The Kings Head Pub in Ealing

This place is part of the hallway next door and is amazing! The bartenders/ manager is super friendly and sweet This place looks amazing and deserves all credit.

We were 3 travellers. We booked a room at the King's head Hotel. For one night I paid £80. It was an instant booking. They charged £20 for security deposit that is refundable. They don't serve breakfast, their lifts don't work so it's a manual work up the stairs. Room: we loved the room 5/5. It was spacious and very comfortable including the bathroom. There is a good supply of hot water. It was super warm inside. The ladies at the reception was super nice. The gentleman was nice too when we checked in initially. He helped us up the steps with the luggage. The building was pretty too, the neighborhood is self sufficient. The hotel has Morrison supermarket behind. So you can get your food items around. The hotel has a pub attached where you can sit and just chill by yourself. It's basically a partly self service hotel but comfortable for short and reasonable stays. The roads can get noisy since its the main road but you can get a good sleep in your room. I would definitely come here again.

It's a fine hotel room, the street is a little noisy. No parking, take a chance in nearby neighborhoods. But the pub is dead. No customers, nothing going on, only commercial, boring beers.

Grumpy old woman refusing to let by passers use the toilet, and then as I walked out I saw a mice under the table where people eat food. Disgusting.

Nice but they need more staff behind the bar when they are having DJ's playing music there on a friday night.

Amazing service and amazing rooms Mido was brilliant and made sure my stay was as perfect as could be, would highly recommend!!

Positive : Room was very clean and modern.Negatives : Our room was very noisy as it was on the front Of the building. Each side of the bed is the modern system for Lighting etc , this is very bright and kept me Awake. On the website it states there is a Restaurant Breakfast , Evening meals ?? Not open any More. Website states tea /coffee in room ?? No there Is not. Website states free bottled water ?? No there is not. Only one hand towel . Not a lot around this hotel . But we did visit ‘Magnus ‘which is a Fabulous Burger place and trust me there are that many Extras it was the BEST burger I have had. Also not a very nice area . Especially for lone Ladies. The Kings Hotel really need to update their Web site .

Lovely clean, stylish and modern place. Excellent value for money. The staff are charming and make a great difference. Highly recommended. I look forward to staying again.

Came here for an event on a Friday that was being held. Nice place Only criticism is that can do with more bar staff also there was some issue with the tills where the bar had to be closed for more than 15 mins.

Cheap pub , you can t expect the best for sure, but having dog food it s a robbery even for free.

I came here to have a beer with my mates and I really enjoy the atmosfere. The pub was really busy at that time however pub was still clean and staff was really attentive. Definitely raccomend

GREAT lunch with the family, the pizza was outstanding, great service, stayed overnight in the hotel, brilliant location for Wembley stadium, tube station 5 minutes walk from hotel, as for the Room 203, was brilliant, spacious, modern & spotless, best hotel room we stayed in london. Manager & Staff were 1st class, will be back next time we're back in London.

Me and my friends recently visited London to watch a football match(Manchester city vs Tottenham hotspur).We had previously stayed at the hotel so we decided to take a lunch at the Kings Head pub . We realized that some changes have been made to the menu which were impressively good . First of all the stuff was more than helpful and ready to cope in the needs of a customer. I ordered a lamp rump and it was really astonishing! Highly recommended!!

We decided to go here for Christmas lunch as we had the year before & it was lovely but this year it was horrible. I think they have changed management, staff & chef. Everyone was complaining about the service. We were given one Christmas cracker between 3 of us & I could see other tables were given one between 6. We waited so long for food & it was cold when it came & not nice at all. We asked for it to be heated up & the table next to us did as well. When the food was returned mine was covered in pepper & the lady on the next table said I had her dinner....disgusting! Our Christmas Day was spoiled as it took about 2 hours to get any help about this. I was given about half my money back but think I should have been compensated more for this. I will never go there again...& we ate often here.

Came here tonight, decor looks amazing and the barman was really friendly, only positive things. Food was vile, too much salt and pepper made it nearly not edible. I normally would finish meals i left over 3/4 of it left. Not nice at all. My partner left her food and we've come back to eat packet noddles that taste so much better!Won't be back again.

Had a meal here and found half the menu wasn’t available (no pizza ) and the food we did eat was poor. The pasta choices - were just that, virtually all pasta with very little of the other menu claimed ingredients on the plate. The lamb and chicken skewer arrived warm rather than hot. Just disappointing really. The bar itself looks and feels like an unsavoury unfriendly place. Will not be coming back.

I have very mixed views about this place. I stayed for one night and the hotel is wonderful. Newly refurbished, big TV in the room and bathroom! Good quality and everything worked well. The bar was lovely too, modern and cosy. It’s about a 12 min walk to Action Town station.My issue was the bar and front of house staff, all male and they all made me feel quite uncomfortable. When I arrived I was told I hadn’t paid for breakfast to be included when I had. It wasn’t until they treble checked and I showed my receipt that they agreed. Then the bar man was very curt and cold and gave us odd looks when we went for a quick drink. I’m not sure what his problem was. Then at breakfast the next morning we were again greeted with grumpy unhelpful service. Speaking was at a minimum. We were told our pre booked breakfast excluded all coffees accept Americano. That’s all that was said. I chose omelette but asked if it included toast, fair enough question? No it doesn’t. I also asked if extras for the omelette was included as it said £2 per extra topping. It transpires that yes it was included. All of my answers were given in a very impatient and curt manner. This should be made clear to you and these questions shouldn’t be an issue. And no we were not asked if we enjoyed the breakfast the plates were taken away without a word.When I checked out I was told I had £13 to pay. What for I asked. Drinks at the bar and breakfast the previous morning I was told.Firstly I wasn’t there the previous morning, and secondly we paid by card for our drinks. Again I had to wait for this to be checked, and I clearly wasn’t believed. Eventually they said just go, we will take care of it. I said I promise I’m not lying surely we can prove we made the payment? It all got uncomfortable with the manager being very passive aggressive in a patronising way telling me nobody thought I was a liar and they would try to fix it. I left and felt really uneasy as if they would charge my card anyway and I felt they clearly didn’t believe me. So I went back in as I didn’t want the benefit of the doubt, these things aren’t hard to prove. All three men who worked there were stood holding my paperwork clearly discussing me. I said I’m not comfortable with this can we sort it out? Surely we can prove you took a card payment? And if you put it on my room surly they would need a signature. Again I was waved off and told not to worry they would take care of it.At no point did they confirm that I’d payed or make me feel as if I was actually believed. It’s only £13 at the end of the day but it was the principle and in general I didn’t feel welcome. It’s a shame the staff and manager are like this as otherwise it’s a lovely place and the food really was very good. They also extended our check out to 12pm from 11am which was also welcomed despite not being requested.

I was walking in Acton high street I seen a refurbished pub I went in for a beer the barman was very sad and upset i felt none wanted as a customer I took my beer and sat on the table he did not come and give me the menu or asking me if I need anything else I finished my beer and got lost

While shopping one day I thought I'd have a breakfast and give this place a try. I was told that they stopped serving breakfast at 11.30. It must have been ONE minute past and no-one stopped me walking out of the empty pub.

This pub actually is quirky and is a nice round place to go for a quite drink during the weekdays!!!

I stayed here for 1 night on a business trip. The hotel decor is nice and calm and painted with soft greys, however I was surprised to find on entering my allocated room that it didn’t have any windows!?

A nice bright and airy pub in the heart of Acton . The menu looked very appetising but sadly I didn’t eat on this occasion. Disappointed that there was no real ale on offer .

This was a really good place to eat until it has suffered from a new manager who has put the prices up by 25% and reduced the servings by 30%. As a family we were happy locals, not any more,this manager thinks he has a blank canvas for his own ego he has amazing staff & I hope he treats them better than his (ex locals)
