The best restaurants serving Other cuisines food in East of England

We popped in for lunch and were welcomed by lovely, friendly staff. The menu was quite restrictive for myself being a vegetarian. In fact the menu was typically old school pub food but it was hot, there was plenty of it and it didn't break the bank.

Because of its surrounding glazing, the atmosphere of the Glass House Cafe is inspiring and enhances the much needed social interaction with neighbours. All kinds of ages, and lovely comfort food of jacket potatoes, sandwiches and freshly made salads; generous portions and immediate service by friendly staff. And as you think you are done, you notice the delicious cakes sitting on the counter, and you stay for a quality coffee accompanied by one of them , at least :-). We are going back for sure! Lovely day at Purdys with the live music, great friendly staff and lovely food and coffee. Always a friendly welcome. Look forward to see more events in the future!

I pay fairly regular visits when shopping with my elderly mum. She raves about the place and visits every week. Always good hot tasty food and will do all coffees with plant based milk. Fab.

Great little spot , food is top notch I love that they are about using up everything there no wasting food , place is spotless what more can you ask for

This was poor! The service did not listen to the order we told them how many shots we wanted it the coffee but they put more we asked for a tuna mayo salad in a baguette there was one cucumber and one tomato on the side!! They gave us the wrong bread when we asked for brown toast and gave us one mini jam even the cup was smelly!! The service was bad but the food was worse!

Coffee was far too sweet, obviously with added sugar so unsuitable if you prefer a bitter taste. Food was underwhelming and bland.

End of an Era ❤️An amazing team and such a shame that the doors have closed for good. I wish them nothing but the best.

I was very disappointed with Southend. For my birthday muffin. The boss usually lets me choice my muffin. The Chinese girl who served me. Was very rude. Would not listen to me. I had to settle. For a basic one. It used to be a great store. Spoke to Lukasz Iwanow from customer service. Was not help. Just said. The boss can provide. When it suits. No compensation I had been going there for years.

Charlie Hodson & the Crown 👑 Pub just keep getting better. Wednesday Curry Night is really catching on. The food is yum yum, the staff so friendly & efficient, the pub warm & inviting. The place was completely sold out with another 20+ people trying to get booked. Luckily, the Crown will offer Curry 🍛 Night every Wednesday, starting next Wednesday. This will make it easier for more Curry Fans to experience Charlie’s fantastic creations, but best to book ahead. Charlie’s grandfather was from India and taught Charlie well. Yes, I’ve already booked my table for next Wednesday.

We arrived for a quick coffee and pit stop and all areas very clean All staff very polite and helpful Plenty of seating in and out

We have had many orders delivered and just recently took 1 hour 30 minutes on average, my wife spoke gentleman on the phone after ordering online and just asked how long roughly it would take and the gentleman was very rude to her saying it’s busy it will get there soon nothing I can do about it and carried on moaning to her, this is not the response people want to hear after a simple question was asked, we won’t be ordering from there again, avoid if you want to wait nearly 2 hours for your food, if they can’t for fill the orders then they should stop taking orders so they can catch up

When I come from the States to visit my sister I always stop here to get treats. The food is fabulous and I have never been disappointed!
