Great pub with a friendly atmosphere and good selection of drinks. Couple of real ales on. Gets busy when Arsenal home games are on. Has an in-house Thai restaurant which does great food.

Absolutely incredible, reasonably priced out with an absolutely incredible beer garden. The selection of beers is excellent with beamish guiness and Murphy’s, perfect for all. Will visit again and again.

The only thing that makes this a bit of a let down was no dedicated female toilets. The staff directed us to the disabled.

I had a 5 star review on this pub because it has fantastic Guiness and Murphy’s. But the bouncers are absolute jobsworth freaks. They followed my friend when he left the bar to go somewhere else keeping an eye on him for no reason. Clearly aren’t smart enough to get in the police and have decided to be bouncers instead. Seriously scary behaviour following people

Even in the middle of Jan this place was packed and had a good atmosphere. But the Food was terrible- we got served cooked chicken which was clearly off. Why pick Thai food if you can’t cook it? Its all over the reviews here, as being bad. Just make pizzas or burgers.

Great service! Great organization to accommodate all customers and the bouncers were noticing and seating people really impressed. There wasn't massive waiting time at the bar as well a few minutes. Great place!

I bought seven shots today at your pub, accidentally the punter next to me spilt all my shots. I had asked for the manager to possibly reimburse the seven shots as it’s Christmas however no worries if not, the manager rudely ignored me I then proceeded to ask the manager from the side of the bar, the manager was then very patronising and what I would say prejudice as he was very disregarding to being open to hear the experience I went through, me suspecting as I was a tall dark looking fella. As a result of this I was very upset and tried to express, this ended up in e being escorted out of the venue after spending 50£ on shots which were spilt before I even picked up the tray. If this could be solved any way shape or form I would really appreciate as one of your staff confronted me really aggressively as I was escorted out. Even just a chat would be very beneficial for me as I felt really disrespected and unheard by staff, especially on Christmas Eve when I had bought seven shots

Great Thai food, Murphy’s on tap.

I went with friends and we were seated next to the toilets... there is no ventilation and you can hear the toilets flushing. Food service is at strange times so we could only order overpriced crisps and nuts to the table to accompany our drinks, but honestly if I had real food I probably would have vomited. Not sure why they would have seating basically in the toilets area. Common sense would say this is a bad idea. Definitely wait extra to NOT sit in their indoor courtyard or whatever they call it. Get the roof or outside!

Love this pub. Best pub in Finsbury Park. Great vibe and atmosphere and amazing Thai food (with veggie options). They also have decent screens for the footy.

It’s a great pub but the food really lets it down. The pad thai was strangely sweet and very small portion. The people I went with didn’t enjoy what they ordered either. The quiz was very fun.

Felt like a top pub for sport. Nice looking, ivy strewn building on the outside. Once inside it’s a Mecca to both rugby and football and had a large area with screens to watch matches as well as a neat looking bar area. Serves food too.

I’ve been coming here on and off for years, and it hasn’t changed much – a testament to its appeal as a fun, energetic spot. It can be a bit tricky to navigate, and there can be a wait for drinks, but the bar staff are friendly, and they accept CityStack, which is a bonus. The beer selection is solid too. Definitely worth a visit in North London.

Amazing atmosphere. Bar is incredible slow. Live music so authentic. People so friendly and sharing tables. But someone stole my coat and security didn’t even move fingers. I found on my own effort.

Okay pub but hair in the food which ruined the meal😔 Cooks should really wear hair nets, I walked past the kitchen and they weren’t wearing them. Very unhygienic.

the name! haha it’s alliterative… faltering… not a word you’d think to find in a pub name. it’s a bit onomatopoeic no? or maybe even autological? the word starts with such power in the first syllable then seems to lose steam as it goes forward, collapsing into a meek and common —ing….. but then! fullback! what a snappy one-two punch! pulls the energy back up and closes the title with a punchy, spat syllable. love it good name. anyway i haven’t been but apparently the beer garden is big ? that’d be nice in summertime

Fortunate to have this as a local for 6 months. Definitely (in my opinion) one of the coolest pubs in London. Atmosphere is unreal, with the place having heaps of character. Definitely visit this slice of paradise if you haven't already.

The food was delicious, the service was quick, and the ambiance was warm and cozy. The staff was attentive, and the dishes were flavorful. A perfect dining experience!

Sometimes bouncers won’t let you sit down and it’s always heaving. Better pubs in my opinion.

This is hands down the best pub in London!

Ok, used to love the place, obviously mostly for the beer garden, which is indeed really nice. BUT I seriously don’t like being harassed by staff when I am the first of my group to arrive (at 4:45pm) and get a spot large enough to accommodate my friends that are coming a bit later. And now, I have two friends, who were literally standing just to wait for everyone’s orders before heading downstairs, that no one is allowed to stand in that area. Customers service is truly appalling, or just overzealous?

Great place, a bit loud if you’re hard of hearing like myself. But the atmosphere is absolutely great when there isn’t a game on. Although I did find it odd that such and English pub serves Thai food and no pub grub 🤔

Amazing place with an extraordinary garden. But on Fridays and Saturdays, It may not be possible to find a place in the Garden. Better arrive early.

Great pub for a game of footy or ruggerz

Went too this Pub after the Arsenal v Brighton match (Aug 31st) too enjoy a few beers & for a different atmosphere from the other pubs around the Emirates & I have too say had a great conversation with the Owner really friendly & top bloke & received superb customer service from his friendly bar staff would highly recommend visiting.Lots of Big Screens for all footy lovers Lovely creamy pints of Guinness & Top Food aswell a hidden gem around Finsbury Park.Its literally a 10min Walk from Finsbury Park Tube Station.

Visited today just to see THAT beer garden and let me tell you, I've never seen something like that before. I would spend whole days there, enjoying weather, food and good chat. So many nooks and crannies, don't know how it looks like when game is played. They have massive area on the back with few TV's if you enjoy sports, or live music. Service was super fast, but I visited early afternoon, was one of the first customers. Main area is super cosy, feels old in the best way possible. Good selections of beers on tap, they have 0% as well. Can't described how impressed I'm with this establishment, one of kind pub.

Usually like FF but during a recent visit they put the football on with the sound deafeningly loud, and when asked if it could be turned down a touch we were told no. We couldn’t even hear what food the servers were putting on the table it was that loud! Food was ok but overpriced and a terrible atmosphere to eat in.

Hands down best pub in North London. Great selection of beers, seating options, and great vibes. Best Pad Kra Pow I've ever tasted. I considered gate keeping this place, but it feels selfish considering how great it is.

One of the best pubs in north London

Don’t bother going in the evening if you bring a dog, they kick you out even if it’s not busy. We arrived at 5pm and got told no dogs were allowed after 7 because it gets super busy, which is understandable. However at 7pm it had not gotten any busier (in fact it got less busy!) and we asked if they could stay till it did get busy but the bouncers insisted my friend and her dog leave. Space did not get busier throughout the night, we left at 11pm, sad our friend got kicked out for no reason at all.

The staff in the pub are lovely, it is a shame security cannot replicate this. The security on shift were the rudest and most arrogant I have ever come across.

Went there to watch the football, lovely pub with nice decorations and plenty of seating. They have a main room with two large TVs to watch the games. The staff were friendly, service was speedy, and the drinks were average London price. Definitely the best pub in Finsbury Park.

Went here for a trivia night on a Monday. It was surprisingly busy and the atmosphere was great. Good drinks and food. The trivia questions were interesting, aimed towards a much older audience though.

What a quirky little garden space! Love the ordering method via QR codes as well! Service is very quick and lovely! Will try the Thai food next time but they look smashing! I love that Jubel beer is on the menu too!

The Faltering Fullback is a gem of a pub in Finsbury Park. Its cozy atmosphere, friendly staff, and excellent selection of drinks make it a perfect spot for a casual night out. The beer garden is particularly charming. Highly recommend for a relaxed evening with friends!

Quite possibly the greatest pub in the world. The back garden is a Tolkien-esque woodland with happy drunken hobbits everywhere. Live music is at worst bearable guitar covers, at best rabble-rousing Irish jigs. The owners are lovely, as is the staff. Guinness and Thai food may seem like a strange mix, but it just works. Even the hangovers are pleasant.

Remaining perfectly calm, I called the rules re!^#ed and said we'd go back downstairs to stand, which we did. He followed us like a hound calling a pack of bouncers who aggressively circled us and demanded we leave like a mob of thugs. I cba to argue (as contrary to them I have an actual life) and said we'd leave, which we did. They followed us all the way to the street asking for a provocation to assault us (which of course they'd never have the b!akd# to do in equal numbers). Guess what we did? Completely ignored them and spent our money at the next pub down the road. This place is obviously a front for something else. Pathetic. Avoid like the plague or risk your safety.

Tucked around the back of Finsbury Park the FF is a real Finsbury Park institution. This was my first visit and on this evidence I will definitely look to come back. The place is massive with several floors and multiple outdoor terraces. As it was such a nice day they were unfortunately all full so we sat inside. Busy and buzzing and plenty of screens if you want to watch the sport. Good selection of ales too.

Super aggressive minimum wage bouncers try to provoke customers so they can find meaning in their lives. Not worth your sweat. Avoid and go down the road.
