Costa Coffee in Haringey

It's feeling of independent business , where staff recognise their regular customer, they realise that they are a business in a local area not in tourist area. Most of staff cares what guest is ordering and paying for and they are doing their best to keep them happy. Even when there are some really trouble customer, the staff is still able to smile to next customer. That's dificult thing to do.

This is our all time favourite cafe. Staff is also very polite and kind ♥️

It's a joke, says 7pm closing time but got there to find 6pm it's closed

Looks like they haven't opened in months.. opening hours are also wrong

I rate those people working here as big Zero and everything else quite the same

Staff not as expected: Rude , there is a women working as a manager she is head covered always annoy costumers

I drink Costa coffee for quite a while now but never experienced such a disrespectful women toward costumer , I asked for her name to contact the head office to complain about her , but she refused giving me her name. A usually cover her head with scarf , two time she's been rude and disrespectful.

Very quiet place compared to other branches nearby, super friendly team.

This Costa used to be good, but in the last few months it has gone downhill. The toilet, which was refurbished just a few months ago, has been more or less permanently "Out of Order" ever since. Cafés providing eat in services are obliged to provide a working toilet for customers. For the second time in recent months I was told I could not have a plate for my cake, as the dishwasher was not working! I have also arrived here at 6.30pm, to find the place all locked up, when it should be open until 7pm, according to the sign on the door. There does not seem to be a manager on the premises, it seems to be a few young girls running the show. Needs investigation, is the toilet REALLY out of order, or can no one be bothered to clean it? Is the dishwasher REALLY broken again, or can no one be bothered to load it??

Not the best costa to be honest. We ordered 3 drinks and two of them were wrong. The staff were quite blunt but apologetic when they noticed the mistakes. Not the best vibe but not awful.

I was told at 6pm that the dishwasher is broken” hence I can’t even get a cup, to have my coffee here. At 6:15pm I was told they are closing in 15mins me while the hours say they should be open until 7pm. What a rubbish business.

Quite literally the worst Costa I’ve ever been in. They hardly restock their product (what about people that don’t eat eggs or meat and that’s all you have?). Terrible service, the older gentleman working there is unbelievably bad. How can you, during a customer-free time, not clean up the coffee machine and the milk jugs? That’s the most basic part of the job. Instead, people queue for 20 mins because of this. Fix your staff and sort out your food restocking because it’s appalling and I have already been in contact with Costa directors about this branch. Do not go here

As i was making my way in towards the tables, so that i could have taken a seat before making my orders, Irma the employee called me out through the whole room "hi, hello, excuse me, toilet is only for customers" to which i replied if it was possible to sit down in peace... Not a warm welcome when you want to take a short rest. Irma please, change your attitude and approach manners!

Very warm and welcoming staff. Clean and Cosy environment. They are very prompt, polite and, server delicious cakes and drinks. Brilliant new manager who leads by good example.

Company need more experience to employed good face staff

Second time i order The Power and second time i receice a mug of oat milk with coffee.No protein Powder, no hazelnut, no nothing. Just a badly tasting latte. Too bad i was on the train when i tasted it. £4 for absolute rubbish. Had to bin it for the Second time. I honest love your coffee, but cmon , you miss 2 out of the 4 ingredients, WHF?

Used to go here a lot, however the manager is very rude and also many things have gone wrong since returning. Their system never “seems to work” either, so my costs card is never accepted!

Nice and cosy coffee shop with excellent coffee! The cortado goes really well with the raspberry and almond cake and The Black Forest Hot Chocolate and carrot cake are absolutely delicious! Other than that, the shop is clean and the customer service is great!

Female staff bad customer service need to get a new job

Just ordered cortado and was given small latte. It should be 1 espresso to 1 milk

Here goes my 2nd complaint for this store. I am definitely not returning here again, the only reason I opt for this store is simply because it’s next to my nail shop. I ordered my coffee and the barista confirmed the order with me and by the time I got my coffee the order was wrong, the excuse was that she couldn’t hear me through the plastic glass; but then again you confirmed the order through that plastic glass correctly. I’ve been told by a different barista that I was rude because I said “I clearly said oat milk”. She should of just made my drink right and move on, I don’t get how these staff arguing with customers or responding back. Never retuning here because of the staff.

Nice staff. It's a Costa coffee, so what you would expect. The prices seem a bit more than in the countryside, but it is London. It's a short walk the Finsbury Park so nice to grab a coffee, go for a walk and sit in the sun.

Been there a few times, frostino quality always terrible. Liquid like a milk and awful presentation. Baristas looking like they are not getting paid, always upset.

Staff customer services needs improvement. Is it normal for staff memebers to shout across to my table, saying my transaction was voided? It was so embarrassing as the whole coffee shop looking at me. Please advise your employees, that's not how we deal with customers.

Coffee was ok but overpriced food not

This coffee is from the Costa's franchise but we enjoy the place, not bad for a simple breakfast with croissants of a small egg sandwich. We didn't have breakfast at our hotel, then this is a very good option at a low price.

Just stormed out of the shop. The waitress was very rude to the customer in front of me as he was a customer and wanted to use the bathroom . So I intervened and said she should not be having a rude attitude . Then she told me she is on her own and can't manage . Her name is Maria and very very rude she has no customer skills and should not be working behind a counter. Disgusting approach to customers.

It is lovely just to sit back and relax and watch the world go by.

My favourite and preferred chain of Coffee shops. Great loyalty card system and always welcoming atmosphere in every branch. Update March 2018: I just answered some of the Google Guide Yes No questions and thought my replies deserved more explanation. The Costa on Green Lanes is open early for customers to buy pastries or breakfast sandwiches. The lunch range is essentially the same as dinner where dinner will be the unsold items from lunch...so stock will be dependent on how popular or busy lunch was. It is quiet enough for people who like to do office work from their tablets or laptops in coffee shops while welcoming a more sociable small groups. Green Lanes branch stays open slightly later than the Harringay Arena branch nearby.

Generally i do not drink coffee,mocha etc because i don't like but i tried Costa's mocha it was very delicious👍

Needed to waste half an hour so thought I would treat myself to a Costa. Quite a small shop but there were plenty of tables free and it felt clean. Coffee was nice. To be honest it's just as consistent as the other Costa's I have been to. Can't really comment anymore. The perfect way to chill for a few minutes.
