Non existing service and extremely rude and unattentive hostess. Never again.

I recently celebrated my graduation at the Parlour, and it was an unforgettable experience. The location is absolutely beautiful, providing a perfect backdrop for such a special occasion. The service was impeccable, with every detail attended to seamlessly. A special mention goes to Anthony, whose amazing hospitality truly stood out. He was attentive, friendly, and ensured that our celebration was flawless from start to finish. Thank you, Anthony , and the entire team for making my graduation celebration so memorable.

Zef was looking after us. He showed us incredible hospitality, full of positive energy and impressive attention to detail! My friends have never met him, yet at the end as we were leaving they all hugged him goodbye! Zef, you are top quality!

Great place to visit and have a drink whilst watching the business world walk by.

Came here for a catch up with some friends had some small plates between us, great mix of dishes and had some of the best margaritas I’ve had in years 🔥 would highly recommend for football also due to the massive space! Will be back for sure

Caught up with some mates I haven't seen for years for a special occasion. We ordered all small plates and a few sides which did not disappoint. Bao buns were unreal. Guinness was really good here too. Which isa rarity for canary wharf. Would reccomend for mates and big groups. Has to be one of the biggest outside areas I've seen.

We ordered two beers. The waiter brought the card reader to pay and we happily paid for it. Only then the waiter gave us the bill and it was added £1 for charity and optional 12% service. The waiter never told us anything about these charges. The customer should have a say about it.

Good food and service. Perfect place for a relaxed brunch in Canary Wharf. Breakfast burgers were just what we needed! Being able to eat outside in the Spring sunshine topped off the experience.

Attended for the first time, Excellent customer service by our host Chloé. She was Amazing, introduced us to the cocktails. The dessert and she did make us go from coffee to desserts and drinks! Nice amazing staff

Chloé was amazing host ending up spending more hours than planned she kept us , comfortable and checking up making sure we were happy, satisfied and happy with the food.i told her , she is an asset to the establishment. The service was second to none, the bar staff were incredibly attentive and helpful to our group. The snacks we had were very tasty and the atmosphere all night (from 5pm - 11pm) was fantastic. The only reason I haven't given 5 stars is because one of our party had a laptop stolen from their bag despite us all keeping our bags close to us and never leaving them unattended.

Appalling. Waited 45 mins for food that never came - when followed up on, the servers response was "it's busy". Turns out they didn't put the order through at all. In summary: Terrible service only worsened by a terrible attitude. Avoid

Nice varied selection, food was on point only the flat bread needed a bit more seasoning. The price point was reasonable. The service was OK but one waitress needed to smile a little more. I was a little disappointed my friends birthday wasn't acknowledged even though I had booked, and they sneaked in a charity donation on the bill without asking. A little naughty there. I'd visit again!

Hi, The Parlour in Canary Wharf is the place to be on a lazy Sunday afternoon. Or having a drink in the summer on the square at their tables just outside. A very sleek run restaurant and a special 5* to Holly D, the manager, who turned a potential not so good situation into a 5* experience. A minor but good touch is the bowl of sweets in the ladies :-) . Marie

Had a wonderful first visit to The Parlour on Saturday. The atmosphere was great. Good food and service. Our waitress was called Sniezana. She was really friendly and very attentive. We were on a girlie trip to London and will definitely be returning when we next travel to London.

Very disappointed poor service poor food Attended for family birthday - were told after placing order and witnessing our food on the pass that one item was unavailable - this led to a delay on service - food left standing some of which became inedible - the waiting staff should be made aware in advance what was not available - the same happened with dessert??? Birthday customer received no acknowledgment even thought we informed staff - waiting staff were not attentive and maitre-de had no interest Will certainly not recommend

Booked a table for 9 a week before the date of the 12th December and was told no problem but i may have to pay a deposit and they would get back to me if i did , no call or email and i rang on the 11th to be told the booking had been cancelled , now letting a large customer down - Awful service and no real explanation why the booking had gone wrong

Nice place but far too busy to enjoy so moved on to somewhere that we could enjoy. It was a Thursday evening to be fair.

I had Brunch here yesterday, smoked salmon with hollandaise sauce . I am now bent over the toilet being sick, every few minutes . The food was luke warm when I ate it and I started feeling uncomfortable very soon after leaving. I will never return.it does not deserve even one star

They have rats!!!!! We sat down in a table in a corner . A table booked for 10, service was slow to say the least and it appeared we were then being rushed to order dessert!! I looked to my right to see a rat scurry down the wall into the kitchen area?!! We then saw 2 traps!! We confronted the manager who tried to keep us quiet!! Who made it clear he and his staff knew about the infestation and offered us free food but told us we would be charged for drinks!!!! We then spotted another rodent!! It’s appalling DO NOT EAT THERE. We contacted environmental health within 24 hours!! It should not still be open and certainly not serving food and drinks!!!! The manager tried to shhh up he was clearly aware and was behaving unprofessional and deceitful No photos as of course the last thing u expect is to grab your phone and take a pic of a running rat!!!!

Pre booked a table of 4. On arrival the welcoming was non existent and the waiter half heartily pointed to an area to sit. Ordered our food and drink. The waiter misunderstood one of the drinks which is fine because it was swiftly corrected but at the end we were charged for the unwanted item that then had to be corrected. What became clear the place is badly managed. One of our guests wanted to sit comfortably on the chair without one of the fake furry rugs hanging over it. When asked what to do with it the guy hanging behind the bar using his laptop could barely have the effort to verbally assist. This was the second red flag during our visit. Whilst waiting for our food we noticed a line of staff admiring the food under the heat lamps. It appeared to look like our dishes. 10mins later the food remained unattended under the lamps - no staff to be found. I decided to speak to the manager. I simply asked if the dishes were for our table because they had been waiting for a vast amount of time. After a few pressing buttons on the touch screen the manager admitted they were in deed for our table. The food was delivered however my fish batter was soggy probably from absorbing the moisture from the fish. I raised a complaint with the manager who swiftly took the plate away and within 3-5mins returned what appeared to have been the same piece of battered fish only refried and a darker toned batter. The fish now was dry, mushy peas cold and the chips warmish and hard. It appears there was little time to drain the oil from the fry as you’ll see in the photo. I was extremely disappointed and embarrassed because I had suggested booking this restaurant for the meal. In comparison to previous visits over the years this place has rapidly gone downhill. No excuse the inside was practically empty and half capacity outside with plenty of staff at hand with the exception of the guy doing his business on the laptop close to the customers table. With so much competition and high standards in the hospitality sector base on todays experience I will never use a Drake and Morgan venue for business or private. You can cheat on me once.

Amazing service especially from Tony who always has a smile on his face and a funny anecdote to share… one of the main reasons I go there.

I appreciate a popular bar but moved from table to table as they now seem to rely mainly on custom from pre booked tables rather than walk-ins

This bar adds expensive service charge on top of drinks bill when you visit and order at the bar to be served. That’s just crazy, and a Rip off. There was no receipt given or sign advising. Prices are already premium. It goes against what is the norm in the service industry. Service should be paid with discretion when actually served IE at the table where there is table service. I asked manager to refund the service charge. This has to stop and shouldn’t be legal. Many unassuming customers do not know they are paying this additional charge. Will not return.

Nice outside area, very nice inside, lovely loos, service was good, speedy food which was yum! Only downside is that a lot of people just sit down at the tables outside before entering the shopping centre/restaurants next door to have a cigarette and not actually order anything or a drink which is a bit off putting when eating (but then again, it was our choice to sit outside so not a criticism against The Parlour itself, just to be noted if you don’t like that)

Went there for breakfast and to watch the women’s final. Food was awful… eggs Benedict overcooked/ overpriced for a stale muffin like bread with old wilted brown leaves of some description and yellow dollop of hollandaise like blob. Service was non existent, a disinterested waitress who did not even bring the cutlery. Fresh orange juice tasted like it was out of a long life carton. Wife had a dodgy stomach for 2 days after eating their flatbread shakshuka which was also accompanied by browned stale leaves. Table next to us sent back 2 of their full English breakfasts, looked even worse than ours with rubberised eggs and bacon that was still alive. I mean how can you get a full English breakfast so wrong… So disappointing, kitchen should be ashamed of sending out food like that.

Ordered three drinks at the bar which came to £28 pound. When I asked why my bill was so much, the guy behind the bar said it includes service charge! I immediately asked him to take it off and when the manager arrived to refund me, he was very rude and said all the bars charge this and it is because I ordered a few drinks (3 in total). He also said it is stated in the menu but I don't need a menu when I'm buying a pint of lager so not a valid reason. It's really unacceptable and daylight robbery when there is "no service" as such. I will be making a formal complaint.

Terrible service, £90 bill and asked for some cucumber in the Gin was told by the barman , that he knew how to make a drink .

Very bad service - waited about 20 mins to pay. When we got the bill we saw that they added unseen charges to each drink! Their excuse was that the menu on our table was the wrong one, but it was the same menu as all the other menus in the establishment. Total rip off.

Only commenting on the roast, I'd give it a 4/10 chicken cooked sitting in sloppy fatty juices - no gravy! The meat was dry on top but everything else was very soggy - carrots, parsnips, potatoes all sloppy from the same juice. Don't have the roast.

£4.50 for 8 olives, no table service...and pints that weren't cold enough ...sure it sounds like London...but did it have to be THIS bad?

This place is a local for after work drinks especially in the summer. I did visit parlour on Saturday with my friend and I have to say, I loved it even more! The attention to detail on the weekend is far better than a weekday (which is expected as weekdays does get very packed). I asked the barman to suggest a cocktail as it was super hot outside and he made the best cocktail I’ve had in ages. We also ordered some chips and halloumi sticks and they were delicious. I recommend this place to people I know all the time but now I’ll tell them it’s especially good on a weekend!

Would not come here again or recommend. Ordered shakshua with poached eggs. Arrived with about 2 spoons of the vegetable mix and poached eggs cooked solid. V disappointing

Came for dinner. The restaurant is wheelchair accessible (not sure about the bathroom) and offers some gluten free options. We had enjoyed the food and view of the buildings. Staff were friendly enough maybe a little on the slow time but that's common for London.

Very disappointing experience and so we left. The venue wasn’t busy, it was a bank holiday Monday, and we were totally ignored by the staff outside. We went in and stood at the front waiting to be greeted. There was a manager sat at a table on her laptop who also ignored us. We ended up sitting down at a table, which despite being laid up with cutlery and glasses was sticky with drinks marks and obviously hadn’t been wiped down. I noticed a QR code on a plant pot to scan to order drinks, except half the drinks on the menu weren’t available on this digital menu page. We ended up leaving because we’d been ignored the whole time, and everything seemed so average there. There are so many better and more vibrant places to go in Canary Wharf than Drake & Morgan (aka The Parlour).

Great place for drinks at the weekend, London prices

Great bar, was there for drinks after work on Thursday and the host there, who was wearing a pink suit I believe (didn’t get their name) was great and delivered excellent customer service!

The staff were rude and physically confrontational when I was nothing but polite. I went in to use the bathroom close to closing time and was shoved back by staff. Customer service is dead

nice vibe inside and reasonably priced cocktails, although came in on saturday night and they had limited their cocktail menu which seems odd to me also closing at 11pm on a saturday is pretty early and they stop serving cocktails when they call last orders which is pretty annoying when the place is set-up to be a cocktail bar

Good okay but we had at least five sightings of mice - running everywhere, from the skirting boards to the ceiling joists. When we alerted the staff, including the kitchen staff, they really didn’t react. So clearly there has been a pest problem in this restaurant for a while. When you search “mouse” in the reviews, you’ll see this isn’t the first time they have had an issue with rodents. Have complained to the food safety agency as the mice were genuinely running around everywhere so it is a food hazard.

Went with a group of friends on the 28th Feb 2023 for a birthday. We ordered from the set menus. Drinks were watered down and rubbish, taking over half an hour to come. The food was the big let down though. I’ve had nicer food at mcdonald’s. Both of the steaks had to be sent back, both were meant to be medium rare, one was completely overcooked and the other completely raw. Once sent back they were replaced with steaks that were half the size and cooked even worse, full of fat too. The burgers were dry and bland, the onion rings were cold, the desserts were dry and tasteless. We ended up sending back most of the food. Wont be coming again sadly :(

Delightful in every possible way. Gorgeous design and lovely vibes. We walked into the bar looking for a quiet place to have a few drinks and have a conversation. Where can you find this in London these days. Well here. There is a great selection of drinks and the service is very friendly and prompt. I recommend you get reservations if you are going during standard meal hours. Both the food and the service were spectacular. Absolutely adored the outside area. Dog friendly. If you have a dog you have to go there with your pawl. I would certainly go again. P.S : Poisoned Apple 🥃 is A must try !!!!

The atmosphere is really nice there, very cozy and chill. Me and my frd went there for lunch. I ordered chicken burger and my frd ordered the green curry. The chicken burger is alright, nothing special and the green curry is a bit sour. In terms of the prize, I believe it should taste better than this.

Rudest staff and manager! The staff scam you so avoid!! Asked for double drinks but was half a single or single at best! Told them that a mistake has happened and the one staff (Pablo) come up with a rude attitude shakes his head and goes no mate i made these drinks they are definitely double. He then tasted it without my permission goes yep double then walks off. Asked for the manager and (Michela) turns up and says yep i watched him make the drinks and they are definitely doubles. So i asked if she watches every drink that is made at the bar to which she replies yes! Ridiculous! One of my friends who was with us owns a bar and also told them politely that they are not doubles. Told the manager to rectify it to which she declined. Basically they are both in on the scam to make more money and pocket it themselves! So had to pay the bill and leave! Oh and refused to validate our parking!! This place is a shambles! Both staff need to be trained or sacked! Avoid this place like the plague!!

if i could give 0 stars i would absolute joke watered down drinks asked for a double rum and coke and as someone who owns a bar there was not a double rum in there at all manager came and didn’t do anything about it we’re not here to shaft anybody but as a bar owner do not come to me and tell me it is a double when it is not horrible attitude from the manager and the barman who supposedly made the drink do not come here, plenty of bars around Canary Wharf. disgusting attitude

We found this place by accident in Canary Wharf and can't fault the friendly and efficient staff. Great place to grab a drink, chat or eat. We'll be back! Shaun

Nice pub to grab a few beers or some pub food after work

By far the worst place I have ever eaten food was not even cooked properly, burger still cold in the middle, food presented well shame it did not taste as good as it looked. the service was disgusting I had to ask for a receipt as not given one, I ordered my food at the bar. They didn’t mentioned they added £10 charge on for making an order, I ordered a Christmas candy cane cocktail which came in a tiny champagne flume. Glasses of cokes were half full. Never would I eat here again or recommend it.

Overcharged us for drinks by quite a lot - only found out by scrutinising the bill at the end of the night. Got cursed at for no reason by a punter . Musical choice was good and snacks were good too.

food really tasteless overall. Tried the nibbles with vegan burrata that has no taste at all and was not what you expect when having burrata, the bread served with it was awful. They put beetroots which is not great choice at all. Houmous had no taste either. Even the mayonnaise had no taste. The charcuterie plate ok but they just pour oil all over it. Not really necessary. Poor menu and very little choice. Had wild mushroom risotto in the end and was ok but it's £15 for a bit of rice and 1 mushroom sliced up.

Don't go here. We went there for my birthday, got seated at a small low table darkly lit and then ignored for ages, when we finally called someone over we were told the kitchen was closed and they were just serving drinks- how can that be when they serve all day breakfast, sunday lunch etc. After we asked the waitress to get the manager she came back saying it was closed again, then we asked again and finally someone came over saying it wasn't closed, and it was a joke in the kitchen and a misunderstanding, well its not funny. We decided to leave but Looking at the other reviews, i should imagine they will be out of business within the new year. Do better.

Poor service today for a Mothers 65th Birthday meal. Shown to a table by a "Waitress", We werent advised that we had to order via a QR code and that they dont provide a table service. Orderes our food which was actually ok. Starters came relatively quick as did the drinks. The drinks were horrendous and badly made. The mains arrived and we were missing one. The "Waitress" didnt comment or clearly spot that they had only delivered 2 of 3 mains. After 10 minutes of waiting i questioned the missing food and she said yes were waiting on the dish. The manager queried with the Kitchen which luckily is an open kitchen and it was clear they had forgotten the meal. This was quickly and rather questionably quickly made and delivered. Onto deserts and second drinks. Ordered via the QR code. Order confirmation received and funds taken from card. After 20 minutes of waiting we queried the order. The "Waitress" was confused and have a convo with 3 managers i assume. Another 5 minutes if waiting we were told the order hadnt gine through as the payment wasnt received. I queried how we were given a order confirmation via their app and the funds showing as taken from our account. They advised this hadnt gone through and there isnt anything they can do and walked off !!!! Chased up a manager who advised it is a known erroe and glitch with their system but they still use the system as they couldnt cope without it due to covid staffing issues !! I stood there and watched him pull up our order on his screen and reverse the payment back to us which i assume meant he didnt have the desserts available in the first place. The service and their attitude was poor for a £140 odd pound lunch.

Shocking service and staff who really don’t care. Had to wait for 25 minutes for our drinks which we were told to order on line. What appeared to be the manger came out to check our order and 10 minutes later still no drinks. I went to complain only to find the drinks sitting on the bar waiting to be delivered. They’d been there so long they were warm!!!!!

Disappointed with this Restaurant. I was so excited to come and ended up leaving without eating. Lead to a coffee table as I arrived to eat a meal, was met with no waiter to discuss the menu or take my order. Had to work out there was a self scan option. When a waiter did arrive, he gestured to another waiter to take my order. When the second waiter came, he came with no pad or electronic device to take my order! We waited a while for him to return and then decided to leave when we didn’t see him return.

I drink here fairly often and always have a great time. We held a large corporate drinks evening here this week and it was an absolute blast! Helen was amazing in helping us organise the night, great communication and nothing was too small. We had Lewis looking after us for the evening and he was nothing short of brilliant, very helpful and attentive. Everyone who came along really enjoyed themselves, the food was great (no idea why anyone would say the food isn't good here - I've always found it to be delicious and plenty of it), all in all it was a cracking evening! Can't recommend this place enough <3

Bartender was asked to make a cocktail that was effectively a Manhatten. Had no idea what ingredients to put in (had to consult the drinks menu repeatedly) and then diluted his mess with tonic water – not listed as an ingredient on the menu.

Good, well balanced food and relaxed service. The provided blankets are a nice touch for the outside seating. Watch out for the 12.5% 'optional' service charge, which I was not aware of until after paying! Will be going back to try more dishes.

It’s is the third time in a row when I was completely let down by the service - specifically waiting time. It used to be one of my regular spots, but not anymore. The 1st time this happened, they had a big event inside, so I let it slide. The 2nd time - they said they had a shift change, so I stayed but chose not to pay the service charge on my first order. This afternoon I waited for a while and then just left. Sad, as this never used to happen when I first stared coming here a year ago. Food is nice and they have a decent wine list. Two stars all considered.

Very nice bar and exceptional bar staff, specially Eva. Over the years I've been visiting this venue I've always had very good service, specially when I had operations on my feet, and they always arranged accessable acces and seating. And provided with transport to get home.
