My favorite place in London to grab a few midday pints. Not only is it a historic spot but has great attentive staff, friendly patrons and a nice selection of draft beers. Was recently bought by a large brewery and I hope that they can retain the essence that has made this place special for the 30 years I’ve been frequenting this place…….

Just feeling the gusts of history. Jack The Ripper in 1888 ravaged these neighborhoods

One of my favorite stops when in London. The obvious stop for Ripper fans and folks taking the tour - stop before and after! Smaller bar but cozy, solid and attentive staff. No food, save some chips but plenty of other places around to eat so no worries. Very old London feel to the bathrooms, but they do the job! Espresso martinis ON DRAFT! Always at least a little busy so fun atmosphere. Be sure to stop at Spitalfields market across the street, another must see. Aldgate East was closed underground stop! Stop by, you'll have fun!

Our second drink was a little short, we asked why and the waiter decided to fill it with Lemmon juice

Lots of history. Looked awesome, but didn't visit because we wanted food instead of just drinks.

Been wanting to go to this pub since reading about Jack the Ripper. Lovely decor, nicely situated and an easy to find pub. Was empty when I went in, bar staff were friendly. Such an iconic pub, will definitely be heading back again.

Quite a busy little pub, we visited during our Jack the Ripper tour. Reasonably priced, decent selection of beers and friendly staff. Toilets were a little pungent though.

This pub is a shambles the staff are clueless and embarrassing, the manager clearly installs the wrong message into the staff , I’m utterly shocked how they act not only to the customer but the product they where serving. would rather sit at home with my ex wife , avoid at all costs

Can’t get more “British Pub” than The Ten Bells! Great location in East end. Awesome people watching location with a pint in your hand. A ton of history - can’t beat drinking where Jack the Ripper drank. Friendly bartenders. Good selection of beers and an awesome Pims cup. Perfect London afternoon break from the crowds.

One of London's historic pubs, of those in which strange presences have manifested themselves, sadly famous for a bloody and brutal death in the past, and perhaps above all famous for this event. Excellent beer, although not reasonably priced. Friendly and helpful staff.

Always stop off for a couple of pints here when I'm in London a great place no Bells or whistles just it is what it is a good vibe

The Ten Bells is a smaller pub on site since the 17th century and a character in the Jack the Ripper legend. The basement bathrooms are said to be haunted but the pints upstairs and music are enjoyable as well. Wish they had merch, I'd be buying Ten Bells Pub shirts for everyone back home. If you do the Ripper tour, come back for a couple pints at the Ten Bells. Lots of history.

Literally flew in from Canada for 24 hours, just to spend a night at the Ten Bells Pub.. One of London's most iconic Pubs. I was told by the millennial blonde manager that there was "no record of the reservation in her system". After being informed of the trip, she could have cared less that a patron flew 5,804 kilometers to visit and directed me to the top floor of the building to play computer bar trivia. New ownership took over 48 hours ago. You guys are off to a brilliant start! Well done!! If I could leave you zero stars, I would.

Great pub! Perfect place to have a couple of beers

popped in for a pint because of its history. Barmaid was nice and friendly. The place was clean and tidy. The Camden Hells was good.Glad we visited.

Stopped at the pub while meeting with a few friends. The building itself is really historic and positioned very well with standing tables with cover outside. Around £6.70 for a pint of hells and unfortunately not a great selection of real ales. Overall not bad.

I found the first IPA I actually like here. Great pub to grab a pint.

The place is a 10/10, but the toilets are a hole.

If you have the opportunity to go upstairs don't miss it ! It kinda feels dark and bit spooky... Definitely feels old and you can picture how it was back in the 19th century.

Went with some friends here. The former Jack the Ripper pub. Trendy. Great atmosphere. Friendly people there.

One of the oldest venues in London, evocative and perfectly maintained over time. Even today it recalls the stories of Jack the Ripper in a singular atmosphere of today

Along with a few others we arrived slightly before opening time at 12 on a Sunday so was fortunate to have a choice of seats. Much smaller than we expected , but retained enough charm that we were not disappointed. I think most were like us and had found the pub intriguing due to the Ripper history, it filled up very quickly. The church next door is fabulous also.

Rachel was the most helpful bartender, the most amazing person ever! very eager to help us on our way and generally very lovely!

Staff are always so friendly. Music too loud for chatting with friends though!

Decent pub, good pub quiz with separate room upstairs

Stopped here for drinks after eating at the Flat Iron and had a great experience. Nice ale, lots of choice and overall great vibe. managed to find a table with some seats and spent the evening enjoying the beer. The toilets are down some steep stairs but they may have some disabled on the ground but am unsure. Lovely service and fair prices. Great evening had by us all.

Nice pub. Staff are lovely and polite. Has a nice atmosphere. Have only been on a weekday evening.

Couldn't get in with teenage children. Shame to be turned away in the middle of the day when a vast majority of pubs are happy to welcome all until a certain time. We found a much more welcoming traditional pub down the road.

Untrained bar staff for busy lunchtime shift. Historic setting, but tatty. Poor choice of pub

After getting together enough chairs at a table of a crowded pub, whilst two members of our family were waiting at the table whilst others got drinks, two members of staff started taking the chairs and table away to our outside! Regardless of the fact we were sitting there, we were told if we wanted to sit then to go outside where he had placed the tables. We literally had our table taking away from us as paying customers! Absolutely terrible service. Don’t waste your money.

The place where "Jack the Ripper's" last two victims were last seen alive. Parts of the floor and decor date back to that time frame. Located across the street from "Ten Bells Church". Very pleasant service.

A favourite of mine since 2010 - The Ten Bells has everything you want in a pub. Great drinks, great service, interesting history and a great crowd. Atmosphere is hopping at the weekends as well and it’s handy in and out for smokers. You can’t go wrong. Also handy for Liverpool Street trains and tasty food on Brick Lane.

Went went here as a stop off following the Jack the Ripper trail. What a blinkin' good find!!! The Ten Bells is a lovely lively pub that we all wish was our local. Great and large selection of beers and even better service. Well done to the team.

Good London pub, with some good ales on tap. Not much room to sit down but plenty of standing room and the bar is in the centre so plenty of space to get to the bar. Didn’t have any food so left this rating blank

What a great place to stop and have a drink while taking a self guided walking tour of street art in the area. I love that you can enjoy a beer on the streetside.

A traditional bustling London pub that offers a wide selection of beers, wines & spirits. The walls have over a hundred years of memories! Careful when you walk down the steps to the toilet though, very steep!

Bevor wir die Jack the Ripper Tour gemacht haben, sind wir hier auf ein Guinness eingekehrt. Annie Chapman und Mary Jane Kelly, zwei der Ripper-Opfer, sollen angeblich zuletzt in diesem Pub gesehen worden sein. Im Pub fühlt man sich in die Zeit zurück versetzt und kann sich ansatzweise vorstellen, wie es hier damals gewesen ist. Die Wandfliesen sind noch aus der Zeit von damals erhalten geblieben.

Always pop in here for a pint when local. Atmospheric, lively chatter. Love it!
