Very nice place, very kind staff and fabulous atmosphere!

Stopped here on Friday evening for some grub and a drink. Chicken fillet burger and fries, portions good, food tasty, nothing out of this world. Bar clean and well laid out. We sat outside the bar, in the covered area. Nice area, staff very friendly and helpful out here. Can play a selection of games inside such as football, air hockey variation etc, we didn't play as others there. Overall, a nice bar and location with friendly staff.

Stopped for an impromptu drink and to play one of the shufl board games - great fun. Think it was £3 per player for about 30 mins …although could be wrong and no one booted us off. Lots of other games options - table tennis, table football etc. we didn’t eat but food options looked good.

Friday evening drinks but was very quiet. No atmosphere but at least we had time for shuffleboard.

Came for a few drinks and games and had a great time. It was a quiet mid-week night so there was not too much atmosphere but the staff were friendly and I can imagine on a busy night it would be a great atmosphere.

After a disappointing first experience here we came back and it was absolutely brilliant! It seemed to be more busy than the first time we came yet the service was amazing! Lily, Steven and Terry absolutely shined throughout our time here. Shuffleboard was so much fun as none of us had played before Steven was energetic and happy to show and explain the game whilst lily and Steven were so helpful with our food and drink whilst also chatty and friendly! Honestly it was such a fun great experience with family and friends and i really do recommend it! Will 100% be back soon x Food was delish really recommend truffle fries!

Lunch out with our staff. We were shown to a very small table for 4 people. Food took a long time to arrive, the food wasn't bad but not great. It was quiet and didn't really have much atmosphere. Our staff asked to leave rather than stay and play the games, it was not the treat we had hoped for. 13.5% tip added to the bill without notice. I can imagine this is a great spot for a night out when it's busy.

They have nothing that is in the menu. I had to reorder twice

We didn’t eat but drank a LOT! Fantastic evening playing Shuffleboard. Superb atmosphere and Terence our brilliant server, looked out for us all night making sure we didn’t go without! Totally recommend for a great evening with friends.

Epic fish n chips, the wine per bottle is great value. You need the wine, mid way through the summer hols. The kids were very happy with the pizza & flat breads & chips. There are some great games to play too. Oziel was fantastic !

We had a great afternoon here while killing some time before heading to the Spurs game. The games on offer were a lot of fun, especially with a small group. The cocktails were excellent, the snacks were tasty, and Stephen provided wonderful service, making us feel very welcome. This spot is ideal for drinks and substantial bar food. While the food was pretty good and reasonably priced, it's really the lively atmosphere that makes this place special. There are indoor games available, and despite it being busy on a Saturday afternoon, we easily found a table. There’s a wide selection of drinks, the servers are extremely welcoming, and the atmosphere is loud and perfectly suited for a social hangout. We even had a few Jäger bombs to top off the experience. Highly recommend for drinks and snacks!

Is our first time in players social bar. The stsfg os very warm, welcoming and very polite. The food os nice and Molly makes one of the best caipirinhas i tasted in London. I would recomend you wont regret.

Came on a Saturday at 11am for the free shuffleboard games they advertise on the website. Got there and explained to a worker that we were here for the free games (and was NOT told to pay to get free games), and was allowed to play. Had a fun time until we were approached by the manager BEFORE midday to pay for our hour game. We had shown them the website and they still insisted on us paying in total. We immediately paid the £25 and left, completely ruining our moods. Won't be coming back. Edit: I'm sorry but nowhere on the website does it say that any purchase was required on entry for the games to be free. We also did not decline, we asked to pay for a small item and still was told to pay half by the manager. Your website is misleading and would be disappointing to future customers, instead change it to 'buy a drink and get a free game' and it would be more accurate.

Nice location, good food at affordable prices. The variations of the pizzas, for example, are extraordinary. The food came a little too quickly, so it felt like they wanted to clear the table quickly. Great environment in Spitalfield Market.

Good atmosphere, horrible service & the most rude server. They broke my 5 year sober card, I asked for a non alcoholic beer and brought me a 4.3% beer and didn’t tell me. We will not be back here, absolutely tragic.

Drinks for the table next to us were added to our bill. The waitress wasn’t able to refund the value in cash as they are cashless. Was asked for my email address to process a refund but they’ve not reached out. I’ve emailed them twice now over the last four days and no reply. Be careful!

Came in today for some drinks after work, food and drinks were great but the service was amazing. Our server was ozeil and she was really funny and made sure we was having a great time. I’ll be back!

Everything was great. The food was good came here for the first time with some colleagues too. Best part was the service especially waitress Oziel. She is the epitome of brilliant service so bubbly loved it!!!

Very nice place to sit and have a catch up whilst sampling the cocktail menu. Only had some chips but the taste and portion was good. Sat in the market which has it's good and bad points. Staff were OK, service not very quick.

Food is actually pretty good - service is sub optimal and it’s definitely not the ‘games bar’ it’s sold to be! And there is no djs on Thursday nights. Brought a big crew down her and was super deflated by the experience. Also service charge is 13.5% for doing very very minimal. Avoid if you can

I came with a group of 25 , Stephen took my booking and was extremely accommodating. All the waiters especially Denise and Lauren were attentive and made sure we had a good time. Will definitely be coming again!

The place is a piss take. £8 odd for a Guinness and the woman tried to stick a tip on top for walking 3 paces from the bar to give me my drink, she didn't even pour it. Then gave me attitude when i questioned the extra charge.

Dropped in here for a Saturday afternoon catch-up with a friend. Nice atmosphere and calm even though there are some fun games going on. The food is really tasty.

My friends and I visited Player Spitalfields for the first time, and it’s safe to say it will likely be our last. Our evening began with a lackluster welcome as we arrived shortly before 10 pm. Despite our anticipation for a relaxing drink, we were met with neglect as no one attended to take our order. When my friend attempted to order at the bar, she was rudely dismissed with the assurance that someone would eventually attend to us. After a prolonged wait, our orders were finally taken, only to be followed by another delay of about 15 minutes before our drinks arrived. To add insult to injury, when we mentioned the absence of sparkling water, our server disappeared to fetch it, only to be found chatting with friends at a neighboring table, deeming our wait acceptable. As the clock neared 10:30 pm, we were informed about the last order, prompting us to hastily place our final drink request. However, our enjoyment was short-lived as we were handed plastic cups and informed that the establishment was closing, barely 15 minutes before the scheduled closing time of 11 pm. Having worked in restaurant management for a decade, I typically reserve my feedback for positive experiences. However, the unwelcoming and rushed atmosphere at Player Spitalfields left us feeling disappointed and undervalued. It’s disheartening to witness such a lack of professionalism and customer care, especially in a venue with potential. Ultimately, our evening was marred by the subpar service and hastiness of the staff, leaving us regretting our decision to visit Player Spitalfields. It’s evident that improvements are needed, particularly in staff training and customer relations, to uphold the reputation of the establishment and ensure a pleasant experience for patrons.

Molly was incredible. She was so friendly and efficient. I love this place outdoor patio on the terrace was lovely.

Visited to start a Saturday night out, as there were activities to do but not quite as intense as visiting some of the competitors. We had shuffleboard booked & were shown to a table to wait for it to become free. Some men decided to keep playing for ages when it was our turn so we did have to wait a while but had a great time playing, also were luckily on an inside table, but I believe there are some outside ones too. Cocktails were very nice, bit on the pricey side at £13 however. Staff were very attentive and it was table service rather than bar ordering. A DJ did turn up around 6pm but we left shortly after so cannot comment on them! Shuffleboard seemed quite reasonably priced and we weren't hurried off at the end of our booking, we could finish in our own time. Quite busy for a Saturday afternoon so I would probably recommend booking to avoid disappointment but will definitely be returning next time I'm in the area.

Had a really great experience here. We visited Spitalfields Market on Mother's day (10 Mar 2024) and whilst my wife and daughters went shopping I grabbed a beer. After the girls had finished shopping, we only had 30 mins before we needed to leave and catch the train..... we were up against it in terms of getting them a drink and having time to enjoy it (rather than gulping it down). We let the serving team (Stephen and Molly) know this and boy did they pull it out of the bag. Molly got the girls seated and Stephen managed to grab 3 glasses of prosecco (I already had my beer) in 70 seconds!!! Love this place anyway, but this just made in extra special. Thanks Stephen and Molly

Absolutely fantastic. Molly was fast and efficient and Stephen was brilliant as well, he joked around with us and took 1 min 30 seconds to get us three glasses of Prosecco. Outstanding service

Needed quick drinks before my parents train. Stephen took on the task and we timed him at his request! Took 1min and 30secs for 3 glasses of Prosecco!! And Molly also helped make the experience lovely! Would always recommend this bar if you’re in the area!

Amazing atmosphere in this place. Wonderful staff , especially Yusuf , he is very welcoming and helpful. Every time I travel through Liverpool st, I have to stop at this fabulous place.
