Fantastic space, especially for the live music scene in Acton! Heidi who runs it is super accommodating and ensures everyone is looked after.

Heidi was great, made us good drinks and was super friendly. The staff was great too, everyone was nice. The live singer was talented and I enjoyed it. The restaurant itself is clean and aesthetically pleasing. However, the purpose of reviews is to provide constructive criticism so here's what I feel would have made our experience better.. A) The food took WAY too long to come out (over an hour) and all the plates for a party of 9 came out over 20 mins - 1 hour apart, which meant I had to eat alone and we didn't all get to eat together as a group. B) They didn't collect the dirty plates/dishes until the end , so it was unfortunate we had to sit there and look at dirty plates while we enjoyed each other's company. C) The live music was intermittent, not really a real session ..mostly we just watched music videos on TV. D) If I were to ever come back there would have to be a guarantee that the service will be faster. The restaurant has A LOT of potential but everything just took way too long.

I came on one of Vernan Successe's iconic nights (held every wednesday) people were welcoming as always, music was pumping and vibes were immaculate. Now I've had prawns before and I've had sauce with them but I have to say the Mediterranean prawns, although they have a deceiving shell, are literally the best prawns and sauce I've ever had. Hand crafted by the Owner (Heidi) with flavours inspired from 3 different countries just seriously takes the top spot for prawns I've ever had. Lovely evening will be back next week. We were there on a Thursday evening when they have open mic night. The food was excellent and the music was brilliant with quite a few people singing quite different genres. The staff were wonderful. I had booked my reservation for a society meeting and the staff were extremely accommodating and even held our booking when we ran late. Overall had a wonderful time there.

First and foremost reason is that, there atmosphere is very good. Apart from that very good food and we did enjoyed the dance. I really enjoyed there.

The King's Head in Acton is an absolute gem! Whether you're a local or just visiting, this pub has something for everyone. The karaoke nights are an absolute blast – great fun with a welcoming crowd and a fantastic atmosphere. They also host a variety of other events that are always well-organized and lively. The staff are so lovely – warm, friendly, and always making sure you’re looked after. It’s clear they really care about creating a great experience for their customers. Definitely a place to return to again and again! Highly recommend!

Nice and friendly place for karaoke!!!

Best pub tested in London. It was close to our hotel, and we had a great time there. The place is very nice, cozy, good music and the waiters are very nice. And above all the dishes are excellent: best fish and chips ever eaten, and my daughter loved their cheeseburger. Finally beer, gin, cocktails are delicious. I recommend and I will definitely go back ❤️

Its been 27 years and our first meeting with and old school freind, i live in Acton and didnt realise this pub was taken under new management. However what an amazing evening Haidy thw owner made our open mix night amazing anyonw who wants to come here to meet new people and have fun i completely recommend. Nuff love for all thw staff and punters

My friend and I are visiting London and stumbled upon the ABSOLUTE BEST PUB IN THE WHOLE CITY!! We came for trivia night and had the most wonderful time! Food, service, and drinks are fab, and Heidi and Tom SLAY!!!! A must visit 🤗

I love Heidi and everyone here. We were immediately welcomed in and invited to join the trivia game— they even restarted the first question so we could play! The food is fantastic and we loved the fish and chips. Such a fun vibe with even better people. We will absolutely be back!!

Convenient location. Airy, well-decorated interior seamlessly integrates period features with contemporary touches. Heidi and the team go out of their way to make patrons feel welcome. Diverse and very nice crowd. I was there on a karaoke night and found Tom the karaoke master both very nice and very professional. The song queue was fairly long but all the singers were a pleasure to listen to. My alcohol-free Guinness was on the pricier side but the overall experience more than justified it. Would love to come again and will recommend to friends.

Friendly and welcoming pub. I go for the great free karaoke on Friday nights and the new quiz night on Thursday nights (no cheating, varied question formats on your phone.) Open mike too on Wednesdays and live music on Saturdays. Definitely recommend.

Open mike night on Wednesdays, great fun quiz on Thursdays (played on phone - no cheating!), great, free, popular karaoke on Friday nights. This is my regular haunt now. Definitely recommend!

I recently visited Kings head with friends for dinner and some drinks. Unfortunately, our experience was far from welcoming. Shortly after we finished eating dinner a waitress approached and bluntly informed us that we had to vacate the table because it was “booked.” His tone was curt and dismissive, making us feel rushed and unwelcome despite being paying customers. While we understand that tables may be reserved, the way it was handled was unprofessional and rude. There was no polite request or apology, just an abrupt instruction to leave, which left a negative impression on what should have been a relaxed evening. A little courtesy and clearer communication about seating arrangements would go a long way in improving the customer experience. We were genuinely disappointed by the lack of hospitality and won’t be rushing back. There are plenty of places with better service where customers feel valued.

Great fun evening, excellent venue to share an evening with good friends

I’m a regular customer and recently invited 35+ friends to a farewell party here, simply because I really like the venue (all the staff and the atmosphere) and believed they would also enjoy like I do. All the friends anonymously said to me they enjoyed pretty much not just the party but the venue (and the very friendly staff). I believe they’ll visit the pub again even after I leave for my home country.

One of the most absolutely delicious pub meals I’ve had lately. The atmosphere is fantastic, the service is top notch and the vibe is just right. Looking forward to going back lots more ❤️

We rented the pub for my dad’s 50th birthday. Haidy and her team run a tight ship in terms of service, are incredibly accommodating, and let you crack on with what you need to do to have a good night. Would recommend 100%

This place is great. Super good pricing and the food tastes really good. I've asked for a ramen and it was amazing. But if this wasn't enough, the BREAD was mind-blowing. Haidy is super kind and was a plesure to meet her.

I recently visited a pub that has invested a lot in decorating their bar and facilities. The Saturday evening singing was of great quality and created a lovely atmosphere. The owners were delightful. Overall, it's a must-visit pub with a charming ambience and fantastic entertainment.

On my way to a concert at Gunnersbury Park I popped into this most refreshing and friendliest of bars with an amazing selection of all types of drinks to suit every taste. Upon my entry I was greeted by Paul, possibly the most nicest barman ever whom went out of his way to strike conversation and was simply great craic... This bar is a breath of fresh air especially in this area. The Sunday roast was also damn good.... Guy and Girls I highly recommend you pop in for a wee tipple and you'll fall in love with it's vibe ....

Under new management, the place is transformed into a proper Gastro pub with high quality delicious food, amazing atmosphere, and a great service. The new owner makes you feel like you’re in your best friend’s living room having dinner together. Every Saturday they have live music and everyone is up having a party :) I went there several times and each time I have something different from the menu including a Sunday roast, and every time the food was fresh, extremely delicious and a good portion. Definitely recommend it.

Lovely night at the kings head .Nice atmosphere to watch a football game and have a few drinks and snacks. New management is very attentive ,the menu is very inviting . Company of 4 ,we had a few drinks and starters .There is something on the menu for everyone .

It was pretty late when we came in to eat and it was maybe 1 or 2 other people in the restaurant (we did come in late),but the atmosphere was amazing, wish we came in the afternoon. Food tasted fresh as told and really good(I had the chicken filet). Left no crumbs behind!! Our first time in London and would come here again! Definitely stop by and eat.

Uniquely designed place interior-wise , has its own atmosphere for sure…Super friendly service and beautifully cooked tasty food. Parties going on over the weekend too, which adds to the vibe of this place!

We stopped in by chance for dinner. The fish and chips and the fried chicken sandwich drizzled with Garlic Parmesan sauce were absolutely delicious. Prices were very reasonable. The food was fresh and cooked to perfection! The Kings Head is under new management and off to a superb start.

Great new management, vibrant and modern pub with a twist on classics! You can't taste the food looking at the menu, you have to try it, I'd highly recommend the king prawns, very tasty!

I've been coming to this gem of a place for years and today I went back after a couple of months to find new staff working there. And believe me they are just fantastic! Heidi is genuinely making a big effort to keep the place warm, friendly and somewhere to enjoy. Plus, they have started to serve food again. You're not even getting average tasting food, it's really tasty. I would 100% recommend a trip to The King's Head. This old gem of a place getting even better.
