went for a friend's birthday. We all ordered ribeye steak. It wasn't ribeye .more like cheap Greasey minute steak. Its normally so nice .won't be going there again

I visited this cafe for the second time and was highly disappointed after paying a good amount of money for English breakfast and Tea. Everything was reheated and nothing was fresh. Avoid busy times as the food wil arrive after half an hr wait and cold. Unless it’s a sunny day and you are enjoying the view/atmosphere.

What a delightful time we spent at Cheam Grumpy Mole on Sunday. We were a group of 14 celebrating our daughter’s birthday with a tasty lunch. The food was delicious and the staff helpful and efficient with a special mention for Nors, who was a little ray of sunshine. Thank you
