Delia our server was warm friendly, knowledgeable about the food and served us fantastically. We had fantastic upstairs window table allow us to watch the world go by. The chefs tasting menu was amazing. We’ll be back soon!!

We had a lovely time sitting at the bar for a pre-theater dinner. All of the small plates were tasty and we particularly enjoyed the croquetas. Great wine recommendations from Karolis too!

I stopped in for a quick cocktail before a show, Karolis was my bartender. My first introduction to a Lithuanian, interesting, intelligent competent man behind the bar - ENJOY!

Excellent! The best here is insanely good and worth the money. Would highly recommend sliders, stuffed courgette flowers and flatbread. Staff are excellent and really attentive. Can't wait to go back

The food is amazing and the drink selection was wonderful! Great place to have a celebratory dinner or catch up with a friend. The bar snacks are delicious and perfect to share.

The food was very good. The portions wer rather small unfortunately, especially for the price. They did charge us 12.5% because of allergyinformations they gave us. We didn‘t ask about for any information, they offered to give them for us. To me that seems a bit weird to charge people for basic information.

Highly recommended this place to anyone looking for a perfect lunch spot with great food and a peaceful environment! Special thanks to “Delia” for the warm service :)

We love coming here after shopping in Covent Garden. Great place, lovely staff and fantastic food. We love sharing the tapas small plates, which are delicious, especially the iberico mini burgers, although off the menu at the moment, but I’m sure they will be back again soon - hint hint. I had dinner with few friends and the food and the service really surprised us. The food was mouth watering and the service of Jose was excellent, he advised us what to order at every step of the dinner and explained all the ingredients. I highly recommend this place and don’t hesitate to ask Jose what to order.

We eat here often pre theatre. Everything is always perfect. Lovely staff, Leah and Gabi this time, so friendly and good fun also knowledgeable, one of the group is GF, and there is a separate menu with all allergens on it. Wine is a bit pricey but very nice, we had a few bottles of Douro and a glass of Carva. Going again next week, can’t wait! We always have a plate of Iberico ham to start then the delicious pork belly, then a mixture of other dishes.

So enjoyed my first experience here! One of my dear friends brought me here and from our drinks at the bar to the warm, professional service at our table it was marvellous. Gabi and Delia took such good care of us. I enjoyed the whole vibe. Comtortable, chic, and fantastic food with good reccomendations from all. Highlights were the fillet and the bass. Will be back!

Came here with my significant other and had a wonderful time. Delia was great and was super attentive. The food consisted of small plates with a mix of unique flavours. Delia even gave us a dessert on the house after complimenting me and my significant other - so sweet!

Optamos por sentarnos en el bar y nos hicieron sentir bienvenidos de inmediato por el barman muy amable, Karolis. Nos guió a través del menú y nos sirvió un delicioso vino rosado. No dude en venir aquí - la comida es absolutamente deliciosa y las porciones son generosas. Teníamos pimientos padrón, huevo escocés, patatas bravas, boquerones, vientre de cerdo, flor de calabacín rellena y la lubina. ¡Yum!

Desafortunadamente tuvimos una experiencia muy pobre. El primer plato (que era nuestro Main) llegó frío y tuvo que ser devuelto para ser re-calentado. El servicio fue lento durante todo el tiempo con largas esperas y tuvo que ser impulsado por nuestro personal llamante. Había dos mesas vacías cerca de nosotros durante todo nuestro tiempo en la taberna que supongo que lo dice todo un sábado por la noche en Covent Garden! Definitivamente no volveremos.

We had a great service by Oliver, great food and atmosphere.

Oliver looked after the 3 of us so well. Our small plates were perfectly timed so we never had too many dishes at once, all of which were delicious. The location is great for the Theatre Royal but I would go back just for the food and amazing service. Also, the padron pepper margarita was so good - cheers!

Great food and excellent service from Aaron, but unfortunately the restaurant suffers from the same affliction affecting many a place these days in that the seats are way too close together. The bench style seating means you are as likely to be sitting as close to the two strangers on either side of you as you are to your dining companion opposite you. Needless to say you can hear every word being said on the other tables. I realise times are hard in hospitality these days and places are looking to maximise revenue - but does this approach work when diners don't return due to the poor table layout? Note also - when booking I specifically (and politely) asked for a table with good spacing. There is one such table upstairs in the middle of the room, but when we arrived we were not seated there. Seeing as it looked as if they could seat 3 people on it, I didn't question why we had not been seated there. Half an hour after we were seated, a couple turned up and were seated on that table, so it seems the restaurant don't take note of any requests you make. Despite the excellent food and service we won't be returning. London still offers sufficient choice that there is no need to accept these terrible seating arrangements. (While we there another couple was seated nearby, after 5 minutes of mumbling amongst themselves, they got up and left). A shame.

Always a fantastic restaurant serving the very best Tapas. The service is friendly, efficient and professional. The food quality was excellent with delicious, carefully curated traditional tapas dishes. It doesn’t matter what you order. It’s all good. My waitress Delia was a superb host. You are in luck if you get her.

It was my 22 yr old nieces birthday and we had been to an exhibition followed by an early dinner at the Opera Tavern which was a recommendation from a friend a few weeks before. It was a lovely lovely experience, all staff were incredibly professional and friendly who managed to achieve a fab balance of being present and invisible at the same time. Richie was our main server and was brilliant with an even more brilliant memory as he wrote nothing down about our order which is such wizardry in my book! He had obviously listened to an early comment I had made about it being Nancy’s birthday as when her dessert came it had Happy Birthday written in chocolate which was a wonderful touch. I will be back with my husband this time for another great experience. Thank you so much Sally

This is our favorite place to stop in London. We make it a point to come here every visit. This last time Karolis took care of us. We couldn’t be happier. Try the croquettes, the pardoned peppers, and the Italicus spritz.

Delicious pre-theatre meal. Each dish very well put together. Pork belly was the star of the show. Drinks menu just needs an IPA.

Can’t praise this little gem enough! brought my daughter for her birthday before the Ballet Setting was perfect, we sat at the window watching the world go by opposite the Theatre Royal. Food was incredible with great attention it detail and staff very helpful with choices. Our waiter Aaron made the evening very special and was very attentive and friendly. Even brought us a lovely little birthday desert Think we’ve found our new favourite place in Covent Garden !

Nice quite little place with tasty tapas. Red wine could be a bit colder and beer selection wider, yet overall had a great time there.

Warm Martini followed by some tepid white wine and very meh food. In particular the tempura broccoli was very greasy and quite inedible. The staff are lovely, at least.

We were here last year ( I’m slow to do review) for pre theatre drinks and food . Delia and the other staff were very nice , the food was lovely and it was close to the theatre .

The food here is excellent. The braised ox cheek is highly recommended. Delia’s service is attentive & graceful. It’s not cheap, but it is very good quality.

Great place for a pre theatre meal ( directly opposite Theatre Royal Drury Lane). Spanish and Italian Tapas. Busy and buzzing with no unnecessary delay either in being seated or served. Food was excellent varied and tasty. Service was amazing from Karolis. Friendly efficient and helpful. We ate at the bar but seemed as good as being at one of the tables. Would definitely visit again.

So good! I definitely want to go back here. Located in Covent Garden and very close to the ROH, I visited with a friend before a show. We shared three dishes between us, which was plenty. Highly recommend the ox cheek and truffle mash - so tasty! Most of the menu was also Gluten Free :)

It was a pleasure to attend an event at Opera Tavern. Fantastic experience with food and drinks and an excellent location. Couple of people deserve the praise for hosting such a beautiful event and with a great care and they are Irina and Aaron, well done guys!
