A rather grand venue in this area, beautiful interior and history. Love the fireplace. Those indoor plants make the pub look fab.

Great pub, lovely staff and really nice food

Absolutely fantastic, went for Mother’s Day, service was amazing, food tasted amazing, wide selection of beers, IPA, and cider, my mother had such a lovely time, thank you guys for making it wonderful, all the staff were friendly, ignore the low reviews just silly people that don’t understand how hard it is to work in hospitality.

A nice local pub with lots of seating indoors. Lots of new beers on tap and prices aren't too bad for drinks. They serve Chinese food as table service until pretty late which is pretty good. They were playing the six nations rugby when I last went.

Amongst holding reaaly good evebts, and fantastic evening sessions - this place now also shows football games on the big screen. Brilliant indeed👏 ! I went here to celebrate Chinese New Year and they made a very good effort, making sure the menu and ambience were made to match the theme. Will definitely 💯 keep coming back.

The Salisbury is a great pub with plenty of atmosphere and a extensive range of beers and drinks. The staff are really friendly and the service is top notch. This is our go to pub on green lanes!! Highly recommend!!

I came in here to have a quick drink, I was waiting at the bar and it wasn't too busy but even though the staff made eye contact with me they were serving people who came after me without even approaching me for my order. I was so embarrassed that I left and had a drink elsewhere.

I had a very poor experience here for a Sunday Roast I came with some friends for a roast dinner at about 4pm on a Sunday( we rang up beforehand and were told there’s no need to book, they’re serving roasts til 7pm) I’m a vegetarian and when we tried to order, I was told they’d already ran out of veggie and vegan options. I asked if I could just get a plate with everything except the meat (ie all the veg, potatoes, Yorkies) and said I was happy to pay - the waitress said she will double check with the chef, she took my friends orders and we sat and waited and heard nothing back so assumed all was fine. 30 mins later waitress brings my friends their roasts out and and nothing for me…I ask what was happening with my food and she went back to the kitchen , came back a few minutes later and handed me a tiny bowl with 3 potatoes and a handful of cabbage…?!! She said that was all they could offer me and that she had to beg the chef just to give me some cabbage? I asked why I couldn’t get a plate with carrots, potatoes, yorkies, gravy all the things everyone else was given and she said it wasn’t possible …. If it wasn’t possible for me to eat why not tell me this before taking our orders and making us wait half an hour …before handing me a dogs bowl half filled with cabbage and 3 potatoes..? If you’d have just let me know that’s all you could offer me, we’d have eaten elsewhere. I wouldn’t recommend coming if you’re a veggie or vegan … unless you really love cabbage!!

Good selection of beers, lagers and spirits. UPDATE: did a quiz night (Monday) for the first time. Very good turnout but a tough quiz, need to gen up a bit next time, especially current affairs.

Skip it. Reserved a table for 15, got there and we were shared in 3 different tables far apart. Took 40 minutes to get orders, another 40 to get the food, another 20 to be able to pay. Card machine was not accepting some cards and the printer with the bill also not working. Sunday Roast was 22.50 and very ordinary. Sticky pudding was horrible. Mac n cheese was too soft and cold. Plates left dirty on the table for a long time. Dirty toilets. Dark environment. Go to any other pub around there for food. Beers were fine.

Only dropped in for an early evening drink on a Saturday. Approaching Christmas. This is a beautifully refurbished Victorian pub and hotel. It has plenty of space with a great energetic atmosphere and friendly and helpful staff. I shall definitely return if I get the chance.

One of the best trad pubs in London

Always enjoy this place and how full of history it is unlike alot of places in the area that have upgraded to look like a plastic bar, since last I visited they have a new bar menu called little dragons which is really delicious. To summarise, Great Guinness, Great wings, Great dragon eggs And great ribs And a massive thanks Mallika for serving us.

Wow, I absolutely loved this pub. The atmosphere is perfect, friendly, inviting and complemented by the beautiful and classic interior. The service was excellent, bar staff were happy and helpful and the food was amazing. I definitely recommend the dragon eggs. Our server was brilliant, Mallika, was helpful with recommendations and very knowledgeable of the menu. We received our food quickly and faultlessly. Our compliments to the chef. So proud of this traditional Haringey pub.

Excellent and frequently changing range of beers

Oiiiii the local dish that keeps on giving. The little dragon dark kitchen was questionable a year ago but diversification for the nation is paying dividends. Much more delicious noodles and picky bits on other. And ultimately, there is a couple of Chinese esk burgers (not Chinese at all) which are actually banging. The soft shell crab burger delivers. You can feel the components of the crab as you are eating it which I know is a bit gross… but can’t knock that texture. Also chips umm ummmm. And they bring you a mayo and ketchup without asking. It’s important business aye. Beers always good. The fun tap end of the bar never disappoints. Was slightly annoyed to hear they no longer have the fentilmens ginger beer bottles but it’s been replaced by a kopparberg blood orange ginger beer. Brain saying ugh, Taste buds saying yes pleeezzze

Fantastic time at the Salisbury - lovely selection for Sunday Roast and really nice venue. Lady at the bar and waitress who served our table were very friendly. Great selection of beer/ale - will be back again without a doubt!

This is the third time my wife and I have upset stomachs after going. I wonder how well they look after their beer lines. Otherwise great selection of beers and atmosphere.

One of the most beautiful large pubs I've ever been to. Most of the North London pubs have been gutted and modernised for the worse in the last 30 years, so glad they kept the original features, like the Great Northern Railway Tavern in Hornsey.

Epic and Iconic place rich of history and in same time an amazing spot where to get chilled drinking lovely beers.. if your're in London can't miss it.....

Absolutely horrible service. Bartenders do Not respect people. Place is filled with glasses no one cleaned up. Bartenders attitude is beyond ridiculous. No thank u upon serving... horrible vibes...really put off...stay away from curly looking little woman behind the bar....she is nasty....only She wants is get people out and go home she hates her job ....she is unreasonable really bad and unwelcoming little moody creature .... This is place with good beer....but staff and their approach is bad and sad.... AVOID

The Salisbury Hotel in Harringay is a gem that I highly recommend checking out. The pub boasts a cosy and inviting atmosphere, with traditional decor and plenty of seating options. The staff are friendly and attentive, and they have a great selection of beers and spirits. It's a great spot to unwind with friends and enjoy a few drinks.

I don't think that they need any extra reviews when already the time out magazine has mentioned it as one of the best pubs. It is true especially when we are talking for the area.

Zero customer service knowledge! The woman behind the bar was very rude and not attentive at all. She continually yawned and It was obvious that she didn't want to deal with people. To avoid.

My boyfriend and I went there for Sunday lunch. I had the vegan option and it was absolutely amazing. The jackfruit was delicious and the portion was big. The staff was nice and kind, and everyone had a joyful attitude. I would definitely go back, as I am keep thinking of that jackfruit.

The vegetarian roast was a tasteless, nasty mush with no distinguishable flavour of spinach, butternut squash or Ricotta cheese! the Roast potatoes were hard and small and horrible. The cabbage was bitter and horrible. The Yorkshire was freezing cold. Stupidly overpriced at £16! Just horribel, and a poor vareiety of vegetables. The Apple Crumble was really black burnt on top and there was only a tiny jug of custard, so i ran out before the crumble was even half way down. The custard was that cheap yellow nasty stuff. For £5 a pudding I would expect more. Service was ok, though i waited 20 mins for the pudding. Staff nice. Nice pub but dont bother withe the food!

This is the best roast dinner I’ve had in ages!! The beef, pork, potatoes and veg were cooked perfectly, but the prize has to go to the gravy, it’s absolutely fantastic. The staff were great too, so I’d definitely recommend the Sunday Lunch and it’s also great value.

Come for the beer, avoid the Mexican food. Unless you want to try the worst burrito in London (we couldn’t finish them). (Edit: the food has switched over to Chinese, so the Salisbury has happily lost the title of worst burrito in London. Sadly, the food is still the most disappointing thing about an otherwise excellent pub.)

Good sized pub with lots going on. Lovely Victorian fittings and huge bar area. Good selection of refreshments. Card only payment and customer service can be hit and miss depending who's on.

Local pub - lovely place to come for a pint or for a regular event. Plenty of space. Prices more like zone 2 London, but still - worth it. Lively even on weekdays.

You can see the owners are trying to create a great local pub for Haringey.There are stuffed birds in glass boxes above the bar, velvet curtains and little nooks for you to drink in privacy.Also Chinese food available.So different from your average local pub.
