Really nice pub, hadn't been for years. Good band on when we went.

My first visit. Fantastic bar staff and security. Highly recommended!

After ordering our food, 20 mins later was told there were 3 things they ran out of. Then waited another 40 mins for dinner to arrive, after going up twice to ask where our food was. Kids were starving! When the food arrived kids meals were cold. My partners Brie wrap and chips was awful. That’s one of the meals that to be changed. Only 2 bits of Brie in the wrap and about 10 chips on the plate. No sauces only ketchup as the had run out. Being Bank holiday weekend they should have been well stocked up of everything! Asked to see the manager to complain and was she would come over. 20 mins past and no manager came over. We managed to track her down to complain. Wasn’t very helpful at all. Managed to get a refund on some of the bill. At the time of ordering, the pub was quiet and wasn’t told there would be a wait for food. Otherwise would have gone elsewhere. Disappointed as we only live around the corner. Won’t be visiting again.

Lovely staff, great service and good food!

Una comida verdaderamente satisfactoria con un antojo de perro caliente de pollo, papas fritas y una dieta Salam cola para calmar el antojo. Estaba super hambriento después del trabajo y mi marido me invitó a una comida. Un buen regalo después de un largo turno de días y bueno para los apetitos pequeños como yo.

The worst service I have ever received, I got a terrible coffee from a friend who works alone and is not a barista. I am making this comment in front of the door… Wherever I am in the world, I prefer Costa coffee, but this takes all the pleasure out of me and I become Aticak instead of drinking this coffee.

Delicioso almuerzo de domingo y buenas cervezas. El servicio necesita mejorar ya que el personal necesita estar más atento a los clientes en lugar de hablar entre ellos. Afina el servicio para garantizar una calificación de 5 estrellas.

Good food carling is flat, plastic glasses which was annoying

Hicimos el Jack The Ripper Tour y como terminó en el pub decidimos ir a comer algo. Reservar sería esencial, ya que no es el más grande de los lugares, pero tiene un montón de asientos. Era un día soleado glorioso, así que mucha gente estaba afuera disfrutando del sol. La comida era increíble por el precio, no podía fallar. El personal es muy amable y servicial y sabía qué bebidas tenían en las estanterías. En general es el lugar perfecto para comer y beber.

Delia our server was warm friendly, knowledgeable about the food and served us fantastically. We had fantastic upstairs window table allow us to watch the world go by. The chefs tasting menu was amazing. We’ll be back soon!!

Amazing afternoon spent here with the family. Fantastic service staff could not do enough . Will definitely be returning to this great pub!

Great pub , great food, nice for kids great choice for families

If I could have given 3.5 stars I would. This place is totally fine. Service is good and food is decent. Nothing to go out of your way to have. If you are in the area it’s not a bad option. I was here during their VE celebrations.

Famous old pub and even more important, I had my first Pint of Harvey's. And very good too. A pleasant spot by the river with friendly staff and locals.
