The Duke Burger is in my experience the best burger I have had ever. It was delicious.

Everyone was pleasant and helpful from the moment the door opens, and until you leave. Food comes well presented and plenty of it. You will not go away hungry as with some. Best to book if you can but they did accommodate walk-ins while we were. there.

We had our wedding reception here and I cannot fault Sam and the team at the Duke of Wellington. The food was all served within good time especially considering there were 28 people to serve! And it tasted delicious too. We were able to use the function room upstairs for our party and we even had a singer guitarist in the space. We would definitely recommend this as a relaxed yet slick wedding reception venue!

The Duke is absolutely spot on! We met with local friends, friends who had flown in from LA, and we travelled down from the midlands- and we were immediately felt welcome and at home. The bar and dining space is relaxed and casual. Staff are wonderfully friendly and THE FOOD - OMG; the Duke's kitchen crew turned out the most amazing, flavour-packed, dishes. We enjoyed starters and the Sunday roasts. Damn, that was sooooooooooo good. Absolutely 5 stars on all counts, make this your next Sunday lunch destination!

Lovely staff - had the most amazing Bloody Mary ever, made by the nice and friendly boy behind the counter. Place is busy but not packet with cars. You’re central without the unwanted fuss. Definitely will come back!!

The worst Sunday roast in London. The beef was like pieces of bacon, flat, tasteless and full of fat.

Didn't try the food myself but what my friends ordered looked delicious. The drinks were great, the pub was nice, and the staff was friendly and accommodating. We were a big group but they were patient and even helped us with a cake we brought in. Would definitely be back!

We had our wedding celebration here and everything was spectacular. This is really one of the best venues in London for a small, intimate wedding. We had just over 30 people and we had the most amazing evening. The food was delicious and the service and atmosphere were perfect. We’ve also eaten here a few times before and after the wedding and their Sunday Roast is definitely one of the best!

Went in for Sunday roast with the family and had one of the best roast beefs I’ve had in my life. Service was great and it was overall a very enjoyable visit. Will definitely be back.

If you’re looking for any Duke of Wellington swag, there is none. The bar has a very specific name, and pass up on taking advantage of it. The rock and roll posters I can see in any Pub are lame.

We recently hosted our wedding reception at the Duke of Wellington and it was absolutely perfect! The food was amazing, the drinks were flowing and the vibe was just what we wanted for our reception. Sam and the team went above and beyond in helping us with all our specific requests and everyone had the most amazing time! Definitely recommend visiting this pub!

This place was busy, tables packed right outside and low on staff at first but the service was excellent and the menu adventurous. Choose carefully. We basically put together a few side dishes and had a real good meal. Included 🥒 cucumber, chilli and 🥜 peanuts all in one it was great. Highly recommended and although it looks dear, it isn’t. The staff were brilliant

As nice as this pub looks its full of mice, dirty basement and the owners treat the staff poor in terms of working hours. Working here is like slavery

I asked for tap water and they charged me £1 for “optional charity water” on the bill 🙃 Edit in response to their reply: while it’s commendable that they’re raising money for charity, they should inform customers of that when they order something they’d rightly assume to cost nothing. People often feel awkward about disputing small amounts on bills, especially when it’s claimed to be for charity, and should have full disclosure about any charity donations with no pressure to make a decision. The bill should not be the first time you hear about it. (Also, personally I felt like I was being rushed out a bit as soon as I finished my drink as it was busy, so I just paid the bill and left without questioning it. I was frustrated enough by the £5.50 price tag on the Corona 😂)

Very friendly staff, who were very accommodating and welcoming! Opted for the roasts which were all great. Highly advise booking ahead to avoid disappointment and so that the team can ensure there is ample space for your reservation! Coffee was also great at the end of the meal.

Lovely pub. Stopped a few times on walk back from work to hotel . Nice staff and good atmosphere. Happy to charge my phone for me whilst I had a drink and made us two northern lads feel very welcome. Look forward to returning .

Nice pub, but you need to reserve a table. It doesn't really cater for punters off the street, with all the tables reserved on a Wednesday evening, and limited bar and floor space to stand up and drink.

Steak for 34 £ wasn't worth it..definitely not cooked medium. There was no consistency and no flavour For this price I'm expecting the best piece of meat cooked to absolute perfection. The burger had a weird taste to it. Fish wasnt fresh so fish and chips was a flop. I mean its a classic so how was that not cooked well. We left all this behind ,coughed up a bill of almost 200 quid, but no apologies and nothing to compensate for an average lunch.

Food and wine was pretty good, although the hake looked more starters size than main. The service on a Saturday was glacial. We arrived at 1930; at 2150 we were enquiring where the desserts were as my friends would have to leave shortly to catch her train. "2 minutes". We paid to speed things up. Just after 2200 my friend leaves to catch her train. About 5 minutes later the desserts arrive.

Absolutely stunning place. Fantastic range of beers and incredible food! We had 2 burgers and WOW! We were so impressed with the Fantastic range of flavours in the veggie burger also. And all in a great place - really friendly and cosy pub lovely atmosphere and exceptional customer service! We plan to stay here all night drinking the night away! Haha! Couldn't recommend enough!

I booked the private space upstairs for team drinks and dinner and it went perfectly. Sam was amazing and very attentive, he and the rest of the team did an awesome job catering to our large group. It never felt like we had to wait long to order drinks and the food was really good. My team had nothing but positive feedback for the evening. We will be back. :)

Lovely pub! The service was good and the staff were very friendly. It's a very cosy pub and well with only a few tables. I would definitely recommend this place! I had olives and then the beef tartare with fries, and it was all delicious!

The service is absolutely horrific. The ladies are rude, unresponsive and disrespectful. They have no regard for customers or have any idea of what service is. I would give 0 stars if I could but I have to give one. Our whole Friday evening was ruined. There is a Curly haired lady who is in particular extremely rude.

The Duke of Wellington has, by far, the best Sunday roast in London. The meat is always so perfectly cooked, and the portions are generous. While it is on the pricey side, I can 100% justify the price as it's simply delicious. The sides always compliment the main dish and the beer selection is very generous as well. The staff are also extremely friendly, giving the pub a classic British feel. The Duke of Wellington comes HIGHLY recommended.

My wife and I chose the Duke of Wellington for our Christmas lunch because it is local, and we had been there before for a Sunday lunch. Unfortunately, it was a repeat that should not have happened. The set menu for Christmas lunch was an absolute disaster, from the first course to the last. Starting with tasteless baked Goat Cheese sitting on something maybe it was toast, hard enough to blister my gum. Next, the Beef Wellington, supposed to be the centrepiece, came swimming in some liquid, passing for gravy. The outside pastry coating was sogged and limp, served over some vegetables that had seen better days. To finish something, they called Christmas pudding. I call it a mess. For three people, two diet cokes, two glasses of wine and one Gin & Tonic, a staggering £480.00 Overall, overpriced and overcooked, never to be repeated.

Excellent food. Great Christmas Day service. Such a memorable night.

Muy mal trato al menos a nosotros, primero nos dijeron que tenian una mesa y luego se la ofrecieron a otros clientes que llegaron mas tarde dejandonos fuera para acabar echandonos con malas palabras, sin motivo, la camarera rubia muy desagradable, quiero pensar que fue un mal dia de la trabajadora pero aun asi no lo recomiendo.

We loved this place for lunch! We got the burrata to start which was lovely, and then the fish and chips (pictured) as our main with a green salad on the side. Everything hit the spot and the service was so friendly and welcoming. Great drinks as well - we got the kir royale and aperol spritz. Loved the overall vibe and the music too. Highly recommend!

One of the best pubs in central London. Great service, loads of beers on tap, fantastic food, excellent wine list, an always convivial atmosphere. The burger is hard to beat. Well done to the team. This is how a pub should be.

London Pride Bitter £40 per gallon ! Still amazed how these rogue pubs get away with charging £5 plus for a pint of ale ? ( dread to think of the price of spirits & wine )Must rely on tourists and general mugs ! When it's widely known to cost around a £1.20 a pint wholesale.. After all if large pub chains with their enormous overheads can offer the same product with a higher level of service in more comfortable suroundings for less than half the price i.e. £2.19 ( and still make a healthy profit ) for a pint of London Pride in any Wetherspoon Pub throughout Britain why should anyone but a fool choose to encourage these chancers and pay £40 plus per gallon for their pint ? Little wonder why so many pubs are closing down lately......vote with your feet !

Absolutely exceptional food and service! Came here for the first time last night with an old friend. We were so well looked after from the moment we arrived, the staff really do go above and beyond to make you feel welcome and educate you about the food and wine which was appreciated. The food was of an incredible standard - we had the Japanese inspired Scotch Egg and the pork neck fillet - all of it was 10/10. The wine was also amazing and reasonably priced. The place was packed too so atmosphere was great. Thank you so much for a wonderful evening. Can't wait to come back!

Quaint and cosy London pub tucked away just close enough from the hustle and bustle of the high street. The charming manager Sam warmly welcomed me and explained the well thought out food menu that didn't fail to get the juices going. Delicious! Good pairing of wines and a scrumptious dessert followed by a fresh coffee... Highly recommend! The two upstairs dining rooms are great spaces for bigger parties and more refined personal dining moments. Toilets are very well kept downstairs. There is outside seating for sunny days and the crowd here are a good mix of locals, workers and excelling students. Well worth stopping by for a taste of London life. Will definitely be back to try the Sunday roast!!

An amazing restaurant to visit in the heart of Marylebone: We visited for the 2nd time since finding this amazing pub in December. The staff were very kind , helpful and attentive and made for an enjoyable lunchtime. We both had the sunday roasts which have to say were phenominally good. I had roast pork with crackling (soaked in vodka overnight), plus yorkshire pudding, roast potatoes, carrots and cabbage and my wife had the roast beef etc.. Have to say the Sunday Roasts were probably one of the best , tastetiest and delicious meals we have ever had in our lives, all praise to the amazing chef. To follow we had the glorious sticky toffee pudding with ice cream and rubbarb and apple with custard, utterly scrumpcious. If you are ever in the area and want great food , this is the place to go. Also I have never seen such an amazing and extensive wine menu!, if you like your wines etc., you are in for a real treat. The management raise the bar of experience to a new level, can't wait to return.

Don’t eat here, they will rob you. The Duke wants to charges top quality prices but can’t provide the quality to back the food up. The meal was decent, but even in Marylebone for the same price you can go to a far superior restaurants and have a superior meal. Don’t pay for a fancy meal just to have a high tier school dinner.

Popular, attractive pub serving delicious and innovative food. It was so busy when I went I couldn't really get a good look at the pub - appeared smart and clean - bar staff very friendly. We had a table booked for upstairs, which was very nice, and a lot quieter. Can't give a wide review on the food, as two of us had the steak and two had the fish and chips. I had the steak with stilton butter and thought it was wonderful, nicely charred, perfectly cooked, and more than ample. The chips were also delicious. I was told the fish was good - it looked amazing to me, but I didn't taste it. The staff were great all round! The prices were very good too. I would definitely go back next time in the area.
