I left sad and annoyed. I have favourably reviewed this cafe in the past but it has all changed now, and not for the better. The kitchen has gone, and with it the expresso machine. Frankly, this can hardly claim to be a cafe. I paid £5.70 for a miserable excuse for a cappuccino and a flapjack. The coffee was very weak, with thin froth on the top. The flapjack was decent, but the bill was a joke. I will remember the old days with affection, but I won't be going back.

The best cafe I've been to in Norwich! I have been going there for years now and it has always been a pleasure. The staff are absolutely amazing and as a fussy eater I can enjoy my time here with no worries. Butterfly Cafe is a hidden gem of Norwich and deserves way more attention than it can get.

We found this little cafe online as we were looking for a dog friendly stop in Norwich. The staff were so friendly and definitely dog lovers. The lattes were really good. We both had panini's which were toasted and came with a lovely little bit of salad and coleslaw which were delicious. The other food, especially the sausage rolls looked good. It has a relaxed friendly atmosphere.

So often when sitting down in a restaurant wait staff pounce on you. We love the informality and relaxed atmosphere of Wallow. Everything seems to be designed to help customers chill out. The sharing boards are good and would be even better if there was an even number of all items so that they could be shared equally. And it’s good to try different wines.

Awkward rules and dirty mugs. My partner and I went in for a post dinner drink and desert. Place was completely empty with reservations. We were told we couldn’t share a desert and we have to order drinks with our food. We ended up having a hot chocolate each and one large desert which they let us off with (probably because we would have been their only customers!). There was a lipstick mouth print on my mug when it arrived. Absolutely disgusting, no explanation of how that could have happened. They got me a new hot chocolate but it was really gross and off putting. Such a shame because the desert was amazing.

All a bit New Brighton. Decent coffee but on the expensive side.

Only ever sampled their breakfasts which have always been amazing and have the best traditional breakfast along with other more adventurous choices, like the loaded hasbrowns with multiple choice toppings, just an amazing menu variety for all. Excellent coffee, freshly squeezed orange juice and more. Each time I've been, I've felt slightly chilly, but that's the only criticism I have. Quirky little cafe which has a retro bands theme, child friendly and lovely location. Definitely a loyal, returning customer.
