Recently had the Cavery Roast on a Friday. Absolutely delicious meal. Both the Pork Beef were fabulous, as were the roasties! All washed down with a glass of Merlot. Excellent prices and service. Alas not many people there.

Great coffee but Iâve never experienced such slow service. Co-op staff members clearly get priority when it comes to service and extraordinarily long chats with the cafe staff slow it right down

The Gathering, a friendly gathering of magicians promoted a magic show in the main restaurant of the casino which included a buffet for us, a total of 60 guests. It was more like a Banquet than a Buffet it was amazing hot and cold food, it was Gastronomic! The waiter service with drinks, food and topping up the buffet was unwavering. We would recommend anyone considering booking an event requiring a buffet to contact the Grosvener Casino. Gemma, The General Manager was visible and attentive to every detail, as were the staff. Thank you again to the Grosvener Casino, Jeffrey Drayton. On behalf of âThe Gatheringâ To see the writer of this appreciative review, Google:- Jeff BGT. Have fun!

We was had just handed the boat back across the river and the four of us thought we would go over the bridge to get some breakfast We sat inside waiting to be served then after about 15 mins a member of staff came over to ask us what we would like we asked first for two teas and two coffeeâs which we weâre then told they had no milk to make them so we decided to drive into Great Yarmouth and get some breakfast there as we wanted drinks with the breakfast

GREAT REAL ALE Proper Traditional Pub with nice atmosphere and polite efficient bar lady. Also out back nice area to relax. Serving a choice of 3 Real Ales - On the day I visited Doom Bar Timothy Taylors Landlord and Ghost Ship plus lagers and the rest. Food wise nothing much though I guess there would be available crisps nuts etc. I went for the Doombar @ ÂŁ2.95 pint which was excellent. Dogs are positively welcomed. Various Signs around for various types of nights dates. Great Pub Great Real Ales Great Service.

If you want to eat awful and not healthy than best you camp in. Food is cold, staff are rude and faces like they don't wanna be there. Short woman was very rude and you could hear them shouting out the back. Some man who appeared to be friends with them messing around outside. This isn't what i like to see when eating out. HUGE let down girls. They need to be more polite and have a better manner and not shout so much!!!

Met great friends here with local knowledge -I was told to expect delicious food with eccentric ambiance. Loved the food- I had fish pasta with avocado and beetroot salad, and followed with excellent Banoffee pie and Espresso. Michelle, daughter of the chef provided excellent service, charm with added wit! I will return bringing my husband next time.

Cute little coffee shop tucked away just off main high street. Delicious cakes, good coffee and very nice hot chocolate! Biscuit jar full of biscuits for dogs - very friendly all round! Toilets upstairs. I safely left my husband and our dog there whilst I browsed the lovely shopsđ

Top spot just outside of Braintree for drinks. We like to come here for the sports every now and then as weâve moved out of town but itâs our go to when weâre here. If youâre after a pub with a decent selection of drinks. Good food. Nice locals and a great young landlord whoâll be sure to look after you. This is your place! Great outside in the summer. Cozy in the winter. An authentic pub.

We went here for lunch and sat in the lovely garden, which is decorated with teacups lovely plants benches and white tables. Staff were friendly and the food was lovely we had the brunch bagel đ„Ż and an ice coffee. Just be careful when digging into the bagel as the poached egg yolk went everywhere- but this is a sign of a great egg. Drinks were also lovely. Would defo go back. They also have a gorgeous private function room with music defo worth looking into.

*Terrible service* We went to Maison and Mollie after it reopened post flood. Given it was the first weekend of reopening the place felt so dirty and unloved. The cake tins were empty. The one member of staff serving shouldn't have taken a job in hospitality. She appeared annoyed to be serving customers and even more so every time anyone asked for a different type of milk or anything extra. We asked to pay then and there to be told ''i think its best you wait'', without any further explanation. We waited 20 minutes for two coffees which were not the correct order when they arrived. The waitress slammed the down on the table. Whilst we were there she turned away so many other customers telling them there was a long wait when the place wasn't exactly overflowing. Such a shame to have a local lovely coffee shop run into the ground by a grumpy member of staff. Give the job to someone who wants it.
